Transparent inorganic‐polymer nanocomposite films are of tremendous current interest inemerging solar coverings including photovoltaic encapsulants and commercial greenhouse plastics, but suffer from significant radiative heat loss. This work provides a new and simple approach for controlling this heat loss by using mesoporous silica/quantum dot nanoparticles in poly(ethylene‐co‐vinyl acetate) (EVA) films. Mesoporous silica shells were grown on CdS‐ZnS quantum dot (QDs) cores using a reverse microemulsion technique, controlling the shell thickness. These mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) were then melt‐mixed with EVA pellets using a mini twin‐screw extruder and pressed into thin films of concentration variable controlled thickness. The results demonstrate that the experimental MSNs showed improved infrared and thermal wavebands retention in the EVA transparent films compared to commercial silica additives, even at lower concentrations. It was also found MSNs enhanced the quantum yield and photostability of the QDs, providing high visible light transmission and blocking of UV transmission of interest for next generation solar coatings. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We aim to present a new scheme for high-dimensional atomic microscopy via double electromagnetically induced transparency in a four-level tripod system. For atom–field interaction, we construct a spatially dependent field by superimposing three standing-wave fields(SWFs) in 3 D-atom localization. We achieve a high precision and high spatial resolution of an atom localization by appropriately adjusting the system variables such as field intensities and phase shifts. We also see the impact of Doppler shift and show that it dramatically deteriorates the precision of spatial information on 3 D-atom localization. We believe that our suggested scheme opens up a fascinating way to improve the atom localization that supplies some practical applications in atom nanolithography, and Bose–Einstein condensation.  相似文献

Dopamine (DA) is an important neurotransmitter, which is created and released from the central nervous system. It plays a crucial role in human activities, like cognition, emotions, and response to anything. Maladjustment of DA in human blood serum results in different neural diseases, like Parkinson's and Schizophrenia. Consequently, researchers have started working on DA detection in blood serum, which is undoubtedly a hot research area. Electrochemical sensing techniques are more promising to detect DA in real samples. However, utilizing conventional electrodes for selective determination of DA encounters numerous problems due to the coexistence of other materials, such as uric acid and ascorbic acid, which have an oxidation potential close to DA. To overcome such problems, researchers have put their focus on the modification of bare electrodes. The aim of this review is to present recent advances in modifications of most used bare electrodes with carbonaceous materials, especially graphene, its derivatives, and carbon nanotubes, for electrochemical detection of DA. A brief discussion about the mechanistic phenomena at the electrode interface has also been included in this review.  相似文献

In recent years, there is emerging evidence that isoflavonoids, either dietary or obtained from traditional medicinal plants, could play an important role as a supplementary drug in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) due to their reported pronounced biological effects in relation to multiple metabolic factors associated with diabetes. Hence, in this regard, we have comprehensively reviewed the potential biological effects of isoflavonoids, particularly biochanin A, genistein, daidzein, glycitein, and formononetin on metabolic disorders and long-term complications induced by T2DM in order to understand whether they can be future candidates as a safe antidiabetic agent. Based on in-depth in vitro and in vivo studies evaluations, isoflavonoids have been found to activate gene expression through the stimulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) (α, γ), modulate carbohydrate metabolism, regulate hyperglycemia, induce dyslipidemia, lessen insulin resistance, and modify adipocyte differentiation and tissue metabolism. Moreover, these natural compounds have also been found to attenuate oxidative stress through the oxidative signaling process and inflammatory mechanism. Hence, isoflavonoids have been envisioned to be able to prevent and slow down the progression of long-term diabetes complications including cardiovascular disease, nephropathy, neuropathy, and retinopathy. Further thoroughgoing investigations in human clinical studies are strongly recommended to obtain the optimum and specific dose and regimen required for supplementation with isoflavonoids and derivatives in diabetic patients.  相似文献

The enhanced (G′/G)-expansion method presents wide applicability to handling nonlinear wave equations. In this article, we find the new exact traveling wave solutions of the Benney–Luke equation by using the enhanced (G′/G)-expansion method. This method is a useful, reliable, and concise method to easily solve the nonlinear evaluation equations (NLEEs). The traveling wave solutions have expressed in term of the hyperbolic and trigonometric functions. We also have plotted the 2D and 3D graphics of some analytical solutions obtained in this paper.  相似文献

Synthesis of novel amphiphilic biodegradable block copolymers based on ethylene carbonate is reported in this study. Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether (MeO‐PEO) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) of varying molar masses are used as macro‐initiator for ring‐opening polymerization of ethylene carbonate in the presence of sodium stannate trihydrate as a heterogeneous transesterification catalyst. Earlier elution of block copolymer from macro‐initiator in size exclusion chromatography (SEC) indicated the successful synthesis of the block copolymers. Ratios of both types of blocks are varied systematically. Liquid chromatography at critical conditions is used for the analysis of the non‐critical individual blocks, and if there are any critical segments that are not attached to the non‐critical block. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on the synthesis of ethylene carbonate‐based amphiphilic block copolymers. Chromatographic critical conditions of the ethylene carbonate polymer are also reported for the first time. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. The scaled factorial moments and the multifractal moments have been investigated in different??-intervals to study the dynamical fluctuation of pions produced in 200 AGeV32S-Ag/Br interaction. In order to investigate the detail characteristics of intermittency behaviour, theF-moments are extracted up to the eighth order of moments in differentM-intervals.
