冲蚀过程是一个与颗粒反复冲击物体表面而移除物质相关的表面现象．本文研究了玻璃的冲蚀坑的几何尺寸和体积，给出了冲蚀移除物质如何依赖于颗粒流动速度、颗粒尺寸和冲击角的理论关系．通过理论与实验结果相比较，定义了一定冲蚀坑尺度的有效域．     

Liminf results on the increments of an (N,d)-Gaussian process

We establish some liminf theorems on the increments of a (N,d)-Gaussian process with the usual Euclidean norm, via estimating upper bounds of large deviation probabilities on the suprema of the (N,d)-Gaussian process. Optical characterization of bromo-alkoxyl-substituted copper phthalocyanine derivative thin films

A series of thin films of copper phthalocyanine derivatives with bromine and alkoxyl substituents [CuPc(OC₈H₁₇)₄Br_m, m=0,1,2,4] were prepared on single-crystal silicon substrates by spin coating. The ellipsometric spectra of the films have been studied on a rotating analyzer–polarizer type of scanning ellipsometer. The optical, dielectric constants and absorption coefficients of the films in 500–800 nm wavelength region were obtained. The results show that the complex refractive index, dielectric constants and absorption coefficient of these thin films are influenced regularly by bromine substituent on conjugated macrocycle. It was found that there are approximately linear relationships between the resonance absorption wavelengths of the films and the average number of bromine atoms substituted on the phthalocyanine ring.     

Consequences of weak absorption in light heavy-ion reactions: Molecular resonances and nuclear rainbows

In the elastic angular distributions of the systems composed of tightly bound α-nuclei, ¹²C+¹²C, ¹⁶O+¹⁶O and ¹⁶O+¹²C, the higher-order Airy minima are observed in the energy region between 5 and 10 MeV per nucleon. The obtained optical potentials are deeply attractive and with incomplete absorption. The same potentials successfully describe the lower-energy (molecular resonances) and the higher-energy (first Airy minimum) data.     

Microwave‐improved polymerization of ϵ‐caprolactone initiated by carboxylic acids

The ring‐opening polymerization of ε‐caprolactone (ε‐CL), initiated by carboxylic acids such as benzoic acid and chlorinated acetic acids under microwave irradiation, was investigated; with this method, no metal catalyst was necessary. The product was characterized as poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) by ¹H NMR spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, and gel permeation chromatography. The polymerization was significantly improved under microwave irradiation. The weight‐average molecular weight (M_w) of PCL reached 44,800 g/mol, with a polydispersity index [weight‐average molecular weight/number‐average molecular weight (M_w/M_n)] of 1.6, when a mixture of ε‐CL and benzoic acid (25/1 molar ratio) was irradiated at 680 W for 240 min, whereas PCL with M_w = 12,100 and M_w/M_n = 4.2 was obtained from the same mixture by a conventional heating method at 210 °C for 240 min. A degradation of the resultant PCL was observed during microwave polymerization with chlorinated acetic acids as initiators, and this induced a decrease in M_w of PCL. Feature of the magnetotransport of a quasi-one-dimensional electrons on the superfluid helium

The magnetotransport in a nondegenerate quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) electron system over superfluid helium has been investigated experimentally. The measurements are performed in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field B up to 2.6 T in the temperature range T=0.48–2.05 K in the system of conducting channels of 100–400 nm width. It is shown that the value of longitudinal magnetoresistance ρ_xx increases with B. In the electron-gas scattering region (T>0.9 ), the behaviour of ρ_xx agrees with classical Drude law. In the quantum transport regime, the self-consistent Born approximation (SCBA) theory for a 2D electron system over liquid helium describes the experimental data qualitatively. The deviation due to the difference of the experimentally studied Q1D system of the electrons in a parabolic potential well differs from theoretically analysed one. The experimental data agree with the theoretical calculation for the Q1D electron system at the weak magnetic field and the low temperature.

The negative magnetoresistance of the conducting channels has been observed in both the gas- and the ripplon-scattering region. These effects have been explained by weak carrier localization on the gas atoms at high temperature and by display of the quantum magnetotransport features in a mesoscopic system at low temperature.     

Synthesis and crystal structure of the octahedral cluster complex [Th(DMSO)8Cl][Re6Se7Cl7]

A cluster complex of the composition [Th(DMSO)₈Cl][Re₆Se₇Cl₇] has been obtained by interaction of ThCl₄ solution in DMSO with a water solution of K₃[Re₆Se₇Cl₇] and KCl. The compound crystallizes in the rhombic space group Pbcm with unit cell parameters a = 12.262(2) Å, b = 19.653(6) Å, c = 23.603(6) Å, V = 5688(2) ų, Z = 4, d _calc = 3.282 g/cm³. The structure is built from centrosymmetric cluster anions [Re₆Se₇Cl₇]^3? and complex cations [Th(DMSO)₈Cl]³⁺ possessing mirror-plane symmetry, half of the DMSO ligands being doubly disordered.
