We present the results of an investigation of optical gain and noise figure for simultaneous multi-channel amplification of an erbium doped fibre amplifier (EDFA) under optimized pump condition. Different pump configurations with varying input signal levels show interesting features on gain flatness. In the experiment, population inversion along the fibre length which determines the gain-spectra and noise characteristics of the amplifier is adjusted through optimized fibre length and injected pump power in order to minimize the gain-tilt at C-band. It is observed that bi-directional pumping manifests the best combination of low noise and high gain of EDFA which are useful as in-line repeaters in WDM network. We obtain 30 ± 1.5 dB intrinsically flat small signal gain from 1538 nm to 1558 nm band of wavelength with noise figure <4 dB for 16-channel simultaneous amplification in a single stage EDFA without gain flattening filter. 相似文献

Despite the remarkable progress in perovskite solar cells (PSCs), their instability and rapid degradation over time still restrict their commercialization. A 2D capping layer has been proved to overcome the stability issues; however, an in-depth understanding of the complex degradation processes over a prolonged time at PSC interfaces is crucial for improving their stability. In the current work, we investigated the stability of a triple cation 3D ([(FA0.83MA0.17)Cs0.05]Pb(I0.83Br0.17)3) and 2D/3D PSC fabricated by a layer-by-layer deposition technique (PEAI-based 2D layer over triple cation 3D perovskite) using a state-of-art characterization technique: electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). A long-term stability test over 24 months was performed on the 3D and 2D/3D PSCs with an initial PCE of 18.87% and 20.21%, respectively, to suggest a more practical scenario. The current-voltage (J-V) and EIS results showed degradation in both the solar cell types; however, a slower degradation rate was observed in 2D/3D PSCs. Finally, the quantitative analysis of the key EIS parameters affected by the degradation in 3D and 2D/3D PSCs were discussed. 相似文献

In contrast to traditional multistep synthesis, modern organic synthesis extensively depends on the direct functionalization of unactivated C?H bonds for the construction of various C?C and C‐heteroatom bonds in atom‐ and step‐economic manner. Common aliphatic substrates, e. g. carboxylic acids and their synthetic equivalents, are regiospecifically functionalized based on either a directed approach, in which the polar directing group assists to functionalize a specific C?H bond positioned at β‐ and γ‐carbon centers, or a non‐directed approach typically leading to α‐functionalization. While numerous reviews on catalytic C?H functionalization have appeared, a concise review on the direct C(sp3)?H heterofunctionalization of carboxylic acid synthons with Group 16 elements has been awaited. We consider the effect of accretion of radiation, matter and dark energy in the early universe on primordial black holes (PBH) in f(T) gravity. Due to the Hawking radiation, mass of the primordial black hole decreases. We show that for the phantom accretion inclusion with the Hawking evaporation, the mass of the PBH decreases faster whereas for the accretion of radiation, matter and quintessence together with Hawking evaporation, the mass increases in f(T) gravity. 相似文献

Assuming the flat FRW universe in Einstein’s gravity filled with New Variable Modified Chaplygin gas (NVMCG) dark energy and dark matter having negligible pressure. In this research work we analyze the viability on the basis of recent observation. Hubble parameter H is expressed in terms of the observable parameters H 0, $\varOmega_{m}^{0}$ and the model parameters A 0, B 0, C 0, m, n, α and the red shift parameter z. Here we find a best fitted parameter range of A 0, B 0 keeping 0≤α≤1 and using Stern data set (12 points) by minimizing the χ 2 test at 66 %, 90 % and 99 % confidence levels. Next we do the joint analysis with BAO and CMB observations. Again evaluating the distance modulus μ(z) vs redshift (z) curve obtained in the model NVMCG with dark matter with the best fitted value of the parameters and comparing with that derived from the Union2 compilation data. 相似文献

A series of near-IR-absorbing soluble phthalocyanines (Pcs) with eight alkyne moieties as side chains of the chromophore have been synthesized. One of these Pcs has been used as a scaffold for functional group modification using alkyne-azide click chemistry with various azides. This led to a small library of Pcs with photo and thermal crosslinkable, dendritic, and hydrophilic moieties starting from a single Pc molecule. A patterned thin film was fabricated by photocrosslinking one of these Pc derivatives. 相似文献

Taking the flat rotation curve as input and treating the matter content in the galactic halo region as perfect fluid we obtain a space–time metric at the galactic halo region in the framework of general relativity. We find that the resultant space–time metric is a non-relativistic dark matter induced space–time embedded in a static Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker universe i.e. the flat rotation curve not only leads to the existence of dark matter but also suggests about the background geometry of the universe. Within its range of validity the flat rotation curve and the demand that the dark matter to be non-exotic together indicate for a (nearly) flat universe as favored by the modern cosmological observations. We obtain the expressions for energy density and pressure of dark matter there and consequently the equation of state of dark matter. Various other aspects of the solutions are also analyzed. 相似文献
