Extending the knowledge related to nitrogen-containing compounds presents an important interest for the petroleum industry due to their implication in atmosphere pollution as well as their inhibitive or refractive behaviour towards hydroprocessing. Most of the nitrogenated species are concentrated in heavy petroleum cuts. As no analytical method is resolutive enough for these heavy cuts, particularly regarding nitrogen-containing compounds, a new approach is needed. For this reason, this study focuses on the development of a GC×GC technique, through the hyphenation of a specific NCD detector with a GC×GC system at high temperature. The performances of highly polar thermally stable stationary phases, in particular those composed of promising ionic liquids, were monitored in normal and reversed configurations. Subsequently, after the extraction of neutral or basic compounds by adsorption on an ion-exchange resin, a first quantitative determination was attempted for a straight-run and a direct coal liquefaction vacuum gas oils. This study led to a better understanding of the behaviour of highly aromatic N-compounds by 2D-GC including an ionic liquid phase as well as a deeper N-characterization of heavy petroleum fractions.  相似文献

Nitrogen-containing compounds in diesel fuel have been speciated by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with nitrogen chemiluminescence detector (GC x GC-NCD). The speciation of nitrogen-containing compounds in diesel is difficult because of low concentration and complexity. The advantages of GC x GC are improved resolution and enhanced sensitivity. GC x GC-NCD can achieve the type and class separation of nitrogen-containing compounds with an appropriate separation column combination. Diesel contains both neutral (indoles and carbazoles) and basic (pyridines and quinolines) nitrogen-containing compounds. Relative concentrations of each class as well as each carbon number family can be quantified by integrating their peak volumes. This study demonstrates the capability of GC x GC-NCD for speciation of nitrogen-containing compound classes.  相似文献

Diesel fuels from different parts of the UK have been analyzed for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), nitrogen-containing PAH, and sulfur-containing PAH using capillary column GC with simultaneous parallel triple detection. The concentrations of polyaromatic compounds (PAC) were high and showed considerable variability amongst the fuels. The PAH are mainly naphthalene, fluorene, and phenanthrene and their alkylated homologs; the PANH are mainly carbazole and its methyl derivatives; the PASH are mainly dibenzothiophene and its methyl derivatives.  相似文献

The concentration and identity of the compounds detected in the vapor above six ionic liquids by headspace gas chromatography (HS-GC) at 100 degrees C are reported. In addition, the partition coefficients for 10 different compounds in these ionic liquids and limits of detection were measured. These results provide quantitative guidance for the application of ionic liquids for HS-GC.  相似文献

Electrochemical properties of ionic liquids (pyridinium and imidazolium salts) and the effect of additives of organic solvents on the electrochemical determination of organic compounds in ionic liquids have been studied. Transformations of aromatic and aliphatic sulfur compounds in ionic liquids in the presence of aromatic substrates are discussed. A new method has been proposed for identification of organic sulfur compounds–gas chromatography on columns with ionic liquid as the active phase.  相似文献

以氯乙酸乙酯和氮杂环化合物(1-甲基咪唑、吡啶、N-乙基哌啶、N-甲基吗啉)为原料, 采用两步法合成了一类新型的酯类离子液体, 对合成的12个化合物进行了元素分析, 1H NMR谱和一些物理性质的测定. 大多数化合物的熔点低于100 ℃, 为室温离子液体. 所合成离子液体的热稳定范围都比较宽, 性质稳定.  相似文献

A simple method to predict the densities of a range of ionic liquids from their surface tensions, and vice versa, using a surface-tension-weighted molar volume, the parachor, is reported. The parachors of ionic liquids containing 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium cations were determined experimentally, but were also calculated directly from their structural compositions using existing parachor contribution data for neutral compounds. The calculated and experimentally determined parachors were remarkably similar, and the latter data were subsequently employed to predict the densities and surface tensions of the investigated ionic liquids. Using a similar approach, the molar refractions of ionic liquids were determined experimentally, as well as calculated using existing molar refraction contribution data for uncharged compounds. The calculated molar refraction data were employed to predict the refractive indices of the ionic liquids from their surface tensions. The errors involved in the refractive index predictions were much higher than the analogous predictions employing the parachor, but nevertheless demonstrated the potential for developing parachor and molar refraction contribution data for ions as tools to predict ionic liquid physical properties.  相似文献

Ionic liquids are a class of solvents widely studied in the literature for various applications. As a subclass of ionic liquids, redox ionic liquids can endow charge exchange properties (electrons transfer) to these electrolytes for electrochemical energy storage. In this review article, we propose to study this family of ionic liquids and suggest a chronological classification. We introduce five generations of redox ionic liquids with different basic compounds such as polyethylene glycol, ferrocene, different linker lengths, TFSI anion, and biredox ionic liquids. The versatility of the redox ionic liquids synthesis will be discussed as well as the fundamental and applied aspects of their use as electrolytes, which have high charge densities. The impact of the redox ionic liquids on the electrochemical mechanisms will be described. We also present how the redox shuttle effect, detrimental to supercapacitors, can be prevented while it can be used to improve lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

A procedure for using ionic liquids to determine volatile impurities in compounds or matrices that are soluble in an ionic liquid is described. Using a conventional autosampler a droplet of ionic liquid solution is suspended in the inlet of the gas chromatograph and analytes are desorbed onto a GC column using splitless injection conditions. Results are presented for 1,2-propanediol, nonane, N,N-dimethylacetamide, and mesitylene in two different compounds in the ionic liquids trihexyltetradecylphosphonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide and trihexyltetradecylphosphonium dicyanamide.  相似文献

采用偏最小二乘(PLS)分析方法对84个有机物在四种不同的离子液体中的溶解度进行基于VolSurf参数的定量构性关系(QSPR)研究,取得较好的结果.训练集模型对预测集具有良好的预测能力.参数分析表明有机物具有较大体积的亲水区域,对溶解度有利,且有机物与离子液体之间的相互作用能约为-0.84kJ·mol-1.一定的疏水性对溶解度也是有利因素,当离子液体具有小体积的疏水取代基,有机物具有不对称的局部疏水区域对溶解度有利,当离子液体具有大体积或多个疏水取代基,有机物较高的疏水体积对溶解度有利.多元线性回归(MLR)显示亲水参数W1最重要,表明分子的亲水性是影响有机物在离子液体中溶解的关键因素.  相似文献

An efficient one-pot procedure for the synthesis of ionic liquids based on nitrogen-containing heterocycles, imidazolium or pyridinium under ‘green chemistry’ conditions has been described. Imidazolium salts and DBU have been found to catalyze efficiently the benzoin condensation giving good yields within very short reaction time using solvent-free microwave activation conditions.  相似文献

Ionic liquids are interesting solvents for a number of applications in chemistry and biotechnology. We characterized five different ionic liquids by laser desorption/ionization (LDI) and by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS) and studied the analysis of amino acids, peptides and proteins dissolved in these solvents. Signals of both anions and cations of the ionic liquids could be observed both in LDI- and in MALDI-MS. In the latter case, adduct formation between anions and cations of the analytes was observed. Amino acids, peptides and proteins could be analyzed in ionic liquids after addition of matrix substances. Sodium and potassium adducts were not observed in any analysis involving ionic liquids. Low molecular mass compounds and peptides could be analyzed best in the presence of water-immiscible ionic liquids, whereas proteins gave the best results in water-miscible ionic liquids. Optimal analysis conditions such as molar matrix-to-analyte and ionic liquid-to-matrix ratios were determined. Homogeneity of samples in the presence of ionic liquids was reduced compared with classical MALDI preparations. Relative quantitation of amino acids was possible using isotope-labeled internal standards. MALDI-MS thus can be used for the analysis of chemical reactions and the screening of enzyme-catalyzed reactions in ionic liquids and for the analysis of the biocatalysts dissolved in these solvents. Theoretical aspects of ion formation in the presence of ionic liquids both in LDI and MALDI analysis are discussed.  相似文献

Ionic liquids have many unique properties as a new and remarkable class of environmental benign solvents,which promises widespread applications in industry and other areas. However,the ionic liq-uids with surface activity are rarely reported. In this work,a series of novel ionic liquids was synthe-sized by using N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and alkyl bromide. N-Alkyl- and N-fluoroalkyl-substituted oxazolidinium- and morpholinium-based quaternary salts and ionic liquids have been synthesized and characterized. Reactions of N-methyloxazolidine (1) or N-methylmorpholine (2) with 3-fluoropropyl bromide or iodopropane in THF at 25 degrees C gave the quaternary salts (3a,b, 4a,b). These salts were metathesized with various metal salts to yield the corresponding ionic liquids (5a-h, 6a-i). N-Alkoxyethyl- and N-(fluoroalkoxy)ethyl-substituted morpholines (8-11) were prepared and quaternized with methyl iodide (8a-11a). Their corresponding ionic liquids (12-18) were obtained by anion exchange and characterized. For both series of compounds, nitrate, hexafluorophosphate, perchlorate, triflate, and bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide were utilized. Most of the final products are liquids at 25 degrees C and are thermally stable with long liquid ranges as determined by thermal gravimetric analyses. For compounds 12, 16, and 18, thermal stabilities of > or =400 degrees C were observed. All the new compounds were characterized by spectroscopic and elemental analyses. Efficient synthesis of a variety of 3-substituted coumarins via NaOMe-catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation and one-pot preparation of 3,4-unsubstituted coumarins in the presence of NaOMe via Wittig reaction in room-temperature ionic liquids are described. Knoevenagel condensation of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde with dimethyl- and diethylmalonate was performed with excellent yields in room-temperature ionic liquids. Although diethyl- and dimethylchloromalonates were mostly recovered unchanged in Knoevenagel condensation, higher conversions were observed via Wittig reaction of these compounds with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde derivatives and triphenylphosphine. Other 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde derivatives, methyl- and ethylchloroacetates, were reacted in ionic liquids to afford simple coumarins in good yields. These reactions widen the applicability of ionic liquid in organic synthesis.  相似文献

This paper reports on the synthesis of new short aliphatic chain ionic liquids and the study of the temperature dependence of density, ultrasonic velocities, and ionic conductivity in the range of 278.15-338.15 K. Fourier transform infrared spectra establishes their simple ionic salt structure. Because of their polarity, the ionic liquids are able to dissolve polar solvents and inorganic salts, all of them showing high tolerance in hydroxylic media. The observed temperature trend of the studied properties points out the special packing of these ionic liquids, as well as the strong influence of the steric hindrance among linear aliphatic residues enclosed in anions and cations. One of them showed a very high melting temperature. A collection of slightly basic ionic liquids were used to test their catalytic activity in several aldol condensation reactions of some carbonyl compounds. The best conversions and selectivities were obtained using single ionic liquids, with no synergetic effects being observed when different concentrations of mixed ionic liquids were used as catalysts. In any case, the ionic liquid can also easily be recycled from reaction media, suggesting a promising method of process design for this kind of reaction.  相似文献
