The asymptotic iteration method is used to find exact and approximate solutions of Schrödinger’s equation for a number of one-dimensional trigonometric potentials (sine-squared, double-cosine, tangent-squared, and complex cotangent). Analytic and approximate solutions are obtained by first using a coordinate transformation to reduce the Schrödinger equation to a second-order differential equation with an appropriate form. The asymptotic iteration method is also employed indirectly to obtain the terms in perturbation expansions, both for the energies and for the corresponding eigenfunctions. 相似文献

In this work, we consider the problem of a half space in the context of the theory of generalized thermoelasticity with one relaxation time. Realistically, the boundary conditions of the problem are considered to be stochastic. Laplace transform technique is used to solve the problem. The boundary conditions are considered to be of a type white noise. The inverse transforms are obtained in an approximate manner using asymptotic expansions valid for small values of time. Effect of operational parameters on degradation of Malachite Green by ultrasonic irradiation 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The aim of the present study was to apply ultrasonic technique to remove Malachite Oxalate Green (MG) from aqueous solution. An ultrasonic bath with frequency of 35 kHz was used to investigate the effect of different operational parameters such as MG concentration, power density, temperature, mechanical agitation and addition of EtOH, 2-PrOH and iso-BuOH. Decolorization of MG follows a first order kinetics and hydroxyl radicals have an important role in degradation of MG. The apparent reaction rate constant (k(ap)) was influenced by variation of operational parameters. The activation energy was 30.95 kJ/mol in temperature range of 21-34 degrees C, suggesting a diffusion-controlled reaction. Alcohols act as hydroxyl radicals scavengers having undesirable contribution. UV-vis spectral change of MG showed hypsochromic shift occurred with increasing sonication time, proposing N-demethylation process of MG. 相似文献

Phenacylbromide derivatives constitute a multilateral group of precursors for the synthesis of numerous heterocycles of organic compounds. Briefly, 5‐(2‐bromo‐acetyl)‐substituted‐thiophene derivative has been used as a synthon for synthesis of new thiophene‐containing compounds through the reaction with nucleophilic nitrogen compounds and thioamides. The suggested structures of the newly synthesized thiophene compounds were confirmed and assured with different spectroscopic tools and with CHN elemental analysis. Additionally, the antimicrobial activity of these thiophene compounds was recorded to investigate their potency against various types of bacteria and fungi. Results showed that these compounds exhibit significant inhibitory activity against the growth of tested bacterial and fungal strains and that some derivatives were more potent than the employed reference drugs. 相似文献

A model of two 2-level atoms interacts with a single quantized electromagnetic field is considered. We study the effect of
the mean photon number and the structure of the initial states of the two atoms on the dynamics of the atomic system from
the separability point of view. It is found that, if we start from a product mixed atomic state, the probability of generating
long living entangled states is increased as the mean photon number increases. Starting from excited atomic system in product
state, one generates a more stable entangled states with high degree of entanglement. Also, the effect of the mean photon
number on atomic system prepared initially in entangled states is investigated. It is found that the entangled state generated
from the initially partial entangled states are more robust than those obtained from a maximum entangled state. The Pancharatnam
phase for the separable and entangled states is studied under the effect of the mean photon number and the structure of the
initial state. We find that for the separable states, the collapses decrease and the amplitude of the revivals is smaller
than that for the entangled state, so there are long-living entangled phases. This property give us a great chances to store

Medicago sativa Linn growing in Omani desert were chemically characterised using flame photometry, inductively coupled plasma, gas chromatography–mass spectrometry and high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) analysis. HPLC analyses were performed to determine the phenolics and flavonoids present in M. sativa. The major compounds detected in M. sativa leaves were protchaechenic acid (3.22%), hydroxyl benzoic acid (1.05%), β-Phenyl caffate (0.97%) and kaempherol (0.89%). The purpose of this note is to investigate the stabilization of the wave equation with Kelvin–Voigt damping in a bounded domain. Damping is localized via a non-smooth coefficient in a suitable subdomain. We prove a polynomial stability result in any space dimension, provided that the damping region satisfies some geometric conditions. The main novelty of this note is that the geometric situations covered here are richer than that considered in [25], [22], [16] and include in particular an example where the damping region is not localized in a neighborhood of the whole or a part of the boundary. 相似文献

A multi-stream Flamelet Progress Variable (FPV) model, specifically developed for coal combustion, is proposed. The model accounts for the different fuel streams associated with the volatile and char burnout products. The applicability of the new FPV model is investigated in a laminar stagnation pulverized coal flame. The flame considered is a premixed mixture of CH4, O2 and N2, carrying pulverized coal particles, stabilized in an impinging wall. Spontaneous emissions of OH*, CH* and C are measured to identify the flame. The 1D numerical simulations of the experimental conditions are able to reproduce the main features of the flame. The applicability of the multi-stream FPV model to coal combustion is further evaluated with the a posteriori analysis of the FPV results, comparing the results with a reference model, where the species are fully transported and the chemistry directly evaluated. Then, with the budget analysis, the influence of the control variables used to build the look-up table is assessed by examining the conditional contributions to the overall transport terms of scalar quantities (e.g. species, temperature). The results of both analyses show that the proposed multi-stream FPV model can accurately predict the main features of coal combustion, with only minor issues related to the manifold used to build the look-up table. 相似文献
