An unexpected, but simple method for the efficient synthesis of new 2.2′-azopyridine dyes, such as (E)-diethyl 6,6′-(diazene-1,2-diyl)bis(5-cyano-2-methyl-4-phenylnicotinates) (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12), based on the treatment of ethyl 6-amino-5-cyano-2-methyl-4-arylnicotinates (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11) with NBS/benzoyl peroxide, is described. A one‐pot, four‐component procedure for the synthesis of novel spiroindenoquinoxalineindolizidines with high regioselectivity and diastereoselectivity from the 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of azomethine ylides, generated from indenoquinoxalines and pipecolinic acid, and chalcones is described. The reaction occurs under reflux of ethanol as a green solvent and in the absence of any catalyst. The cycloadducts are obtained purely without future purification. The regiochemistry and stereochemistry of resultant cycloadducts have been determined by several 2D‐NMR spectroscopic techniques and X‐ray single crystal diffraction. 相似文献

As a part of continuing search for potential antibacterial agents in the quinolones field, we have synthesized novel quinolone agents bearing N-[2-(thiophen-3-yl)ethyl] piperazinyl moiety in the 7-position of the quinolone ring. In vitro antibacterial evaluation of the target compounds showed that N-[2-(thiophen-3-yl)ethyl] group attached to piperazine ring served as promising C-7 substituent for piperazinyl quinolone antibacterials. Among these derivatives, ciprofloxacin analogues, containing N-[2-(thiophen-3-yl)-2-hydroxyiminoethyl] or N-[2-(thiophen-3-yl)-2-methoxyiminoethyl] residue provided a high inhibition against all the tested Gram-positive organisms including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus comparable or superior with respect to the reference drugs norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin. 相似文献

In order to study the behaviour of trace impurities during aqueous dissolution of a sample, aluminium and nickel-based alloys containing 10−4−1% Ir, Os or Ru were used. Yields of chemical separations such as distillation and ion-exchange were chosen as dissolution criteria. Dissolution of aluminium samples leads to precipitation of the three impurities. The Os and Ru precipitates can afterwards be dissolved by an oxidation procedure, in contrast to commercial powders of these elements. This behaviour may be explained in terms of the small grain-size of the precipitates. The indium precipitates cannot be dissolved, which prevents quantitative separation of this element from an aluminium matrix. In the case of nickel alloys, these three impurities are dissolved and can be quantitatively separated. 相似文献

Summary: This contribution describes the graft polymerization of polystyrene (PS) by atom transfer radical polymerization at 50, 60, and 75 °C. Thick PS brushes were grown from initiator‐functionalized PGMA layers on silicon, and constant growth rates provide indirect evidence that the polymerizations were controlled.
