The independent isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb from the natMo(γ, pxn) reactions with bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 45, 50, 55, 60, and 70 MeV were determined by an activation and an off-line γ-ray spectrometric technique at the Pohang accelerator laboratory (PAL), Korea. The isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb from the natZr(p, xn) reactions were also determined in eight different proton energies within 19.4–44.7 MeV by a stacked-foil activation and an off-line γ-ray spectrometric technique using the MC-50 cyclotron of Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences (KIRAMS), Korea. The measured isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb from the present work and the literature data in the natMo(γ, pxn) and natZr(p, xn) reactions were compared with the similar literature data in the natMo(p, αxn) reactions. It was found that the isomeric yield ratio of 95m,gNb increases with projectile energy, which indicate the effect of excitation energy. However, at the same excitation energy, the isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb in the natZr(p, xn) and natMo(p, αxn) reactions are higher than those in the natMo(γ, pxn) reaction, which indicates the role of input angular momentum. The isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb in the natMo(γ, pxn), natZr(p, xn), and natMo(p, αxn) reactions were also calculated using computer code TALYS 1.4. The calculated isomeric yield ratios of 95m,gNb from three reactions increase with excitation energy. However, in all the three reactions, the calculated values are significantly higher than the experimental data.  相似文献

In contrast to the approach of coupling a nonlinear oscillator that represents the lift force with the cylinder’s equation of motion to predict the amplitude of vortex-induced vibrations, we propose and show that the displacement can be directly predicted by a nonlinear oscillator without a need for a force model. The advantages of the latter approach include reducing the number of equations and, subsequently, the number of coefficients to be identified to predict displacements associated with vortex-induced vibrations. The implemented single-equation model is based on phenomenological representation of different components of the transverse force as required to initiate the vibrations and to limit their amplitude. Three different representations for specific flow and cylinder parameters yielding synchronization for Reynolds numbers between 104 and 114 are considered. The method of multiple scales is combined with data from direct numerical simulations to identify the parameters of the proposed models. The variations in these parameters with the Reynolds number, reduced velocity or force coefficient over the synchronization regime are determined. The predicted steady-state amplitudes are validated against those obtained from high-fidelity numerical simulations. The capability of the proposed models in assessing the performance of linear feedback control strategy in reducing the vibrations amplitude is validated with performance as determined from numerical simulations.

Reactive dyes are vastly used in dyeing and printing of cotton fibre. These dyes have a distinctive reactive nature due to active groups which form covalent bonds with -OH groups of cotton through substitution and/or addition mechanism. Among many methods used for dyeing cotton with reactive dyes, the Cold Pad Batch (CPB) method is relatively more environment friendly due to high dye fixation and non requirement of thermal energy. The dyed fabric production rate is low due to requirement of at least twelve hours batching time for dye fixation. The proposed CPB method for dyeing cotton involves ultrasonic energy resulting into a one third decrease in batching time. The dyeing of cotton fibre was carried out with CI reactive red 195 and CI reactive black 5 by conventional and ultrasonic (US) method. The study showed that the use of ultrasonic energy not only shortens the batching time but the alkalis concentrations can considerably be reduced. In this case, the colour strength (K/S) and dye fixation (%F) also enhances without any adverse effect on colour fastness of the dyed fabric. The appearance of dyed fibre surface using scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed relative straightening of fibre convolutions and significant swelling of the fibre upon ultrasonic application. The total colour difference values ΔE (CMC) for the proposed method, were found within close proximity to the conventionally dyed sample.  相似文献

This paper investigates the properties of displacement sensors based on polyaniline (PANI) films. About 1 wt% of PANI micropowder is mixed and stirred in a solution of 90 wt% water and 10 wt% alcohol at room temperature. The films of PANI are deposited from solution by drop-casting on Ag electrodes,which are preliminary deposited on glass substrates. The thicknesses of the PANI films are in the range of 20 μm-80 μm. A displacement sensor with polyaniline film as an active material is designed and fabricated. The investigations showed that,on average,the AC resistance of the sensor decreases by 2 times and the capacitance accordingly increases by 1.6 times as the displacement changes in the range of 0 mm-0.5 mm. The polyaniline is the only active material of the displacement sensor. The resistance and capacitance of the PANI changes under the pressure of spring and elastic rubber,and this pressure is created by the downward movement of the micrometer.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the effects of detuning on the velocity selection for ultracold three-level atoms in Λ configuration using mazer action. We find sharp resonances in the transmission probability with respect to the detuning. Our results show that the velocity selection of ultracold atoms can easily be tuned and enhanced using off-resonant field in a bimodal cavity.  相似文献

The propagation of Dyakonov-Tamm waves guided by a phase-twist combination defect in a sculptured nematic thin film (SNTF) was studied theoretically by numerical solution of a dispersion equation. The phase defect was fixed at 180°, whereas the twist defect was kept variable as also the direction of propagation. Multiple Dyakonov-Tamm waves that differ in spatial profile, degree of localization, and phase speed were found to propagate guided by the combination defect, depending on the angle between the morphologically significant planes of the SNTF on either side of the defect as well as on the direction of propagation. The most strongly localized Dyakonov-Tamm waves turned out to be essentially confined within one structural period of the SNTF normal to the combination defect.  相似文献

The excitation of multiple surface-plasmon-polariton (SPP) waves—of different linear polarization states, phase speeds and spatial profiles—guided by the interface of a metal film and a rugate filter in the Kretschmann configuration was investigated. A plane wave of either of the two linear polarization states was made incident on the metal-capped rugate filter of finite thickness and the absorptances were calculated using a stable algorithm. The excitation of SPP waves was inferred by the presence of those peaks in the absorptance curves that were independent of the thickness of the rugate filter. The absorptance peaks representing the excitation of s-polarized SPP waves are narrower than those representing p-polarized SPP waves. For efficient excitation of multiple SPP waves, the metal film's thickness should be close to the penetration depth of the metal. The solution of a canonical boundary-value problem of SPP-wave propagation guided by a metal film, with a semi-infinite homogeneous dielectric material on one side and a semi-infinite rugate filter on the other side, reinforced the results obtained for the Kretschmann configuration. The thin metal film in the Kretschmann configuration may lead to coupling of its two interfaces.  相似文献

Proper cell-cell communication through physical contact is crucial for a range of fundamental biological processes including, cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, and apoptosis and for the correct function of organs and other multicellular tissues. The spatial and temporal arrangements of these cellular interactions in vivo are dynamic and lead to higher-order function that is extremely difficult to recapitulate in vitro. The development of three-dimensional (3D), in vitro model systems to investigate these complex, in vivo interconnectivities would generate novel methods to study the biochemical signaling of these processes, as well as provide platforms for tissue engineering technologies. Herein, we develop and employ a strategy to induce specific and stable cell-cell contacts in 3D through chemoselective cell-surface engineering based on liposome delivery and fusion to display bio-orthogonal functional groups from cell membranes. This strategy uses liposome fusion for the delivery of ketone or oxyamine groups to different populations of cells for subsequent cell assembly via oxime ligation. We demonstrate how this method can be used for several applications including, the delivery of reagents to cells for fluorescent labeling and cell-surface engineering, the formation of small, 3D spheroid cell assemblies, and the generation of large and dense, 3D multilayered tissue-like structures for tissue engineering applications.  相似文献
