We demonstrate a new hydrothermal method to directly grow SnO(2) nanosheets on a graphene oxide support that is subsequently reduced to graphene. Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) solutions containing a very low concentration of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) of similar surface chemistry, respectively, were electrospun, and the nanofibers formed were collected using a modified rotating disk collector. The polymorphic behavior and crystal orientation of the nanofibers were studied using wide-angle X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy, while the nanotube alignment and interfacial interactions in the nanofibers were probed by transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. It is shown that the interfacial interaction between the SWCNTs and PVDF and the extensional force experienced by the nanofibers in the electrospinning and collection processes can work synergistically to induce highly oriented beta-form crystallites extensively. In contrast, the MWCNTs could not be well aligned along the nanofiber axis, which leads to a lower degree of crystal orientation. 相似文献

The paper presents the changes in the thermal properties of control, arsenic exposed and DMSA treated Labeo rohita bones by using thermo analytical techniques. The result shows that the mass loss due to the thermal decomposition occurs
in three distinct steps due to loss of water, organic and inorganic materials. The arsenic exposed bones present a different
thermal behaviour compared to the control bones. The residue masses are increased due to arsenic exposure, while the DMSA
treatment reduces the residue mass level. These thermal characteristics can be used as a qualitative method to check the metal

This paper describes five aspects of primary mathematics teacher education in Singapore: (a) the teaching profession in Singapore, (b) the structure of pre-service teacher education programs offered by the National Institute of Education, (c) self-reports of Singapore future primary mathematics teachers about the opportunities to learn mathematics-related contents offered by these programs, based on the Teacher Education and Development Study in Mathematics (TEDS-M) survey, (d) the performance of these future teachers in mathematics content knowledge and mathematics pedagogical content knowledge assessed by the TEDS-M study, and (e) the relationships of opportunities to learn with this performance. The paper concludes with some suggestions about how to improve the quality of initial teacher preparation in the areas of recruitment and training. 相似文献
