For the first time, the influence of different types of atoms (Zn and O) on the antibacterial activities of nanosized ZnO was quantitatively evaluated with the aid of a 3D‐printing‐manufactured evaluation system. Two different outermost atomic layers were manufactured separately by using an ALD (atomic layer deposition) method. Interestingly, we found that each outermost atomic layer exhibited certain differences against gram‐positive or gram‐negative bacterial species. Zinc atoms as outermost layer (ZnO?Zn) showed a more pronounced antibacterial effect towards gram‐negative E. coli (Escherichia coli), whereas oxygen atoms (ZnO?O) showed a stronger antibacterial activity against gram‐positive S. aureus (Staphylococcus aureus). A possible antibacterial mechanism has been comprehensively discussed from different perspectives, including Zn2+ concentrations, oxygen vacancies, photocatalytic activities and the DNA structural characteristics of different bacterial species.  相似文献

A novel asymmetrical diarylethene with a (formyloxyethoxy)ethyl‐linked naphthalimide unit was synthesized, and its photochromic and fluorescence properties were systematically investigated in both solution and a poly(metyl methacrylate) film. The diarylethene showed significant photochromism and notable fluorescence switching properties upon irradiation with ultraviolet/visible light. Compared with the parent diarylethene, introduction of the naphthalimide moiety was effective to increase the molar absorption coefficient, the fluorescence quantum yield, and fluorescent modulation efficiency of the diarylethene. 采用三维分子动力学模拟方法,以面心立方金属银为研究对象,基于Finnis-Sinclair型嵌入原子法(EAM)多体势,模拟研究了纳米线势能分布特征在常温下及其在不同温度直到熔化过程中的变化,给出了常温及不同温度银纳米线势能分布比例和势能分布函数.结果表明:常温下,纳米线高势能原子比例随纳米线横截面尺寸的减小而增大,势能分布函数曲线各峰位几乎与纳米线横截面尺寸无关;纳米线熔化前的势能分布函数曲线具有多个波峰,随着温度增加,峰数减少且峰位右移;熔化后,多峰特征消失,只有一个宽化的峰.  相似文献

Cytochrome c3 from Desulfovibrio vulgaris (Miyazaki F), a redox protein, contains four bis-histidine-coordinated hemes and has lower redox potential than other heme proteins. Direct electrochemical measurements of cytochrome c3 were carried out using a pyrolytic graphite edge (PGE) electrode. A low redox potential, already measured by redox titration, and a high redox potential (− 245 mV vs. Ag/AgCl) were observed at room temperature. The high redox potential of cytochrome c3 was similar to that observed for the loss of an axial ligand at heme. To investigate the loss of the histidine ligand, we explored the electrochemistry of four cytochrome c3 mutants, in which the sixth coordinated histidine was replaced by methionine. The electrochemistry of the cytochrome c3 mutants indicated that only Heme III undergoes loss of its axial histidine ligand.  相似文献

We present a branch-and-bound algorithm to minimize the weighted number of tardy jobs on either identical or non-identical processors. Bounds come from a surrogate relaxation resulting in a multiple-choice knapsack. Extensive computational experiments indicate problems with 400 jobs and several machines can be solved quickly. The photon Doppler velocimetry(PDV) spectrum is investigated in an attempt to reveal the particle parameters of ejecta from shock-loaded samples in a vacuum. A GPU-accelerated Monte–Carlo algorithm, which considers the multiplescattering effects of light, is applied to reconstruct the light field of the ejecta and simulate the corresponding PDV spectrum.The influence of the velocity profile, total area mass, and particle size of the ejecta on the simulated spectra is discussed qualitatively. To facilitate a quantitative discussion, a novel theoretical optical model is proposed in which the singlescattering assumption is applied. With this model, the relationships between the particle parameters of ejecta and the peak information of the PDV spectrum are derived, enabling direct extraction of the particle parameters from the PDV spectrum.The values of the ejecta parameters estimated from the experimental spectrum are in good agreement with those measured by a piezoelectric probe.  相似文献

The authors describe a voltammetric immunosensor with antibody immobilized on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with N-doped graphene (N-GS), electrodeposited gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and chitosan (Chit). The preparation is simple and the thickness of the electrodeposited films can be well controlled. Due to the specific advantages of N-GS, AuNPs and Chit, the electrode has a large specific surface, improved conductivity, high stability. A new label-free immunosensor for the model antigen (alpha fetoprotein, AFP) detection was then designed by employing N-GS-AuNP-Chit as the antibody immobilization and signal amplification platform. Differential pulse voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used for the characterization of the stepwise assembly process. Under the optimized conditions, at a typical working potential of +0.20 V (vs. SCE), and by using hexacyanoferrate as an electrochemical probe, the immunosensor has a detection limit as low as 1.6 pg mL?1 and a linear analytical range that extends from 5 pg mL?1 to 50 ng mL?1. AFP was quantified in spiked human serum samples with acceptable precision.
