In this work, a solid phase extraction method has been developed using a column filled with double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNT) for preconcentration-separation of gold(III) ions prior to their flame atomic absorption spectrometric determination. Gold(III) ions were quantitatively recovered on DWNT in 1.0?mol?L?1 HCl. The influences of the analytical conditions including eluent type, sample volume, etc. on the recoveries of gold(III) ions were examined. The effects of concomitant ions were also investigated. The detection limits for gold(III) based on 3σ was calculated as 1.5?µg?L?1. The procedure presented in this paper was applied to the gold content of a number of water, geological and anodic slime samples with successful results.  相似文献

Abstract

Two novel thiadiazoloquinoxaline and benzodithiophene (BDT) bearing copolymers were designed and synthesized. Different BDT units (alkoxy and thiophene substituted) were used as donor materials and the effect of alkoxy and thiophene substitution on the electrochemical, spectroelectrochemical and photovoltaic properties were investigated. Both polymers exhibited low oxidation potentials at around 0.90 V and low optical band gaps at around 1.00?eV due to the insertion of electron poor thiadiazoloquinoxaline unit into the polymer backbone. Both P1 (poly-6,7-bis(3,4-bis(decyloxy)phenyl)-4-(4,8-bis(nonan-3-yloxy)benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophen-2-yl)-[1, 2, 5]thiadiazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline) and P2 (poly- 4-(4,8-bis(5-(nonan-3-yl)thiophen-2-yl)benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophen-2-yl)-6,7-bis(3,4-bis(decyloxy)phenyl)-[1, 2, 5]thiadiazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline) exhibited multichromic behavior with different tones of greenish yellow and gray in the neutral and fully oxidized states, respectively. In addition, both polymers revealed very high optical contrasts (~87%) in the NIR region which make these promising polymers good candidates for NIR applications. Finally, in order to explore the organic photovoltaic performances, P1 and P2 were mixed with PC71BM in the active layer of organic solar cells (OSCs) by conventional device structure. As a result P1 and P2 based devices revealed power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 0.33% and 0.60% respectively. However, the additive treatment enhanced PCE from 0.49 to 0.73% for P2 based devices.  相似文献

The investigation of carbonic anhydrase and paraoxonase enzyme inhibition properties of water-soluble zinc and gallium phthalocyanine complexes ( 1 and 2 ) are reported for the first time. The binding of p-sulfonylphenoxy moieties to the phthalocyanine structure favors excellent solubilities in water, as well as providing an inhibition effect on carbonic anhydrase (CA) I and II isoenzymes and paraoxonase (PON1) enzyme. According to biological activity results, both complexes inhibited hCA I, hCA II, and PON1. Whereas 1 and 2 showed moderate hCA I and hCA II (off-target cytosolic isoforms) inhibitory activity (Ki values of 26.09 µM and 43.11 µM for hCA I and 30.95 µM and 33.19 µM for hCA II, respectively), they exhibited strong PON1 (associated with high-density lipoprotein [HDL]) inhibitory activity (Ki values of 0.37 µM and 0.27 µM, respectively). The inhibition kinetics were analyzed by Lineweaver–Burk double reciprocal plots. It revealed that 1 and 2 were noncompetitive inhibitors against PON1, hCA I, and hCA II. These complexes can be more advantageous than other synthetic CA and PON inhibitors due to their water solubility. Docking studies were carried out to examine the interactions between hCA I, hCA II, and PON1 inhibitors and metal complexes at a molecular level and to predict binding energies.  相似文献

Despite extensive recent reports on combinatorially selected inorganic-binding peptides and their bionanotechnological utility as synthesizers and molecular linkers, there is still only limited knowledge about the molecular mechanisms of peptide binding to solid surfaces. There is, therefore, much work that needs to be carried out in terms of both the fundamentals of solid-binding kinetics of peptides and the effects of peptide primary and secondary structures on their recognition and binding to solid materials. Here we discuss the effects of constraints imposed on FliTrx-selected gold-binding peptide molecular structures upon their quantitative gold-binding affinity. We first selected two novel gold-binding peptide (AuBP) sequences using a FliTrx random peptide display library. These were, then, synthesized in two different forms: cyclic (c), reproducing the original FliTrx gold-binding sequence as displayed on bacterial cells, and linear (l) dodecapeptide gold-binding sequences. All four gold-binding peptides were then analyzed for their adsorption behavior using surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy. The peptides exhibit a range of binding affinities to and adsorption kinetics on gold surfaces, with the equilibrium constant, Keq, varying from 2.5x10(6) to 13.5x10(6) M(-1). Both circular dichroism and molecular mechanics/energy minimization studies reveal that each of the four peptides has various degrees of random coil and polyproline type II molecular conformations in solution. We found that AuBP1 retained its molecular conformation in both the c- and l-forms, and this is reflected in having similar adsorption behavior. On the other hand, the c- and l-forms of AuBP2 have different molecular structures, leading to differences in their gold-binding affinities.  相似文献

P450s have attracted tremendous attention owing to not only their involvement in the metabolism of drug molecules and endogenous substrates but also the unusual nature of the reaction they catalyze, namely, the oxidation of unactivated C–H bonds. The binding of substrates to P450s, which is usually viewed as the first step in the catalytic cycle, has been studied extensively via a variety of biochemical and biophysical approaches. These studies were directed towards answering different questions related to P450s, including mechanism of oxidation, substrate properties, unusual substrate oxidation kinetics, function, and active-site features. Some of the substrate binding studies extending over a period of more than 40 years of dedicated work have been summarized in this review and categorized by the techniques employed in the binding studies.

Alkylbenzenes are synthesized for the first time from aliphatic hydrocarbons via an one pot, transition metal‐free coupling approach under basic conditions. The method consists of two steps: condensation of 2‐bromoprop‐2‐enyl‐ or 2‐propargylcyclohexanone with alcohols, amines, or amino alcohols, followed by base treatment (Scheme 1). Phenolic ethers and N‐phenylated polyalkyl aromatic compounds are shown to be in the scope of the demonstrated reaction (Table). The proposed mechanism suggests that the unsaturation in another part of the molecule (propargyl‐group equivalent) is transferred into the cyclohexane ring to yield a benzene ring through a series of prototropic shifts.  相似文献

A novel hydrogel polymer electrolyte was prepared by incorporation of 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BG) to cross-linked polyacrylamide (PAM). The electrolyte (PAMBG) was modified with cobalt (II) sulfate with various doping ratios (PAMBGCoX) to increase the capacitance by increasing faradaic reactions. The supercapacitor device assembly was performed by using active carbon (AC) electrodes and hydrogel polymer electrolytes. The specific capacitance of the PAMBGCo5 device indicated 130 F g−1, which is at least a seven-fold improvement due to the insertion of Co as a redox component. The electrolyte device, PAMBGCo5, displays superior performance having an energy density of 38 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 500 W kg−1. Additionally, with the same hydrogel, the device performed 10,000 galvanostatic charge-discharge cycles via retaining 91% of the initial capacitance. A cost-effective electrolyte, PAMBGCo5, was tested in a carbon-based supercapacitor under bent and twisted conditions at various angles, confirming the robustness of the device.  相似文献

A new chelating resin, poly(diacetonitrile methacrylamide-co-divinylbenzene-co-vinylimidazole), was synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and elemental analysis. The novel resin was used for the first time as a chelating adsorbent for the preconcentration of Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn from various samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The adsorption capacities of the resin were 29.3, 31.6, 29.3, 27.3, 35.5, 31.7, 39.8, and 32.3?mg?g?1 for Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn, respectively. The detection limits of the metal ions were from 0.42 to 3.21?µg?L?1. A preconcentration factor of 30 for all metal ions was obtained. The precision of the method as the relative standard deviation was less than or equal to 2.6%. The described method was validated with certified reference materials and fortified real samples. The method was used for the determination of the analytes in well water and wastewater.  相似文献

In this study, starting from 4-amino-5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-one ( 1 ), the 4-Amino-5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2-undecyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one ( 2 ) was first synthesized and this compound was converted to Schiff base derivatives ( 3a-e ). In the second step of the study, the 2-[3-(4-chlorobenzyl)-5-oxo-1-undecyl-1,5-dihydro-4H-1,2,4-triazole-4-yl]-acetohydrazide ( 6 ), which was used as a key product in the synthesis of many heterocyclic compounds was synthesized in four steps, and then this compound was converted into methylidene acetohydrazide ( 7a-e ), thiosemicarbazide ( 8a-e ), and 1,2,4-triazole-5-thione ( 9a-e ) derivatives. Also, in the last part of the study, 1,2,4-triazole-5-thione derivatives were changed into Mannich bases ( 10a-b ) bearing a 4-phenylpiperazine ring. These new compounds were tested with regard to pancreatic lipase (PL) inhibition activity, and compound 3b , 3d , 7d , 8d , and 9d showed a considerable anti-lipase activity at various concentrations. The activity of compounds 7b (IC50 = 1.45 ± 0.12 μM) was the highest in terms of IC50, comparable to that of orlistat, a well-known PL inhibitor used as an antiobesity drug.  相似文献
