Microstructural and magnetic changes induced by ball milling in Nd2Fe17 alloy have been investigated. X-ray and neutron powder diffraction studies have shown that the main crystalline phase present in the as-cast Nd2Fe17 compound is the rhombohedral Th2Zn17-type crystal structure. Contrary to other materials, the crystal structure does not change after milling, and the crystal lattice parameters slightly increases while the induced strain is less than 0.1%. It has been observed from SEM and TEM images that the microstructure consists of agglomerates of nanoparticles with a mean size around 20 nm, and from magnetic measurements a broadening of the temperature range in which ferromagnetic to paramagnetic transition takes place.  相似文献

We study isometric embeddings of a Euclidean space or a Heisenberg group into a higher dimensional Heisenberg group, where both the source and target space are equipped with an arbitrary left-invariant homogeneous distance that is not necessarily sub-Riemannian. We show that if all infinite geodesics in the target are straight lines, then such an embedding must be a homogeneous homomorphism. We discuss a necessary and certain sufficient conditions for the target space to have this ‘geodesic linearity property’, and we provide various examples.  相似文献

In this letter, we report on the development of a surface molecular sensor for the detection of acidity. Lithographically controlled wetting deposition has been applied to form the nanostructure of a new fluorescent compound with three protonation states featuring different optical properties on a glass substrate. Atomic force microscopy demonstrates the functionalization of the surface with ordered arrays of the sensor molecules. The fluorescence properties of the resulting nanopattern at different pH values have been investigated by confocal fluorescene microsopy, thus revealing the fast, sensitive, reversible response of the prepared nanosensor to gas flows of varying acidity.  相似文献

Neutron diffraction and X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) studies have been performed in La0.5Ca0.5MnO2.5, La0.5Sr0.5MnO2.5 and Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO2.5 oxygen-deficient perovskite compounds obtained by topotactic reduction. They all exhibit a brownmillerite structure with G-type antiferromagnetic ordering. Mn2+, Mn3+ and Mn4+ coexist at the octahedral sites, whereas only Mn2+ is placed in the tetrahedral positions. A magnetic moment of 1.6 microB has been detected at the tetrahedral layers, which can be explained by assuming Mn2+ is in a low-spin configuration.  相似文献

Extensive quantum real wave packet calculations within the helicity decoupling approximation are used to analyze the influence of the HF vibrational excitation on the K+HF(v=0-2,j=0)-->KF+H reaction. Quantum reaction probabilities P and reaction cross sections sigma are compared with corresponding quasiclassical trajectory (QCT) results. Disregarding threshold regions for v=0 and 1 (v=2 has no threshold), both approaches lead to remarkably similar results, particularly for sigma, validating the use of the QCT method for this system. When moving from v=0 to v=1 there is a large increase in P and sigma, as expected for a late barrier system. For v=2 the reaction becomes exoergic and P approximately 0.95 (with the exception of large total angular momenta where centrifugal barriers play a role). While substantial vibrational enhancement of the reactivity is thus seen, it is still quite less than that inferred from experimental data in the intermediate and high collision energy ranges. The origin of this discrepancy is unclear.  相似文献

The absorption spectra of the first electronic exited state of alkali metal atoms on helium nanodroplets formed of both 4He and 3He isotopes were studied experimentally as well as theoretically. In the experimental part new data on the 2p<--2s transition of lithium on 3He nanodroplets are presented. The absorption spectrum changes drastically when compared to 4He droplets, in contrast to sodium where only marginal differences were observed in former studies. To explain these large differences and to answer some still open questions concerning the interaction of alkali metal atoms with helium nanodroplets, a model calculation was performed. New helium density profiles as well as a refined model allowed us to achieve good agreement with the experimental findings. For the first time the red-shifted intensities in the lithium and sodium spectra are explained in terms of enhanced binding configurations in the excited state displaced spatially from the ground state configurations.  相似文献

The spheres can encapsulate combinations of active substances, such as organic dyes, magnetic nanoparticles, or luminescent quantum dots (see image), which results in spheres that are luminescent in the blue, green, and red regions of the spectrum.

Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) has been immobilized on the surface of functionalized nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) thin films. The structure of the modified NCD surface as well as the electrochemical behavior of the whole system was characterized by impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The proximity of HRP heme groups to the NCD surface allowed direct electron transfer between them, resulting in two separated one-electron-transfer peaks at 0.05 V and 0.29 V vs Ag/AgCl, corresponding to the cathodic and anodic process, respectively. The heterogeneous electron-transfer constant for both processes was calculated to be 0.066 s(-1), the charge-transfer coefficient alpha = 0.49, and the immobilized enzymatic layer about 2.10(-10) mol/cm2. The modified NCD electrode was used as a third-generation biosensor for hydrogen peroxide determination showing a linear response in the 0.1-45 mM H2O2 range, at +0.05 V vs Ag/AgCl.  相似文献
