Characteristics of the chiral stationary phase with poly(l-phenylalanine) peptide selector, which was in ??-helical state, was reported. Since environmental factors affect peptide conformation, the changes in enantioselectivity were examined depending on column temperature and mobile phase conditions (ionic strength, pH, mobile phase composition). Column temperature and pH drastically affected the enantioselectivity. Based on these changes, the relation between chiral recognition and secondary structure of the peptide selector was discussed. The column stability during sequential analysis under different separation conditions was also evaluated. 相似文献

Molecular dynamics simulations of single water droplets on a solid surface were carried out in order to investigate the effects that the Coulomb interaction between liquid and solid molecules has on wetting behavior by appending vertical electric polarization on a solid surface. The water droplet became more wettable both on upward and downward polarized surfaces, although structures of the adsorption layer appearing near the solid surface were clearly different, and the relation between droplet contact angle and surface polarization was also different for upward and downward polarization directions. The probability density distribution of molecular orientation around the adsorption layer indicated that preferable water molecule orientations varied largely by the surface polarization, and the rotational mobility around the preferable orientations was also affected. The dynamic property due to this rotational mobility was clearly captured by means of distribution of rotational diffusion coefficient, which potentially corresponded to local viscosity distribution. 相似文献

The development of clinically applicable scaffolds is important for the application of cell transplantation in various human diseases. The aims of this study are to evaluate fibrin glue in a novel protein replacement therapy using proliferative adipocytes and to develop a mouse model system to monitor the delivery of the transgene product into the blood and the fate of the transduced cells after transplantation. Proliferative adipocytes from mouse adipose tissue were transduced by a retroviral vector harboring the human lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase (lcat) gene, and were subcutaneously transplanted into mice combined with fibrin glue. The lcat gene transduction efficiency and the subsequent secretion of the product in mouse adipocytes were enhanced using a protamine concentration of 500 μg/ml. Adipogenesis induction did not significantly affect the lcat gene-transduced cell survival after transplantation. Immunohistochemistry showed the ectopic enzyme production to persist for 28 days in the subcutaneously transplanted gene- transduced adipocytes. The increased viability of transplanted cells with fibrin glue was accompanied with the decrease in apoptotic cell death. The immunodetectable serum LCAT levels in mice implanted with the fibrin glue were comparable with those observed in mice implanted with Matrigel, indicating that the transplanted lcat gene-transduced adipocytes survived and functioned in the transplanted spaces with fibrin glue as well as with Matrigel for 28 days. Thus, this in vivo system using fibrin is expected to serve as a good model to further improve the transplanted cell/scaffold conditions for the stable and durable cell-based replacement of defective proteins in patients with LCAT deficiency. 相似文献

Chemical diversity of iridal-type triterpenes in Iris delavayi collected in Yunnan Province of China
From Iris delavayi collected in the northwestern Yunnan Province of China, eight iridal-type triterpenoids were isolated, three of which were new. Both 2(7)Z- and 2(7)E-iridals were isolated in about equal amounts from the sample collected at Laojunshan, while only 2(7)Z-iridals were isolated from samples collected in Shangrila area, indicating the presence of chemical diversity in the species. 相似文献

The texture development mechanism during the extrusion of magnesium alloy is investigated by experimental observation and numerical analysis. First, we perform a finite element analysis of a full extrusion process using a phenomenological constitutive equation, and it is confirmed that the loading condition of the extrusion process near the central axis of the billet is approximated by an equi-biaxial compression mode. Then, the equi-biaxial compression problem is adopted as a simplified boundary value problem to be solved using a crystal plasticity model to clarify the detailed texture development mechanism during the extrusion process. The crystal plasticity analysis of equi-biaxial compression successfully reproduces the texture development from an initial random texture to the final experimentally observed texture. The effects of the deformation modes (i.e. slip and twinning systems) implemented in the calculation and the reference stress ratio of basal to nonbasal slip systems on texture development are studied in detail. Finally, the mechanism of texture development during the extrusion process is discussed in terms of the lattice rotation caused by the activated slip systems. 相似文献

The high-order harmonic generation from boron plasma was studied using the
longitudinal pump scheme. The harmonics up to the 57th order (λ=13.96

Dynamical spin susceptibility χs(q,ω) of the d–p model in the over doping region is investigated by using the auxiliary boson technique. It includes higher order terms of the 1/N-expansion within the random phase approximation (RPA) of the local vertex, where frequency dependence of the quasi-particle interaction is taken into account. The incommensurate spin fluctuation is obtained due to the nesting effect in the low energy region (ωω*), whereas the commensurate one in the high energy region (ωω*), the characteristic energy ω* is estimated to be about 30 meV. Both of the spin–lattice relaxation rate 1/T1 and the spin–spin relaxation rate 1/Tg monotonically increase as T decreases, while the spin Knight shift K is almost independent of T. 相似文献
