The highly electrophilic, coordinatively unsaturated, 16-electron [Ru(P(OH)3)(dppe)2][OTf]2 (dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) complex 1 activates the H-H, the Si-H, and the B-H bonds, in H2(g), EtMe2SiH and Et3SiH, and H3B.L (L = PMe3, PPh3), respectively, in a heterolytic fashion. The heterolysis of H2 involves an eta2-H2 complex (observable at low temperatures), whereas the computations indicate that those of the Si-H and the B-H bonds proceed through unobserved eta1-species. The common ruthenium-containing product in these reactions is trans-[Ru(H)(P(OH)3)(dppe)2][OTf], 2. The [Ru(P(OH)3)(dppe)2][OTf]2 complex is unique with regard to activating the H-H, the Si-H, and the B-H bonds in a heterolytic manner. These reactions and the heterolytic activation of the C-H bond in methane by the model complex [Ru(POH)3)(H2PCH2CH2PH2)2][Cl][OTf], 4, have been investigated using computational methods as well, at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ level. While the model complex activates the H-H, the Si-H, and the B-H bonds in H2, SiH4, and H3B.L (L = PMe3, PPh3), respectively, with a low barrier, activation of the C-H bond in CH4 involves a transition state of 57.5 kcal/mol high in energy. The inability of the ruthenium complex to activate CH4 is due to the undue stretching of the C-H bond needed at the transition state, in comparison to the other substrates.  相似文献

Chloro complexes [RuCl(N-N)P3]BPh4 (1-3) [N-N = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpy; 1,10-phenanthroline, phen; 5,5'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine, 5,5'-Me2bpy; P = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2 and PPh2OEt] were prepared by allowing the [RuCl4(N-N)].H2O compounds to react with an excess of phosphite in ethanol. The bis(bipyridine) [RuCl(bpy)2[P(OEt)3]]BPh4 (7) complex was also prepared by reacting RuCl2(bpy)2.2H2O with phosphite and ethanol. Treatment of the chloro complexes 1-3 and 7 with NaBH4 yielded the hydride [RuH(N-N)P3]BPh4 (4-6) and [RuH(bpy)2P]BPh4 (8) derivatives, which were characterized spectroscopically and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of [RuH(bpy)[P(OEt)3]3]BPh4 (4a). Protonation reaction of the new hydrides with Br?nsted acid was studied and led to dicationic [Ru(eta2-H2)(N-N)P3]2+ (9, 10) and [Ru(eta(2-H2)(bpy)2P]2+ (11) dihydrogen derivatives. The presence of the eta2-H2 ligand was indicated by a short T(1 min) value and by the measurements of the J(HD) in the [Ru](eta2-HD) isotopomers. From T(1 min) and J(HD) values the H-H distances of the dihydrogen complexes were also calculated. A series of ruthenium complexes, [RuL(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 and [RuL(bpy)2P](BPh4)2 (P = P(OEt)3; L = H2O, CO, 4-CH3C6H4NC, CH3CN, 4-CH3C6H4CN, PPh(OEt)2], was prepared by substituting the labile eta2-H2 ligand in the 9, 10, 11 derivatives. The reactions of the new hydrides 4-6 and 8 with both mono- and bis(aryldiazonium) cations were studied and led to aryldiazene [Ru(C6H5N=NH)(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 (19, 21), [[Ru(N-N)P3]2(mu-4,4'-NH=NC6H4-C6H4N=NH)](BPh4)4 (20), and [Ru(C6H5N=NH)(bpy)2P](BPh4)2 (22) derivatives. Also the heteroallenes CO2 and CS2 reacted with [RuH(bpy)2P]BPh4, yielding the formato [Ru[eta1-OC(H)=O](bpy)2P]BPh4 and dithioformato [Ru[eta1-SC(H)=S](bpy)2P]BPh4 derivatives.  相似文献

Reaction of the ruthenium half sandwich compound RuCl(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))(2) with the uracil (Ur) substituted alkyne HC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CUr in the presence of halide scavengers NH(4)X (X = PF(6), BF(4), OTf) results in the formation of the vinylidene complexes [Ru([double bond, length as m-dash]C[double bond, length as m-dash]CHUr)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))(2)][X] which crystallize in the hexagonal space group P6(3)/m. The hexagonal symmetry inherent to the system is due to the formation of a hydrogen bonded array mediated by the two sets of donor-acceptor units on the uracil, resulting in the formation of a cyclic "rosette" containing six ruthenium cations. In solution the (1)H and (31)P{(1)H} NMR spectra of the vinylidene complexes are both concentration and temperature dependent, in accord with the presence of monomer-dimer equilibria in which the rate of rotation of the vinylidene group is fast on the NMR timescale in the monomeric species, but slow in the dimers. The isoelectronic molybdenum-containing vinylidene complex [Mo(eta(7)-C(7)H(7))(dppe)([double bond, length as m-dash]C[double bond, length as m-dash]CHUr)][BF(4)] (dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) has also been prepared, but forms symmetric dimers in the solid state.  相似文献

[Cp*Rh(eta1-NO3)(eta2-NO3)] (1) reacted with pyrazine (pyz) to give a dinuclear complex [Cp*Rh(eta1-NO3)(mu-pyz)(0.5)]2.CH2Cl2(3.CH2Cl2). Tetranuclear rectangles of the type [Cp*Rh(eta1,mu-X)(mu-L)(0.5)]4(OTf)4(4a: X = N3, L = bpy; 4b: X = N3, L = bpe; 4c: X = NCO, L = bpy) were prepared from [Cp*Rh(H2O)3](OTf)2 (2), a pseudo-halide (Me3SiN3 or Me3SiNCO), and a linear dipyridyl [4,4'-bipyridine (bpy) or trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe)] by self-assembly through one-pot synthesis at room temperature. Treating complex with NH4SCN and dipyridyl led to the formation of dinuclear rods, [Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)3]2(LH2) (5a: L = bpy; 5b: L = bpe), in which two Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)3 units are connected by the diprotonated dipyridyl (LH2(2+)) through N(+)-H...N hydrogen bonds. Reactions of complex 2 with 1-(trimethylsilyl)imidazole (TMSIm) and dipyridyl (bpy or bpe) also produced another family of dinuclear rods [Cp*Rh(ImH)3]2.L (6a: L = bpy; 6b: L = bpe). Treating 1 and 2 with TMSIm and NH4SCN (in the absence of dipyridyl) generated a 1-D chain [Cp*Rh(ImH)3](NO3)2 (7) and a 1-D helix [Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)2(eta1-SHCN)].H2O (8.H2O), respectively. The structures of complexes 3.CH2Cl2, 4a.H2O, 4c.2H2O, 5b, 6a, 7 and 8.H2O were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The irradiation of ruthenium-sulfur dioxide complexes of general formula trans-[Ru(II)(NH(3))(4)(SO(2))X]Y with laser light at low temperature results in linkage isomerization of SO(2), starting with eta(1)-planar S-bound to eta(2)-side S,O-bound SO(2). The solid-state photoreaction proceeds with retention of sample crystallinity. Following work on trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)Cl(eta(1)-SO(2))]Cl and trans-[Ru(NH(3))(4)(H(2)O)(eta(1)-SO2)](C(6)H(5)SO(3))(2) (Kovalevsky, A. Y.; Bagley, K. A.; Coppens, P. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2002, 124, 9241-9248), we describe photocrystallographic, IR, DSC, and theoretical studies of trans-[Ru(II)(NH(3))(4)(SO(2))X]Y complexes with (X = Cl(-), H(2)O, or CF(3)COO(-) (TFA(-))) and a number of different counterions (Y = Cl(-), C(6)H(5)SO(3)(-), Tos(-), or TFA(-)). Low temperature IR experiments indicate the frequency of the asymmetric and symmetric stretching vibrations of the Ru-coordinated SO(2) to be downshifted by about 100 and 165 cm(-1), respectively. Variation of the trans-to-SO(2) ligand and the counterion increases the MS2 decay temperature from 230 K (trans-[Ru(II)(NH(3))(4)(SO(2))Cl]Cl) to 276 K (trans-[Ru(II)(NH(3))(4)(SO(2))(H(2)O)](Tos)(2)). The stability of the MS2 state correlates with increasing sigma-donating ability of the trans ligand and the size of the counterion. Quantum chemical DFT calculations indicate the existence of a third eta(1)-O-bound (MS1) isomer, the two metastable states being 0.1-0.6 eV above the energy of the ground-state complex.  相似文献

Treatment of cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) with dithiocarbamates, NaS2CNR2 (R = Me, Et) and [H2NC5H10][S2CNC5H10], yields cations [Ru(S2CNR2)2(dppm)2](+) and [Ru(S2CNC5H10)2(dppm)2](+), respectively. The zwitterions S2CNC4H8NHR (R = Me, Et) react with the same metal complex in the presence of base to yield [Ru(S2CNC4H8NR)(dppm)2](+). Piperazine or 2,6-dimethylpiperazine reacts with carbon disulfide to give the zwitterionic dithiocarbamate salts H2NC4H6(R2-3,5)NCS2 (R = H; R = Me), which form the complexes [Ru(S2CNC4H6(R2-3,5)NH2)(dppm)2](2+) on reaction with cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2]. Sequential treatment of [Ru(S2CNC4H8NH2)(dppm)2](2+) with triethylamine and carbon disulfide forms the versatile metalla-dithiocarbamate complex [Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)(dppm)2] which reacts readily with cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] to yield [{Ru(dppm)2}2(S2CNC4H8NCS2)]. Reaction of [Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)(dppm)2] with [Os(CH=CHC6H4Me-4)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh3)2] (BTD = 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole), [Pd(C6H4CH2NMe2)Cl]2, [PtCl2(PEt3)2], and [NiCl2(dppp)] (dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) results in the heterobimetallic complexes [(dppm)2Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)ML(n))](m+) (ML(n) = Os(CH=CHC6H4Me-4)(CO)(PPh3)2](+), m = 1; ML(n) = Pd(C,N-C6H4CH2NMe2), m = 1; ML(n) = Pt(PEt3)2, m = 2; ML(n) = Ni(dppp), m = 2). Reaction of [NiCl2(dppp)] with H2NC4H8NCS2 yields the structurally characterized compound, [Ni(S2CNC4H8NH2)(dppp)](2+), which reacts with base, CS2, and cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] to provide an alternative route to [(dppm)2Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)Ni(dppp)](+). A further metalla-dithiocarbamate based on cobalt, [CpCo(S2CNC4H8NH2)(PPh3)](2+), is formed by treatment of CpCoI2(CO) with S2CNC4H8NH2 followed by PPh3. Further reaction with NEt3, CS2, and cis-[RuCl2(dppm)2] yields [(Ph3P)CpCo(S2CNC4H8NCS2)Ru(dppm)2](2+). Heterotrimetallic species of the form [{(dppm)2Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)}2M](2+) result from the reaction of [Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)(dppm)2] and M(OAc)2 (where M = Ni, Cu, Zn). Reaction of [Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)(dppm)2] with Co(acac)3 and LaCl3 results in the formation of the compounds [{(dppm)2Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)}3Co](3+) and [{(dppm)2Ru(S2CNC4H8NCS2)}3La](3+), respectively. The electrochemical behavior of selected examples is also reported.  相似文献

Five new monocationic dihydrogen complexes of ruthenium of the type trans-[RuCl(eta(2)-H(2))(PP)(2)][BF(4)] (PP = bis-1,2(diarylphosphino)ethane, aryl = p-fluorobenzyl, 1a, benzyl, 2a, m-methylbenzyl, 3a, p-methylbenzyl, 4a, p-isopropylbenzyl, 5a) have been prepared by protonating the precursor hydride complexes trans-[RuCl(H)(PP)(2)] using HBF(4).OEt(2). The dihydrogen complexes are quite stable and have been isolated in the solid state. The intact nature of the H-H bond in these derivatives has been established from the short spin-lattice relaxation times (T1, ms) and observation of substantial H, D couplings in the HD isotopomers. The H-H bond distances (dHH, A) increase systematically from 0.97 to 1.03 A as the electron-donor ability of the substituent on the diphosphine ligand increases from the p-fluorobenzyl to the p-isopropylbenzyl moiety. The d(HH) in trans-[Ru(eta(2)-H(2))(Cl)((C(6)H(5)CH(2))(2)PCH(2)CH(2)P(CH(2)C(6)H(5))(2))(2)][BF(4)], 2a, was found to be 1.08(5) A by X-ray crystallography. In addition, two new 16-electron dicationic dihydrogen complexes of the type [Ru(eta(2)-H(2))(PP)(2)][OTf](2) (PP = (ArCH(2))(2)PCH(2)CH(2)P(CH(2)Ar)(2), Ar = m-CH(3)C(6)H(4-), 6a, p-CH(3)C(6)H(4)-, 7a) have also been prepared and characterized. These derivatives were found to possess elongated dihydrogen ligands.  相似文献

Two methodologies of C-C bond formation to achieve organometallic complexes with 7 or 9 conjugated carbon atoms are described. A C7 annelated trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru=C=C=C-CH=C(CH2)-C[triple bond]C-Ru(dppe)2Cl][X] (X = PF6, OTf) complex is obtained from the diyne trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru-(C[triple bond]C)2-R] (R = H, SiMe3) in the presence of [FeCp2][PF6] or HOTf, and C7 or C9 complexes trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru-(C[triple bond]C)n-C(CH3)=C(R1)-C(R2)=C=C=Ru(dppe)2Cl][X] (n = 1, 2; R1 = Me, Ph, R2 = H, Me; X = BF4, OTf) are formed in the presence of a polyyne trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru-(C[triple bond]C)n-R] (n = 2, 3; R = H, SiMe3) with a ruthenium allenylidene trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru=C=C=C(CH2R1)R2][X]. These reactions proceed under mild conditions and involve cumulenic intermediates [M+]=(C=)nCHR (n = 3, 5), including a hexapentaenylidene. A combination of chemical, electrochemical, spectroscopic (UV-vis, IR, NIR, EPR), and theoretical (DFT) techniques is used to show the influence of the nature and conformation of the bridge on the properties of the complexes and to give a picture of the electron delocalization in the reduced and oxidized states. These studies demonstrate that the C7 bridging ligand spanning the metal centers by almost 12 angstroms is implicated in both redox processes and serves as a molecular wire to convey the unpaired electron with no tendency for spin localization on one of the halves of the molecules. The reactivity of the C7 complexes toward protonation and deprotonation led to original bis(acetylides), vinylidene-allenylidene, or carbyne-vinylidene species such as trans-[Cl(dppe)2Ru[triple bond]C-CH=C(CH3)-CH=C(CH3)-HC=C=Ru(dppe)2Cl][BF4]3.  相似文献

The highly electrophilic, 16-electron, coordinatively unsaturated [Ru(P(OMe)(OH)(2))(dppe)(2)][OTf](2) complex brings about the heterolytic activation of H(2)(g) and spontaneously generates HOTf. In addition, trans-[Ru(H)(P(OMe)(OH)(2))(dppe)(2)](+) and an unprecedented example of a phosphorous acid complex, [Ru(P(OH)(3))(dppe)(2)](2+), are formed. The [Ru(P(OMe)(OH)(2))(dppe)(2)][OTf](2) complex also cleaves the Si-H bond in EtMe(2)SiH in a heterolytic fashion, resulting in the trans-[Ru(H)(P(OMe)(OH)(2))(dppe)(2)](+) derivative.  相似文献

Ruthenium nitrosyl complexes containing the Kl?ui's oxgyen tripodal ligand L(OEt)(-) ([CpCo{P(O)(OEt)(2)}(3)](-) where Cp = η(5)-C(5)H(5)) were synthesized and their photolysis studied. The treatment of [Ru(N^N)(NO)Cl(3)] with [AgL(OEt)] and Ag(OTf) afforded [L(OEt)Ru(N^N)(NO)][OTf](2) where N^N = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridyl (dtbpy) (2·[OTf](2)), 2,2'-bipyridyl (bpy) (3·[OTf](2)), N,N,N'N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (4·[OTf](2)). Anion metathesis of 3·[OTf](2) with HPF(6) and HBF(4) gave 3·[PF(6)](2) and 3·[BF(4)](2), respectively. Similarly, the PF(6)(-) salt 4·[PF(6)](2) was prepared by the reaction of 4·[OTf](2) with HPF(6). The irradiation of [L(OEt)Ru(NO)Cl(2)] (1) with UV light in CH(2)Cl(2)-MeCN and tetrahydrofuran (thf)-H(2)O afforded [L(OEt)RuCl(2)(MeCN)] (5) and the chloro-bridged dimer [L(OEt)RuCl](2)(μ-Cl)(2) (6), respectively. The photolysis of complex [2][OTf](2) in MeCN gave [L(OEt)Ru(dtbpy)(MeCN)][OTf](2) (7). Refluxing complex 5 with RNH(2) in thf gave [L(OEt)RuCl(2)(NH(2)R)] (R = tBu (8), p-tol (9), Ph (10)). The oxidation of complex 6 with PhICl(2) gave [L(OEt)RuCl(3)] (11), whereas the reduction of complex 6 with Zn and NH(4)PF(6) in MeCN yielded [L(OEt)Ru(MeCN)(3)][PF(6)] (12). The reaction of 3·[BF(4)](2) with benzylamine afforded the μ-dinitrogen complex [{L(OEt)Ru(bpy)}(2)(μ-N(2))][BF(4)](2) (13) that was oxidized by [Cp(2)Fe]PF(6) to a mixed valence Ru(II,III) species. The formal potentials of the RuL(OEt) complexes have been determined by cyclic voltammetry. The structures of complexes 5,6,10,11 and 13 have been established by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reaction of the group 9 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [Cp*M(SH)2(PMe3)] (M=Rh, Ir; Cp*=eta(5)-C 5Me5) with the group 6 nitrosyl complexes [Cp*M'Cl2(NO)] (M'=Mo, W) in the presence of NEt3 affords a series of bis(sulfido)-bridged early-late heterobimetallic (ELHB) complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (2a, M=Rh, M'=Mo; 2b, M=Rh, M'=W; 3a, M=Ir, M'=Mo; 3b, M=Ir, M'=W). Similar reactions of the group 10 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [M(SH)2(dppe)] (M=Pd, Pt; dppe=Ph 2P(CH2) 2PPh2), [Pt(SH)2(dppp)] (dppp=Ph2P(CH2) 3PPh2), and [M(SH)2(dpmb)] (dpmb=o-C6H4(CH2PPh2)2) give the group 10-group 6 ELHB complexes [(dppe)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), [(dppp)Pt(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (6a, M'=Mo; 6b, M'=W), and [(dpmb)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), respectively. Cyclic voltammetric measurements reveal that these ELHB complexes undergo reversible one-electron oxidation at the group 6 metal center, which is consistent with isolation of the single-electron oxidation products [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*][PF6] (M=Rh, Ir; M'=Mo, W). Upon treatment of 2b and 3b with ROTf (R=Me, Et; OTf=OSO 2CF 3), the O atom of the terminal nitrosyl ligand is readily alkylated to form the alkoxyimido complexes such as [Cp*Rh(PMe3)(mu-S)2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. In contrast, methylation of the Rh-, Ir-, and Pt-Mo complexes 2a, 3a, and 6a results in S-methylation, giving the methanethiolato complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][BPh 4] (M=Rh, Ir) and [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][OTf], respectively. The Pt-W complex 6b undergoes either S- or O-methylation to form a mixture of [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)W(NO)Cp*][OTf] and [(dppp)Pt(mu-S) 2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. These observations indicate that O-alkylation and one-electron oxidation of the dinuclear nitrosyl complexes are facilitated by a common effect, i.e., donation of electrons from the group 9 or 10 metal center, where the group 9 metals behave as the more effective electron donor.  相似文献

The labile nature of the coordinated water ligands in the organometallic aqua complex [Ru(dppe)(CO)(H(2)O)(3)][OTf](2) (1) (dppe = Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2); OTf = OSO(2)CF(3)) has been investigated through substitution reactions with a range of incoming ligands. Dissolution of 1 in acetonitrile or dimethyl sulfoxide results in the facile displacement of all three waters to give [Ru(dppe)(CO)(CH(3)CN)(3)][OTf](2) (2) and [Ru(dppe)(CO)(DMSO)(3)][OTf](2) (3), respectively. Similarly, 1 reacts with Me(3)CNC to afford [Ru(dppe)(CO)(CNCMe(3))(3)][OTf](2) (4). Addition of 1 equiv of 2,2'-bipyridyl (bpy) or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridyl (Me(2)bpy) to acetone/water solutions of 1 initially yields [Ru(dppe)(CO)(H(2)O)(bpy)][OTf](2) (5a) and [Ru(dppe)(CO)(H(2)O)(Me(2)bpy)][OTf](2) (6a), in which the coordinated water lies trans to CO. Compounds 5a and 6a rapidly rearrange to isomeric species (5b, 6b) in which the ligated water is trans to dppe. Further reactivity has been demonstrated for 6b, which, upon dissolution in CDCl(3), loses water and coordinates a triflate anion to afford [Ru(dppe)(CO)(OTf)(Me(2)bpy)][OTf] (7). Reaction of 1 with CH(3)CH(2)CH(2)SH gives the dinuclear bridging thiolate complex [[(dppe)Ru(CO)](2)(mu-SCH(2)CH(2)CH(3))(3)][OTf] (8). The reaction of 1 with CO in acetone/water is slow and yields the cationic hydride complex [Ru(dppe)(CO)(3)H][OTf] (9) via a water gas shift reaction. Moreover, the same mechanism can also be used to account for the previously reported synthesis of 1 upon reaction of Ru(dppe)(CO)(2)(OTf)(2) with water (Organometallics 1999, 18, 4068).  相似文献

Coordination of N,N' bidentate ligands aryl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-amine ArNH-CH2-2-C5H4N 1 (Ar = 4-CH3-C6H4, 1a; 4-CH3O-C6H4, 1b; 2,6-(CH3)2-C6H3, 1c; 4-CF3-C6H4, 1d) to the moieties [Ru(bipy)2]2+, [Ru(eta5-C5H5)L]+ (L = CH3CN, CO), or [Ru(eta6-arene)Cl]2+ (arene = benzene, p-cymene) occurs under diastereoselective or diastereospecific conditions. Detailed stereochemical analysis of the new complexes is included. The coordination of these secondary amine ligands activates their oxidation to imines by molecular oxygen in a base-catalyzed reaction and hydrogen peroxide was detected as byproduct. The amine-to-imine oxidation was also observed under the experimental conditions of cyclic voltammetry measurements. Deprotonation of the coordinated amine ligands afforded isolatable amido complexes only for the ligand (1-methyl-1-pyridin-2-yl-ethyl)-p-tolyl-amine, 1e, which doesn't contain hydrogen atoms in a beta position relative to the N-H bond. The structures of [Ru(2,2'-bipyridine)2(1b)](PF6)2, 2b; [Ru(2,2'-bipyridine)(2)(1c)](PF6)2, 2c; trans-[RuCl2(COD)(1a)], 3; and [RuCl2(eta6-C6H6)(1a)]PF6, 4a, have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Insertion of CS(2) into the Ru-H bond of cis-[(dppe)(2)Ru(H)(2)] takes place to afford the hydride dithioformate complex trans-[(dppe)(2)Ru(H)(SC(S)H)]. The hydride dithioformate complex reacts under very mild conditions with MeX (X = OTf, I) to give the hydride methyldithioformate derivative trans-[(dppe)(2)Ru(H)(SC(SMe)H)][X]. Three different pathways have been found to cleave off the ester moiety from the metal complex. A method to recover the ruthenium starting material upon elimination of the methyldithioformate is presented. This is a novel case of C(1) chemistry using carbon disulfide.  相似文献

trans-[(H(2)NCH(2)CH(2)C triple bond N)(dppe)(2)Ru(C triple bond C)(6)Ru(dppe)(2)(N triple bond CCH(2)CH(2)NH(2))][PF(6)](2), 2[PF(6)](2), a derivative of trans-[Cl(dppe)(2)Ru(C triple bond C)(6)Ru(dppe)(2)Cl] functionalized for binding to a silicon substrate, has been prepared and characterized spectroscopically, electrochemically, and with a solid state, single-crystal structure determination. Covalent binding via reaction of one amine group to a boron-doped, smooth Si-Cl substrate is verified by XPS measurements and surface electrochemistry. Vertical orientation is demonstrated by film thickness measurements. Synthesis of the 2[PF(6)](3) mixed-valence complex on the surface is established by electrochemical techniques. Measurement of the ac capacitance of the film at 1 MHz as a function of voltage across the film with a pulse-counter pulse technique demonstrates controlled electric field generation of the two stable mixed-valence forms differing in the spatial location of one electron, that is, switching. As compared to [trans-Ru(dppm)(2)(C triple bond CFc)(NCCH(2)CH(2)NH(2))][PF(6)][Cl], 1[PF(6)][Cl], the magnitude of the capacitance signal per complex observed on switching is shown to increase with increasing distance between the metal centers. Additional experiments on 1[X][Cl] show that the potential for switching 1[X][Cl] increases in the order [X](-) = [SO(3)CF(3)](-) < [PF(6)](-) < [Cl](-). A simple electrostatic model suggests that the smaller is the counterion, the greater is the perturbation of the metal sites and the larger is the barrier for switching.  相似文献

Treatment of trans-[PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)](R = Me, Et) with the hydrazone oximes MeC(=NOH)C(R')=NNH(2)(R' = Me, Ph) at 45 degrees C in CH(2)Cl(2) led to the formation of trans-[PtCl(4)(NH=C(R)ON=C(Me)C(R')=NNH(2))(2)](R/R' = Me/Ph 1, Et/Me 2, Et/Ph 3) due to the regioselective OH-addition of the bifunctional MeC(=NOH)C(R')=NNH(2) to the nitrile group. The reaction of 3 and Ph(3)P=CHCO(2)Me allows the formation of the Pt(II) complex trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NNH(2))2](4). In 4, the imine ligand was liberated by substitution with 2 equivalents of bis(1,2-diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) in CDCl(3) to give, along with the free ligand, the solid [Pt(dppe)(2)]Cl(2). The free iminoacyl hydrazone, having a restricted life-time, decomposes at 20-25 degrees C in about 20 h to the parent organonitrile and the hydrazone oxime. The Schiff condensation of the free NH(2) groups of 4 with aromatic aldehydes, i.e. 2-OH-5-NO(2)-benzaldehyde and 4-NO(2)-benzaldehyde, brings about the formation of the platinum(II) complexes trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NN=CH(C(6)H(3)-2-OH-5-NO(2))2](5) and trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NN=CH(C(6)H(4)-4-NO(2))2](6), respectively, containing functionalized remote peripherical groups. Metallization of 5, which can be considered as a novel type of metallaligand, was achieved by its reaction with M(OAc)(2).nH(2)O (M = Cu, n= 2; M = Co, n= 4) in a 1:1 molar ratio furnishing solid heteronuclear compounds with composition [Pt]:[M]= 1:1. The complexes were characterized by C, H, N elemental analyses, FAB+ mass-spectrometry, IR, 1H, 13C[1H] and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopies; X-ray structures were determined for 3, 4 and 5.  相似文献

Thermal reactions between [RuCl2(diene)]n (diene = 2,5-norbornadiene, nbd; 1,5-cyclooctadiene, cod) with an excess of N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylene diamine (tmeda) afforded derivatives [RuCl2(diene)(tmeda)] (diene = nbd, 1; cod, 2) as a mixture of cis and trans isomers. When thermolysis was performed under H2 mixtures of hydride species [RuCl(H)(diene)(tmeda)] (diene = nbd, 3; cod, 4) and the bis-tmeda adduct trans-[RuCl2(tmeda)2] (5) were obtained in different ratios depending upon the reaction conditions and reaction times. Heating polymeric Ru(II) precursors in toluene in the presence of a 5-fold excess of the bulkier N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylene diamine (teeda) resulted in a rare diamine dealkylation process with formation of trans-[RuCl2(nbd)(Et2NCH2CH2NHEt)] (6) and trans-[RuCl2(cod)(EtHNCH2CH2NHEt)] (7) in high yields. The presence of N-H functionalities in the coordinated diamine ligands of 6 and 7 was unambiguously established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The dealkylation process of the teeda ligand seems to proceed intramolecularly as shown by solution NMR studies performed with the soluble Ru(II) precursors trans-[RuCl2(amine)2(diene)] (diene = nbd, amine = morpholine, 9; diene = cod, amine = Et2NH, 10). The above complexes [RuCl2(diene)(diamine)] have been tested as precatalysts in the hydrogenation of ketones both for transfer as well as direct hydrogenation, the latter route being the most effective.  相似文献

The reaction of trans-[RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)] (Ph = C(6)H(5)) with 2-thio-1,3-pyrimidine (HTPYM) and 6-thiopurines (TPs) produced mainly crystalline solids that consist of cis,cis,trans-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(N,S-TPYM)(2)] (1) and cis,cis,trans-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(N(7),S-TPs)(2)]X(2) (X = Cl(-), CF(3)SO(3)(-)). In the case of TPs, other coordination isomers have never been isolated and reported. Instead, the mother liquor obtained after filtration of 1 produced red single crystals of trans,cis,cis-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(N,S-TPYM)(2)].2H(3)O(+).2Cl(-) (2.2H(3)O(+).2Cl(-)). Selected ruthenium(II)-thiobase complexes were studied for their structural, reactivity, spectroscopic, redox, and cytotoxic properties. Single crystals of 1 contain thiopyrimidinato anions chelated to the metal center via N and S. The Ru[bond]N bonds are significantly elongated for 1 [2.122(2) and 2.167(2) A] with respect to 2 [2.063(3) A] because of the trans influence from PPh(3). The coordination pseudo-octahedron for 2 is significantly elongated at the apical sites (PPh(3) ligands). Solutions of cis, cis, trans isomers in air are stable for weeks, whereas those of 2 turn green within 24 h, in agreement with the respective redox potentials. cis,cis,trans- and trans,cis,cis-[Ru(PH(3))(2)(N,S-TPYM)(2)], as optimized through the DFT methods at the Becke3LYP level are in good agreement with experimental geometrical parameters (1 and 2), with cis, cis, trans being more stable than trans, cis, cis by 3.88 kcal. The trend is confirmed by molecular modeling based on semiempirical (ZINDO/1) and molecular mechanics (MM) methods. Cytotoxic activity measurements for cis,cis,trans-[Ru(PPh(3))(N-THZ)(N(7),S -H(2)TP)(2)]Cl(2) (4) (THZ = thiazole, H(2)TP = 6-thiopurine) and cis,cis,trans-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(N(7),S-HTPR)2]Cl(2) (5) (HTPR = 6-thiopurine riboside) against ovarian cancer cells A2780/S gave IC(50) values of 17 +/- 1 and 29 +/- 9 microM, respectively. Furthermore, the spectral analysis of HTPYM, TPs, and their Ru(II) complexes in solution shows that intense absorptions occur in the UVA/vis region of light, whereas standard nucleobases absorb in the UVB region.  相似文献

Reaction of the proligand Ph2PN(SiMe3)2 (L1) with WCl6 gives the oligomeric phosphazene complex [WCl4(NPPh2)]n, 1 and subsequent reaction with PMe2Ph or NBu4Cl gives [WCl4(NPPh2)(PMe2Ph)] (2) or [WCl5(NPPh2)][NBu4] (3), respectively. DF calculations on [WCl5(NPPh2)][NBu4] show a W=N double bond (1.756 A) and a P-N bond distance of 1.701 A, which combined with the geometry about the P atom suggests, there is no P-N multiple bonding. Reaction of L1 with [ReOX3(PPh3)2] in MeCN (X = Cl or Br) gives [ReX2(NC(CH3)P(O)Ph2)(MeCN)(PPh3)](X = Cl, 4, X = Br, 5) which contains the new phosphorylketimido ligand. It is bound to the rhenium centre with a virtually linear Re-N-C arrangement (Re-N-C angle = 176.6 degrees, when X = Cl) and there is multiple bonding between Re and N (Re-N = 1.809(7) A when X = Cl). The proligand Ph2PNHNMe2(L2H) reacts with [(C5H5)TiCl3] to give [(C5H5)TiCl2(Me2NNPPh2)] (6). An X-ray crystal structure of the complex shows the ligand (L2) is bound by both nitrogen atoms. Reaction of the proligands Ph2PNHNR2[R2 = Me2 (L2H), -(CH2CH2)2NCH3 (L3H), (CH2CH2)2CH2 (L4H)] with [{RuCl(mu-Cl)(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)}2] gave [RuCl2(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)L] {L = L2H (7), L3H (8), L4H (9)}. The X-ray crystal structures of 7-9 confirmed that the phosphinohydrazine ligand is neutral and bound via the phosphorus only. Reaction of complexes 7-9 with AgBF4 resulted in chloride ion abstraction and the formation of the cationic species [RuCl(6-p-MeC6H4iPr)(L)]+ BF4- {(L = L2H (10), L3H (11), L4H (12)}. Finally, reaction of complex 6 with [{RuCl(mu-Cl)(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)}2] gave the binuclear species [(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)Cl2Ru(mu2,eta3-Ph2PNNMe2)TiCl2(C5H5)], 13.  相似文献

The octahedral Ru(II) amine complexes [TpRu(L)(L')(NH(2)R)][OTf] (L = L' = PMe(3), P(OMe)(3) or L = CO and L' = PPh(3); R = H or (t)Bu) have been synthesized and characterized. Deprotonation of the amine complexes [TpRu(L)(L')(NH(3))][OTf] or [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(2)(t)Bu)][OTf] yields the Ru(II) amido complexes TpRu(L)(L')(NH(2)) and TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(t)Bu). Reactions of the parent amido complexes or TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(t)Bu) with phenylacetylene at room temperature result in immediate deprotonation to form ruthenium-amine/phenylacetylide ion pairs, and heating a benzene solution of the [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(2)(t)Bu)][PhC(2)] ion pair results in the formation of the Ru(II) phenylacetylide complex TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(C[triple bond]CPh) in >90% yield. The observation that [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(2)(t)Bu)][PhC(2)] converts to the Ru(II) acetylide with good yield while heating the ion pairs [TpRu(L)(L')(NH(3))][PhC(2)] yields multiple products is attributed to reluctant dissociation of ammonia compared with the (t)butylamine ligand (i.e., different rates for acetylide/amine exchange). These results are consistent with ligand exchange reactions of Ru(II) amine complexes [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(2)R)][OTf] (R = H or (t)Bu) with acetonitrile. The previously reported phenyl amido complexes TpRuL(2)(NHPh) [L = PMe(3) or P(OMe)(3)] react with 10 equiv of phenylacetylene at elevated temperature to produce Ru(II) acetylide complexes TpRuL(2)(C[triple bond]CPh) in quantitative yields. Kinetic studies indicate that the reaction of TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NHPh) with phenylacetylene occurs via a pathway that involves TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(OTf) or [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(2)Ph)][OTf] as catalyst. Reactions of 1,4-cyclohexadiene with the Ru(II) amido complexes TpRu(L)(L')(NH(2)) (L = L' = PMe(3) or L = CO and L' = PPh(3)) or TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(t)Bu) at elevated temperatures result in the formation of benzene and Ru hydride complexes. TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(H), [Tp(PMe(3))(2)Ru[double bond]C[double bond]C(H)Ph][OTf], [Tp(PMe(3))(2)Ru=C(CH(2)Ph)[N(H)Ph]][OTf], and [TpRu(PMe(3))(3)][OTf] have been independently prepared and characterized. Results from solid-state X-ray diffraction studies of the complexes [TpRu(CO)(PPh(3))(NH(3))][OTf], [TpRu(PMe(3))(2)(NH(3))][OTf], and TpRu(CO)(PPh(3))(C[triple bond]CPh) are reported.  相似文献
