Thin film composite (TFC) membranes based polyamide were prepared with m-phenylenediamine (MPD), m-phenylenediamine-5-sulfonic acid (SMPD) and trimesoyl chloride (TMC) through interfacial polymerization technique on the polysulphone supporting film. The membranes were characterized using permeation experiments with salt water, attenuated total reflectance infrared (ATR-IR) and X-ray photoelectronic spectroscopy (XPS) as well as scanning electronic microscopy (SEM). This study has shown that the active layer of TFC membrane is aromatic polyamide, including sulfuric acid function group (-SO3H) according to the result of ATR-IR and XPS. The NaCl rejection of RO membranes decreased and the flux increased when WSMPD/WMPD increased from 0 to 1, and the linear part with pendant -COOH in membrane barrier layer increased with the increase of SMPD content, but the surface of membrane becoming smoother and smoother with the increase of SMPD content. So the membranes performance mainly was determined by chemical structure in their barrier layer.  相似文献

From Juglans mandshurica leaves, a new quinone compound was isolated through bioassay-guided fractionation. The structure elucidation of the compound was established based on spectroscopic studies, notably of the 2D NMR spectra. The compound exhibited moderate cytotoxic activities against Hela, MCF-7, BGC823 and 3T3-Llcell lines with IC50 ranges from 7.5 to 26.8 μmol/L.  相似文献

Silver and gold organosols are easily prepared by transferring nanoparticles from aqueous phase into isooctane with high efficiency (>90%). Concentrations of sodium oleate and magnesium chloride have crucial effects on the transfer efficiency. Based on the UV-visible absorption spectra, TEM micrographs of nanoparticles, as well as molecular modeling calculation about the adsorption conformation of sodium oleate molecules, a possible phase transfer mechanism is proposed.  相似文献

CO2 molecule chemisorbs selectively on the zigzag tube edge without an activation barrier, whereas it physisorbs on the armchair edge of nanotubes. In addition, carbon nanotubes can be etched by an adsorbed oxygen atom of CO2 molecule. The effective vibronic Hamiltonian for a linear tetra-atomic molecule in a Pi state has been investigated. In addition to the usual vibrational and Renner-Teller coupling terms, the bending mode anharmonicity, spin-orbit coupling, and Fermi resonance interactions have been added to the model. Terms in the Hamiltonian up to the fourth order are given explicitly for molecules of C(infinityupsilon) symmetry and simplifications for symmetric D(infinityh) molecules are discussed. The matrix elements for the HCCS free radical have been obtained and are used to analyze the observed ground-state levels of HCCS and DCCS in a companion paper. The Sears resonance vibronic interaction that couples levels with the selection rules DeltaK=+/-1, DeltaSigma=-/+1, and DeltaP=0 has also been studied and the matrix elements derived. The determinable combinations of signs for the major parameters in the model are discussed.  相似文献

The catalytic efficiency of adenylyl cyclase activity of edema factor (EF) from Bacillus anthracis is enhanced by approximately 1000-fold upon its binding to mammalian protein calmodulin (CaM). A tandem cell-based and protein binding-based screen of a 10,000 member library identified a molecule that inhibits the EF-CaM interaction and therefore the adenylyl cyclase activity. A combination of fluorescence spectroscopy and photolabeling studies showed that the molecule targets the CaM binding region of EF. A series of related compounds were synthesized and evaluated to identify one compound, 4-[4-(4-nitrophenyl)-thiazolylamino]-benzenesulfonamide, that maintained activity against EF but showed minimal toxicity to two cultured cell lines. This compound represents an important reagent to study the role of EF in anthrax pathology and may represent a drug lead against anthrax infection.  相似文献
