The plasmon spectrum and the absorption of an electromagnetic wave in an electronic two-dimensional plasma with strongly modulated
density are studied. The appearance of additional plasmon modes in a system of electronic wires and islands with weak current
coupling is described in a model of an electronic system covered with metallic gates. Such plasmon modes appear in the low-frequency
region of the spectrum, as compared with the conventional plasma oscillations, and have recently been observed experimentally
in paired wires.

Experimental results and calculation data for the thermal conditions of the YAG:Er laser active element shaped as a flat plate under pumping by continuous radiation of a diode array (λ = 980 nm) with fiber output are presented. The thermal field and temperature in the plate optical excitation channel are measured using the thermal imaging technique. Their dependence on the pump power is studied. A comparison of calculated and experimental data allowed the determination of the heat transfer coefficient from the YAG:Er crystal to air under conditions of natural convection. 相似文献

4 as a host for neodymium has several advantages for diode pumping in comparison with other crystals. The absorption cross
section of neodymium in GdVO4 is considerably stronger and broader than in YAG. This allows for the construction of very compact monolithical microchip
lasers. In our paper, we report for the first time on a diode-pumped monolithical Nd3+([%at.]1.3):GdVO4 microchip laser at 1.06 μm. A maximum output power of 5 W is achieved. The temporal and the spectral emission properties
are described. The beam propagation properties are studied in detail.

This study investigates the effect of X-rays on potato tubers to stop their sprouting at different periods of storage. It has been found that there is a connection between the period of storage and the dose of irradiation. To control the quality of the irradiated tubers, the concentration of reducing sugars was measured during the entire experiment and compared to the parameters of non-irradiated potato tubers. 相似文献

Studies on the radiation treatment of fish products using an electron accelerator with an energy of 1 MeV were carried out. Here, we report the results of the effect of the beams of accelerated electrons with an energy of 1 MeV at the doses of 100 Gy, 1 kGy, and 5 kGy on the viability of bacteria in trout meat. Escherichia coli bacteria present in the fish homogenate were shown to be more resistant to the effect of ionizing radiation than the bacteria which were without a nutrient medium.

A model-independent approach is used to study annihilation of a lepton-antilepton pair in a magnetic field with production of massive scalar and pseudoscalar particles and radiation of massive spinless particles by a charged lepton in a magnetic field.
