A series of novel high molecular weight fluorinated co‐polyimides (Co‐PIs) containing styryl side chain based on 1,3‐bis(2‐trifluoromethyl‐4‐aminophenoxy)‐5‐(2,3,4,5‐tetrafluorophenoxy)benzene (6FTFPB) were successfully synthesized. The weight‐average molecular weights (Mws) and polydispersities of the co‐polyimides were in the range 8.93–10.81 × 104 and 1.33–1.82, respectively. The co‐polyimide film showed excellent solubility in organic solvents, high tensile properties (tensile strength exceeded 91 MPa), excellent optical transparency (cutoff wavelength at 332–339 nm and light transparencies above 89% at a wavelength of 550 nm), and high thermal stability (5% thermal weight‐loss temperature up to 510 °C). The casting and spinning films could be cross‐linked by thermal curing. The cured films show better combination property (including excellent resistance to solvents) than that of co‐polyimides. For instance, the glass transition temperature of Co‐PI‐1 (the molar weight ratio of 6FTFPB was 30%) increased from 217 to 271 °C, the tensile strength enhanced from 94 to 96 MPa, the 5% thermal weight‐loss temperature improved from 514 to 525 °C. Moreover, after cured, Co‐PI‐1 film also has a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) value of 60.3 ppm °C?1, low root mean square surface roughness (Rq) at 4.130 nm and low dielectric constant of 2.60. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A diamine containing heterocyclic pyridine and unsymmetrical carbazole substituents, 4‐(9‐ethyl‐3‐carbazole)‐2,6‐bis(4‐aminophenyl)pyridine ( CBAPP ), was prepared for use in the synthesis of poly(pyridine‐imide)s PI‐1–8 by direct polycondensation with dianhydrides in N,N‐dimethylacetamide (DMAc). The poly(pyridine‐imide)s derived from the diamine are highly soluble in solvents such as N‐Methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP) and DMAc at room temperature. Noncoplanar polyimide (PI‐1) showed excellent solubility, high transparency, and high‐performance mechanical properties. These polymers had relatively high glass transition temperatures and exhibited good thermal stability in both nitrogen (Td10 > 470 °C) and air (Td10 > 450 °C). The PI‐3~5 cannot form flexible and tough films due to the unsymmetrical carbazole moiety, rigid structure, and polar–polar interaction. However, through copolymerization technique these polymers (PI‐6~8) could be enhanced through the solubility, mechanical, and thermal properties. The optical properties included a strong orange fluorescence (540 nm) after protonation with acid. When the HCl concentration was increased, a new absorption band at approximately 350 nm appeared, and the intensity of the fluorescent peak at 380 nm observed in the neutral polymer solution decreased, along with the appearance of the new fluorescent peak at 540 nm. The poly(pyridine‐imide)s presented here showed only slight fluorescence quenching in the presence of methanol. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. A colorless and high temperature resistant fluorinated polyimide (PI) film based on a novel cross-linkable diamine monomer 4,4′-diamino-4″-(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-ethylenephenoxy) triphenylmethane (DFPTM) was successfully prepared. The special triphenylmethane backbone and the bulky tetrafluorostyrol pendant group in DFPTM gave the PI material eximious solubility in organic solvents, high tensile properties, good thermal stability, and excellent optical transparency (cutoff wavelength for 331 nm and light transmittance above 94% at 450 nm). Furthermore, the styryl could initiate self-crosslinking reaction to form a dense three-dimensional network structure by thermal curing. Hence, the cross-linked PI film showed superior combination property (including excellent resistance to solvents). It's Tg increased by 57.1–306.0°C, the 5% thermal weight-loss temperature improved by 10.2% to 500.0°C, and the tensile strength enhanced by 17.5% to 39.7 MPa. Moreover, after thermal curing, the cross-linked PI attained a lower elongation at break from 8.1 to 3.9%, and the thermal expansion coefficient reduced from 82.2 to 68.8 ppm/°C without obvious loss of optical transparency (cutoff wavelength for 347 nm and light transmittance remained 93.0% at 450 nm).  相似文献

A new asymmetric diamine containing diarylimodazole pendant was synthesized from the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 1-fluoro-4-nitrobenzene and 2,4-dihydroxy benzaldehyde in the presence of K2CO3, followed by reaction with benzil and ammonium acetate for the preparation of imidazole ring. This novel diamine was used to prepare poly(amide-ether) (PAE) in reaction with different commercially available dicarboxylic acids via direct polycondensation using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine (Py) as catalyst. The PAEs were fully characterized and their properties such as inherent viscosity, solubility, optical, thermal and kinetics of thermal decomposition, and electrochemical oxidation were investigated. The polymers had inherent viscosity in the range of 0.47–0.65 dL/g and were noncrystalline with excellent solubility in various polar aprotic organic solvents. Their Tg values ranged from 200 to 355°C and 10% weight loss temperature above 450°C in nitrogen and left more than 70% residue at 650°C. The kinetic parameters of thermal degradation such as activation energy, entropy, enthalpy and Gibbs free energy of thermal decomposition have been evaluated using different equations. We also report electrochemical oxidation of the resulting polymers in aqueous solution by using cyclic voltammetry technique on the multi-walled carbon nanotube-modified glassy carbon electrode.  相似文献

A series of polyimides containing ether and ketone moieties were synthesized from 1,3‐bis(4‐fluorobenzoyl) benzene and several commercially available dianhydrides via a conventional two‐step polymerization. The inherent viscosities of Polyamide acids ranged from 0.46 to 0.73 dL/g. Thermal properties, mechanical properties, and thermalplasticity of the obtained polimide films were investigated by focusing on the chemical structures of their repeat units. These films were amorphous, flexible, and transparent. All films displayed low Tgs (184–225 °C) but also excellent thermal stability, the 5% weight loss temperature was up to 542 °C under nitrogen. The films showed outstanding mechanical properties with the modulus up to 3.0 GPa and the elongation at break in the range of 8–160%. The uniaxial stretching of PI‐a at high temperature was studied owing to its excellent flexibility. The PI‐a had an elongation at break up to 1600% at 245 °C and the uniaxially stretched film exhibited a much higher modulus (3.9 GPa) and strength (240 MPa) than undrawn film. The results indicated that PI‐a can potentially be used to prepare materials such as fiber, ultra‐thin film or ultra‐high modulus film. All the obtained films also demonstrated excellent thermoplasticity (drop of E′ at Tg > 103) which made the polyimides more suitable for melt processing. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of organo-soluble polyimides were prepared from a novel fluorinated diamine monomer, 4-phenyl-2,6-bis[4-(4′-amino-2′-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]pyridine and various commercial aromatic dianhydrides. These polyimides had good solubility in common organic solvents. The obtained strong and flexible PI films exhibited excellent thermal stability with the decomposition temperature (at 5% weight loss) of above 561 °C and the glass transition temperature in the range of 258-312 °C. Moreover, the polymer films showed good electrical insulating property, low dielectric constant and low water uptake due to the introduction of fluorinated substitutes in the polymer backbone. The remarkable combined features ensure these polymers to be ideal candidate materials for advanced microelectronic industry and other related applications.  相似文献

A series of new organic‐soluble polyamides (PAs) bearing flexible thioether linkages and heteroaromatic thiazole units were synthesized from a novel thioether‐bridged diamine monomer (DA) and various commercially available aromatic dicarboxylic acids (1–5) via a direct polycondensation method. The resulting polymers were obtained in high yields and possessed inherent viscosities in the range of 0.41–0.80 dL g?1. All of the polymers were amorphous in nature, exhibited good solubility and could be easily dissolved in amide‐type polar aprotic solvents and even dissolved in less polar solvents (e.g., tetrahydrofuran, pyridine, and acetone). They showed excellent thermal stability with glass transition temperatures between 207 and 239 °C and 10% weight loss temperatures in excess of 424 °C in nitrogen and 469 °C in air atmosphere. The optical transmittances of the PA films at 450 nm were higher than 85% for the thickness of ~10 μm. The combination of the thiazole moieties and flexible thioether linkages provided PAs with high average refractive indices (nav) of 1.7414–1.7542 and low birefringences (Δn) of 0.0061–0.0087 at 632.8 nm. In particular, the nav of PA‐5 derived from DA and 2,2′‐dithiodibenzoic acid exhibited the highest refractive index (1.7542) in the high refractive index PAs. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Three diamine monomers with different derivatives of imidazole heterocyclic ring and meta-linked aryl ethers were synthesized and used in polycodensation reaction with various commercial dianhydrides for preparation of a series of novel poly(ether-imide) (PEI)s. The polycodensation reactions were carried out by using conventional method and in a green medium of ionic liquid (IL) without using NMP-pyridine-acetic anhydride. The PEIs were obtained in good yields (80% 96%) with moderate viscosity (0.48 0.66 dL/g) in a shorter reaction time (10 h) in IL as compared with the conventional method (36 h). All of the polymers were amorphous in nature, showed excellent solubility in amide-type polar aprotic solvents with ability to form tough and flexible films, and excellent thermal stability with Tgs in the range of 212 340 ℃ and 10% weight loss temperature (T10) up to 570℃ in N 2 and 528 ℃ in air.  相似文献

A series of novel polyimides (PIs) ( 3a–d ) were prepared from 3,3′,5,5′‐tetramethyl‐4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl‐4 ″ ‐isopropyltoluene ( 1 ) with four aromatic dianhydrides via a one‐step high temperature polycondensation procedure. The obtained PIs showed excellent solubility, with most of them dissoluble at a concentration of 10 wt % in amide polar solvents and chlorinated solvents. Their films were nearly colorless and exhibited high‐optical transparency, with the UV cutoff wavelength in the range of 328–353 nm and the transparency at 450 nm >80%. They also showed low‐dielectric constant (2.49–2.94 at 1 MHz) and low‐water absorptions (0.44–0.65%). Moreover, these PIs possessed high‐glass transition temperatures (Tg) beyond 327 °C and excellent thermal stability with 10% weight loss temperatures in the range of 530–555 °C in nitrogen atmosphere. In comparison with some fluorinated poly(ether imide)s derived from the trifluoromethyl‐substituted bis(ether amine)s, the resultant PIs 3a–d showed better solubility, lower cutoff wavelength, and higher Tg. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel aromatic diamine monomer, 3,3′‐diisopropyl‐4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl‐3′′,4′′‐difluorophenylmethane (PAFM), was successfully synthesized by coupling of 2‐isopropylaniline and 3,4‐difluorobenzaldehyde. The aromatic diamine was adopted to synthesize a series of fluorinated polyimides by polycondensation with various dianhydrides: pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), 3,3′,4,4′‐biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA), 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) and 3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) via the conventional one‐step method. These polyimides presented excellent solubility in common organic solvents, such as N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N‐dimethyl acetamide (DMAc), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP), chloroform (CHCl3), tetrahydrofuran (THF) and so on. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of fluorinated polyimides were in the range of 260–306°C and the temperature at 10% weight loss in the range of 474–502°C. Their films showed the cut‐off wavelengths of 330–361 nm and higher than 80% transparency in a wavelength range of 385–463 nm. Moreover, polymer films exhibited low dielectric properties in the range of 2.76–2.96 at 1 MHz, as well as prominent mechanical properties with tensile strengths of 66.7–97.4 MPa, a tensile modulus of 1.7–2.1 GPa and elongation at break of 7.2%–12.9%. The polymer films also showed outstanding hydrophobicity with the contact angle in the range of 91.2°–97.9°.  相似文献

A novel aromatic diamine monomer bearing tertbutyl and 4‐tertbutylphenyl groups, 3,3′‐ditertbutyl‐4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl‐4′′‐tertbutylphenylmethane (TADBP), was prepared and characterized. A series of non‐coplanar polyimides (PIs) were synthesized via a conventional one‐step polycondensation from TADBP and various aromatic dianhydrides including pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), 3,3′,4,4′‐biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA), 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride (OPDA), 3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) and 4,4′‐(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dipthalic anhydride (6FDA). All PIs exhibit excellent solubility in common organic solvents such as N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N‐dimethylacetamide (DMAc), N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), chloroform (CHCl3), tetrahydrofuran (THF), and so on. Furthermore, the obtained transparent, strong and flexible polyimide films present good thermal stability and outstanding optical properties. Their glass transition temperatures (Tgs) are in the range of 298 to 347°C, and 10% weight loss temperatures are in excess of 490°C with more than 53% char yield at 800°C in nitrogen. All the polyimides can be cast into transparent and flexible films with tensile strength of 80.5–101 MPa, elongation at break of 8.4%–10.5%, and Young's modulus of 2.3–2.8 GPa. Meanwhile, the PIs show the cutoff wavelengths of 302–356 nm, as well as low moisture absorption (0.30% –0.55%) and low dielectric constant (2.78–3.12 at 1 MHz).  相似文献

Several novel poly(pyridinium salt)s with heterocyclic pyridine moieties in their backbones with tosylate and triflimide counterions were prepared by either ring‐transmutation polymerization reaction of phenylated‐bis(pyrylium tosylate) with isomeric pyridine diamines of 4‐phenyl‐2,6‐bis(4‐aminophenyl)pyridine in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) for 48 h at 130–140 °C or by metathesis reaction of the respective tosylate polymers with lithium triflimide in DMSO at about 60 °C. Their chemical structures were characterized by FTIR, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. Their number‐average molecular weights (Mn) were in the range of 8,000–51,000 and their polydispersities in the range of 1.18–2.13 as determined by gel permeation chromatography. They had excellent thermal stabilities of 340–458 °C and high glass transition temperatures >200 °C. As they showed good solubilities in common organic solvents, their solution properties were also characterized for their lyotropic liquid‐crystalline properties with polarizing optical microscopy (POM) studies. Their photoluminescent properties were examined by using a spectrofluorometer in both solution and solid states. Their quantum yields were rather low, which were in the range of 1.3–2.0%. Additionally, hand‐drawn fibers from the melts were examined to determine their morphologies with a number of microscopic techniques including POM, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel ultralow dielectric porous polyimide (PI) films containing adamantane groups was prepared via the thermolysis of polyethylene glycol (PEG) oligomers mixed into PI matrix. Scanning electron microscopy results indicated that the porous PI films showed closed pores with an average diameter of 120 ± 10 nm. Good thermal properties with 5% weight loss temperature of 499 °C in air atmosphere and glass transition temperature in excess of 310 °C were shown for porous PI films. Notably, the ultralow dielectric constant of porous PI films with 1.85 at 1 MHz was obtained and revealed via broadband dielectric spectroscopy. The effects of the chemical structure of the PI matrix and PEG content on the decomposition behavior of PEG and the performance of porous films were investigated. Wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction results indicated that the PI matrix with large d‐spacing generated weaker interactions between the PEG and PI backbone than those of PI matrix with small d‐spacing. As a result, the PEG for the PI matrix with large d‐spacing was completely decomposed. As indicated by the broadband dielectric spectroscopy results, lower dielectric porous PI films were prepared when the PEG contents in the PI matrix increased from 0 to 20 wt %. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A dicarboxylic acid monomer, 5-phthalimidoisophthalic acid, containing a phthalimide pendent group was prepared by the condensation of 5-aminoisophthalic acid and phthalic anhydride in glacial acetic anhydride. The monomer was reacted with various aromatic diamines to produce polyamides using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents. These polyamides were produced with inherent viscosities of 0.64–1.14 dL · g−1. All the polymers, characterized by wide-angle X-ray diffraction, revealed an amorphous nature resulting from the presence of the bulky pendent group. These polyamides exhibited excellent solubility in a variety of solvents such as N- methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), N,N-dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, pyridine, and cyclohexanone. These polyamides showed glass-transition temperatures (Tg's) between 247 and 273 °C (by DSC) and 248 and 337 °C (by a dynamic mechanical analyzer). The thermogravimetric analytic measurement revealed the decomposition temperature at 10% weight-loss temperatures (Td10) ranging from 442 to 530 °C in nitrogen. The polyamides containing phthalimide groups exhibited higher Tg and Td10 values than those having no phthalimide groups. Transparent, tough, and flexible films of these polyamides could be cast from the DMAc solutions. These casting films had tensile strengths ranging from 81 to 126 MPa, elongations at break ranging from 7 to 13%, and tensile moduli ranging from 2.0 to 2.9 GPa. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A novel diamine monomer 1 , 4,4'‐(9H‐fluorene‐9,9‐diyl)‐bis(2‐tert‐butylaniline), was synthesized from 9‐fluorenone and 2‐tert‐butylaniline by the condensation reaction. Then it was polymerized with several commercial aromatic dianhydrides, respectively, to produce polyimides (PIs) by the one‐pot method. The number‐averaged molecular weights of the resulting PIs are in the range of (4.54–8.82) × 104 with polydispersity indices from 2.51 to 4.33 by gel permeation chromatography measurement. They are soluble in many organic solvents and can form transparent and tough films by solution‐casting. The cut‐off wavelengths of UV–vis absorption for the PI films are below 360 nm, which are much lower than that of Kapton film. The light transparency of them is above 90% in the visible light range from 400 to 760 nm. They also display relatively low dielectric constants (from 2.79 to 3.00), low water absorption rates (<1%), and high tensile strength (> 50 MPa). Their excellent solubility and transparency can be attributed to the incorporation of tert‐butyl groups and fluorene units into the rigid backbones of PIs. Simultaneously, they still maintain the high thermal stability (the 5% weight loss temperature in the range from 526 to 539 °C in nitrogen) and the high glass transition temperatures (Tg > 340 °C). © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two fluorinated aromatic bis(o‐aminophenol)s, 1,1‐bis(3′‐amino‐4′‐hydroxyphenyl)‐1‐(3′‐trifluoromethylphenyl)‐2,2,2‐trifluoroethane (6FAP) and 1,1‐bis(3′‐amino‐4′‐hydroxyphenyl)‐1‐(3′,5′‐ditrifluoromethylphenyl)‐2,2,2‐trifluoroethane (9FAP) were synthesized, which were allowed to polycondense with aromatic diacyl chlorides to afford the fluorinated aromatic polybenzoxazoles (PBOs) via a conventional two‐step procedure in which the low‐temperature solution polycondensation process was first performed to yield poly(o‐hydroxyamide)s (PHAs) followed by the thermal cyclodehydration to give the PBOs. Experimental results indicated that the PHAs had inherent viscosities in the range of 0.29–0.68 dL/g, showing excellent solubility in organic solvents. The PHAs could be thermally cyclodehydrated into the corresponding PBOs at 260–370 °C. The obtained PBOs exhibited enhanced glass‐transition temperature but decreased solubility with respect to the PHAs. The PBOs showed glass‐transition temperatures in the range of 315–337 °C and excellent thermal stabilities with 5% original weight‐loss temperatures (T5) of >513 °C. Additionally, the PBO films had average refractive index of 1.5298–1.5656, birefringence of 0.0051–0.0092, and low dielectric constants of 2.57–2.70. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of poly(aryl ether)s were successfully prepared via aromatic nucleophilic substitution reaction from various bisphenols and a novel bipolar aryl difluoride monomer containing electron‐donor triphenylamine and electron‐acceptor 1,2,4‐triazole moieties. The poly(aryl ether)s exhibited excellent solubility in organic solvents such as dimethylformamide, chloroform, and tetrahydrofuran at room temperature. The poly(aryl ether)s showed high thermal stability with Td10 higher than 500 °C and glass transition temperatures (Tg) higher than 187 °C. The thin films of the poly(aryl ether)s indicated bistable resistive switching behavior with ON/OFF current ratios as high as 103. The switching on and switching off bias voltages of the poly(aryl ether)s were affected by the bisphenol moiety. The good resistive switching behavior of the poly(aryl ether)s made them promising candidates for future nonvolatile memory applications. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. New fluorinated aromatic poly (ether ketone amide)s containing cardo structures were prepared by a heterogeneous palladium‐catalyzed polycondensation of fluorinated aromatic diiodides with ether ketone units, aromatic diamines containing cardo groups, and CO. Polymerizations were conducted in N,N‐dimethylacetamide at 120°C using 6 mol% of magnetic nanoparticles‐supported bidentate phosphine palladium (II) complex [Fe3O4@SiO2‐2P‐PdCl2] as catalyst and 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5,4,0]‐7‐undecene as base and resulted in fluorinated cardo poly (ether ketone amide)s with inherent viscosities up to 0.75 dL/g. All the polymers were readily soluble in many organic solvents and could afford transparent, flexible, and strong films by solution casting. These polymers showed good thermal stability with the glass transition temperature of 237°C–258°C, the temperature at 5% weight loss of 462°C–477°C in nitrogen. These polymer films also exhibited good mechanical properties, excellent electrical and dielectric performance, and high optical transparency. The incorporation of bulky fluorinated groups and cardo structures into polymer backbone has played an important role in the improvement of solubility, dielectric performance, and optical properties. Importantly, the heterogeneous palladium catalyst can easily be recovered from the reaction mixture by simply applying an external magnet and recycled up to 7 times without significant loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

This work reports the synthesis and characterization of diamantane‐based polyimides obtained from 4,9‐bis[4(3,4‐dicarboxyphenoxy)phenyl]diamantane dianhydride and various aromatic diamines. Interestingly, the diamantane‐based polyimides were very stable to hydrolysis. This novel polyimide exhibits a low dielectric constant (2.65–2.77), low moisture absorption (<0.67%), good solubility, high Tg and unusually high thermal stability. Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) reveals that the diamantane‐based polyimides have high Tg ranging from 281 to 379 °C. The high‐temperature β1 subglass transition around 285 °C was observed in polyimide 6a derived from 2,2′‐bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine. This class of novel diamantane‐based polyimide is very promising for electronic applications, because of its good mechanical properties, good thermal stability, low dielectric constant, excellent hydrolytic resistance, and low moisture absorption. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel polyamide‐imides III containing 2,6‐bis(phenoxy)naphthalene units were synthesized by 2,6‐bis(4‐aminophenoxy)naphthalene and various bis(trimellitimide)s in N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP) using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents through direct polycondensation. The polymers were obtained in quantitative yield with inherent viscosities up to 1.53 dL/g. Most of the polymers showed good solubility in NMP, N,N‐dimethylacetamide, N,N‐dimethylformamide, and dimethyl sulfoxide and could be solution‐cast into transparent, flexible, and tough films. The films had tensile strengths of 84–111 MPa, elongations at break of 8–33%, and initial moduli of 2.2–2.8 GPa. Wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction revealed that most polymers III were amorphous. The glass‐transition temperatures of some of the polymers could be determined by differential scanning calorimetry traces, recorded at 247–290 °C. The polyamide‐imides exhibited excellent thermal stabilities and had 10% weight loss at temperatures in the range of 501–575 °C under nitrogen atmosphere. They left more than 57% residue even at 800 °C in nitrogen. A comparative study of some corresponding polyamide‐imides is also presented. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
