New Host Molecules with Imidazoliums as Functional Arms:Syntheses and Anion Recognition

The bridged tri-imidazoliums 3.3X^--5.3X^-(X^-=PF6^-,Br^-,I^-)and bis-imidazoliums 6.2PF6^- were synthesized by N-quaternization of imidazole derivative 1 in acetonitrile under reflux.UV spectroscopic titration experiments showed that the halide salts and hexafluorophosphate salts of these imidazoliums exhibited good recognition toward anions in water and in acetonitrile,respectively.     

Synthesis of Lanthanide Coordination Polymers with Benzophenone-4,4′-dicarboxylate： Effect of Lanthanide Contraction on Structures

Four lanthanide coordination polymers with benzophenone‐4,4′‐dicarboxylic acid (H₂bpndc) and 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), [Ln₂(bpndc)₃(phen)] (Ln=La (1), Pr (2) and Tb (3)), [Yb(bpndc)₁₅(phen)].05H₂O (4) were obtained through solvothermal synthesis. The crystallographic data show that 1, 2, and 3 are isostructural, the Ln(III) ions in 1, 2 and 3 are all eight‐ and ten‐coordinated, respectively, and thus the Ln(III) ions are connected by bpndc ligands, resulting in an interpenetrating 3D structure. While in 4, the Yb(III) ions are eight‐coordinated and connected by bpndc ligands into a 3D structure with 1D rhombic channels, which result from the effect of lanthanide contraction from La(III) to Yb(III) ions, and the bpndc ligands in 1, 2, 3, and 4 display three types of coordination modes.     

Keggin结构杂多酸盐[(C2H5)4N]3[PMo12O40]单晶的水热合成及其结构表征

将苯基磷酸和CoCl2.6H2O,Na2MoO4.2H2O,MoO3混合,采用水热合成的方法制备出了标题化合物[(C2H5)4N]3[PMo12O40],并对其结构进行了X射线单晶衍射的测定.此晶体属于立方晶系,空间群为Cmca,晶体数据为a=1.9777(2)nm,b=1.6882(2)nm,c=1.7161(3)nm,α=90.00°,β=90.00°,γ=90.00°,V=5.7299(13)nm3,Z=4,R1=0.0533,wR2=0.1219.标题化合物含有四乙基胺阳离子和十二钼磷酸的阴离子,其中十二钼磷酸的阴离子具有典型的Keggin结构.     

K3Na5(H2NCH2CH2NH3)2{(VO)12O6[B3O6(OH)]6}(H2O)•12H2O的合成与晶体结构

利用水热合成技术成功制备出一种新型多钒硼氧化合物， 用X射线单晶衍射分析技术对其晶体结构和分子结构进行了确定。结果表明在该化合物中多钒硼氧阴离子具有一个新颖的三明治结构。上下两个结构单元都是由六个VO₅四角锥交替地通过顺式和反式共边的方式连接起来构成的一个钒氧三角形结构。中间的结构单元是由BO₃平面三角形和BO₄四面体以共角的方式相互连接形成的一个折叠型的B₁₈O₃₆(OH)₆环。三明治结构中层与层之间通过桥氧相连。一个水分子处于它的核心位置上，与每个VO₅四角锥中的钒原子都保持几乎相等的距离。该化合物及其晶体中存在着丰富的化学结构和成键信息，同时也有作为氧化还原反应催化剂的潜能。     

A new isoprenyl phenyl ether compound from mangrove fungus

A new isoprenyl phenyl ether, 3-hydroxy-4-(3-methylbut-2-enyloxy)benzoic acid methyl ester (1), together with 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (2), 2-hydroxy-6-methylbenzoic acid (3), and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid (4) were isolated from Mangrove fungus (No. B60) from the South China Sea. The structures of the compounds were established on the basis of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data. In the preliminary bioassay, compound 1 exhibited antibacterial and antifungal activities. Compound 1 also inhibited cytotoxicity to the hepG2 cell line with an IC₅₀ value of 10.0 μg/mL. 苯并异硒唑酮氨基酸衍生物的合成及抗脂质过氧化作用

在已知具有氧化作用的2-苯基-1,2-苯并异硒唑-3(2H)-酮(Ebselen)的基础上, 将其2-位苯环更换成氨基酸乙酯, 设计并合成了9个苯并异硒酮的氨基酸衍生物3～11. 这类化合物的抗氧化作用药理研究表明,它们对Fe^2^+/半胱氨酸及维生素C诱发的大鼠肝微粒体脂质过氧化有抑制活性, 部分化合物活性比母体化合物Ebselen更优.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Novel Compound of （C2N2H8O2） H6V10O28

A novel vanadate decamer, involving all vanadium atoms present in +5 oxidation and one formhydroxamic acid dimer cation readical, has been synthesized. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the orange crystal is formed in the triclinic system, space group Pi, a = 8. 4960 (17), b = 10.447 (2), c = 11.299 (2) A, α= 68. 82 (3)°,β= 87.35 (3)°, γ = 66.97(3)°. V = 855. 3(3) A3, Z = 8, R1 = 0. 0857, wR2=0. 2551. X-ray crystallographic and packing in superlattice studies showed that the crystal structure was constructed by electrostatic attraction of O-H…O hydrogen bonds between formhydroxamic acid dimer cation and decavanadate polyanion. Formhydroxamic acid dimer is got through controlling the condition of the reaction using formhydroxamic acid.     

Fluorescence ratiometric pH sensor prepared from covalently immobilized porphyrin and benzothioxanthene

A fluorescence ratiometric sensor for pH determination is described in this paper. The sensor incorporated the pH-sensitive dye meso-5,10,15,20-tetra-(4-allyloxyphenyl)porphyrin (TAPP) as an indicator and a pH-insensitive dye N-(2-methacryloxyethyl)benzo[k,l]thioxanthene-3,4-dicarboximide (MBTD), a benzothioxanthene derivative, as a reference for fluorescence ratiometric measurement. To prevent leakage of the dyes, both were photocopolymerized with acrylamide, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate on the silanized glass surface. The reproducibility and response time of the prepared sensor were sufficient. Most common coexisting inorganic ions and organic compounds did not interfere with pH sensing. In the acidic pH range from 1.5 to 5.0 the fluorescence intensity ratio of the two dyes varied linearly as a function of pH. The sensing membrane was found to have a lifetime of at least one month. The sensor was applied to the analysis of waste water and artificial samples.     

Biological Activity of Flavonoids Copper Complexes

Three flavonoid copper(II) complexes Cu₂(quercetin)(CH₃COO)₃(CH₃OH) ( 1 ), Cu(anthrarufin)(CH₃COO)·1/2H₂O ( 2 ) and Cu(naringin)(OCH₃)(CH₃OH)₂ ( 3 ) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, electronic absorption and EPR (X‐band) spectroscopy. The complexes have a strong protective action over the Δsod1 mutant of S. cerevisiae against reactive oxygen radicals generated by an external source of free radicals (H₂O₂ or the superoxide‐generating, menadione). On the other hand, the complexes cleave DNA efficiently even in the absence of reducing agents. The main reactive oxygen species responsible for the DNA strand cleavage have been determined using radical scavengers. A probably mechanism of the DNA damage is proposed.
