Single crystals of a triclinic polymorphic form of mer‐μ‐oxalato‐bis[chloridotripyridinecobalt(II)] pyridine disolvate, [Co2(C2O4)Cl2(C5H5N)6]·2C5H5N, have been prepared by solvothermal methods. The structure and geometric parameters strongly resemble those of the previously reported monoclinic polymorph [Bolte (2006). Acta Cryst. E 62 , m597–m598]. In both polymorphic forms, the dinuclear complex molecules are located on a crystallographic centre of inversion, with the CoII cations in a distorted octahedral environment consisting of a chloride ligand, three pyridine ligands and a chelating bis‐bidentate oxalate ligand. This last serves as a bridging ligand between two CoII cations. The polymorphs differ in the mutual orientation of their pyridine ligands in the dinuclear molecules and in their intermolecular connectivity. In the triclinic polymorph, C—H...O, C—H...Cl, C—H...π and π–π interactions link the dinuclear molecules into a three‐dimensional structure. Pyridine solvent molecules are attached to this structure via weak interactions.  相似文献

The title racemic complex, bis[μ‐N‐(2‐oxidobenzylidene)‐d ,l ‐glutamato(2−)]bis[(isoquinoline)copper(II)] ethanol disolvate, [Cu2(C12H11NO5)2(C9H7N)2]·2C2H6O, adopts a square‐pyramidal CuII coordination mode with a tridentate N‐salicylideneglutamato Schiff base dianion and an isoquinoline ligand bound in the basal plane. The apex of the pyramid is occupied by a phenolic O atom from the adjacent chelate molecule at an apical distance of 2.487 (3) Å, building a dimer located on the crystallographic inversion center. The Cu...Cu spacing within the dimers is 3.3264 (12) Å. The ethanol solvent molecules are hydrogen bonded to the dimeric complex molecules, forming infinite chains in the a direction. The biological activity of the title complex has been studied.  相似文献

The title coordination polymer, [Cd3Co2(CN)12(C2H8N2)4]n, has an infinite two‐dimensional network structure. The asymmetric unit is composed of two crystallographically independent CdII atoms, one of which is located on a twofold rotation axis. There are two independent ethylenediamine (en) ligands, one of which bis‐chelates to the Cd atom that sits in a general position, while the other bridges this Cd atom to that sitting on the twofold axis. The Cd atom located on the twofold rotation axis is linked to four equivalent CoIII atoms via cyanide bridges, while the Cd atom that sits in a general position is connected to three equivalent CoIII atoms via cyanide bridges. In this way, a series of trinuclear, tetranuclear and pentanuclear macrocycles are linked to form a two‐dimensional network structure lying parallel to the bc plane. In the crystal structure, these two‐dimensional networks are linked via N—H...N hydrogen bonds involving an en NH2 H atom and a cyanide N atom, leading to the formation of a three‐dimensional structure. This coordination polymer is only the second example involving a cyanometallate where the en ligand is present in both chelating and bridging coordination modes.  相似文献

Black‐brown needle‐shaped single crystals of [Co2(en)4(O2)(OH)][C4O4]1.5 · 4H2O (en = ethylenediamine) were prepared in aqueous solution at room temperature [space group P$\bar{1}$ (no.2) with a = 800.20(8), b = 1225.48(7), c = 1403.84(9) pm, α = 100.282(5), β = 94.515(7), and γ = 95.596(6)°]. The Co3+ cations [Co(1), Co(2)] are coordinated in an octahedral manner by four nitrogen atoms stemming from the ethylenediamine molecules and two oxygen atoms each from a hydroxo group and a peroxo group, respectively. Both Co3+ coordination polyhedra are connected by a common corner and by the peroxo group leading to the dinuclear [(en)2Co(O2)(OH)Co(en)2]3+ cation. The squarate dianions, not bonded to Co3+, and the [(en)2Co(O2)(OH)Co(en)2]3+ cations are linked by hydrogen bonds forming a three‐dimensional supramolecular network containing water molecules. Magnetic measurements revealed a diamagnetic behavior indicating a low‐spin electron configuration of Co3+. The UV/Vis spectra show two LMCT bands [π*(O22–) → dσ*(Co3+)] at 274 and 368 nm and the d–d transition (1A1g1T1g) at 542 nm. Thermoanalytical investigations in air show that the compound is stable up to 120 °C. Subsequent decomposition processes to cobalt oxide are finished at 460 °C.  相似文献

Self‐assembly of CuCl2, NdCl3, 5‐bromosalicylaldehyde and glycylglycine yields the ion‐pair copper(II)–neodymium(III) complex, poly[[decaaquabis[μ3‐2‐({2‐[(5‐bromo‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]acetyl}azanidyl)acetato]bis[μ2‐2‐({2‐[(5‐bromo‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]acetyl}azanidyl)acetato]tetracopper(II)dineodymium(III)] bis{[2‐({2‐[(5‐bromo‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]acetyl}azanidyl)acetato]cuprate(II)} tetradecahydrate], {[Cu4Nd2(C11H8BrN2O4)4(H2O)10][Cu(C11H8BrN2O4)]2·14H2O}n. The anion is planar and mononuclear, showing an approximately square‐planar coordination of the metal atom, while the cation is a hexanuclear centrosymmetric transition metal–lanthanide (Cu–Nd) heterometallic complex, with the independent copper cations in square‐planar and square‐pyramidal coordinations. The asymmetric unit comprises one half of this cation, one anion and seven solvent water molecules. The positions of the six metal centres in the cation reproduce a Chinese knot arrangement. The dipeptidic Schiff base releases three H atoms and can act as a tetradentate, a pentadentate or a hexadentate ligand. Longer interactions between the pentadentate ligands and the Jahn–Teller CuII cation link the hexanuclear aggregates into cationic chains in the [010] direction in which 14‐ and 22‐membered subloops occur. Extensive hydrogen bonding in three dimensions involves both the coordinated and the solvent water molecules.  相似文献

The crystal structures of acetonitrile solvates of two related lithium calixarene complexes have been determined by low‐temperature single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation. Bis(μ‐5,11,17,23‐tetra‐tert‐butyl‐26,28‐dihydroxy‐25‐methoxy‐27‐oxidocalix[4]arene)dilithium(I) acetonitrile tetrasolvate, [Li2(C45H57O4)2]·4C2H3N or [p‐tert‐butylcalix[4]arene(OMe)(OH)2(OLi)]2·4MeCN, (I), crystallizes with the complex across a centre of symmetry and with four molecules of unbound acetonitrile of crystallization per complex. Tetraacetonitrilebis(μ‐5,11,17,23‐tetra‐tert‐butyl‐26,28‐dihydroxy‐25,27‐dioxidocalix[4]arene)tetralithium(I) acetonitrile octasolvate, [Li4(C44H54O4)2(C2H3N)4]·8C2H3N or {p‐tert‐butylcalix[4]arene(OH)2(OLi)[OLi(NCMe)2]}2·8MeCN, (II), also crystallizes with the complex lying across a centre of symmetry and contains eight molecules of unbound acetonitrile per complex plus four more directly bound to two of the lithium ions, two on each ion. The cores of both complexes are partially supported by O—H...O hydrogen bonds. The methoxy methyl groups in (I) prevent the binding of any more than two Li+ ions, while the corresponding two O‐atom sites in (II) bind an extra Li+ ion each, making four in total. The calixarene cone adopts an undistorted cone conformation in (I), but an elliptical one in (II).  相似文献

The CoII atom in bis(5‐aminotetrazole‐1‐acetato)tetraaquacobalt(II), [Co(C3H4N5O2)2(H2O)4], (I), is octahedrally coordinated by six O atoms from two 5‐aminotetrazole‐1‐acetate (atza) ligands and four water molecules. The molecule has a crystallographic centre of symmetry located at the CoII atom. The molecules of (I) are interlinked by hydrogen‐bond interactions, forming a two‐dimensional supramolecular network structure in the ac plane. The CdII atom in catena‐poly[[cadmium(II)]‐bis(μ‐5‐aminotetrazole‐1‐acetato], [Cd(C3H4N5O2)2]n, (II), lies on a twofold axis and is coordinated by two N atoms and four O atoms from four atza ligands to form a distorted octahedral coordination environment. The CdII centres are connected through tridentate atza bridging ligands to form a two‐dimensional layered structure extending along the ab plane, which is further linked into a three‐dimensional structure through hydrogen‐bond interactions.  相似文献

Binuclear and tetranuclear copper(II) complexes are of interest because of their structural, magnetic and photoluminescence properties. Of the several important configurations of tetranuclear copper(II) complexes, there are limited reports on the crystal structures and solid‐state photoluminescence properties of `stepped' tetranuclear copper(II) complexes. A new CuII complex, namely bis{μ3‐3‐[(4‐methoxy‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]propanolato}bis{μ2‐3‐[(4‐methoxy‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]propanolato}tetracopper(II), [Cu4(C11H13NO3)4], has been synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, FT–IR, solid‐state UV–Vis spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure determination shows that the complex is a stepped tetranuclear structure consisting of two dinuclear [Cu2(L )2] units {L is 3‐[(4‐methoxy‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)amino]propanolate}. The two terminal CuII atoms are four‐coordinated in square‐planar environments, while the two central CuII atoms are five‐coordinated in square‐pyramidal environments. The solid‐state photoluminescence properties of both the complex and 3‐[(2‐hydroxy‐4‐methoxybenzylidene)amino]propanol (H2L ) have been investigated at room temperature in the visible region. When the complex and H2L are excited under UV light at 349 nm, the complex displays a strong blue emission at 469 nm and H2L displays a green emission at 515 nm.  相似文献

In the crystal structures of both title compounds, [1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐methyl‐2‐(2‐oxidobenzylideneaminomethyl)propane‐1,3‐diamine]nickel(II) [2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methyl‐1,3‐bis(2‐oxidobenzylidene)propane‐1,3‐diamine]nickel(II) chloride methanol disolvate, [Ni(C26H25.5N3O3)]2Cl·2CH4O, and [1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐methyl‐2‐(2‐oxidobenzylideneaminomethyl)propane‐1,3‐diamine]zinc(II) perchlorate [2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methyl‐1,3‐bis(2‐oxidobenzylidene)propane‐1,3‐diamine]zinc(II) methanol trisolvate, [Zn(C26H25N3O3)]ClO4·[Zn(C26H26N3O3)]·3CH4O, the 3d metal ion is in an approximately octahedral environment composed of three facially coordinated imine N atoms and three phenol O atoms. The two mononuclear units are linked by three phenol–phenolate O—H...O hydrogen bonds to form a dimeric structure. In the Ni compound, the asymmetric unit consists of one mononuclear unit, one‐half of a chloride anion and a methanol solvent molecule. In the O—H...O hydrogen bonds, two H atoms are located near the centre of O...O and one H atom is disordered over two positions. The NiII compound is thus formulated as [Ni(H1.5L)]2Cl·2CH3OH [H3L is 1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methylpropane‐1,3‐diamine]. In the analogous ZnII compound, the asymmetric unit consists of two crystallographically independent mononuclear units, one perchlorate anion and three methanol solvent molecules. The mode of hydrogen bonding connecting the two mononuclear units is slightly different, and the formula can be written as [Zn(H2L)]ClO4·[Zn(HL)]·3CH3OH. In both compounds, each mononuclear unit is chiral with either a Δ or a Λ configuration because of the screw coordination arrangement of the achiral tripodal ligand around the 3d metal ion. In the dimeric structure, molecules with Δ–Δ and Λ–Λ pairs co‐exist in the crystal structure to form a racemic crystal. A notable difference is observed between the M—O(phenol) and M—O(phenolate) bond lengths, the former being longer than the latter. In addition, as the ionic radius of the metal ion decreases, the M—O and M—N bond distances decrease.  相似文献

As an important class of heterocyclic compounds, 1,3,4‐thiadiazoles have a broad range of potential applications in medicine, agriculture and materials chemistry, and were found to be excellent precursors for the crystal engineering of organometallic materials. The coordinating behaviour of allyl derivatives of 1,3,4‐thiadiazoles with respect to transition metal ions has been little studied. Five new crystalline copper(I) π‐complexes have been obtained by means of an alternating current electrochemical technique and have been characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. The compounds are bis[μ‐5‐methyl‐N‐(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine]bis[nitratocopper(I)], [Cu2(NO3)2(C6H9N3S)2], (1), bis[μ‐5‐methyl‐N‐(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine]bis[(tetrafluoroborato)copper(I)], [Cu2(BF4)2(C6H9N3S)2], (2), μ‐aqua‐bis{μ‐5‐[(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)sulfanyl]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine}bis[nitratocopper(I)], [Cu2(NO3)2(C5H7N3S2)2(H2O)], (3), μ‐aqua‐(hexafluorosilicato)bis{μ‐5‐[(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)sulfanyl]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine}dicopper(I)–acetonitrile–water (2/1/4), [Cu2(SiF6)(C5H7N3S2)2(H2O)]·0.5CH3CN·2H2O, (4), and μ‐benzenesulfonato‐bis{μ‐5‐[(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)sulfanyl]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine}dicopper(I) benzenesulfonate–methanol–water (1/1/1), [Cu2(C6H5O3S)(C5H7N3S2)2](C6H5O3S)·CH3OH·H2O, (5). The structure of the ligand 5‐methyl‐N‐(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine (Mepeta ), C6H9N3S, was also structurally characterized. Both Mepeta and 5‐[(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)sulfanyl]‐1,3,4‐thiadiazol‐2‐amine (Pesta ) (denoted L ) reveal a strong tendency to form dimeric {Cu2L 2}2+ fragments, being attached to the metal atom in a chelating–bridging mode via two thiadiazole N atoms and an allylic C=C bond. Flexibility of the {Cu2(Pesta )2}2+ unit allows the CuI atom site to be split into two positions with different metal‐coordination environments, thus enabling the competitive participation of different molecules in bonding to the metal centre. The Pesta ligand in (4) allows the CuI atom to vary between water O‐atom and hexafluorosilicate F‐atom coordination, resulting in the rare case of a direct CuI…FSiF52− interaction. Extensive three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonding patterns are formed in the reported crystal structures. Complex (5) should be considered as the first known example of a CuI(C6H5SO3) coordination compound. To determine the hydrogen‐bond interactions in the structures of (1) and (2), a Hirshfeld surface analysis has been performed.  相似文献

Two CoII‐based coordination polymers, namely poly[(μ4‐biphenyl‐2,2′,5,5′‐tetracarboxylato){μ2‐1,3‐bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene}dicobalt(II)], [Co2(C16H6O8)(C14H14N4)2]n or [Co2(o,m‐bpta)(1,3‐bimb)2]n ( I ), and poly[[aqua(μ4‐biphenyl‐2,2′,5,5′‐tetracarboxylato){1,4‐bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene}dicobalt(II)] dihydrate], {[Co2(C16H6O8)(C14H14N4)2(H2O)2]·4H2O}n or {[Co2(o,m‐bpta)(1,4‐bimb)2(H2O)2]·4H2O}n ( II ), were synthesized from a mixture of biphenyl‐2,2′,5,5′‐tetracarboxylic acid, i.e. [H4(o,m‐bpta)], CoCl2·6H2O and N‐donor ligands under solvothermal conditions. The complexes were characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and powder X‐ray diffraction analysis. The bridging (o,m‐bpta)4? ligands combine with CoII ions in different μ4‐coordination modes, leading to the formation of one‐dimensional chains. The central CoII atoms display tetrahedral [CoN2O2] and octahedral [CoN2O4] geometries in I and II , respectively. The bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene (bimb) ligands adopt trans or cis conformations to connect CoII ions, thus forming two three‐dimensional (3D) networks. Complex I shows a (2,4)‐connected 3D network with left‐ and right‐handed helical chains constructed by (o,m‐bpta)4? ligands. Complex II is a (4,4)‐connected 3D novel network with ribbon‐like chains formed by (o,m‐bpta)4? linkers. Magnetic studies indicate an orbital contribution to the magnetic moment of I and II due to the longer Co…Co distances. An attempt has been made to fit the χMT results to the magnetic formulae for mononuclear CoII complexes, the fitting indicating the presence of weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the CoII ions.  相似文献

Crystallization experiments with the dinuclear chelate ring complex di‐μ‐chlorido‐bis[(η2‐2‐allyl‐4‐methoxy‐5‐{[(propan‐2‐yloxy)carbonyl]methoxy}phenyl‐κC1)platinum(II)], [Pt2(C15H19O4)2Cl2], containing a derivative of the natural compound eugenol as ligand, have been performed. Using five different sets of crystallization conditions resulted in four different complexes which can be further used as starting compounds for the synthesis of Pt complexes with promising anticancer activities. In the case of vapour diffusion with the binary chloroform–diethyl ether or methylene chloride–diethyl ether systems, no change of the molecular structure was observed. Using evaporation from acetonitrile (at room temperature), dimethylformamide (DMF, at 313 K) or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO, at 313 K), however, resulted in the displacement of a chloride ligand by the solvent, giving, respectively, the mononuclear complexes (acetonitrile‐κN)(η2‐2‐allyl‐4‐methoxy‐5‐{[(propan‐2‐yloxy)carbonyl]methoxy}phenyl‐κC1)chloridoplatinum(II) monohydrate, [Pt(C15H19O4)Cl(CH3CN)]·H2O, (η2‐2‐allyl‐4‐methoxy‐5‐{[(propan‐2‐yloxy)carbonyl]methoxy}phenyl‐κC1)chlorido(dimethylformamide‐κO)platinum(II), [Pt(C15H19O4)Cl(C2H7NO)], and (η2‐2‐allyl‐4‐methoxy‐5‐{[(propan‐2‐yloxy)carbonyl]methoxy}phenyl‐κC1)chlorido(dimethyl sulfoxide‐κS)platinum(II), determined as the analogue {η2‐2‐allyl‐4‐methoxy‐5‐[(ethoxycarbonyl)methoxy]phenyl‐κC1}chlorido(dimethyl sulfoxide‐κS)platinum(II), [Pt(C14H17O4)Cl(C2H6OS)]. The crystal structures confirm that acetonitrile interacts with the PtII atom via its N atom, while for DMSO, the S atom is the coordinating atom. For the replacement, the longest of the two Pt—Cl bonds is cleaved, leading to a cis position of the solvent ligand with respect to the allyl group. The crystal packing of the complexes is characterized by dimer formation via C—H…O and C—H…π interactions, but no π–π interactions are observed despite the presence of the aromatic ring.  相似文献

The title compound, [Co2(C12H11N2)2(C12H10N2)(H2O)8][Co(H2O)6](SO4)4·8H2O, consists of bis(4‐pyridyl)ethenedicobalt(II) cations, hexaaquacobalt cations, sulfate anions and water solvent molecules that are linked by hydrogen bonds into a network structure. In the hexaaquacobalt cation, the six water molecules are coordinated in an octahedral geometry to the Co atom, which lies on an inversion centre. The other cation is a 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene‐bridged centrosymmetric dimer, consisting of protonated 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene cations, a bridging 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene ligand and tetraaquacobalt cations. Each Co atom is six‐coordinated by four water molecules and two N atoms from a protonated 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene cation and the bridging 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene ligand, and the geometry around each Co atom is octahedral.  相似文献

The conformational isomers endo‐ and exo‐[Mo{η3‐C3H4(CH3)}(η2‐pyS)(CO)(η2‐diphos)] (diphos: dppm = {bis(diphenylphosphino)methane}, 2 ; dppe = {1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane}, 3 ) are prepared by reacting the double‐bridged pyridine‐2‐thionate (pyS) complex [Mo{η3‐C3H4(CH3)}(CO)2]212:μ‐pyS)2, 1 with diphos in refluxing acetonitrile. Stereoselectivity of the methallyl, C3H4(CH3), ligand improves the formation of the exo‐conformation of 2 and 3 . Orientations and spectroscopy of these complexes are discussed.  相似文献

The structures of five compounds consisting of (prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine complexed with copper in both the CuI and CuII oxidation states are presented, namely chlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(I) 0.18‐hydrate, [CuCl(C15H17N3)]·0.18H2O, (1), catena‐poly[[copper(I)‐μ2‐(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ5N,N′,N′′:C2,C3] perchlorate acetonitrile monosolvate], {[Cu(C15H17N3)]ClO4·CH3CN}n, (2), dichlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II) dichloromethane monosolvate, [CuCl2(C15H17N3)]·CH2Cl2, (3), chlorido{(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II) perchlorate, [CuCl(C15H17N3)]ClO4, (4), and di‐μ‐chlorido‐bis({(prop‐2‐en‐1‐yl)bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]amine‐κ3N,N′,N′′}copper(II)) bis(tetraphenylborate), [Cu2Cl2(C15H17N3)2][(C6H5)4B]2, (5). Systematic variation of the anion from a coordinating chloride to a noncoordinating perchlorate for two CuI complexes results in either a discrete molecular species, as in (1), or a one‐dimensional chain structure, as in (2). In complex (1), there are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Complex (2) consists of the CuI atom coordinated by the amine and pyridyl N atoms of one ligand and by the vinyl moiety of another unit related by the crystallographic screw axis, yielding a one‐dimensional chain parallel to the crystallographic b axis. Three complexes with CuII show that varying the anion composition from two chlorides, to a chloride and a perchlorate to a chloride and a tetraphenylborate results in discrete molecular species, as in (3) and (4), or a bridged bis‐μ‐chlorido complex, as in (5). Complex (3) shows two strongly bound Cl atoms, while complex (4) has one strongly bound Cl atom and a weaker coordination by one perchlorate O atom. The large noncoordinating tetraphenylborate anion in complex (5) results in the core‐bridged Cu2Cl2 moiety.  相似文献

The self‐assembly of ditopic bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)benzene ligands ( L H) and the complex (2,2′‐bipyridyl‐κ2N,N′)bis(nitrato‐κO)palladium(II) affords the supramolecular coordination complex tris[μ‐bis(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)benzene‐κ2N3:N3′]‐triangulo‐tris[(2,2′‐bipyridyl‐κ2N,N′)palladium(II)] hexakis(hexafluoridophosphate) acetonitrile heptasolvate, [Pd3(C10H8N2)3(C12H10N4)3](PF6)6·7CH3CN, 2 . The structure of 2 was characterized in acetonitrile‐d3 by 1H/13C NMR spectroscopy and a DOSY experiment. The trimeric nature of supramolecular coordination complex 2 in solution was ascertained by cold spray ionization mass spectrometry (CSI–MS) and confirmed in the solid state by X‐ray structure analysis. The asymmetric unit of 2 comprises the trimetallic Pd complex, six PF6? counter‐ions and seven acetonitrile solvent molecules. Moreover, there is one cavity within the unit cell which could contain diethyl ether solvent molecules, as suggested by the crystallization process. The packing is stabilized by weak inter‐ and intramolecular C—H…N and C—H…F interactions. Interestingly, the crystal structure displays two distinct conformations for the L H ligand (i.e. syn and anti), with an all‐syn‐[Pd] coordination mode. This result is in contrast to the solution behaviour, where multiple structures with syn/anti‐ L H and syn/anti‐[Pd] are a priori possible and expected to be in rapid equilibrium.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes of Schiff base ligands have been shown to have particular application in catalysis and magnetism. The chemistry of copper complexes is of interest owing to their importance in biological and industrial processes. The reaction of copper(I) chloride with the bidentate Schiff base N,N′‐bis(trans‐2‐nitrocinnamaldehyde)ethylenediamine {Nca2en, systematic name: (1E,1′E,2E,2′E)‐N,N′‐(ethane‐1,2‐diyl)bis[3‐(2‐nitrophenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐imine]} in a 1:1 molar ratio in dichloromethane without exclusion of air or moisture resulted in the formation of the title complex μ‐chlorido‐μ‐hydroxido‐bis(chlorido{(1E,1′E,2E,2′E)‐N,N′‐(ethane‐1,2‐diyl)bis[3‐(2‐nitrophenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐imine]‐κ2N,N′}copper(II)) dichloromethane sesquisolvate, [Cu2Cl3(OH)(C20H18N4O4)2]·1.5CH2Cl2. The dinuclear complex has a folded four‐membered ring in an unsymmetrical Cu2OCl3 core in which the approximate trigonal bipyramidal coordination displays different angular distortions in the equatorial planes of the two CuII atoms; the chloride bridge is asymmetric, but the hydroxide bridge is symmetric. The chelate rings of the two Nca2en ligands have different conformations, leading to a more marked bowing of one of the ligands compared with the other. This is the first reported dinuclear complex, and the first five‐coordinate complex, of the Nca2en Schiff base ligand. Molecules of the dimer are associated in pairs by ring‐stacking interactions supported by C—H…Cl interactions with solvent molecules; a further ring‐stacking interaction exists between the two Schiff base ligands of each molecule.  相似文献

The other anion and one of the mercaptobenzimidazole molecules bridge the metals through their exocyclic S atoms (μ‐S:S). The second Sbim ligand coordinates in a monodentate fashion (κS) to one Cu atom, while an acetonitrile molecule coordinates to the other Cu atom. The CuI—CuI distance [2.6286 (6) Å] can be considered a strong `cuprophilic' interaction. In the case of [μ‐1H‐benzimidazole‐2(3H)‐thione‐1:2κ2S:S]bis[1H‐benzimidazole‐2(3H)‐thione]‐1κS;2κS‐bis(μ‐1,1‐dioxo‐1λ6,2‐benzothiazole‐3‐thiolato)‐1:2κ2S3:N;1:2κ2S3:S3‐dicopper(I)(CuCu), [Cu2(C7H4NO2S2)2(C7H6N2S)3] or [Cu2(tsac)2(Sbim)3], (II), the acetonitrile molecule is substituted by an additional Sbim ligand, which binds one Cu atom via the exocylic S atom. In this case, the CuI—CuI distance is 2.6068 (11) Å.  相似文献
