Eu3+, Dy3+, and Yb3+ complexes of the dota‐derived tetramide N,N′,N″,N′′′‐[1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetrayltetrakis(1‐oxoethane‐2,1‐diyl)]tetrakis[glycine] (H4dotagl) are potential CEST contrast agents in MRI. In the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes, the Ln3+ ion is in the cage formed by the four ring N‐atoms and the amide O‐atom donor atoms, and a H2O molecule occupies the ninth coordination site. The stability constants of the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes are ca. 10 orders of magnitude lower than those of the [Ln(dota)] analogues (H4dota=1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetraacetic acid). The free carboxylate groups in [Ln(dotagl)] are protonated in the pH range 1–5, resulting in mono‐, di‐, tri‐, and tetraprotonated species. Complexes with divalent metals (Mg2+, Ca2+, and Cu2+) are also of relatively low stability. At pH>8, Cu2+ forms a hydroxo complex; however, the amide H‐atom(s) does not dissociate due to the absence of anchor N‐atom(s), which is the result of the rigid structure of the ring. The relaxivities of [Gd(dotagl)] decrease from 10 to 25°, then increase between 30–50°. This unusual trend is interpreted with the low H2O‐exchange rate. The [Ln(dotagl)] complexes form slowly, via the equilibrium formation of a monoprotonated intermediate, which deprotonates and rearranges to the product in a slow, OH?‐catalyzed reaction. The formation rates are lower than those for the corresponding Ln(dota) complexes. The dissociation rate of [Eu(dotagl)] is directly proportional to [H+] (0.1–1.0M HClO4); the proton‐assisted dissociation rate is lower for [Eu(H4dotagl)] (k1=8.1?10?6 M ?1 s?1) than for [Eu(dota)] (k1=1.4?10?5 M ?1 s?1).  相似文献

A multinuclear NMR study on [Ln(ttha)]3? and [Ln{ttha(NHR)2}]? complexes (R=Et, CH2(CHOH)4CH2OH) shows that coordinating groups of the organic ligands in these complexes are occupying all coordination sites of the metal ions, leaving no space for coordination of H2O molecules (H6ttha=triethylenetetramine‐N,N,N′,N″,N′′′,N′′′‐hexaacetic acid). The lanthanides of the first half of the series bind the ttha‐type ligands in a decadentate fashion, while the complexes formed with the smaller ions of the second half of the lanthanide series are nonadentate. One carboxylate group of the ligand remains unbound in the latter complexes. In principle, the ttha complexes can exist in six enantiomeric forms. Only one of the pair of diastereoisomers can interconvert without decoordination of the ligand. This pair of isomers seems to be predominant in solution. For the [Ln{ttha(NHR)2}]? complexes, the number of chiral centers is larger, resulting in 32 possible enantiomeric forms of the complexes. The NMR spectra of [Nd{ttha(NHEt)2}]? indicate that two dynamic processes occur between the isomers in solution. The NMRD curves of [Gd(ttha)]3?, [Gd{ttha(NHEt)2}]?, and [Gd{ttha(NHgluca)2}]? (NHgluca=D ‐glucamine) show significant differences with the previously determined outer‐sphere contributions to the NMRD profiles of the corresponding [Gd{dtpa(NHR)2}]? complexes, which can be ascribed to differences in the parameters determining the electronic relaxation.  相似文献

The like and unlike isomers of phosphoramidite (P*) ligands are found to react differently with iridium(I), which is a key to explaining the apparently inconsistent results obtained by us and other research groups in a variety of catalytic reactions. Thus, the unlike diastereoisomer (aR,S,S)‐[IrCl(cod)( 1 a )] ( 2 a ; cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene, 1 a =(aR,S,S)‐(1,1′‐binaphthalene)‐2,2′‐diyl bis(1‐phenylethyl)phosphoramidite) forms, upon chloride abstraction, the monosubstituted complex (aR,S,S)‐[Ir(cod)(1,2‐η‐ 1 a ,κP)]+ ( 3 a ), which contains a chelating P* ligand that features an η2 interaction between a dangling phenyl group and iridium. Under analogous conditions, the like analogue (aR,R,R)‐ 1 a′ gives the disubstituted species (aR,R,R)‐[Ir(cod)( 1 a′ ,κP)2]+ ( 4 a′ ) with monodentate P* ligands. The structure of 3 a was assessed by a combination of X‐ray and NMR spectroscopic studies, which indicate that it is the configuration of the binaphthol moiety (and not that of the dangling benzyl N groups) that determines the configuration of the complex. The effect of the relative configuration of the P* ligand on its iridium(I) coordination chemistry is discussed in the context of our preliminary catalytic results and of apparently random results obtained by other groups in the iridium(I)‐catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of allylic acetates and in rhodium(I)‐catalyzed asymmetric cycloaddition reactions. Further studies with the unlike ligand (aS,R,R)‐(1,1′‐binaphthalene)‐2,2′‐diyl bis{[1‐(1‐naphthalene‐1‐yl)ethyl]phosphoramidite} ( 1 b ) showed a yet different coordination mode, that is, the η4‐arene–metal interaction in (aS,R,R)‐[Ir(cod)(1,2,3,4‐η‐ 1 b ,κP)]+ ( 3 b ).  相似文献

The protonation constants of 2‐[4,7,10‐tris(phosphonomethyl)‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecan‐1‐yl]acetic acid (H7DOA3P) and of the complexes [Ln(DOA3P)]4? (Ln=Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, and Yb) have been determined by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy in the range pD 2–13.8, without control of ionic strength. Seven out of eleven protonation steps were detected (pK =13.66, 12.11, 7.19, 6.15, 5.77, 2.99, and 1.99), and the values found compare well with the ones recently determined by potentiometry for H7DOA3P, and for other related ligands. The overall basicity of H7DOA3P is higher than that of H4DOTA and trans‐H6DO2A2P but lower than that of H8DOTP. Based on multinuclear‐NMR spectroscopy, the protonation sequence for H7DOA3P was also tentatively assigned. Three protonation constants (pKMHL, pKMH2L, and pKMH3L) were determined for the lanthanide complexes, and the values found are relatively high, although lower than the protonation constants of the related ligand (pK , pK , and pK ), indicating that the coordinated phosphonate groups in these complexes are protonated. The acid‐assisted dissociation of [Ln(DOA3P)]4? (Ln=Ce, Eu), in the region cH+=0.05–3.00 mol dm?3 and at different temperatures (25–60°), indicated that they have slightly the same kinetic inertness, being the [Eu(H2O)9]3+ aqua ion the final product for europium. The rates of complex formation for [Ln(DOA3P)]4? (Ln=Ce, Eu) were studied by UV/VIS spectroscopy in the pH range 5.6–6.8. The reaction intermediate [Eu(DOA3P)]* as ‘out‐of‐cage’ complex contains four H2O molecules, while the final product, [Eu(DOA3P)]4?, does not contain any H2O molecule, as proved by steady‐state/time‐resolved luminescence spectroscopy.  相似文献

FeII, CoII and NiII complexes of two tetraazamacrocycles (1,4,8,11‐tetrakis(carbamoylmethyl)‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane ( L1 ) and 1,4,7,10‐tetrakis(carbamoylmethyl)‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane ( L2 ) show promise as paraCEST agents for registration of temperature (paraCEST=paramagnetic chemical exchange saturation transfer). The FeII, CoII and NiII complexes of L1 show up to four CEST peaks shifted ≤112 ppm, whereas analogous complexes of L2 show only a single CEST peak at ≤69 ppm. Comparison of the temperature coefficients (CT) of the CEST peaks of [Co( L2 )]2+, [Fe( L2 )]2+, [Ni( L1 )]2+ and [Co( L1 )]2+ showed that a CEST peak of [Co( L1 )]2+ gave the largest CT (?0.66 ppm oC?1 at 4.7 T). NMR spectral and CEST properties of these complexes correspond to coordination complex symmetry as shown by structural data. The [Ni( L1 )]2+ and [Co( L1 )]2+ complexes have a six‐coordinate metal ion bound to the 1‐, 4‐amide oxygen atoms and four nitrogen atoms of the tetraazamacrocycle. The [Fe( L2 )]2+ complex has an unusual eight‐coordinate FeII bound to four amide oxygen atoms and four macrocyclic nitrogen atoms. For [Co( L2 )]2+, one structure has seven‐coordinate CoII with three bound amide pendents and a second structure has a six‐coordinate CoII with two bound amide pendents.  相似文献

The platinum(II) mixed ligand complexes [PtCl(L1‐6)(dmso)] with six differently substituted thiourea derivatives HL, R2NC(S)NHC(O)R′ (R = Et, R′ = p‐O2N‐Ph: HL1; R = Ph, R′ = p‐O2N‐Ph: HL2; R = R′ = Ph: HL3; R = Et, R′ = o‐Cl‐Ph: HL4; R2N = EtOC(O)N(CH2CH2)2N, R′ = Ph: HL5) and Et2NC(S)N=CNH‐1‐Naph (HL6), as well as the bis(benzoylthioureato‐κO, κS)‐platinum(II) complexes [Pt(L1, 2)2] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, FAB(+)‐MS, 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, as well as X‐ray structure analysis ([PtCl(L1)(dmso)] and [PtCl(L3, 4)(dmso)]) and ESCA ([PtCl(L1, 2)(dmso)] and [Pt(L1, 2)2]). The mixed ligand complexes [PtCl(L)(dmso)] have a nearly square‐planar coordination at the platinum atoms. After deprotonation, the thiourea derivatives coordinate bidentately via O and S, DMSO bonds monodentately to the PtII atom via S atom in a cis arrangement with respect to the thiocarbonyl sulphur atom. The Pt—S‐bonds to the DMSO are significant shorter than those to the thiocarbonyl‐S atom. In comparison with the unsubstituted case, electron withdrawing substituents at the phenyl group of the benzoyl moiety of the thioureate (p‐NO2, o‐Cl) cause a significant elongation of the Pt—S(dmso)‐bond trans arranged to the benzoyl‐O—Pt‐bond. The ESCA data confirm the found coordination and bonding conditions. The Pt 4f7/2 electron binding energies of the complexes [PtCl(L1, 2)(dmso)] are higher than those of the bis(benzoylthioureato)‐complexes [Pt(L1, 2)2]. This may indicate a withdrawal of electron density from platinum(II) caused by the DMSO ligands.  相似文献

Redistribution reactions between diorganodiselenides of type [2‐(R2NCH2)C6H4]2Se2 [R = Et, iPr] and bis(diorganophosphinothioyl disulfanes of type [R′2P(S)S]2 (R = Ph, OiPr) resulted in the hypervalent [2‐(R2NCH2)C6H4]SeSP(S)R′2 [R = Et, R′ = Ph ( 1 ), OiPr ( 2 ); R = iPr, R′ = Ph ( 3 ), OiPr ( 4 )] species. All new compounds were characterized by solution multinuclear NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P, 77Se) and the solid compounds 1 , 3 , and 4 also by FT‐IR spectroscopy. The crystal and molecular structures of 3 and 4 were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In both compounds the N(1) atom is intramolecularly coordinated to the selenium atom, resulting in T‐shaped coordination arrangements of type (C,N)SeS. The dithio organophosphorus ligands act monodentate in both complexes, which can be described as essentially monomeric species. Weak intermolecular S ··· H contacts could be considered in the crystal of 3 , thus resulting in polymeric zig‐zag chains of R and S isomers, respectively.  相似文献

The coordination and redox chemistry of aqueous CeIV/III macrocyclic compounds were studied by using the ligands DOTA and DOTP (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetrayl)tetraacetic acid and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetra(methylene phosphonic acid), respectively). The hydrolysis tendency of the tetravalent cation in the presence of DOTA is shown to result in the formation of a highly ordered, fluorite-like [CeIV6(O)4(OH)4(H2O)8(DOTAH)4] oxo-hydroxo structure both in solution and in the solid state. The lifetime of the analogous species formed in the presence of DOTP was found to be much shorter. Spectroscopic measurements of the latter suggest its similarity to the former. Its gradual decomposition in solution leads to the accumulation of the in-cage complexes [CeIVDOTP] and [CeIIIDOTP(H2O)], which were crystallographically characterized in this study. The redox energetics and spectroscopic characteristics for the transition between these two in-cage complexes in aqueous solutions were studied as well. Together with the crystallographic structures of the above-mentioned species, the in-cage [CeIVDOTA(H2O)] complex structure is presented herein for the first time. An elaborative analysis of the X-ray crystallographic structural data obtained for the in-cage complexes studied herein and similar structures published previously suggests that hard-bonding cyclen-derived ligands are, counter-intuitively, better suited for encapsulating, and perhaps kinetically stabilize softer cations than harder ones with DOTP, marked as a possible adequate chelator for the study of the aqueous properties of LnII and AcIII cations.  相似文献

A cyclen-based ligand containing trans-acetate and trans-methylenephosphonate pendant groups, H 6DO2A2P, was synthesized and its protonation constants (12.6, 11.43, 5.95, 6.15, 2.88, and 2.77) were determined by pH-potentiometry and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. The first two protonations were shown to occur at the two macrocyclic ring N-CH 2-PO 3 (2-) nitrogens while the third and fourth protonations occur at the two phosphonate groups. In parallel with protonation of the two -PO 3 (2-) groups, the protons from the NH (+)-CH 2-PO 3 (2-) are transferred to the N-CH 2-COO (-) nitrogens. The stability constants of the Ca (2+), Cu (2+), and Zn (2+) (ML, MHL, MH 2L, and M 2L) complexes were determined by direct pH-potentiometry. Lanthanide(III) ions (Ln (3+)) form similar species, but the formation of complexes is slow; so, "out-of-cell" pH-potentiometry (La (3+), Eu (3+), Gd (3+), Y (3+)) and competitive spectrophotometry with Cu(II) ion (Lu (3+)) were used to determine the stability constants. By comparing the log K ML values with those of the corresponding DOTA (H 4DOTA = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid) and DOTP (H 8DOTP = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetramethylenephosphonic acid) complexes, the order DOTA < DO2A2P < DOTP was found for all the metal ion complexes examined here with the exception of the Ca (2+) complexes, for which the order is reversed. The relaxivity of Gd(DO2A2P) decreases between pH 2 and 7 but remains constant in the pH range of 7 < pH < 12 ( r 1 = 3.6 mM (-1) s (-1)). The linewiths of the (17)O NMR signals of water in the absence and presence of Gd(DO2A2P) (at pH = 3.45 and 8.5) between 274 and 350 K are practically the same, characteristic of a q = 0 complex. Detailed kinetic studies of the Ce (3+) and Gd (3+) complexes with DO2A2P showed that complex formation is slow and involves a high stability diprotonated intermediate Ln(H 2DO2A2P)*. Rearrangement of the diprotonated intermediate into the final complex is an OH (-) assisted process but, unlike formation of Ln(DOTA) complexes, rearrangement of Ln(H 2DO2A2P)* also takes place spontaneously likely as a result of transfer of one of the protons from a ring nitrogen to a phosphonate group. The order of the OH (-) assisted formation rates of complexes is DOTA > DO2A2P > DOTP while the order of the proton assisted dissociation rates of the Gd (3+) complexes is reversed, DOTP > DO2A2P > DOTA. (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra of Eu(DO2A2P) and Lu(DO2A2P) were assigned using two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy (2D COSY), heteronuclear multiple quantum coherence (HMQC), heteronuclear chemical shift correlation (HETCOR), and exchange spectroscopy (EXSY) NMR methods. Two sets of (1)H NMR signals were observed for Eu(DO2A2P) characteristic of the presence of two coordination isomers in solution, a twisted square antiprism (TSAP) and a square antiprism (SAP), in the ratio of ~93% and ~7%, respectively. Line shape analysis of the (1)H NMR spectra of Lu(DO2A2P) gave lower activation parameters compared to La(DOTP) for interconversion between coordination isomers. This indicates that the Ln(DO2A2P) complexes are less rigid probably due to the different size and spatial requirements of the carboxylate and phosphonate groups.  相似文献

An electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study of glasses and magnetically dilute powders of [Gd(DTPA)(H2O)]2?, [Gd(DOTA)(H2O)]?, and macromolecular gadolinate(1?) complexes P792 was carried out at the X‐ and Q‐bands and at 240 GHz (DTPA=diethylenetriaminepentaacetato; DOTA=1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetraacetato). The results show that the zero‐field splitting (ZFS) parameters for these complexes are quite different in a powder as compared to the frozen aqueous solution. In several complexes, an inversion of the sign of the axial component D of the zero field splitting is observed, indicating a significant structural change. In contrary to what was expected, powder samples obtained by lyophilization do not allow a more precise determination of the static ZFS parameters. The results obtained in glasses are more relevant to the problem of electron spin relaxation in aqueous solution than those obtained from powders.  相似文献

Two N‐2‐hydroxy‐1‐phenylethyl and N‐2‐hydroxy‐2‐phenylethyl derivatives of DTPA (3,6,9‐tri(carboxymethyl)‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid), DTPA‐H1P = 3,9‐di(carboxymethyl)‐6‐2‐hydroxy‐1‐phenylethyl‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid, and DTPA‐H2P = 3,9‐di(carboxymethyl)‐6‐2‐hydroxy‐2‐phenylethyl‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid were synthesized. Their protonation constants were determined by Potentiometric titration in 0.10 M Me4NNO3 and by NMR pH titration at 25.0 ± 0.1°C. The formations of lanthanide(III), copper(II), zinc(II) and calcium(II) complexes were investigated quantitatively by potentiometry. The stability constant for Gd(III) complex is larger than those for Ca(II), Zn(II) and Cu(II) complexes with these two ligands. The selectivity constants and modified selectivity constants of the DTPA‐H1P and DTPA‐H2P for Gd(III) over endogenously available metal ions were calculated. Comparing pM values at physiological pH 7.4 assesses effectiveness of these two ligands in binding divalent and trivalent metal ions in biological media. The observed water proton relaxivity values of [Gd(DTPA‐H1P)]? and [Gd(DTPA‐H2P)]? became constant with respect to pH changes over the range of 4‐10. 17O NMR shifts showed that the [Dy(DTPA‐H1P)]? and [Dy(DTPA‐H2P)]? complexes at pH 6.30 had 1.91 and 2.28 inner‐sphere water molecules, respectively. Water proton spin‐lattice relaxation rates of [Gd(DTPA‐H1P)]? and [Gd(DTPA‐H2P)]? complexes were also consistent with the inner‐sphere Gd(III) coordination.  相似文献

Heterometallic [(THF)2Na]3[Ln(R‐Binolate)3(H2O)] [Ln = Sm ( 1 ) and Gd ( 2 )] has been synthesized by the reactions of either LnCl3 or LnBr3 with 3 equiv. Na(R‐HBinolate) and characterized by X‐ray crystallographic analysis. Structural analyses proposed that 1 and 2 are isomorphous complexes, crystallizing in the hexagonal space group P63 with C3 symmetry. The coordination geometry of the lanthanide ions in 1 and 2 can be best approximated as a mono‐capped triangle antiprism. When complexes 1 and 2 were employed as catalysts in the Meerwein–Ponndorf–Verley (MPV) reactions of acetophenone, the S‐phenylethanol was separated in 94 and 85% enantiomeric excess (e.e.) for 1 and 2 , respectively. Diethylenetriamine‐N,N,N′,N′′,N′′‐pentaacetic acid (DTPA) and 1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetraacetic acid (DOTA) scandium(III) complexes were investigated in the solution and solid state. Three 45Sc NMR spectroscopic references suitable for aqueous solutions were suggested: 0.1 M Sc(ClO4)3 in 1 M aq. HClO4 (δSc=0.0 ppm), 0.1 M ScCl3 in 1 M aq. HCl (δSc=1.75 ppm) and 0.01 M [Sc(ox)4]5? (ox2?=oxalato) in 1 M aq. K2C2O4 (δSc=8.31 ppm). In solution, [Sc(dtpa)]2? complex (δSc=83 ppm, ?ν=770 Hz) has a rather symmetric ligand field unlike highly unsymmetrical donor atom arrangement in [Sc(dota)]? anion (δSc=100 ppm, ?ν=4300 Hz). The solid‐state structure of K8[Sc2(ox)7] ? 13 H2O contains two [Sc(ox)3]3? units bridged by twice “side‐on” coordinated oxalate anion with Sc3+ ion in a dodecahedral O8 arrangement. Structures of [Sc(dtpa)]2? and [Sc(dota)]? in [(Hguanidine)]2[Sc(dtpa)] ? 3 H2O and K[Sc(dota)][H6dota]Cl2 ? 4 H2O, respectively, are analogous to those of trivalent lanthanide complexes with the same ligands. The [Sc(dota)]? unit exhibits twisted square‐antiprismatic arrangement without an axial ligand (TSA′ isomer) and [Sc(dota)]? and (H6dota)2+ units are bridged by a K+ cation. A surprisingly high value of the last DOTA dissociation constant (pKa=12.9) was determined by potentiometry and confirmed by using NMR spectroscopy. Stability constants of scandium(III) complexes (log KScL 27.43 and 30.79 for DTPA and DOTA, respectively) were determined from potentiometric and 45Sc NMR spectroscopic data. Both complexes are fully formed even below pH 2. Complexation of DOTA with the Sc3+ ion is much faster than with trivalent lanthanides. Proton‐assisted decomplexation of the [Sc(dota)]? complex (τ1/2=45 h; 1 M aq. HCl, 25 °C) is much slower than that for [Ln(dota)]? complexes. Therefore, DOTA and its derivatives seem to be very suitable ligands for scandium radioisotopes.  相似文献

Four new ligands for lanthanide ions based on the H3do3a (=1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7‐triacetic acid) structure and bearing one N‐sulfonylacetamide arm were synthesized, i.e., H4dota‐NHSO2R=10‐{2‐[(R)sulfonylamino]‐2‐oxoethyl}‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7‐triacetic acids 1a – e . A 15N‐NMR study of the 15N‐labelled Eu3+ complex of one such ligands, 1d , showed that the coordination of the N‐sulfonylacetamide arm involves the carbonyl O‐atom rather than the N‐atom. The relaxometric properties of the corresponding Gd3+ complexes were investigated as a function of pH and temperature. These complexes have relaxivities in the range 4.5–5.3 mM ?1 s?1, at 20 MHz and 25°, and are characterized by a single H2O molecule in their inner coordination sphere. The mean residence lifetime of this molecule is relatively long (500–700 ns) compared to other anionic complexes. The slow rate of H2O exchange can be justified by the extensive delocalization of the negative charge on the N‐sulfonylacetamide arm. The long residence time of the coordinated H2O allowed the observation of the effect of the prototropic exchange on the relaxivity. The study of the interaction between the complex [Gd( 1e )]‐ and HSA revealed a weak affinity constant highlighting the importance of a localized negative charge on the complex to promote a strong interaction with the protein.  相似文献

Additionally, the dissociation of p‐cymene from 2a and 3a gives dichloro{(1Sa)‐[1,1′‐binaphthalene]‐2,2′‐diyl [(1R)‐(1‐(η6‐phenyl)ethyl][(1R)‐1‐phenylethyl]phosphoramidite‐κP)ruthenium(II) ( 4a ) and di‐μ‐chlorobis{(1Sa)‐[1,1′‐binaphthalene]‐2,2′‐diyl [(1R)‐1‐(η6‐phenyl)ethyl][(1R)‐1‐phenylethyl]phosphoramidite‐κP}diruthenium(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate) ( 5a ), respectively, in which one phenyl group of the N‐substituents is η6‐coordinated to the Ru‐center. Complexes 3a and 3b catalyze the asymmetric cyclopropanation of α‐methylstyrene with ethyl diazoacetate with up to 86 and 87% ee for the cis‐ and the trans‐isomers, respectively.  相似文献

New complexes of rare earth elements [Ln(DMSO)m(H2O)n][Mo3S7Br7], Ln=Pr, Eu, Tm were synthesized and investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis. In [Pr(DMSO)6(H2O)2]3+ and [Eu(DMSO)7(H2O)]3+, the coordination polyhedra of Ln are distorted, square antiprisms (coordination number is 8); in [Tm(DMSO)6(H2O)]3+, the coordination polyhedron of Ln is a distorted pentagonal bipyramid (coordination number is 7). In all complexes, DMSO is coordinated via oxygen atoms. Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences. Swiss Technological Institute, Zurich, Switzerland. The synthesis of enantiomerically pure aluminium, gallium and indium complexes supported by chiral (R,R)‐(HHONNOHH) ( 1 ), (R,R)‐(MeHONNOHMe) ( 2 ), (R,R)‐(tButBuONNOtButBu) ( 3 ), (R,R)‐(MeNO2ONNOMeNO2) ( 4 ), (R,R)‐(HOMeONNOHOMe) ( 5 ) and (R,R)‐(ClClONNOClCl) ( 6 ) (1,2)‐diphenylethylene‐salen ligands is described. Several of these complexes have been crystallographically authenticated, which highlights a diversity of coordination patterns. Whereas all Ga complexes form [Ga2(CH2SiMe3)4(ONNO)] bimetallic species (ONNO= 1 – 3 ), aluminium [AlR(ONNO)] (R=Me, CH2SiMe3) and indium [In(CH2SiMe3)(ONNO)] derivatives are monometallic for ONNO= 1 , 2 and 4 – 6 , and only form the bimetallic complexes [Al2R4(ONNO)] and [In2(CH2SiMe3)4(ONNO)] for the most sterically crowded ligand 3 . The [AlMe(ONNO)] complexes react with iPrOH to give [AlOiPr(ONNO)] complexes that are robust towards further iPrOH. The [In(CH2SiMe3)(ONNO)] congeners are inert towards excess alcohol, whereas the Ga compounds decompose easily. All these alkyl complexes, as well as the [AlOiPr(ONNO)] derivatives, catalyse the ring‐opening polymerisation (ROP) of racemic lactide (rac‐LA). The [AlMe(ONNO)] complexes require additional alcohol to afford controlled reactions, but [AlOiPr(ONNO)] complexes are single‐component catalysts for the isoselective ROP of rac‐LA, with values of Pm in the range 0.80–0.90. Experimental evidence unexpectedly shows that chain‐end control leads to the isoselectivity of these aluminium catalysts; also, the more crowded the coordination sphere, the higher the isoselectivity. The bimetallic Ga complexes do not afford controlled reactions, but the binary [In(ONNO)(CH2SiMe3)/(PhCH2OH)] systems competently mediate non‐stereoselective ROP; evidence is given that an activated monomer mechanism is at work. Kinetic studies show that catalytic activity decreases when electronic density and steric congestion at the metal atom increase.  相似文献

The preparation and characterization of a series of neutral rare‐earth metal complexes [Ln(Me3TACD)(η3‐C3H5)2] (Ln=Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) supported by the 1,4,7‐trimethyl‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane anion (Me3TACD?) are reported. Upon treatment of the neutral allyl complexes [Ln(Me3TACD)(η3‐C3H5)2] with Brønsted acids, monocationic allyl complexes [Ln(Me3TACD)(η3‐C3H5)(thf)2][B(C6X5)4] (Ln=La, Ce, Nd, X=H, F) were isolated and characterized. Hydrogenolysis gave the hydride complexes [Ln(Me3TACD)H2]n (Ln=Y, n=3; La, n=4; Sm). X‐ray crystallography showed the lanthanum hydride to be tetranuclear. Reactivity studies of [Ln(Me3TACD)R2]n (R=η3‐C3H5, n=0; R=H, n=3,4) towards furan derivatives includes hydrosilylation and deoxygenation under ring‐opening conditions.  相似文献

The origin of the magnetic anisotropy energy barriers in a series of bpym? (bpym = 2,2′‐bipyrimidine) radical‐bridged dilanthanide complexes [(Cp*2Ln)2(μ‐bpym)]+ [Cp* = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl; Ln = GdIII ( 1 ), TbIII ( 2 ), DyIII ( 3 ), HoIII ( 4 ), ErIII ( 5 )] has been explored using density functional theory (DFT) and ab initio methods. DFT calculations show that the exchange coupling between the two lanthanide ions for each complex is very weak, but the antiferromagnetic Ln‐bpym? couplings are strong. Ab initio calculations show that the effective energy barrier of 2 or 3 mainly comes from the contribution of a single TbIII or DyIII fragment, which is only about one third of a single Ln energy barrier. For 4 or 5 , however, both of the two HoIII or ErIII fragments contribute to the total energy barrier. Thus, it is insufficient to only increase the magnetic anisotropy energy barrier of a single Ln ion, while enhancing the Ln‐bpym? couplings is also very important. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Four derivatives of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (=3,6,9‐tris(carboxymethyl)‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid (H5dtpa)), potential contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), carrying benzyl groups at various positions of the parent structure were synthesized and characterized by a thorough multinuclear NMR study, i.e., the (S)‐ and (R)‐stereoisomers 1a and 1b of 4‐benzyl‐3,6,9‐tris(carboxymethyl)‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid (H5[(S)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa] and H5[(R)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa], the diamide derivative N,N″‐bis[(benzylcarbamoyl)methyl]diethylenetriamine‐N,N′,N″‐triacetic acid (=3,9‐bis[2‐(benzylamino)‐2‐oxoethyl]‐6‐(carboxymethyl)‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid; H3[dtpa(BzA)2]; 2 ), and the diester derivative N,N″‐bis{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]methyl}diethylenetriamine‐N,N′,N″‐triacetic acid (=3,9‐bis[2‐(benzyloxy)‐2‐oxoethyl]‐6‐(carboxymethyl)‐3,6,9‐triazaundecanedioic acid; H3[dtpa(BzE)2]; 3 ). From the 17O‐NMR chemical shift of H2O induced by their dysprosium complexes with ligands 1 – 3 , it was concluded that only one H2O molecule is contained in the first coordination sphere of these lanthanide complexes. The rotational correlation times (τR) of the complexes were estimated from the 2H‐NMR longitudinal relaxation rate of the deuterated diamagnetic lanthanum complexes. The exchange time of the coordinated H2O molecule (τM) was studied through the temperature dependence of the 17O‐NMR transverse relaxation rate. As compared to [Gd(dtpa)]2−, the H2O‐exchange rate is faster for [Gd{(S)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa}]2− and [Gd{(R)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa}]2−‐, slower for [Gd{dtpa(BzA)2}], and almost identical for [Gd{dtpa(BzE)2}]. The analysis of the 1H‐relaxivity of the gadolinium complexes recorded from 0.02 to 300 MHz established that i) the relaxivity of [Gd{dtpa(BzE)2}] is similar to that of [Gd(dtpa)]2−, ii) the slightly slower molecular rotation of [Gd{dtpa(BzA)2}] induces a mild enhancement of its relaxivity, and iii) the marked increase of relaxivity of [Gd{(S)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa}]2− and [Gd{(R)‐(4‐Bz)dtpa}]2− mainly results from an apparently shorter distance between the gadolinium ion and the H2O protons of the coordinated H2O molecule.  相似文献
