In this paper, we report structural, morphological, electrical studies of copper iodide (CuI) thin films deposited onto glass substrates by chemical bath deposition (CBD) and successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) methods. CuI thin films were characterized for their structural, morphological and wettability studies by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), FT-Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), optical absorption, and contact angle measurement methods. Thickness of thin films was 1 ± 0.1 μm measured by gravimetric weight difference method. The CuI thin films were nanocrystalline, with average crystal size of ~60 nm. The FT-IR study confirmed the formation of CuI on the substrate surface. SEM images revealed the compact and cube like structure for CuI thin films deposited by CBD and SILAR methods, respectively. Optical absorption study revealed optical energy gaps as 2.3 and 3.0 eV for CBD and SILAR methods, respectively. Wettability study indicated that CuI thin films deposited by SILAR method are more hydrophobic as compared to CBD method.  相似文献

The sonocatalytic degradation of azo dyes; methyl orange (MO) and rhodamine B (RhB) were studied catalyzed by cadmium selenide (CdSe)-graphene in dark ambiance. The CdSe–graphene composites were prepared by simple hydrothermal method. The characterizations of composites were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), specific surface area (BET) and with energy dispersive X-ray (EDX). The UV-spectroscopic analysis of the dyes was done by measuring the change in absorbance. The degradation of the organic dyes was calculated based on the decrease in concentration of the dyes with respect to regular time intervals. The rate coefficients for the sonocatalytic process were successfully established and the reusability tests were done to test the stability of the used catalysts.  相似文献

o‐Aminothiophene dicarbonitrile 1 on neat reaction with cyclic ketones in anhydrous ZnCl2 yielded mixture of fused aminopyridine 3 and iminospirooxazine 4 derivatives. Similarly, pyrimidine derivatives 5 and 8 were obtained by the reaction of this intermediate 1 with formic acid and DMF‐DMA followed by hydrazine hydrate, respectively. The reaction of o‐amino‐thiophene dicarboxamide 2 at ambient temperature with cyclic ketones yielded spiropyrimidine 10 as a sole product in quantitative yield. The regioselective anellated pyrimidine 9 , 11 , and dihydropyrimidine 12 derivatives were also obtained by the reaction with aromatic aldehydes in presence of piperidine and iodine respectively. J. This work reports a cyanide-free continuous-flow process for cyanation of sp2 and sp carbons to synthesize aryl, vinyl and acetylenic nitriles from (5-methyl-2-phenyloxazol-4-yl) boronic acid [OxBA] reagent as a sole source of carbon-bound masked −CN source. Non-toxic and stable OxBA reagent is generated by lithiation-borylation of bromo-oxazole, and the consecutive Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling with aryl, vinyl, or acetylenic halides and demasking [4+2]/retro-[4+2] sequence were successfully accomplished to give the desired cyano compounds with reasonably good yields in a four-step flow manner. A unique feature of this cyanation protocol in flow enables to cyanate a variety of sp2 and sp carbons to produce a broad spectrum of aryl acetonitrile. It is envisaged that the OxBA based cyanation would replace existing unstable and toxic approaches as well as non-toxic cyanation using two different sources of “C” and “N” to incorporate the −CN group.  相似文献

The addition of foreign material to surfactants shows the change in temperature at which the clouding process occurs. This work evaluates the impact of n-alcohols on Cloud Point (CP) of nonionic surfactant Triton X-114 at variable concentrations. It was found that the CP of pure Triton X-114 shows concentration-dependent variation. The presence of lower alcohols improves CP value whereas the addition of higher alcohols brings down CP with variation as concentration increases. These effects can be clarified in view of the site of the impact of molecular design of added substances on the stability of micelle organization. The foaming ability and foam stability data are also used to discuss the stability of micellar accumulation. Considering CP as a threshold temperature of the solubility, the thermodynamic parameters of the clouding process ΔG0cl, ΔH0cl, and ΔS0cl, have been assessed, using the “Phase Separation Model”. The outcomes of the work demonstrate that the clouding phenomenon of Triton X-114 is an exothermic and non-spontaneous process.  相似文献
