Synthesis of heterocyclic systems with a carbohydrate fragment

Levoglucosenone reacts with α-aminoazoles to yield azolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine systems fused with a carbohydrate fragment. The reaction oocurs much more smoothly than in the case of other α,β-unsaturated ketones. The reactions of levoglucosenone with β-dicarbonyl compounds (dimedone, barbituric acid) in the presence of a base results in the pyran ring closure, which has never been observed earlier in reactions of β-dicarbonyl compounds with α,β-unsaturated ketones under the conditions of basic catalysis. Formation of a two-dimensional periodic structure of local melting regions on a silicon surface upon pulsed light irradiation

The first results regarding the formation of a two-dimensional periodic structure of local melting regions on a silicon surface upon pulsed light irradiation are presented. High quantum efficiency of intersubband transitions in coherent tunneling of electrons through asymmetric double-barrier structures

A converging perturbation series that can be summed analytically has been obtained for intersubband transitions of electrons coherently tunneling through the middle of a dimensionally quantized level in an asymmetric double-barrier structure in a high-frequency terahertz electric field. The possibility of a substantial increase in tunneling current accompanied by either absorption or emission of a photon has been demonstrated. The quantum efficiency of radiative transitions between dimensionally quantized levels can be up to 66%. Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 112, 237–245 (July 1997)     

溶胶-凝胶制备技术与新型催化材料Ⅲ.溶胶粒子表面修饰方法制备催化膜

提出用溶胶粒子表面修饰方法，结合溶胶凝胶技术制备无机催化膜．该方法的基本原理是利用合适的金属配合物在胶粒表面的吸附作用，经溶胶凝胶过程，将活性组分结合到无机膜中．实验测定结果表明：（ＮｉＥＤＴＡ）２－，ＶＯ－３，ＭｏＯ２－４，（Ｐｄ（ＮＨ３）４）２＋，ＰｄＣｌ２－４，ＰｔＣｌ２－６和ＲｈＣｌ３－６可用来修饰ＡｌＯＯＨ溶胶．以Ｐｄ／γＡｌ２Ｏ３催化膜的制备为例，经三次溶胶凝胶过程，可制得无裂缺的厚度为９μｍ的Ｐｄ／γＡｌ２Ｏ３催化膜，膜材料的平均孔直径为６ｎｍ，Ｐｄ被均匀地分布在膜的顶层，其平均粒径为２３ｎｍ．     

The stress-deformed state of a packet of cylindrical shells taking account of friction

We propose a method of determining the contact pressures between the shells in a packet under the influence of nonlinear internal and constant external pressure. Using the equations of the general moment theory of shells we determine the stress-deformed state of a packet of finite cylindrical shells taking account of frictional forces on the contacting surfaces. Interaction of 4-aminobenzofurazan with aryldiazonium salts

The reaction of 4-aminobenzofurazan with aryldiazonium salts leads to the formation of 4-amino-5-aryl-azobenzofurazans and 5-amino-2-aryl-4-nitroso-2H-benzotriazoles, products of the rearrangement of the initially formed 4-amino-7-(arylazo)benzofurazans. Oxidation of the benzofurazan as well as of the triazole derivatives gives 7-aryl-1,2,3-triazol[4,5-e]benzofurazans. Hydroxyl-containing mesogens. Synthesis and liquid-crystalline properties of 2-o-hydroxyarylpyrimidines

We have synthesized 5-alkyl(alkoxy)-2-(o-lzydroxy-p-alkoxyphenyl)pyrimidines and considered the effect of the OH group on the inesomorphism. Electrohydraulic effect in heterodisperse water-plant systems. II. Chemical nature of the suspended particles

On the basis of the results of acid hydrolysis, chromatographic analysis of the hydrolysates, and a study of IR spectra, it has been established that the suspended particles liberated under the action of electrohydraulic shocks on heterodisperse water—plant systems consist of small fragments of the lignocarbohydrate complex of the plant tissue.     

Lipids of cottonseed and palm oils and compositions based on them

The phsicochemical indices and the fatty-acid and triacylglycerol compositions of cottonseed and palm oils, of cottonseed oil hydrogenate, and of compositions based on them have been determined with the aid of IR and UV spectroscopies, GLC analysis, and chemical transformations. The compositions and amounts of the main classes of lipids in the initial oils and the hydrogenate have been studied. It has been found that in the process of hydrogenation the amount of oxygenated components falls. The work was conducted with the financial support of the Uzbek Fund for Fundamental Investigations.
