A facile one‐pot, three‐component protocol for the synthesis of novel spiro[3H‐indole‐3,2′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′(1H)‐diones by condensing 1H‐indole‐2,3‐diones, 4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐amine and 2‐sulfanylpropanoic acid in [bmim]PF6 (1‐butyl‐3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate) as a recyclable ionic‐liquid solvent gave good to excellent yields in the absence of any catalyst (Scheme 1 and Table 2). The advantages of this protocol over conventional methods are the mild reaction conditions, the high product yields, a shorter reaction time, as well as the eco‐friendly conditions.  相似文献

Aqueous solution of potassium persulfate converts water-insoluble carboxylic acids in ether (or dichloromethane), to peracids in a yield of 80–90% under the catalytic influence of benzyltriethylammonium chloride (BTEAC) or polyethyleneglycol (PEG-400). The reaction of 1H‐indol‐2,3‐diones with 1,6‐dibromohexane has resulted in the formation of new 1H‐indol‐2,3‐diones‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis in quantitative yields. These compounds have been used for the synthesis of novel [3′‐(2,3‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐3‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl)spiro[3H‐indol‐3,2′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′‐dione]‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis via bis Schiff's bases, [3‐(2,3‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐3‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl) imino‐1H‐indol‐2‐one]‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis.  相似文献

The chromone alkaloid dysoline (1), a new regioisomer of rohitukine (2) along with rohitukine and rohitukine-N-oxide (3) were isolated from the stem barks of Dysoxylum binectariferum. The structure of dysoline (1) was determined by extensive 2D-NMR studies and the absolute configuration was established by NOESY and CD spectra. Dysoline (1) consisted of a 5,7-dihydroxy-2-methylchromone nucleus substituted with a 2′-hydroxylated N-Me piperidine ring at the C-6 position. Dysoline differs from rohitukine by the position of the piperidine ring on the chromone nucleus. Dysoline displayed promising cytotoxicity in HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells with an IC50 of 0.21 μM, and also displayed significant inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6.  相似文献

This article looks at atomic force microscopy as an important aid to characterize the self-nanoemulsifying formulation of glibenclamide, lovastatin, and carvedilol in conjunction with other sophisticated technique, viz., transmission electron microscopy and photon correlation spectroscopy. Sizes obtained by processing the atomic force microscopy (AFM) image are comparable with those obtained from transmission electron microscope. Although in the present study, the mean particle size obtained from photon correlation spectroscopy does not correlate to the findings of atomic force microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, but the poly-disperse index values correlate well with the findings of AFM and transmission electron microscopy where uniform particle size was observed in aqueous dispersion of self-nanoemulsifying formulation of glibenclamide, lovastatin, and carvedilol.  相似文献

The dynamics of morphological transition in amphiphillic systems such as self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) has become an increasingly active field of research in colloidal science. The present contribution deals with the morphological transition of selected optimized SNEDDS formulations of glibenclamide, carvedilol, and lovastatin on progressive aqueous dilution using transmission electron microscopy. The study emphasizes the structural aspects of the systems and stresses the effect of aqueous dilution under which the systems transform from water-in-oil (L2) phase into bicontinuous structure and, finally, in oil-in-water (L1) nanodroplets.  相似文献

A technique which combines image analysis and polarising optical microscope (POM) is a useful tool for the physical investigation of discotic liquid crystals, such as hexabutoxytriphenylene and hexahexyloxytriphenylene. This investigation includes the phase transitions, optical properties and order parameter as a function of temperature. Textures of discotic liquid crystals are captured as a function of temperature using POM. These microscopic textures are analysed using MATLAB software to compute statistical parameters, Legendre moments, optical parameters and order parameters of discotic liquid crystal samples. Compared with other techniques in the literature, the proposed methodology is a reliable and very simple technique for the physical investigation of liquid crystals.  相似文献

Abstract

The director distribution in a supertwist nematic cell, containing La-Roche liquid crystal mixture 3010, has been studied extensively using Berreman's computer simulation approach. It is seen that the director distribution in the cell depends critically on the total twist angle θt, the surface tilt angle θo and the ratio of the cell thickness to the pitch d/p. The values of θo and φt have been optimized to yield a small bistability (ΔV = 0.06 V) and a relatively large change in the midplane tilt angle (Δθm = 51°) in an unstrained cell with ?t = (d/p) × 360°. The optimum values of θo and Øt were found to be 15° and 240°, respectively. The effect of varying d/p on the director distribution has also been studied in great detail in supertwist cells with θo = 30° and Øt = 270°. Some interesting features in understrained and overstrained cells have been observed.  相似文献

Three banana‐shaped monomers, i.e. 2,7‐naphthalene bis[4‐(4‐allyloxyphenylazo)‐benzoate], 2,7‐naphthalene bis[4‐(4‐allyloxy‐3‐fluorophenylazo)benzoate] and 2,7‐naphthalene bis{4‐[4‐(10‐undecenyloxy)phenylazo]benzoate}, containing azobenzene as side arms, 2,7‐dihydroxynaphthalene as central units and terminal double bonds as polymerisable functional groups, were synthesised and their mesophase behaviour investigated. Polarizing optical microscopy and DSC measurements reveal that all compounds exhibit nematic mesophases. The absorption spectrum of the trans‐azobenzene groups displays a high‐intensity π–π* transition at about 365 nm and a low‐intensity n–π* transition at around 450 nm for all compounds. Hence, photochromism can be achieved by the introduction of the azo linkage to banana‐shaped liquid crystals molecules.  相似文献
