氟硅烷自组装单分子膜的制备及其摩擦学性能

利用分子自组装技术制备了全氟辛酰胺丙基硅烷单分子膜,用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对组装膜的表面元素进行了表征;接触角测试表明,该组装膜具有很好的疏水-疏油性,其对水的接触角高达105°,对正十六烷的接触角为50°.摩擦磨损实验结果表明,全氟辛酰胺丙基硅烷自组装单分子膜可以大大降低基片的摩擦系数,使载玻片的摩擦系数从0.85左右降低到0.14左右,而且低负荷下具有很好的耐磨性.     

Serendipitous synthesis of a ditwistane: a one-step access!

4-tert-Butyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one dimerizes in THF solution via its kinetic enolate, leading to di-tert-butylditwistane 8 in up to 36% yield (−78 °C → room temp., protonolysis, flash chromatography). X-ray crystallography shows that 8 incorporates one R and one S enantiomer of the starting ketone; none of the diastereomeric ditwistanes epi-8, epi’-8 or iso-8 was isolated. This means that the formation of 8 proceeds with mutual kinetic resolution and 100% induced diastereoselectivity.     

Substituted metal carbonyls XIII. Fe(CO)4(η-dppf) [where DPPF = (Ph2PC5H4)2Fe]: a convenient building block for heterometallic complexes

The potential of Fe(CO)₄(η¹-dppf) (dppf = 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene) as a precursor for heterometallic species is fully expanded in the synthesis of (OC)₄Fe(μ-dppf)Cr(CO)₅, (OC)₄Fe(μ-dppf)W(CO)₅, and (OC)₄Fe(μ-dppf)Mn₂(CO)₉, all of which have been characterized by IR, NMR (¹H and ³¹P) and elemental analyses. The low energy requirement of TMNO (Me₃NO · 2H₂O)decarbonylation allows the formation of monosubstituted Mn₂(CO)₁₀ as the major product. This aspect is further substantiated by the isolation of Mn₄(CO)₁₈(μ-dppf) in which the single bridging of a diphosphine group between two Mn₂(CO)₉ moieties is unprecedented.     

Reactive dications: the superacid-catalyzed reactions of alkynes bearing adjacent N-heterocycles or amine groups

A variety of aminoalkynes and related heterocycles are reacted in the Bronsted superacid CF(3)SO(3)H (triflic acid), and products are obtained in generally good yields (69-99%) from Friedel-Crafts-type reactions. The reactions are consistent with the formation of novel dicationic intermediates having a vinyl cationic site and an adjacent protonated N-heterocycle or ammonium cation.

Hardy Spaces on the Plane and Double Fourier Transforms

We provide a direct computational proof of the known inclusion where is the product Hardy space defined for example by R. Fefferman and is the classical Hardy space used, for example, by E.M. Stein. We introduce a third space of Hardy type and analyze the interrelations among these spaces. We give simple sufficient conditions for a given function of two variables to be the double Fourier transform of a function in and respectively. In particular, we obtain a broad class of multipliers on and respectively. We also present analogous sufficient conditions in the case of double trigonometric series and, as a by-product, obtain new multipliers on and respectively.     

Optimal linear estimators of the unknown mean of a random field observed on a cross

A sequential multielement separation scheme for determination of As,Mn, Mo,Cu and Zn in human milk by neutron activation analysis

A simple separation scheme for the analysis of As, Mn, Mo, Cu and Zn using neutron activation is described. It has been checked using three standard reference materials, A-11 milk powder (IAEA) and bovine liver and orchard leaves (USNBS) and found to give acceptable results. This scheme was applied for determination of these trace elements in mature human milk samples. The concentrations of As, Mn, Mo, Cu in samples obtained from two socio-economic groups—low and middle incomes—were not significantly different. However, Zn levels in samples obtained from the poor income group were significantly lower than in those obtained from the other group.
