Chaos synchronization based on intermittent state observer

This paper describes the method of synchronizing slave to the master trajectory using an intermittent state observer by constructing a synchronizer which drives the response system globally tracing the driving system asymptotically. It has been shown from the theory of synchronization error-analysis that a satisfactory result of chaos synchronization is expected under an appropriate intermittent period and state observer. Compared with continuous control method, the proposed intermittent method can target the desired orbit more efficiently. The application of the method is demonstrated on the hyperchaotic R?ssler systems. Numerical simulations show that the length of the synchronization interval τ_s is of crucial importance for our scheme, and the method is robust with respect to parameter mismatch.     

Study of the microstructural transformations of borate glass and barium metaborate crystals induced by femtosecond laser

This paper describes the microstructural transformations of borate glass and barium metaborate crystals induced by femtosecond laser. Such structural transformations were verified by Raman spectroscopy. The borate glass is transformed into low temperature (LT) phase of barium metaborate (BaB_2O_4) crystals after being irradiated for 10 min by a femtosecond laser. In addition, after 20 min of irradiation, high temperature (HT) phase of BaB_2O_4 crystals is also produced. Further studies demonstrate that LT phase BaB_2O_4 crystals are formed in the HT phase BaB_2O_4 crystals after femtosecond laser irradiation for 10 s.

宁波甬江大桥的大挠度非线性计算问题

研究了宁波甬江铁路大桥的大挠度非线性设计计算问题.提出了非线性方程的叠代近似算法,同时指出了如果两岸落差约5m,两岸跨度约100m计算,则桥梁中间的最大斜度将超过5%,这远远超过铁路设计允许的斜度.为此,提出了减小路轨斜度的设计方案,即铁路在两岸都有长度约1km斜度为0.5%的路基,使两岸的落差减小到约为原来落差的1/10.这样路轨在跨越甬江时,其挠度的斜度就会大大缩小,也在0.5%～0.6%之间.     

大位移Timoshenko转轴三维耦合动力学分析

对于高速柔性转轴,综合考虑滑移、弯曲、剪切变形、旋转惯性、陀螺效应和动不平衡等因素,运用Timoshenko旋转梁理论,给出弹性体空间运动的一般性描述,通过Hamilton原理建立弯曲-扭转-轴向三维耦合非线性动力学方程,应用参数摄动方法和假设振型方法进行化简,并用数值模拟分析了轴向刚性滑移、剪切变形、截面尺寸和转速等因素对转轴动力学响应的影响。     

具有周期输入Hopfield型神经网络的全局渐近性质

在不假定非线性激励函数有界和可微的条件下,应用Mawhin的重合度理论及Liapunov函数法给出一类具有周期输入的Hopfield型神经网络存在周期解及其全局指数稳定的充分条件。     

Hyperfine structure of singly ionized lanthanum and praseodymium

Hyperfine structure spectra of singly ionized lanthanum and praseodymium have been measured by collinear fast-ion-beam laser spectroscopy. All the spectral lines were resolved and the magnetic dipole and electric quadruple coupling constants of the metastable levels and excited levels were determined. Our results are in agreement with the published data within the experimental uncertainty. For praseodymium ions, the accuracy of the magnetic dipole coupling constants are improved by one order of magnitude compared with other published data, and the electric quadruple coupling constants are reported for the first time.
