In this study, the synthesis of barium metaborate powder (BaB2O4) was carried out by ultrasound-assisted precipitation using different borate solutions. Different solutions such as borax (Na2B4O7, BD), boric acid (H3BO3, BA), and sodium metaborate (NaBO2, SMB) were used in the synthesis and an ultrasonic immersion horn probe was used as the major source of ultrasound. The effect of reaction temperature and time, pH, and crystallization time on the BaB2O4 yield (%) was investigated. The ultrasound-assisted synthesis up to 90 % yield could be achieved using a 0.2 M BD solution at 80 °C, reacting for 5 min at pH 13 followed by 2 h of crystallization. Following crystallization, the obtained powder was heated up to 140, 250, 650, and 750 °C for 2.5 h, and it was shown that β-BaB2O4 nanometric powders were obtained after the 750 °C heat treatment.  相似文献

The incorporation of impurity ions or doping is a promising method for controlling the electronic and optical properties and the structural stability of halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs). Herein, we establish relationships between rare-earth ions doping and intrinsic emission of lead-free double perovskite Cs2AgInCl6 NCs to impart and tune the optical performances in the visible light region. Tb3+ ions were incorporated into Cs2AgInCl6 NCs and occupied In3+ sites as verified by both crystallographic analyses and first-principles calculations. Trace amounts of Bi doping endowed the characteristic emission (5D47F6-3) of Tb3+ ions with a new excitation peak at 368 nm rather than the single characteristic excitation at 290 nm of Tb3+. By controlling Tb3+ ions concentration, the emission colors of Bi-doped Cs2Ag(In1−xTbx)Cl6 NCs could be continuously tuned from green to orange, through the efficient energy-transfer channel from self-trapped excitons to Tb3+ ions. Our study provides the salient features of the material design of lead-free perovskite NCs and to expand their luminescence applications.  相似文献

The paper presents construction and principle of operation of passive IR detectors (PIR detectors) of a large detection range. Important virtue of these detectors is highly efficient detection of slowly moving or crawling people. The described here PIR detector detects crawling people at the distance of 140 m. To ensure high probability of detection of slowly moving objects, new method of signals analysis was applied. On the basis of the carried out real-time measurements, both probability of detection and false alarms were determined.  相似文献

We have prepared pure electrolytes of Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9 (CGO) and Ce0.8Sm0.2O1.9 (CSO), useful for SOFCs, by a sol–gel-related technique like the acrylamide method. This method consists of preparing a solution from the single oxides followed by gelation. Then, the combustion or decomposition of the organic molecules is initiated, producing nanometric calcined powders of the above-mentioned compounds. Thermal treatments were optimized in order to obtain good electrochemical properties of the electrolytes. We have observed that the synthesis temperature to obtain the pure phase is lower for the sol–gel samples than for the pellets prepared by solid-state reaction, and the final density is higher. The microstructure and composition of the powders were characterized by TEM, SEM, and EDX analysis. Monosized poly(styrene/N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]methacrylamide/poly(ethylene glycol) ethyl ether methacrylate) [poly(St/PEG-EEM/DMAPM)] cationic nanoparticles were synthesized by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization conducted in the presence of a cationic initiator, 2,2-azobis(2-methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride (APDH or V-50). Particle sizes and surface charge densities were measured with a Zeta Sizer. The structure of the terpolymers was determined by Fourier transform IR and 1H NMR spectroscopies. The amounts of the main monomer (St), cationic comonomer (DMAPM), stabilizer (PEG-EEM), and initiator (APDH), and the water-to-monomer phase ratio were all effective on both the average size and the surface charge of the nanoparicles. The average particle size was in the range 75–400 nm depending on the recipe applied; it decreased on increasing the amount of DMAP or PEG-EEM or the water-to-monomer phase ratio in the feed, while it increased with increasing St or APDH content. These nanoparticles were quite monodisperse with a polydispersity index of 1.008–1.14.  相似文献

Using a density functional method, we investigate the properties of liquid 4He droplets doped with atoms (Ne and Xe) and molecules ( SF6 and hydrogen cyanide). We consider the case of droplets having a quantized vortex pinned to the dopant. A liquid-drop formula is proposed that accurately describes the total energy of the complex and allows one to extrapolate the density functional results to large N. For a given impurity, we find that the formation of a dopant+vortex+(4)He(N) complex is energetically favored below a critical size N(cr). Our results support the possibility to observe quantized vortices in helium droplets by means of spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献
