Boron carbide (B4C) is one of the main products from the primary combustion of boron (B)-based propellants and has a significant influence on the secondary combustion of B. To systematically evaluate its effects on the secondary combustion of B, mixtures of B4C and B in different mass ratios were prepared. To study the ignition temperatures and combustion flames of the samples, a xenon lamp ignition experimental system and a flame shape test system were designed, respectively. A thermogravimetry–differential scanning calorimetry–Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy combined thermal analysis system was used to study the thermal oxidation characteristics and analyze the gaseous products of the samples. The results indicate that B4C reduces the heat absorption at the beginning of the ignition, but subsequently prevents the rapid rise of sample temperature. During the stable combustion stage, the maximum flame length under optical density 10−4 (OD4) filter was 20.4 mm, and the maximum flame length under 580 nm + OD4 filters (represents the combustion of B element) was 16.7 mm. The samples contained a small amount of HBO2 and H3BO3, which led to slight mass loss during the low temperature section of the thermal oxidation process. During the high temperature section, the oxidation of B and B4C caused considerable mass gain. The gaseous products of the thermal oxidation process include CO2, CO, and H2O. In general, the B content of 60% was the most beneficial to decrease the oxidation temperature, increase the combustion intensity, and improve the heat-releasing ability of the samples.
Many efforts have been made to prevent interferences in enzymatic electrochemical biosensors by permselective membranes or mediators with low redox potential. However, it is difficult to completely eliminate interferents without compromised sensitivity by these traditional procedures. We propose here a method based on an origami paper device that separates the electrochemical reactions of interferents and substrates for complete depletion of interferents and precise analysis of substrates. Interferents such as ascorbate, urate and paracetamol were completely consumed by a simple electrolysis step, while substrates were quantitatively analyzed by coulometry. With GOx as a model enzyme, an interference-free and calibration-free coulometric glucose biosensor has been demonstrated successfully. The proposed origami paper device provides a facile and easy-controlled approach to eliminate the electroactive interferents completely for enzymatic electrochemical biosensors. 相似文献

Biquadratic tensors play a central role in many areas of science.Examples include elastic tensor and Eshelby tensor in solid mechanics, and Riemannian curvature tensor in relativity theory. The singular values and spectral norm of a general third order tensor are the square roots of the M-eigenvalues and spectral norm of a biquadratic tensor, respectively. The tensor product operation is closed for biquadratic tensors. All of these motivate us to study biquadratic tensors, biquadratic decomposition, and norms of biquadratic tensors. We show that the spectral norm and nuclear norm for a biquadratic tensor may be computed by using its biquadratic structure. Then, either the number of variables is reduced,or the feasible region can be reduced. We show constructively that for a biquadratic tensor,a biquadratic rank-one decomposition always exists, and show that the biquadratic rank of a biquadratic tensor is preserved under an independent biquadratic Tucker decomposition. We present a lower bound and an upper bound of the nuclear norm of a biquadratic tensor. Finally,we define invertible biquadratic tensors, and present a lower bound for the product of the nuclear norms of an invertible biquadratic tensor and its inverse, and a lower bound for the product of the nuclear norm of an invertible biquadratic tensor, and the spectral norm of its inverse. 相似文献
Helico-conical beam is attractive for its phase front is nonseparable helical and conical phase function, which produces a spiral intensity distribution occurs at the focal plane. In this letter, the focal properties of cosh-Gaussian beam with helico-conical wavefront were investigated to show that helico-conical phase front does not always produce spiral intensity distribution. On increasing decentered parameters in cosh parts of the beams, the spiral focal pattern evolves into multiple intensity peaks with center main strongest peak. Under condition of higher decentered parameters, the focal spiral curve disappears. In addition, the topological charge also affects the focal pattern considerably. 相似文献
