The shape of eukaryotic cells is determined by the cytoskeleton associated with membrane proteins; however, the detailed mechanism of how the integral morphologies with structural stability is generated and maintained is still not fully understood. Here, based on the Frame‐Guided Assembly (FGA) strategy, we successfully prepared hetero‐liposomes with structural composition similar to that of eukaryotic cells by screening a series of transmembrane peptides as the leading hydrophobic groups (LHGs). It was demonstrated that the conformation and transmembrane mode of the LHGs played dominant roles during the FGA process. The FGA liposomes were formed with excellent stability, which may further provide evidence for the cytoskeleton–membrane protein–lipid bilayer model. Taking advantage of the biocompatibility and stability, the FGA liposomes were also applied to prepare novel drug delivery vehicles, which is promising in diagnostic imaging and cancer therapy applications. 相似文献

Starch nanoparticle (SNP)‐based pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) with core‐shell particle morphology (starch nanoparticle core/acrylic polymer shell) are produced via seeded, semi‐batch emulsion polymerization at 15 wt% SNP loading (relative to total polymer weight) and 40 wt% latex solids. Crosslinker and chain transfer agent (CTA) are introduced to the acrylic shell polymer formulation at a range of concentrations according to a 32 factorial design to tailor the latex and adhesive properties of SNP‐based latexes. The crosslinker and CTA show no significant effect on polymerization kinetics, particle size, and viscosity. Latex gel content is predicted using an empirical model, which is a function of crosslinker and CTA concentration. Both the gel content and glass transition temperature strongly affect the adhesive properties (tack, peel strength, and shear strength) of the SNP‐based latex films. 3D response surfaces for the adhesive properties are constructed to facilitate the design of SNP‐based PSAs with desired properties. 相似文献

A new white-rot fungus SYBC-L1, which could produce an extracellular laccase, was isolated from a decayed Elaeocarpus sylvestris. The strain was identified as Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 according to the morphological characteristics and ribosomal ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 RNA genomic sequence analysis. The
highest laccase activity of 24.1 U ml−1, which was approximately 40-fold than that in basal medium, was achieved in optimal culture medium in submerged fermentation.
The laccase produced by Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 was not only a cold adaptation enzyme with a relative catalytic activity of 30.2% at 0°C but also a high thermostable
enzyme. The half-lives at 60, 70 and 80°C were 85.5, 37.2, and 2.6 h, respectively. The laccase could effectively decolorize
weak acid blue AS and diamond black PV up to 88% and 74.7%, respectively, within 2 h in the absence of any redox mediators.
The results suggested Pycnoporus sp. SYBC-L1 was a potential candidate for laccase production and industrial application. 相似文献

The development of a sagittally focusing double‐multilayer monochromator is reported, which produces a spatially extended wide‐bandpass X‐ray beam from an intense synchrotron bending‐magnet source at the Advanced Photon Source, for ultrafast X‐ray radiography and tomography applications. This monochromator consists of two W/B4C multilayers with a 25 Å period coated on Si single‐crystal substrates. The second multilayer is mounted on a sagittally focusing bender, which can dynamically change the bending radius of the multilayer in order to condense and focus the beam to various points along the beamline. With this new apparatus, it becomes possible to adjust the X‐ray beam size to best match the area detector size and the object size to facilitate more efficient data collection using ultrafast X‐ray radiography and tomography. 相似文献

The solution processable alternating benzofuran/terfluorene copolymer bearing side oxadiazole groups ( PBF‐OXD ) was synthesized and its optoelectronic properties and color stability were investigated. Electron‐deficient and stereohindered oxadiazole units were used as pendent groups to compensate for the poor electron‐transporting ability of a p‐type polymer backbone, to depress the intermolecular π‐stacking, and to improve solubility while retaining polymer blue emission. PBF‐OXD showed a glass transition at 135 °C and an onset decomposition temperature of ~345 °C. A simple EL device, with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/ PBF‐OXD /Ba/Al, displayed a stable blue emission (λmax = 434 nm), good color purity (full width half‐maximum = 59 nm), maximum brightness of 1400 cd/m2, and a maximum luminance efficiency of 0.95 cd/A. The PL and EL spectra changed slightly on annealing and on increasing the applied voltage. These results show that the as‐synthesized copolymer PBF‐OXD had integrated respective functions of its different building blocks and exhibited good thermal and color stability with improved EL performance. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
