Magnetic nanoparticles have been surface modified by molecular imprinting and evaluated as selective sorbents for the extraction of triazines from environmental waters. The use of propazine as template allowed us to synthesize a selective material able to simultaneously recognize and selective extract not only the template but also several other herbicides of the same family. A magnetic molecularly imprinted‐based dispersive solid‐phase extraction procedure was developed and fully optimized. Magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer particles can be easily collected and separated from liquid solvents and samples with the help of an external magnetic field, avoiding in that way any centrifugation or filtration steps, which represents a remarkable advantage over traditional procedures. Under optimum conditions, selective extraction of several triazines (cyanazine, simazine, atrazine, propazine, and terbutylazine) from environmental water samples was performed prior to final determination by high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode‐array detection. Recoveries for the studied triazines were within the range of 75.2–94.1%, with relative standard deviations lower than 11.3% (= 3). The limits of detection were within 0.16–0.51 µg/L, depending upon the triazine and the type of sample analyzed.  相似文献

An on‐line, fast, simple, selective, and sensitive method has been developed for the determination of three herbicides belonging to the following families: triazines (atrazine), chloroacetamide (alachlor), and phenoxy (2,4‐dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) in water samples. The method involves an in‐syringe magnetic stirring‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction along with simultaneous silylation prior to their determination by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry. Extraction, derivatization, and preconcentration have been simultaneously performed using acetone as dispersive solvent, N‐methyl‐Ntert‐butyldimethylsilyltrifluoroacetamide as derivatization agent and trichloroethylene as extraction solvent. After stirring for 180 s, the sedimented phase was transferred to a rotary micro‐volume injection valve (3 μL) and introduced by an air stream into gas chromatograph with mass spectrometry detector. Recovery and enrichment factors were 87.2–111.2% and 7.4–10.4, respectively. Relative standard deviations were in the ranges of 6.6–7.4 for intraday and 9.2–9.6 for interday precision. The detection limits were in the range of 0.045–0.03 μg/L, and good linearity was observed up to 200 μg/L, with R2 ranging between 0.9905 and 0.9964. The developed method was satisfactorily applied to assess the occurrence of the studied herbicides in groundwater samples. The recovery test was also performed with values between 77 and 117%.  相似文献

We describe a new methodology for the simultaneous determination of the endocrine‐disrupting herbicides (acetochlor, alachlor, amitrole, and atrazine), fungicides (carbendazim, triadimefon, penconazole, and propiconazole), and insecticides (carbaryl and carbofuran) in fish samples followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry. Samples were extracted and purified using the pass‐through cleanup approach. The recoveries of the pesticides were in the range 71.8–116.5%, with relative standard deviations lower than 15.28%. Limits of quantitation were in the range of 0.03–2.50 μg/kg. Validation results on linearity, accuracy, and precision, as well as on application to the analysis of the endocrine‐disrupting pesticides in 20 fish samples, demonstrated the applicability to screen the presence of pesticides in fish.  相似文献

In this work, the preparation and evaluation of water-compatible molecularly imprinted polymers for triazines using 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid as comonomers is described. Four sets of molecularly imprinted and non-imprinted polymers for propazine were prepared at varying monomer molar ratios (from 4:0 to 1:3), and evaluated for the recognition of several triazines directly in aqueous media. The evaluation was performed by loading 1 mL of an aqueous solution containing 500 ng of each selected triazine, washing with 500 μL of acetonitrile, and eluting with 500 μL of methanol followed by 2 × 500 μL of a solution of methanol containing 10% of acetic acid. Final determinations were performed by high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. Improvement in molecular recognition of triazines in water was obtained on those molecularly imprinted polymers incorporating 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate in 3:1 or 2:2 molar ratios, being the former selected as optimum providing recoveries for propazine up to 80%. A molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction protocol was developed to ensure that triazines-selective recognition takes place inside selective binding sites in pure water media. Finally, the developed method was successfully applied to the determination of the selected triazines in environmental waters providing limits of detection from 0.16 and the 0.5 μg/L concentration range.  相似文献

A selective sample cleanup method using molecularly imprinted polymers was developed for the separation of domoic acid (a shellfish toxin) from shellfish samples. The molecularly imprinted polymers for domoic acid was prepared by emulsion polymerization using 1,3,5‐pentanetricarboxylic acid as the template molecule, 4‐vinyl pyridine as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinker, and Span80/Tween‐80 (1:1 v/v) as the composite emulsifiers. The molecularly imprinted polymer showed high affinity to domoic acid with a dissociation constant of 13.5 μg/mL and apparent maximum adsorption capacity of 1249 μg/g. They were used as a selective sorbent for the detection of domoic acid from seafood samples coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography. The detection limit of 0.17 μg/g was lower than the maximum level permitted by several authorities. The mean recoveries of domoic acid from clam samples were 93.0–98.7%. It was demonstrated that the proposed method could be applied to the determination of domoic acid from shellfish samples.  相似文献

A rapid and effective method was developed for the analysis of 39 pesticide residues in porcine meat with dual‐layer multiplug filtration cleanup and gas chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry detection. The cleanup process was performed with columns packed with two layers, namely multiwalled carbon nanotubes, C18 and anhydrous magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) as top layer, while mixture of florisil and MgSO4 as bottom layer. A single‐layer method was tested in parallel, with columns packed with the same amount of absorbents. Extraction conditions and filtration cleanup process were optimized to obtain satisfied method performance. Method linearity was calculated with coefficients of determination more than 0.995. The limits of quantitation were verified with acceptable accuracy at the lowest spiked concentration of 0.01 mg/kg (except pyrimethanil). The recoveries at three fortified levels (0.01, 0.05, and 0.1 mg/kg) in five replicates were between 74 and 118% (except pyrimethanil) with relative standard deviations range from 1 to 16%. The matrix effects were in the range of 1.01 to 2.84. This new method was applied for the analysis of multipesticide residues in market samples of porcine meat. This study showed the dual‐layer multiplug filtration cleanup demonstrated better performance than that with the single‐layer columns in cleanup of porcine meat.  相似文献

The rapid preparation of an atrazine‐imprinted polymer in a cost‐effective custom‐made microwave reactor was demonstrated. The polymerization reaction was accelerated by microwave heating, and the preparation time was greatly shortened (to 1 h). The resulting polymer was successfully applied as solid‐phase extraction adsorbent for the selective extraction and preconcentration of atrazine in environmental water samples. The binding capacity of the polymer was 1.11 mg/g polymer. The polymer provided selectivity with higher recovery of atrazine than of other interfering related contaminants. The proposed method had good limits of detection and quantitation at 0.20 and 0.60 ng/mL, respectively. The recoveries were from 83 to 89% at two spiking levels, with relative standard deviations less than 5%. This method was successfully applied to determine the atrazine levels in environmental water samples.  相似文献

Highly efficient removal of endocrine‐disrupting compounds (EDCs) such as 17β‐estradiol (E2), 4‐nonylphenol (NP) and atrazine from water was achieved using a novel macroporous adsorption medium. The medium consisted of a macroporous poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) cryogel with molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) particles embedded in it. The MIP was prepared using E2, NP and atrazine as templates. The macroporous composite molecularly imprinted cryogels were formed inside the open‐ended protective shells, known as Kaldnes carriers. These adsorbents (defined as Macroporous Gel Particles, MGPs) were evaluated on the removal of E2, NP and atrazine from water using different column configurations, namely column filled with the MGPs (packed‐bed column) and in moving‐bed reactors (defined here as moving‐bed MGPs reactor). Complete binding (> 99%) of E2 from a spiked aqueous solution (1 mg/L) was achieved using E2‐MIP/MGPs in a moving‐bed MGPs reactor at the retention time in the reactor of 4 min, while only 77% was bound to the nonimprinted medium (NIP/MGPs). Similar results were also obtained for the adsorption medium imprinted with atrazine. All contaminants studied (E2, atrazine and NP) were effectively removed from water at low (environmentally relevant) concentrations by the respective adsorption medium.  相似文献

A selective extraction technique based on the combination of membrane assisted solvent extraction and molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction for triazine herbicides in food samples was developed. Simazine, atrazine, prometon, terbumeton, terbuthylazine and prometryn were extracted from aqueous food samples into a hydrophobic polypropylene membrane bag containing 1000μL of toluene as the acceptor phase along with 100mg of MIP particles. In the acceptor phase, the compounds were re-extracted onto MIP particles. The extraction technique was optimised for the type of organic acceptor solvent, amount of molecularly imprinted polymers particles in the organic acceptor phase, extraction time and addition of salt. Toluene as the acceptor phase was found to give higher triazine binding onto MIP particles compared to hexane and cyclohexane. Extraction time of 120min and 100mg of MIP were found to be optimum parameters. Addition of salt increased the extraction efficiency for more polar triazines. The selectivity of the technique was demonstrated by extracting spiked cow pea and corn extracts where clean chromatograms were obtained compared to only membrane assisted solvent extraction or only molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction. The study revealed that this combination may be a simple way of selectively extracting compounds in complex samples.  相似文献

A class‐specific macrolide molecularly imprinted polymer was synthesized by precipitation polymerization using tulathromycin as the template and methacrylic acid as the functional monomer. The polymers revealed different specific adsorption and imprinting factor for macrolides with different spatial arrangement of side chains as well as lactonic ring size. And the molecularly imprinted polymer possessed maximum adsorption capacity (54.1 mg/g) and highest imprinting factor (2.4) toward 15‐membered ring azithromycin. On the basis of molecularly imprinted polymer dispersive solid‐phase extraction, a rapid, selective, and reproducible method for simultaneous determination of seven macrolide antibiotics residues in pork was established by using liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry. At spiking levels of 5, 10, 25, and 100 μg/kg, average recoveries of seven macrolides ranged from 68.6 to 95.5% with intraday and interday relative standard deviations below 8%. The limits of detection and limits of quantification were 0.2–0.5 and 0.5–2.0 μg/kg, respectively.  相似文献

A new sample preparation method based on microextraction in packed syringe was developed for preconcentration of quercetin prior to its spectrophotometric determination. Molecularly imprinted polymers as packing material was used for higher extraction efficiency. First, glass powder as support material because of low cost and available substrate was modified, and then molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized by the sol–gel method using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane as a functional monomer and tetraethyl orthosilicate as cross-linker agent. The combination of a molecularly imprinted polymers and microextraction in packed syringe increased the selectivity and sensitivity. The surface morphology and functionality of the prepared molecularly imprinted polymers was characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. Different influencing parameters on extraction efficiency such as effect of the number of sample sorption/desorption cycles, type and volume of desorption solvent, pH of the sample solution, and molecularly imprinted polymers amounts were optimized. Under the optimum condition, the proposed method displayed a linear range from 0.01 to 5 µg mL−1 and limit of detection 3.68 ng mL−1. Relative standard deviation for three replicate determination of 1 µg mL−1 quercetin was 2.1 %. The proposed method was applied successfully for the selective extraction of quercetin from tea and coffee samples.  相似文献

The development and application of an imazethapyr molecularly imprinted polymer‐based solid‐phase microextraction coating were investigated. A novel molecularly imprinted polymer coating with imazethapyr as template was firstly prepared by a one‐step in situ polymerization method, and demonstrated specific selectivity to imidazolinone herbicides in complicated samples. The structural characteristics and extraction performance of the imazethapyr molecularly imprinted polymer coating were studied. The molecularly imprinted polymer coating was homogeneous, dense, and heat and solvent resistant. Adsorption capacity experiments showed that the molecularly imprinted polymer coating could selectively extract imazethapyr and its structural analogs, and the maximum adsorption capacity was 2.5 times as much as that of the nonimprinted polymer coating. A method for the determination of five imidazolinones by imazethapyr molecularly imprinted polymer solid‐phase microextraction coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography was developed. The linear range was 0.50–50 μg/L for imazameth, imazamox, imazapyr acid, and imazethapyr, and 1.0–100 μg/L for imazaquin acid, and the detection limits were within the range of 0.070–0.29 μg/L. The method was applied to simultaneous and multiresidual determinations of trace imidazolinones in rice, peanut, and soil samples with satisfactory recoveries of 60.6–99.5, 79.1–123, and 61.3–116%, respectively, and relative standard deviations of 0.40–10%, which indicated that this method was suitable for the trace analysis of imidazolinones in complex food and environmental samples.  相似文献

This research highlights the application of highly efficient molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction for the preconcentration and analysis of melamine in aquaculture feed samples. Melamine‐imprinted polymers were synthesized employing methacrylic acid and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as functional monomer and cross‐linker, respectively. The characteristics of obtained polymers were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and binding experiments. The imprinted polymers showed an excellent adsorption ability for melamine and were applied as special solid‐phase extraction sorbents for the selective cleanup of melamine. An off‐line molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction procedure was developed for the separation and enrichment of melamine from aquaculture feed samples prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. Optimum molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction conditions led to recoveries of the target in spiked feed samples in the range 84.6–96.6% and the relative standard deviation less than 3.38% (n = 3). The aquaculture feed sample was determined, and there was no melamine found. The results showed that the molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction protocols permitted the sensitive, uncomplicated and inexpensive separation and pre‐treatment of melamine in aquaculture feed samples.  相似文献

A simple, sensitive, and selective molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction and spectrophotometric method has been developed for the clean‐up and preconcentration of indapamide from human urine. Molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared by a non‐covalent imprinting approach using indapamide as a template molecule, 2‐(trifluoromethyl) acrylic acid as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a crosslinker, N,N‐azobisisobutyronitrile as a thermal initiator and acetonitrile as a porogenic solvent. A non‐imprinted polymer was also prepared in the same way, but in the absence of template. Molecularly imprinted polymer and non‐imprinted polymer sorbents were dry‐packed into solid‐phase extraction cartridges. Eluates from cartridges were analyzed using a spectrophotometer for the determination of indapamide by referring to the calibration curve in the range 0.14–1.50 μg/mL. Preconcentration factor, limit of detection, and limit of quantification were 16.30, 0.025 μg/mL, and 0.075 μg/mL, respectively. A relatively high imprinting factor (9.3) was also achieved and recovery values for the indapamide spiked into human urine were in the range of 80.1–81.2%. In addition, relatively low within‐day (0.17–0.42%) and between‐day (1.1–1.4%) precision values were obtained as well. The proposed molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction and spectrophotometric method was successfully applied to selective extraction, preconcentration, and determination of indapamide from human urine samples.  相似文献

Zinc oxide nanoparticles have recently been used as effective adsorbent materials for sample pretreatment in analytical chemistry because of their excellent properties, such as high specific surface area, high effective porosity, non‐toxicity, and ease of fabrication. In this study, the zinc oxide nanoparticles functionalized by an ionic liquid, 1‐carboxyethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride, were fabricated and used as the adsorbent for the solid phase extraction of five triazine herbicides in corn for the first time. High‐performance liquid chromatography was employed for the determination of these triazine herbicides. Several experimental parameters affecting the extraction efficiency were investigated, including the volume of extraction solvent, the extraction time, the type of extraction solvent and elution solvent, the amount of absorbent, and the volume of elution solvent. By using the proposed method, low limits of detection and quantification for all the five triazine herbicides were obtained between 0.71–1.08 and 2.67–3.64 ng/g, respectively. Recoveries of the proposed method range from 89.05 to 100.33% with intra‐ and inter‐day relative standard deviations lower than 8.45%. The calibration curves are linear in the concentration range of 0.005–1.00 μg/g with the correlation coefficient higher than 0.9954.  相似文献

We report the fabrication of an anion‐exchange monolithic column in a stainless‐steel chromatographic column (10 mm × 2.1 mm i.d.) using [2‐(acryloyloxy) ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride as the monomer and ethylene dimethacrylate as the crosslinker. The prepared monolith was developed as the adsorbent for the on‐line solid‐phase extraction of salicylic acid in various animal‐origin foodstuffs combined with liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. The monolith was characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption analysis, and elemental analysis. Potential factors affecting the on‐line solid‐phase extraction and liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry analysis were studied in detail. Under the optimized conditions, the total analysis time including cleanup and liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry separation was 17 min. The developed method gave the linear range of 15–750 μg/kg, detection limits (S/N = 3) of 5 μg/kg, and quantification limits (S/N = 10) of 15 μg/kg. The recoveries obtained by spiking 10, 20, and 100 μg/kg of salicylic acid in the animal‐origin food samples were in the range of 85.2–98.4%. In addition, the monolith was stable enough for 550 extraction cycles with the precision of peak area ≤11.6%.  相似文献

Reaching trace amounts of mycotoxin contamination requires sensitive and selective analytical tools for their determination. Improving the selectivity of sample pretreatment steps covering new and modern extraction techniques is one way to achieve it. Molecularly imprinted polymers as selective sorbent for extraction undoubtedly meet these criteria. The presented work is focused on the hyphenation of on‐line molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction with a chromatography system using a column‐switching approach. Making a critical comparison with a simultaneously developed off‐line extraction procedure, evaluation of pros and cons of each method, and determining the reliability of both methods on a real sample analysis were carried out. Both high‐performance liquid chromatography methods, using off‐line extraction on molecularly imprinted polymer and an on‐line column‐switching approach, were validated, and the validation results were compared against each other. Although automation leads to significant time savings, fewer human errors, and required no handling of toxic solvents, it reached worse detection limits (15 versus 6 μg/L), worse recovery values (68.3–123.5 versus 81.2–109.9%), and worse efficiency throughout the entire clean‐up process in comparison with the off‐line extraction method. The difficulties encountered, the compromises made during the optimization of on‐line coupling and their critical evaluation are presented in detail.  相似文献

A selective extraction technique based on the combination of liquid membrane (microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction) and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) was applied to triazines herbicides in food samples. Simazine, atrazine and propazine were extracted from aqueous food samples through the hydrophobic porous membrane that was impregnated with toluene, which also formed part of the acceptor phase. In the acceptor phase, the compounds were re-extracted onto MIP particles. The extraction technique was optimised for the amount of molecularly imprinted polymers particles in the organic acceptor phase, extraction time, and type of organic acceptor solvent and desorption solvent. An extraction time of 90 min and 50 mg of MIP were found to be optimum parameters. Toluene as the acceptor phase was found to give higher triazines binding onto MIP particles compared to hexane and combinations of diethyl ether and hexane. 90% methanol in water was found to be the best desorption solvent compared to acetonitrile, methanol and water. The selectivity of the technique was demonstrated by extracting spiked lettuce and apple extracts where clean chromatograms were obtained compared to liquid membrane extraction alone or to the microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction – non-imprinted polymer combination. The MIP showed a certain degree of group specificity and the extraction efficiency in lettuce extract was 79% (0.72) for simazine, 98% (1.55) for atrazine and 86% (3.08) for propazine.  相似文献

Surface molecularly imprinted polymers were successfully prepared by a novel two‐step precipitation polymerization method. The first‐step allowed the formation of 4‐vinylpyridine divinylbenzene and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate copolymeric microspheres. In the second‐step precipitation polymerization, microspheres were modified with a molecularly imprinting layer of oleanolic acid as template, methacrylic acid as functional monomer, and divinylbenzene/ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross‐linker. The obtained polymers had an average diameter of 4.43 μm and a polydispersity index of 1.011; adsorption equilibrium was achieved within 40 min, with adsorption capacity reaching 27.4 mg/g. Subsequently, the polymers were successfully applied as the adsorbents of molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction to separate and purify the oleanolic acid from grape pomace. The content of oleanolic acid in the grape pomace extract was enhanced from 13.4 to 93.2% after using the molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction process. This work provides an efficient way for effective oleanolic acid separation and enrichment from complex matrices, which is especially valuable in industrial production.  相似文献

Photoirradiation surface molecularly imprinted polymers for the separation of 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin were synthesized using functionalized silica as a matrix, 4‐(phenyldiazenyl)phenol as a light‐sensitive monomer, and 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin as a template. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results indicated that 4‐(phenyldiazenyl)phenol was grafted onto the surface of functionalized silica. The obtained imprinted polymers exhibited specific recognition toward 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin. Equilibrium binding experiments showed that the photoirradiation surface molecularly imprinted polymers obtained the maximum adsorption amount of 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin at 20.5 mg/g. In binding kinetic experiments, the adsorption reached saturation within 2 h with binding capacity of 72.8%. The experimental results showed that the adsorption capacity and selectivity of imprinted polymers were effective for the separation of 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin, indicating that imprinted polymers could be used to isolate 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin from a conversion mixture containing β‐cyclodextrin and maltose. The results showed that the imprinted polymers prepared by this method were very promising for the selective separation of 6‐O‐α‐d ‐maltosyl‐β‐cyclodextrin.  相似文献
