One-dimensional ZnO materials have been promising for field-emission (FE) application, but how to facially control the alignment of ZnO emitters is still a great challenge especially for patterned display application. Here, we report the fabrication of novel ZnO nanowire (NW) line and bundle arrays for patterned field-electron emitters. The effects of PS template size and heating time on the resulted ZnO nanoarrays were systematically studied. The deformation degree of PS templates was controlled and hence utilized to adjust the alignment of electrochemically deposited ZnO arrays. It was found that the length of NW lines and the density of NW bundles can effectively tuned by the PS template heating time. The optimal FE performance with turn-on electric field as low as of 4.4 V μm−1 and the field-enhancement factor as high as of 1450 were achieved through decreasing the screening effect among the patterned field-electron emitters. 相似文献

Permeation enhancers (PEs), such as N-[8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino]-caprylate (SNAC), have been reported to improve the oral absorption of various macromolecules. However, the bioavailabilities of these formulations are quite low and variable due to the influences of enzymes, pH and other gastrointestinal barriers. In this study, we revealed that SNAC could interact with insulin to form tight complexes in a specific concentration (insulin ≥ 40 µg/mL)-, ratio (SNAC/insulin ≥ 20:1)- and pH (≥ 6.8)-dependent manner, thus contributing to a significantly high efficacy of oral insulin delivery. Specifically, absorption mechanism studies revealed that the SNAC/insulin complexes were internalized into the cells by passive diffusion and remained intact when transported in the cytosol. Furthermore, the complexes accelerated the exocytosis of insulin to the basolateral side, thereby enhancing its intestinal mucosal permeability. Eudragit? S100-entrapped SNAC/insulin microspheres were then prepared and exhibited an apparent permeability coefficient (Papp) that was 6.6-fold higher than that of the insulin solution. In diabetic rats, hypoglycemic activity was sustained for more than 10 h after the microspheres were loaded into enteric-coated capsules. Further pharmacokinetic studies revealed an approximately 6.3% oral bioavailability in both the fasted and fed states, indicating a negligible food effect. Collectively, this study provides insight into the interaction between PEs and payloads and presents an SNAC-based oral insulin delivery system that has high oral bioavailability and patient-friendly medication guidance. 相似文献

To improve the numerical evaluation of weakly singular integrals appearing in the boundary element method, a logarithmic Gaussian quadrature formula is usually suggested in the literature. In this formula the singular function is expressed in terms of the distance between source point and field point, which is a real variable. When an anisotropic elastic solid is considered, most of the existing fundamental solutions are written in terms of complex variables. When the problems with holes, cracks, inclusions, or interfaces are considered, to suit for the shape of the boundaries usually a mapping function is introduced and then the solutions are expressed in terms of mapped complex variables. To deal with the trouble induced by the complex variables, in this study through proper change of variables we develop a simple way to improve the evaluation of weakly singular integrals, especially for the problems of anisotropic elastic solids containing holes, cracks, inclusions, or interfaces. By simple matrix expansion, the proposed method is extended to the problems with piezoelectric or magneto-electro-elastic solids. By using the dual reciprocity method, the proposed method employed for the elastostatic fundamental solution can also be applied to the elastodynamic analysis. 相似文献
