We report on a tapping-mode tuning fork with a short fibre probe sensor for a near-field scanning optical microscope.The method demonstrates how to fabricate the short fibre probe.This tapping-mode tuning fork with a short fibre probe can provide stable and high Q at the tapping frequency of the tuning fork,and can give high-quality near-field scanning optical microscope and atomic force microscope images of samples.We present the results of using the tapping-mode tuning fork with a short fibre probe sensor for a near-field scanning optical microscope performed on an eight-channel silica waveguide. 相似文献

We theoretically analyse the temperature effects on a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor in Kretschmann configuration. The temperature effects include the thermo-optic effect and the dispersion of thermal-optic coefficient in the dielectric along with the thermal expansion effect, phonon-electron scattering and electron-electron scattering in the metal layer. We simulate the temperature dependence of the resonance position and the sensitivity of the SPR sensor under wavelength-interrogation and angular-interrogation mode of operation and the differences are pointed out in the two modes. 相似文献

Based on the rigorous coupled-wave analysis algorithm, we have systematically analysed the effect of the geometrical parameters of a dielectric film coated metallic grating with subwavelength slits on extraordinary optical transmission for s-polarization illumination. Results show that the dielectric film which sustains a waveguide electromagnetic mode on the top of the metallic lamellar grating can strongly enhance the transmittance, the positions of the transmission peaks are mainly determined by the period of the metallic grating, the thickness and refractive index of the dielectric film. This structure shows potential applications in excellent polarizers or polarization-isotropic devices at infrared spectral range by appropriately choosing the geometrical parameters. 相似文献

An ultra-low specific on-resistance trench gate vertical double-diffused metal-oxide semiconductor with a high-k dielectric-filled extended trench(HK TG VDMOS) is proposed in this paper.The HK TG VDMOS features a high-k(HK) trench below the trench gate.Firstly,the extended HK trench not only causes an assistant depletion of the n-drift region,but also optimizes the electric field,which therefore reduces Ron,sp and increases the breakdown voltage(BV).Secondly,the extended HK trench weakens the sensitivity of BV to the n-drift doping concentration.Thirdly,compared with the superjunction(SJ) vertical double-diffused metal-oxide semiconductor(VDMOS),the new device is simplified in fabrication by etching and filling the extended trench.The HK TG VDMOS with BV = 172 V and Ron,sp = 0.85 mΩ·cm2 is obtained by simulation;its Ron,sp is reduced by 67% and 40% and its BV is increased by about 15% and 5%,in comparison with those of the conventional trench gate VDMOS(TG VDMOS) and conventional superjunction trench gate VDMOS(SJ TG CDMOS). 相似文献

A multimode fiber-optic surface plasmon resonance(SPR) sensor with a MgF2 film as a modulated layer is studied.The fiber-optic SPR sensor is investigated theoretically,specifically the influence of the dielectric protecting layer,using a four-layer model.The sensor is then fabricated with the optimal parameters suggested by the theoretical simulation.The sensor has a high sensitivity in the analyte refractive index(RI) range of 1.33-1.40.The best sensitivity of 4 464 nm/RIU is achieved in the experiment.The use of dielectric film(MgF2) can not only modulate the resonance wavelength of the sensor,but also protect the silver film from oxidation. 相似文献
