Composites ZrO2-(Bi2CuO4+ 20 wt % Bi2O3) (50–80 vol % ZrO2) are synthesized and their physicochemical properties are studied. It is demonstrated that the composites comprise triple-phase mixtures of ZrO2 of a monoclinic modification, Bi2CuO4, and solid solution Bi2?x Zr x O3 + x/2 and retain their mechanical strength up to 800°C. Impedance spectroscopy is used to examine their electroconductivity at 700–800°C in the interval of partial oxygen pressures extending from 37 to 2.1 × 104 Pa. Contributions made by electronic and ionic constituents to their overall conductivity are evaluated. The best specimens’ conductivity is ~0.01 S cm?1, with the electronic and ionic transport numbers nearly equal. The composite consisting of 50 vol % ZrO2 and 50 vol % (Bi2CuO4 + 20 wt % Bi2CuO4) is tested in the role of an oxygen-separating membrane. The selective flux of oxygen in the temperature interval 750–800°C amounts to (2.2–6.3) × 10?8 mol cm?2 s?1, testifying that these materials may be used as gas-separating membranes.  相似文献

A H3PW12O40/ZrO2 catalyst for effective dimethyl carbonate (DMC) formation via methanol carbonation was prepared using the sol–gel method. X-ray photoelectron spectra showed that reactive and dominant (63%) W(VI) species, in WO3 or H2WO4, enhanced the catalytic performances of the supported ZrO2. The mesoporous structure of H3PW12O40/ZrO2 was identified by nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms. In particular, partial sintering of catalyst particles in the duration of methanol carbonation caused a decrease in the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area of the catalyst from 39 to 19 m2/g. The strong acidity of H3PW12O40/ZrO2 was confirmed by the desorption peak observed at 415 °C in NH3 temperature-programmed desorption curve. At various reaction temperatures (T?=?110, 170, and 220 °C) and CO2/N2 volumetric flow rate ratios (CO2/N2?=?1/4, 1/7, and 1/9), the calculated catalytic performances showed that the optimal methanol conversion, DMC selectivity, and DMC yield were 4.45, 89.93, and 4.00%, respectively, when T?=?170 °C and CO2/N2?=?1/7. Furthermore, linear regression of the pseudo-first-order model and Arrhenius equation deduced the optimal rate constant (4.24?×?10?3 min?1) and activation energy (Ea?=?15.54 kJ/mol) at 170 °C with CO2/N2?=?1/7 which were favorable for DMC formation.  相似文献

The properties of supported bimetallic Rh-Co/ZrO2 catalysts in ethanol steam reforming into hydrogen-containing gas were studied. The particles of Rh-Co solid solutions on the catalyst surface were prepared by the thermal decomposition of the double complex salt [Co(NH3)6][Rh(NO2)6] and the solid solution Na3[RhCo(NO2)6]. It was found that the bimetallic Rh-Co/ZrO2 catalysts exhibited high activity in the reaction of ethanol steam reforming. The equilibrium composition of reaction products was attained at 500–700°C and a reaction mixture space velocity of 10000 h−1.  相似文献

It was established by X-ray diffraction, TPR, and EPR that microemulsion (m.e.) synthesis yields the binary oxides ZrO2(m.e.) and CeO2(m.e.) and the mixed oxide Zr0.5Ce0.5O2(m.e.) in the form of a tetragonal, cubic, and pseudocubic phase, respectively, having crystallite sizes of 5–6 nm. The bond energy of surface oxygen in the (m.e.) samples is lower than in their analogues prepared by pyrolysis. Hydrogen oxidation on the oxides under study occurs at higher temperatures than CO oxidation. ZrO2(m.e.) and CeO2(m.e.) are active in O2 formation during NO + O2 adsorption, while CeO2 is active during CO + O2 adsorption, too. However, its amount here is one-half to one-third its amount in the pyrolysis-prepared samples, signifying a reduced number of active sites, which are Zr4+ and Ce4+ coordinatively unsaturated cations and Me4+-O2− pairs. O2 radical anions are stabilized in the coordination sphere of Zr4+ coordinatively unsaturated cations via ionic bonding, and in the sphere of Ce4+ cations, via covalent bonding. Ionic bonds are stronger than ionic-covalent bonds and do not depend on the ZrO2 phase composition. Zr0.5Ce0.5O2 is inactive in these reactions because of the strong interaction of Zr and Ce cations. It is suggested that Ce(4 + β)+ coordinatively unsaturated cations exist on its surface, and their acid strength is lower than that of Zr4+ and Ce4+ cations in ZrO2 and CeO2, according to the order ZrO2 > CeO2 ≥ Zr0.5Ce0.5O2. Neither TPR nor adsorption of probe molecules revealed Zr cations on the surface of the mixed oxide.  相似文献

It is demonstrated by in situ IR spectroscopy that, in methanol conversion on ZrO2 and 5% Cu/ZrO2 catalysts, methoxy groups are present on the catalyst surface, which result from O-H or C-O bond breaking in the methanol molecule. Two types of formate complexes, localized on ZrO2 and CuO, are also observed. The formate complexes form via the oxidative conversion of the methoxy groups. There are two types of linear methoxy groups. First-type linear methoxy groups condense with the formate complex located on CuO to yield methyl formate and then CO and H2. Second-type methoxy groups appear as intermediate products in the formation of dimethyl ether. The main hydrogen formation reactions are the recombination of hydrogen atoms (which result from the interconversion of surface complexes) on copper clusters and the decomposition of methyl formate. The source of CO2 in the gas phase is the formate complex, and the source of CO is methyl formate. The effect of water vapor and oxygen the surface reactions and product formation is discussed.  相似文献

The annihilation behavior of irradiation defects induced in neutron-irradiated Li2TiO3 and Li2ZrO3 were investigated with the tritium release behavior. It was revealed that the common characteristics in both samples were that the annihilation process of irradiation defects consisted of two first-order processes and E’-center could act as tritium trapping site, and otherwise was the way how the E’-center annihilated. The difference was suggested to attribute to the mobility of M as M4+ (or M3+, etc.).  相似文献

The main reactions yielding hydrogen are the recombination of hydrogen atoms on copper clusters and methyl formate decomposition. Methyl formate results from the interaction between the linear methoxy group and the formate complex located on CuO. The source of CO2 appearing in the gas phase is the formate complex, and the source of CO is methyl formate. The rates of methoxy group conversion and product formation over supports (ZrO2, CeO2, Ce0.8Zr0.2O2) and copper-containing catalysts (5%Cu/CeO2, 5%Cu/ZrO2, 2%Cu/Ce0.8Zr0.2O2, 2%Cu/Ce0.1Y0.1Zr0.8) are compared. The dominant process in methoxy group conversion over the supports and copper-containing catalysts is methanol decomposition to H2 and CO and to H2 and CO2, respectively. The methoxy group conversion rate is proportional to the H2 and CO2 formation rate and is determined by the concentration of supported copper.  相似文献

Perovskite phases Ba3In2ZrO8 and Ba4In2Zr2O11 with the nominal concentration of structural oxygen vacancies 1/9 and 1/12, respectively, were synthesized by solid-phase and solution methods. X-ray diffraction showed cubic symmetry of both phases with the unit cell parameter a = 0.4193(2) and 0.4204(3) nm, respectively. The absence of superstructural lines resulted in the conclusion on statistical arrangement of oxygen vacancies. Thermogravimetry and mass spectrometry proved that both phases can reversibly absorb water from gas phase (pH2O = 2 × 10−2 atm) with observed correlation between the concentration of oxygen vacancies and amount of absorbed water. The total water amount was up to 0.9 mol per formula unit or, if recalculated for perovskite unit ABO3, 0.3 and 0.23 mol H2O, respectively. The temperature curves of coductivity in the atmosphere with various partial water vapor pressures (pH2O = 3 × 10−5 and 2 × 10−2 atm) showed significantly higher conductivity and lower activation energy (0.52 eV) in humid atmosphere due to proton transfer. The proton conductivity is up to 5 × 10−4 Ohm−1 cm−1 at 300°C for Ba3In2ZrO8 specimen. IR spectrometry showed that protons in the structure exist primarily in OH-groups.  相似文献

Synthesis, characterization and thermal analysis of polyaniline (PANI)/ZrO2 composite and PANI was reported in our early work. In this present, the kinetic analysis of decomposition process for these two materials was performed under non-isothermal conditions. The activation energies were calculated through Friedman and Ozawa-Flynn-Wall methods, and the possible kinetic model functions have been estimated through the multiple linear regression method. The results show that the kinetic models for the decomposition process of PANI/ZrO2 composite and PANI are all D3, and the corresponding function is ƒ(α)=1.5(1−α)2/3[1−(1-α)1/3]−1. The correlated kinetic parameters are E a=112.7±9.2 kJ mol−1, lnA=13.9 and E a=81.8±5.6 kJ mol−1, lnA=8.8 for PANI/ZrO2 composite and PANI, respectively.  相似文献

The corroding process of six glasses of the Na2O-K2O-CaO-ZrO2-SiO2 system with ZrO2content 0–2.13 mass % by water was observed during static tests at 121°C and pressure of 0.25 MPa in steam sterilizer. Significant increase of Na+ and K+ content in leachates was observed after the addition of ZrO2 into glass. Further increase of the content of ZrO2 in glasses slowed down the rate of Na+ and K+ leaching. The leaching process of SiO2 as well as Na+, K+, and Ca2+ ions was evaluated on the basis of comparison with model leaching processes. Variation of the concentrations of Na+, K+, Ca2+, and SiO2 in leachates with time was described by empirical equation. Observed changes in the initial leaching rates of Na+, K+, Ca2+, and SiO2 can be ascribed to the content of ZrO2 in glasses. The presence of ZrO2 in glasses reduced the overall rate of glass dissolution.  相似文献

Deposited palladium catalysts of the hydrodechlorination of 1,3,5-trichlorobenzene were studied. Pure zirconium and aluminum oxides and ZrO2-Al2O3 mixtures with 1, 5, and 10 mol % Al2O3 prepared by coprecipitation were used as supports. Palladium was deposited by the precipitation of its hydroxide on supports. Catalysts on binary supports (ZrO2 + 1% Al2O3 and ZrO2 + 5% Al2O3) exhibited higher activity and stability in hydrodechlorination compared with catalysts on pure supports. The suggestion was made that the high activity and stability of these systems in hydrodechlorination was related to the formation of binary oxide in the interaction of ZrO2 with palladium oxide at the stage of annealing of the catalyst precursor. Binary oxide, which was a center of the activation of the C-Cl bond, was simultaneously a source of active hydrogen. The presence of various palladium states in catalysts was substantiated by the temperature programmed reduction method.  相似文献

Higher alcohol has been considered as a potential fuel additive. Higher alcohol, including C2–C4 alcohol was synthesized by catalytic conversion of syngas (with a ratio of CO/H2?=?1) derived from natural gas over modified Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst. Modified Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalysts promoted by alkali metal (Li) for higher alcohol synthesis (HAS) were prepared at different pH (6, 6.5, 7, 8, and 9) by co-precipitation to control Cu surface area and characterized by N2 physisorption, XRD, SEM, H2-TPR and TPD. The HAS reaction was carried out under a pressure of 45 bar, GHSV of 4000 h?1, ratio of H2/CO?=?1, and temperature ranges of 240 and 280 °C. It was found that the malachite phase of copper causes the size of copper to be small, which is suitable for methanol synthesis. Methanol and HAS share a common catalytic active site and intermediate. It was also found that the productivity to higher alcohol was correlated with Cu surface area.  相似文献

The TPR spectra of the conversion of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol (MBOH) on mixed ZrO2-Al2O3 oxides with different ZrO2 contents were obtained by desorption mass spectrometry. It was shown that MBOH is dehydrated to 3-methyl-3-buten-1-yne on the acid centers (H0 ≥ –3.3) and is decomposed to acetylene and acetone at the basic centers (H ≤ +6.8) of this oxide. The formation of acid centers in the amorphous structure of ZrO2-Al2O3 at 1.5 < Al/Zr < 3is explained by the Tanabe rule.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of the CoO/CeO2 and CuO/CoO/CeO2 systems in selective CO oxidation in the presence of hydrogen at 20–450°C ([CuO] = 1.0–2.5%, [CoO] = 1.0–7.0%) is reported. The maximum CO conversion (X) decreases in the following order: CuO/CoO/CeO2 (X = 98–99%, T = 140–170°C) > CoO/CeO2 (X = 67–84%, T = 230–240°C) > CeO2 (X = 34%, T = 350°C). TPD, TPR, and EPR experiments have demonstrated that the high activity of CuO/CoO/CeO2 is due to the strong interaction of the supported copper and cobalt oxides with cerium dioxide, which yields Cu-Co-Ce-O clusters on the surface. The carbonyl group in the complexes Coδ+-CO and Cu+-CO is oxidized by oxygen of the Cu-Co-Ce-O clusters at 140–160°C and by oxygen of the Co-Ce-O clusters at 240°C. The decrease in the activity of the catalysts at high temperatures is due to the fact that hydrogen reduces the clusters on which CO oxidation takes place, yielding Co0 and Cu0 particles, which are inactive in CO oxidation. The hydrogenation of CO into methane at high temperatures is due to the appearance of Co0 particles in the catalysts.  相似文献

Data on the mid-temperature solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFC) with thin-film ZrO2-Y2O3 (YSZ) electrolyte are shown. Such a fuel cell comprises a carrying Ni-YSZ anode, a YSZ electrolyte 3–5 μm thick formed by vacuum ion-plasma methods, and a LaSrMnO3 cathode. It is shown that the use of a combined method of YSZ electrolyte deposition, which involves the magnetron deposition of a 0.5–1.5-μm thick sublayer and its pulse electron-beam processing allows a dense nanostructured electrolyte film to be formed and the SOFC working temperature to be lowered down as the result of a decrease in both the solid electrolyte Ohmic resistance and the Faradaic resistance to charge transfer. SOFC are studied by the methods of voltammentry and impedance spectroscopy. The maximum power density of the SOFC under study is 250 and 600 mW/cm−2 at temperatures of 650 and 800°C, respectively.  相似文献

Copper or iron supported on commercially available oxides, such as γ-Al2O3, TiO2 (anatase) and monoclinic tetragonal ZrO2 (mt-ZrO2) were tested as catalysts for selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia into nitrogen and water vapour (NH3-SCO) in the low temperature range. Different commercial oxides were used in this study to determine the influence of the specific surface area, acidic nature of the support and crystalline phases as well as of the type of species and aggregation state of transition metals on the catalytic performance in selective ammonia oxidation. Copper modified oxide supports were found to be more active and selective to nitrogen than catalysts impregnated with iron. Activities of both transition metal modified samples decreased in the following order: mt-ZrO2, TiO2 (anatase), γ-Al2O3. Quantitative total ammonia conversion was achieved with the Cu/ZrO2 catalytic system at 400°C. Characterisation techniques, e.g. H2-temperature programmed reduction, UV-VIS-diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, suggest that easily reducible copper oxide species are important in achieving high catalytic performances at low temperatures.  相似文献

The state of surface Pt atoms in the Pt/SO4/ZrO2/Al2O3 catalyst and the effect of the state of platinum on its adsorption and catalytic properties in the reaction of n-hexane isomerization were studied. The Pt-X/Al2O3 alumina-platinum catalysts modified with various halogens (X = Br, Cl, and F) and their mechanical mixtures with the SO4/ZrO2/Al2O3 superacid catalyst were used in this study. With the use of IR spectroscopy (COads), oxygen chemisorption, and oxygen-hydrogen titration, it was found that ionic platinum species were present on the reduced form of the catalysts. These species can adsorb to three hydrogen atoms per each surface platinum atom. The specific properties of ionic platinum manifested themselves in the formation of a hydride form of adsorbed hydrogen. It is believed that the catalytic activity and operational stability of the superacid system based on sulfated zirconium dioxide were due to the participation of ionic and metallic platinum in the activation of hydrogen for the reaction of n-hexane isomerization.  相似文献

A series of ZrO2-TiO2 mixed oxides with different weight ratios (5, 20, and 30% ZrO2) were prepared by wet impregnation of TiO2-P25 Degussa with certain amounts of ZrO(NO3)2·6H2O (Fluka) dissolved in deionised water. The samples were characterized by the XRD, , , , and BET methods. An increase in ZrO2 content shifted the phase transition temperature (anatase into rutile) toward higher temperatures. X-ray diffraction using an Anton Paar XRK900 reactor chamber indicated that, in the case of samples containing ZrO2, an additional diffraction peak appeared after cooling down to 25°C. This peak could be attributed to a polymorph of TiO2 such as in the single crystal of anatase or hexagonal form of TiO2 which appears in the presence of ZrO2. Generally, the preparation of dioxide systems can modify the properties of pure compounds or generate new catalytic sites as a result of strong interaction between ZrO2 and TiO2 oxides. The binary systems exhibit advantages like strong acidity, extended specific surface area, and high thermal stability in comparison with TiO2. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

An attempt is made to explain the causes of coloration of LiB3O5 crystals after their long-term operation as laser elements. By EPR and optical spectroscopy the impurity and radiation centers are studied in as-grown LiB3O5 crystals and in the crystals whose color appeared after the long-term operation as laser elements. In a number of as-grown crystals a copper impurity is detected. EPR spectral parameters and the structural positions of Cu2+ ions are found. Defect formation features in electron irradiated as-grown LiB3O5 crystals and in the most colored regions of crystals of spent laser elements are analyzed. It is shown that in both growth crystals and crystals after long-term operation as laser elements the same set of radiation defects is observed: oxygen O in the interstitial position, an O hole center in the crystal structure, and the B2+ electron center due to the removal of an oxygen atom near the lithium vacancy. The only distinction is that the concentration of these radiation defects in crystals long used as laser elements is higher than that in growth ones by an order of magnitude. The results obtained enable the conclusion that the cause of coloration of LiB3O5 crystals is photo-induced diffusion of lithium atoms and their capture by cation vacancies in the dark part of the crystal, which provides the formation and accumulation of lithium vacancies in the region where the laser beam passes.  相似文献

The crystal structure of [Cu(En)2CrO4]n (En is ethylenediamine) is determined: a = 14.7359(4) Å, b = 9.8083(3) Å, c = 14.2664(4) Å, V = 2061.98(10) Å3, space group Cmce, Z = 8, dx = 1.931 g/cm3. It is demonstrated that the studied phase is isostructural with [Сu(Еn)2SO4]n. A pseudotetragonal copper atom coordination (Cu–N 2.0204 Å and 2.0244 Å, ∠N–Cu–N 84.73°) is completed to distorted octahedral by two oxygen atoms of chromate anions (Cu–O 2.433 Å and 2.380 Å).  相似文献
