An unprecedented series of titanocene-gold bi- and trimetallic complexes of the general formula [[(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(μ-η(5):κ(1)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(n)PPh(2))TiCl(2)](m)AuCl(x)](q+) (n = 0, 2, or 4; m = 1, x = 1, q = 0 or m = 2, x = 0, q = 1) have been prepared and characterized spectroscopically. The luminescence spectroscopy and photophysics of one of the compounds, [[(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(μ-η(5):κ(1)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))TiCl(2)](2)Au]PF(6), have been investigated in 2MeTHF solution and in the solid state at 77 and 298 K. Evidence for interfragment interactions based on the comparison of electronic band positions and emission lifetimes, namely, triplet energy transfer (ET) from the Au- to the Ti-containing chromophores, is provided. The cytotoxicity of the complexes was evaluated on A2780 ovarian cancer cells and on their cisplatin-resistant cell line A2780cisR; the compounds showed activity in the low micromolar range that was markedly more active than the corresponding titanocene-phosphine precursors [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(η(5)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(n)PPh(2))TiCl(2)], cisplatin, and, for some of them, the gold analogue [(PPh(3))AuCl]. In an attempt to draw preliminary structure-activity relationships, cell uptake measurements and interaction studies with plasmid DNA and the model protein ubiquitin (Ub) have been undertaken on some of the compounds.  相似文献

Two molecules of C(2)(CO(2)Me)(2) or isocyanides could be added to the title hydride complex under mild conditions to give dienyl-[W(2)Cp(2){μ-η(1),κ:η(2)-C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)C(CO(2)Me)=CH(CO(2)Me)}(μ-PCy(2))(CO)(2)] (Cp = η(5)-C(5)H(5)), diazadienyl-[W(2)Cp(2){μ-κ,η:κ,η-C{CHN(4-MeO-C(6)H(4))}N(4-MeO-C(6)H(4))}(μ-PCy(2))(CO)(2)] or aminocarbyne-bridged derivatives [W(2)Cp(2){μ-CNH(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))}(μ-PCy(2)){CN(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))}(CO)]. In contrast, its reaction with excess (4-Me-C(6)H(4))C(O)H gave the C-O bond cleavage products [W(2)Cp(2){CH(2)(4-Me-C(6)H(4))}(O)(μ-PCy(2))(CO)(2)] and [W(2)Cp(2){μ-η:η,κ-C(O)CH(2)(4-Me-C(6)H(4))}(O)(μ-PCy(2))(CO)].  相似文献

The reaction of phosphanido complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(PPh(2))] [L = CO (1), CNXylyl (2)] with early transition metal halides in high oxidation states has been carried out. New bimetallic niobocene complexes [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(5))] [M = Nb, L = CO (3), L = CNXylyl (4); M = Ta, L = CO (5), L = CNXylyl (6)] have been successfully synthesized by the reaction with [MCl(5)](2) (M = Nb or Ta). In a similar way [{Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)}(μ-PPh(2))(MCl(4))] [M = Ti, L = CO (13), CNXylyl (14); M = Zr, L = CO (15), CNXylyl (16)] were synthesized using MCl(4) (M = Ti or Zr). Solutions of complexes 4-6 in chloroform produced new ionic derivatives [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(H)Ph(2))(L)] [MCl(6)] [M = Nb, L = CO (7), L = CNXylyl (8); M = Ta, L = CO (9), L = CNXylyl (10)]. Ionic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(P(Cl)Ph(2))(L)] [NbCl(4)O(thf)] [L = CO (11), CNXylyl (12)] were formed from solutions in thf - rapidly in the case of 3 but more slowly for 4. New heterometallic complexes [Nb(η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)(L)(μ-PPh(2)){(Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)}] [R = H, L = CO (17), CNXylyl (18); R = CH(3), L = CO (19), CNXylyl (20)] were synthesized by the reaction of 1 or 2 with [Ti(η(5)-C(5)R(5))Cl(3)] (R = H or CH(3)). All of these compounds were characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, and the molecular structures of 9 and 12 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A series of alkaline earth metallocene complexes carrying the diphenylphosphanocyclopentadienyl ligand, [Ae(L)(x)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)] (Ae = Ca, L = thf, x = 1 (6a); Ae = Ca, L = dme, x = 1 (6b); Ae = Sr, L = thf, x = 1 (7); Ae = Ba, L = thf, x = 1 (8a); Ae = Ba, L = dme, x = 2 (8b)), were prepared by redox transmetallation/protolysis from the free metals, diphenylmercury and diphenylphosphanocyclopentadiene. These complexes were characterised using multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and two by single crystal X-ray diffraction. [Ca(dme)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)] (6b) is a discrete neutral monomeric eight coordinate molecule in which the phosphorus atoms are not coordinated to the calcium ion and the larger barium analogue, ten-coordinate [Ba(dme)(2)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)] (8b), has an extremely bent sandwich structure due to the two dme ligands attached to the metal. Bimetallic complexes, [Ae(thf)(x)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Pt(Me)(2)].(solv) (Ae = Ca, L = thf, x = 2, solv = 1.5thf (9); Ae = Sr, L = thf, x = 3, solv = 1.5thf (10); Ae = Ba, L = thf, x = 3, solv = thf (11)) were obtained by reaction of the homometallic complexes with [Pt(cod)(Me)(2)]. The crystal structures of [Ca(thf)(2)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Pt(Me)(2)].1.5thf (9), [Sr(thf)(3)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Pt(Me)(2)].1.5thf (10) and [Ba(thf)(3)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Pt(Me)(2)].thf (11) show the eight (calcium) and nine coordinate (strontium and barium) fragments acting as a chelating metalloligand attached to the square planar platinum through the phosphorus donor atoms. The solution chemistry of these bimetallic complexes has been investigated by NMR spectroscopy, electro-spray ionisation mass spectrometry and conductivity experiments which indicate that the bimetallic compounds persist in solution.  相似文献

The transmetallation of the palladacyclopentadiene complex Pd{C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)}(bipy) with the dicationic Pd(II) complex [Pd(bipy)(CH(3)CN)(2)][BF(4)](2) afforded a terminally σ-palladated diene complex [Pd(2){μ-η(1):η(1)-C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)}(bipy)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][BF(4)](2). It was revealed by X-ray crystallographic analysis that replacement of the acetonitrile ligands in a terminally σ-palladated diene complex with PPh(3) ligands resulted in the conformation change of the σ-palladated diene moiety from skewed s-cis to planar s-trans. Treatment of a bis-triphenylphosphine dipalladium complex [Pd(2)(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(4)][PF(6)](2) with dimethoxyacetylene dicarboxylate (DMAD) (1 equiv.) in acetonitrile resulted in the insertion of DMAD to the Pd-Pd bond to afford [Pd(2){μ-η(1):η(1)-C(COOMe)C(COOMe)}(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(4)][PF(6)](2). Addition of the second DMAD gave the ylide-type complex [Pd(2){μ-η(2):η(3)-C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)C(COOMe)(PPh(3))}(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)][PF(6)](2) of which the structure was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis.  相似文献

Three pendant benzamidines, [Ph-C(=NC(6)H(5))-{NH(E)}] [E = -(CH(2))(2)SMe (1); -(CH(2))(2)S(t)Bu (2); -o-C(6)H(4)SMe (3)], are described. Reactions of 1, 2 or 3 with one molar equivalent of Pd(OAc)(2) in CH(2)Cl(2) give the palladacyclic complexes, [Ph-C{-NH(η(1)-C(6)H(4))}{=N(E)}]Pd(OAc) [E = -(CH(2))(2)SMe (4); -(CH(2))(2)S(t)Bu (5); -o-C(6)H(4)SMe (6)], as mononuclear palladium complexes respectively. A minor product described as 5', {[Ph-C{-N(C(6)H(5))}{-N(CH(2))(2)S(t)Bu}]Pd(OAc)}(2), was isolated as benzamidinate-bridged dinuclear palladium complex upon recrystallizing from Et(2)O/hexane solution. Treatment of 1, 2 or 3 with one molar equivalent of PdCl(2) in the presence of NEt(3) in CH(2)Cl(2) gives the palladacyclic complexes, [Ph-C{-NH(η(1)-C(6)H(4))}{=N(E)}]PdCl [E = -(CH(2))(2)SMe (7); -(CH(2))(2)S(t)Bu (8); -o-C(6)H(4)SMe (9)], as mononuclear palladium complexes respectively. The crystal and molecular structures are reported for compounds 5, 5' and 6-8. The application of these palladacyclic complexes to the Suzuki and Heck coupling reactions was examined.  相似文献

Homo- and heterobimetallic complexes of the form [(PPh(3))(2)(mu(2)-1,8-S(2)-nap){ML(n)}] (in which (1,8-S(2)-nap)=naphtho-1,8-dithiolate and {ML(n)}={PtCl(2)} (1), {PtClMe} (2), {PtClPh} (3), {PtMe(2)} (4), {PtIMe(3)} (5) and {Mo(CO)(4)} (6)) were obtained by the addition of [PtCl(2)(NCPh)(2)], [PtClMe(cod)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene), [PtClPh(cod)], [PtMe(2)(cod)], [{PtIMe(3)}(4)] and [Mo(CO)(4)(nbd)] (nbd=norbornadiene), respectively, to [Pt(PPh(3))(2)(1,8-S(2)-nap)]. Synthesis of cationic complexes was achieved by the addition of one or two equivalents of a halide abstractor, Ag[BF(4)] or Ag[ClO(4)], to [{Pt(mu-Cl)(mu-eta(2):eta(1)-C(3)H(5))}(4)], [{Pd(mu-Cl)(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}(2)], [{IrCl(mu-Cl)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}(2)] (in which C(5)Me(5)=Cp*=1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), [{RhCl(mu-Cl)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}(2)], [PtCl(2)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)] and [{Rh(mu-Cl)(cod)}(2)] to give the appropriate coordinatively unsaturated species that, upon treatment with [(PPh(3))(2)Pt(1,8-S(2)-nap)], gave complexes of the form [(PPh(3))(2)(mu(2)-1,8-S(2)-nap){ML(n)}][X] (in which {ML(n)}[X]={Pt(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}[ClO(4)] (7), {Pd(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))}[ClO(4)] (8), {IrCl(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}[ClO(4)] (9), {RhCl(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))}[BF(4)] (10), {Pt(PMe(2)Ph)(2)}[ClO(4)](2) (11), {Rh(cod)}[ClO(4)] (12); the carbonyl complex {Rh(CO)(2)}[ClO(4)] (13) was formed by bubbling gaseous CO through a solution of 12. In all cases the naphtho-1,8-dithiolate ligand acts as a bridge between two metal centres to give a four-membered PtMS(2) ring (M=transition metal). All compounds were characterised spectroscopically. The X-ray structures of 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 reveal a binuclear PtMS(2) core with PtM distances ranging from 2.9630(8)-3.438(1) A for 8 and 5, respectively. The napS(2) mean plane is tilted with respect to the PtP(2)S(2) coordination plane, with dihedral angles in the range 49.7-76.1 degrees and the degree of tilting being related to the PtM distance and the coordination number of M. The sum of the Pt(1)coordination plane/napS(2) angle, a, and the Pt(1)coordination plane/M(2)coordination plane angle, b, a+b, is close to 120 degrees in nearly all cases. This suggests that electronic effects play a significant role in these binuclear systems.  相似文献

The dynamic behavior in solution of eight mono-hapto?tetraphosphorus transition metal-complexes, trans-[Ru(dppm)(2) (H)(η(1) -P(4) )]BF(4) ([1]BF(4) ), trans-[Ru(dppe)(2) (H)(η(1) -P(4) )]BF(4) ([2]BF(4) ), [CpRu(PPh(3) )(2) (η(1) -P(4) )]PF(6) ([3]PF(6) ), [CpOs(PPh(3) )(2) (η(1) -P(4) )]PF(6) ([4]PF(6) ), [Cp*Ru(PPh(3) )(2) (η(1) -P(4) )]PF(6) ([5]PF(6) ), [Cp*Ru(dppe)(η(1) -P(4) )]PF(6) ([6]PF(6) ), [Cp*Fe(dppe)(η(1) -P(4) )]PF(6) ([7]PF(6) ), [(triphos)Re(CO)(2) (η(1) -P(4) )]OTf ([8]OTf), and of three bimetallic Ru(μ,η(1:2) -P(4) )Pt species [{Ru(dppm)(2) (H)}(μ,η(1:2) -P(4) ){Pt(PPh(3) )(2) }]BF(4) ([1-Pt]BF(4) ), [{Ru(dppe)(2) (H)}(μ,η(1:2) -P(4) ){Pt(PPh(3) )(2) }]BF(4) ([2-Pt]BF(4) ), [{CpRu(PPh(3) )(2) )}(μ,η(1:2) -P(4) ){Pt(PPh(3) )(2) }]BF(4) ([3-Pt]BF(4) ), [dppm=bis(diphenylphosphanyl)methane; dppe=1,2-bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ethane; triphos=1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphanylmethyl)ethane; Cp=η(5) -C(5) H(5) ; Cp*=η(5) -C(5) Me(5) ] was studied by variable-temperature (VT) NMR and (31) P{(1) H} exchange spectroscopy (EXSY). For most of the mononuclear species, NMR spectroscopy allowed to ascertain that the metal-coordinated P(4) molecule experiences a dynamic process consisting, apart from the free rotation about the M?P(4) axis, in a tumbling movement of the P(4) cage while remaining chemically coordinated to the central metal. EXSY and VT (31) P?NMR experiments showed that also the binuclear complex cations [1-Pt](+) -[3-Pt](+) are subjected to molecular motions featured by the shift of each metal from one P to an adjacent one of the P(4) moiety. The relative mobility of the metal fragments (Ru vs. Pt) was found to depend on the co-ligands of the binuclear complexes. For complexes [2]BF(4) and [3]PF(6) , MAS, (31) P?NMR experiments revealed that the dynamic processes observed in solution (i.e., rotation and tumbling) may take place also in the solid state. The activation parameters for the dynamic processes of complexes 1(+) , 2(+) , 3(+) , 4(+) , 6(+) , 8(+) in solution, as well as the X-ray structures of 2(+) , 3(+) , 5(+) , 6(+) are also reported. The data collected suggest that metal-coordinated P(4) should not be considered as a static ligand in solution and in the solid state.  相似文献

A series of sulfido-bridged tungsten-ruthenium dinuclear complexes Cp*W(mu-S)(3)RuX(PPh(3))(2) (4a; X = Cl, 4b; X = H), Cp*W(O)(mu-S)(2)RuX(PPh(3))(2) (5a; X = Cl, 5b; X = H), and Cp*W(NPh)(mu-S)(2)RuX(PPh(3))(2) (6a; X = Cl, 6b; X = H) have been synthesized by the reactions of (PPh(4))[Cp*W(S)(3)] (1), (PPh(4))[Cp*W(O)(S)(2)] (2), and (PPh(4))[Cp*W(NPh)(S)(2)] (3), with RuClX(PPh(3))(3) (X = Cl, H). The heterolytic cleavage of H(2) was found to proceed at room temperature upon treating 5a and 6a with NaBAr(F)(4) (Ar(F) = 3, 5-C(6)H(3)(CF(3))(2)) under atmospheric pressure of H(2), which gave rise to [Cp*W(OH)(mu-S)(2)RuH(PPh(3))(2)](BAr(F)(4)) (7a) and [Cp*W(NHPh)(mu-S)(2)RuH(PPh(3))(2)](BAr(F)(4)) (8), respectively. When Cp*W(O)(mu-S)(2)Ru(PPh(3))(2)H (5b) was treated with a Br?nstead acid, [H(OEt(2))(2)](BAr(F)(4)) or HOTf, protonation occurred exclusively at the terminal oxide to give [Cp*W(OH)(mu-S)(2)RuH(PPh(3))(2)](X) (7a; X = BAr(F)(4), 7b; X = OTf), while the hydride remained intact. The analogous reaction of Cp+W(mu-S)(3)Ru(PPh(3))(2)H (4b) led to immediate evolution of H(2). Selective deprotonation of the hydroxyl group of 7a or 7b was induced by NEt(3) and 4b, generating Cp*W(O)(mu-S)(2)Ru(PPh(3))(2)H (5b). Evolution of H(2) was also observed for the reactions of 7a or 7b with CH(3)CN to give [Cp*W(O)(mu-S)(2)Ru(CH(3)CN)(PPh(3))(2)](X) (11a; X = BAr(F)(4), 11b; X = OTf). We examined the H/D exchange reactions of 4b, 5b, and 7a with D(2) and CH(3)OD, and found that facile H/D scrambling over the W-OH and Ru-H sites occurred for 7a. Based on these experimental results, the mechanism of the heterolytic H(2) activation and the reverse H(2) evolution reactions are discussed.  相似文献

Eleven experimentally characterized complexes containing heterobimetallic bonds between elements of the f-block and other elements were examined by quantum chemical methods: [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)(THF)LuRu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)], [(η(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)(I)ThRu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)], [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)YRe(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)], [{N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)}URe(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)], [Y{Ga(NArCh)(2)}{C(PPh(2)NSiH(3))(2)}(CH(3)OCH(3))(2)], [{N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)}U{Ga(NArCH)(2)}(THF)], [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(3)UGa(η(5)-C(5)Me(5))], [Yb(η(5)-C(5)H(5)){Si(SiMe(3))(3)(THF)(2)}], [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(3)U(SnPh(3))], [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(3)U(SiPh(3))], and (Ph[Me]N)(3)USi(SiMe(3))(3). Geometries in good agreement with experiment were obtained at the density functional level of theory. The multiconfigurational complete active space self-consistent field method (CASSCF) and subsequent corrections with second order perturbation theory (CASPT2) were applied to further understand the electronic structure of the lanthanide/actinide-metal (or metal-metalloid) bonds. Fragment calculations and energy-decomposition analyses were also performed and indicate that charge transfer occurs from one supported metal fragment to the other, while the bonding itself is always dominated by ionic character.  相似文献

A new family of heterometallic compounds 3-6 containing ferrocenyl and platinum(II) centers has been synthesized by reaction of 1-β-aminoethylferrocene (1) and 1,1'-bis(β-aminoethyl)ferrocene (2) with Pt(II) precursors. Using K(2)[PtCl(4)] as the Pt(II) source, the cis-square-planar neutral compounds [Fe{η(5)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(2)NH(2)}(2)PtCl(2)] (3) and [{Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(η(5)-C(5)H(5))}(2)PtCl(2)] (5) were obtained. Reaction of cis-[PtCl(2)(dmso)(2)] with 1 and 2 resulted in the displacement of dmso and chloride ligands from the platinum coordination sphere, affording the cationic and neutral compounds [Fe{η(5)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(2)NH(2)}(2)Pt(dmso)Cl]Cl (4) and [Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(4)(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(η(5)-C(5)H(5))Pt(dmso)Cl(2)] (6). Compounds 3-6 were thoroughly characterized using multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, (195)Pt) NMR, IR spectroscopy, ESI mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of heterometallic 6 confirmed the cis geometry of the molecule and revealed that the platinum atom is held in a perfect square-planar geometry. The electrochemical behaviour of the heterometallic compounds 3-6, which has been examined by cyclic (CV) and square wave (SWV) voltammetries in dichloromethane and dmso solution, is characterized by the reversible one-electron oxidation of the ferrocene moieties. The results of the biological activity studies revealed that the organometallic complex 5 is active against all cell lines with GI(50) values in the range 1.7-2.3 μM. When compared to the standard anticancer drug cisplatin, heterotrimetallic 5, possessing two aminoethylferrocenyl units coordinated to the Pt(II) center, showed a greater activity profile in the colon cancer cell line. Cell cycle studies revealed that the new mixed compound exhibits a mechanism of action different to cisplatin.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuCl(PR(3))] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] in refluxing ethanol proceeds with partial degradation (removal of a boron atom adjacent to carbon) of the closo species to give [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PR(3))] [PR(3) = PPh(3) (1), PPh(2)Me (2), PPh(2)(4-Me-C(6)H(4)) (3), P(4-Me-C(6)H(4))(3) (4), P(4-OMe-C(6)H(4))(3) (5)]. Similarly, the treatment of [Au(2)Cl(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] under the same conditions leads to the complexes [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] [P-P = dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (6), dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (7)], where the dppe or dppp ligands bridge two gold nido-diphosphine units. The reaction of 1 with NaH leads to removal of one proton, and further reaction with [Au(PPh(3))(tht)]ClO(4) gives the novel metallocarborane compound [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(9)}(PPh(3))(2)] (8). The structure of complexes 1 and 7 have been established by X-ray diffraction. [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PPh(3))] (1) (dichloromethane solvate) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 17.326(3) ?, b = 20.688(3) ?, c = 13.442(2) ?, beta = 104.710(12) degrees, Z = 4, and T = -100 degrees C. [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-dppp)] (7) (acetone solvate) is triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.432(3) ?, b = 18.888(3) ?, c = 20.021(3) ?, alpha = 78.56(2) degrees, beta = 72.02(2) degrees, gamma = 73.31(2) degrees, Z = 2, and T = -100 degrees C. In both complexes the gold atom exhibits trigonal planar geometry with the 7,8-bis(diphenylphosphino)-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborate(1-) acting as a chelating ligand.  相似文献

Four new uranium-ruthenium complexes, [(Tren(TMS))URu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)] (9), [(Tren(DMSB))URu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)] (10), [(Ts(Tolyl))(THF)URu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)] (11), and [(Ts(Xylyl))(THF)URu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)] (12) [Tren(TMS)=N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3); Tren(DMSB)=N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(2)tBu)(3)]; Ts(Tolyl)=HC(SiMe(2)NC(6)H(4)-4-Me)(3); Ts(Xylyl)=HC(SiMe(2)NC(6)H(3)-3,5-Me(2))(3)], were prepared by a salt-elimination strategy. Structural, spectroscopic, and computational analyses of 9-12 shows: i) the formation of unsupported uranium-ruthenium bonds with no isocarbonyl linkages in the solid state; ii) ruthenium-carbonyl backbonding in the [Ru(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)](-) ions that is tempered by polarization of charge within the ruthenium fragments towards uranium; iii) closed-shell uranium-ruthenium interactions that can be classified as predominantly ionic with little covalent character. Comparison of the calculated U-Ru bond interaction energies (BIEs) of 9-12 with the BIE of [(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(3)URu(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(CO)(2)], for which an experimentally determined U-Ru bond disruption enthalpy (BDE) has been reported, suggests BDEs of approximately 150 kJ mol(-1) for 9-12.  相似文献

The diphosphine 2,4,6-(CH(3))(3)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)OH (1) reacts with [OsCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] in presence of an excess of triethylamine to yield the isomeric para-quinone methide derivatives [Os{4-(CH(2))-1-(O)-2,6-(CH(3))(2)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(H)(PPh(3))] (2 and 3), which differ in the positions of the mutually trans hydride and chloride ligands. Complex 2 reacts with CO to afford the dicarbonyl species [Os{1-(O)-2,4,6-(CH(3))(3)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(CO)(2)] (4), which results from hydride insertion into the quinonic double bond. Protonation of 2 and 3 leads to the formation of the methylene arenium derivative [Os{4-(CH(2))-1-(OH)-2,6-(CH(3))(2)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(H)(PPh(3))][OSO(2)CF(3)] (5 a). The diphosphine 1 reacts with [OsCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] at 100 degrees C under H(2) to afford [Os{1-(OH)-2,6-(CH(3))(2)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(H(2))(PPh(3))] (6), a PCP pincer complex resulting formally from C(sp(2))--C(sp(3)) cleavage of the C--CH(3) group in 1. C--C hydrogenolysis resulting in the same complex is achieved by heating 2 under H(2) pressure. Reaction of the diphosphine substrate with [OsCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] under H(2) at lower temperature allows the observation of a methylene arenium derivative resulting from C--H activation, [Os{4-(CH(2))-1-(OH)-2,6-(CH(3))(2)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(2)(H)] (7). This compound reacts with PPh(3) in toluene to afford the ionic derivative [Os{4-(CH(2))-1-(OH)-2,6-(CH(3))(2)-3,5-(iPr(2)PCH(2))(2)C(6)}(Cl)(H)(PPh(3))]Cl (5 b). X-ray diffraction studies have been carried out on compounds 2, 3, 4, 5 b, 6, and 7, which allows the study of the structural variations when going from methylene arenium to quinone methide derivatives.  相似文献

The ferrocene-based trimethylsilyl chalcogenide reagents [FcC(O)OCH(2)CH(2)ESiMe(3)] (2, E=S, 3 E=Se, Fc=[Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(5))(η(5)-C(5)H(4))]) and [FcC(O)NHCH(2)CH(2) SSiMe(3)] (8b) have been synthesized. The reagents were reacted with solubilized transition-metal acetates to yield functionalized complexes and clusters, including the spherical nanocluster [Ag(14)S{SCH(2)CH(2)O(O)CFc)}(12)(PPh(3))(6)] (11, PPh(3) =triphenylphosphine). The complexes were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The electrochemical behavior of the complexes was explored by cyclic voltammetry and each displayed a single quasi-reversible redox wave with some adsorption to the electrode surface.  相似文献

Reactions of 1,1'-bis(dipheny1phosphino)cobaltocene with Co(PMe(3))(4), Ni(PMe(3))(4), Fe(PMe(3))(4), Ni(COD)(2), FeMe(2)(PMe(3))(4) or NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3) afford a series of novel dinuclear complexes [((Me(3)P)[lower bond 1 start]Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2)))((Me(3)P)M[upper bond 1 end](η(5)-C(5)H(4)P[lower bond 1 end]Ph(2)))] (M = Co(1), Ni(2) and Fe(3)) [Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)Ni[upper bond 1 end](COD)](4), [Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)Ni[upper bond 1 end](PMe(3))(2)] (5) and [((Me(3)P)[lower bond 1 start]Co(Me)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2)))((Me(3)P)Fe[upper bond 1 end](Me)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)P[lower bond 1 end]Ph(2)))] (6). Reactions of 1,1'-bis(dipheny1phosphino)ferrocene with Ni(PMe(3))(4), NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3), or Co(PMe(3))(4) gives rise to complexes [Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)M[upper bond 1 end](PMe(3))(2)] (M = Ni (7), Co (8)). The complexes 1-8 were spectroscopically investigated and studied by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The possible reaction mechanisms and structural characteristics are discussed. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations strongly support the deductions.  相似文献

Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(Cl)(OH(2))] (1) with CN(-) under various conditions affords (PPh(4))[Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(CN)(Cl)] (2), (PPh(4))(2)[Os(VI)(N)(L(2))(CN)(2)] (3), and a novel hydrogen cyanamido complex, (PPh(4))(2)[Os(III){N(H)CN}(L(3))(CN)(3)] (4). Compound 4 reacts readily with both electrophiles and nucleophiles. Protonation and methylation of 4 produce (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNH(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (5) and (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNMe(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (6), respectively. Nucleophilic addition of NH(3), ethylamine, and diethylamine readily occur at the C atom of the hydrogen cyanamide ligand of 4 to produce osmium guanidine complexes with the general formula [Os(III){N(H)C(NH(2))NR(1)R(2)}(L(3))(CN)(3)](-) , which have been isolated as PPh(4) salts (R(1) = R(2) = H (7); R(1) = H, R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (8); R(1) = R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (9)). The molecular structures of 1-5 and 7 and 8 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Although the pentacoordinated complex [Ir{(allyl)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)(2)}(cod)] (1; pz=pyrazolyl, cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene), isolated from the reaction of [{Ir(mu-Cl)(cod)}(2)] with [Li(tmen)][B(allyl)(CH(2)PPh(2))- (pz)(2)] (tmen=N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine), shows behavior similar to that of the related hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borate complex, the carbonyl derivatives behave in a quite different way. On carbonylation of 1, the metal--metal-bonded complex [(Ir{(allyl)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)(2)}CO)(2)(mu-CO)] (2) that results has a single ketonic carbonyl bridge. This bridging carbonyl is labile such that upon treatment of 2 with PMe(3) the pentacoordinated Ir(I) complex [Ir(CO){(pz)B(eta(2)-CH(2)CH=CH(2))(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)}(PMe(3))] (3) was isolated. Complex 3 shows a unique fac coordination of the hybrid ligand with the allyl group eta(2)-bonded to the metal in the equatorial plane of a distorted trigonal bipyramid with one pyrazolate group remaining uncoordinated. This unusual feature can be rationalized on the basis of the electron-rich nature of the metal center. The related complex [Ir(CO){(pz)B(eta(2)-CH(2)CH=CH(2))(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)}(PPh(3))] (4) was found to exist in solution as a temperature-dependent equilibrium between the cis-pentacoordinated and trans square planar isomers with respect to the phosphorus donor atoms. Protonation of 3 with different acids is selective at the iridium center and gives the cationic hydrides [Ir{(allyl)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)(2)}(CO)H(PMe(3))]X (X=BF(4) (5), MeCO(2) (6), and Cl (7)). Complex 7 further reacts with HCl to generate the unexpected product [Ir(CO)Cl{(Hpz)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)CH(2)CH(Me)}(PMe(3))]Cl (9; Hpz=protonated pyrazolyl group) formed by the insertion of the hydride into the Ir-(eta(2)-allyl) bond. In contrast, protonation of complex 4 with HCl stops at the hydrido complex [Ir{(allyl)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(pz)(2)}(CO)H(PPh(3))]Cl (8). X-ray diffraction studies carried out on complexes 2, 3, and 9 show the versatility of the hybrid scorpionate ligand in its coordination.  相似文献

Reactions of Cp(2)TiCl(2) (Cp = eta(5)-cyclopentadienide) with 2 or 1 equiv of hybrid P-S ligands (L), (CH(3))(2)P(CH(2))(n)()S(-) (n = 2, dmpet; n = 3, dmppt), produced new dicyclopentadienyltitanium(IV) complexes with L, Cp(2)Ti(L-kappaS)(2) (1, L = dmpet; 2, L = dmppt) and [Cp(2)Ti(L-kappa(2)S,P)]BPh(4) (3, L = dmpet; 4, L = dmppt). The Ti(III) complexes, Cp(2)Ti(L-kappa(2)S,P) (5, L = dmpet; 6, L = dmppt), were prepared by the reaction of Cp(2)Ti(eta(3)-C(3)H(5)) with 1 equiv of L. The structures of complexes 1-6 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. It was found that complexes 3 and 5 were isostructural around Ti(IV) and Ti(III) centers: the Ti(IV)-S bond length in 3 (2.3498(9) A) is shorter by 0.14 A than Ti(III)-S in 5 (2.4877(7) A), while Ti(IV)-P (2.534(1) A) was merely 0.05 A shorter than Ti(III)-P (2.5844(7) A). The redox potential between 3 and 5 in acetonitrile was -1.14 V vs the ferricinium/ferrocene couple. A heterobimetallic complex that has the frame of complex 1, [Cp(2)Ti(dmpet)(2)Cu]PF(6) (7), was also isolated and structurally characterized: the Ti-Cu distance (2.95(1) A) was shorter than that in [Cp(2)Ti(SC(2)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Cu]BF(4), previously reported by White and Stephan. Structural characterization was also carried out for CpTi(dmpet-kappaS)(2)(dmpet-kappa(2)S,P) (8) and CpTiCl(2)(dmppt-kappa(2)S,P) (9), which were obtained by the reactions of Cp(or Cp)TiCl(3) (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)(-)) with n equiv (n = 1-3) of L. The mutual site-exchange reaction between phosphorus atoms on a coordinated dmpet in the kappa(2)S,P mode and on two other coordinated dmpet's in the kappaS mode within complex 8 was analyzed by the variable-temperature (31)P[(1)H] dynamic NMR method. The kinetic parameters for this process, k(ex)(298) = 1.9 x 10(5) s(-)(1), DeltaH = 48 kJ mol(-)(1), and DeltaS = 17 J mol(-)(1) K(-)(1), as well as the rather long Ti(IV)-P distance (2.652(1) A), indicate the fluxional nature of the coordination geometry in complex 8.  相似文献
