Reduction of TiCl(4) with 1 equiv of HSnBu(3) followed by addition of [PPh(4)]Cl and then PR(3) leads to two new dinuclear titanium(III) compounds, [PPh(4)][Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(4)(PR(3))(2)] (R = Et and R(3) = Me(2)Ph), both of which contain an anion with the face-sharing bioctahedral type structure. Their crystal structures are reported. [PPh(4)][Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(4)(PEt(3))(2)].2CH(2)Cl(2) crystallized in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;. Cell dimensions: a = 12.461(1) ?, b = 20.301(8) ?, c = 11.507(5) ?, alpha = 91.44 degrees, beta = 113.27(1) degrees, gamma = 104.27(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The distance between titanium atoms is 3.031(2) ?. [PPh(4)][Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(4)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)].CH(2)Cl(2) also crystallized in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with cell dimensitions a = 11.635(4) ?, b = 19.544(3) ?, c = 11.480(3) ?, alpha = 100.69(2) degrees, beta = 109.70(1) degrees, gamma = 95.08(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The distance between titanium atoms in this compound is 2.942(1) ?. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibilities were measured for [PPh(4)][Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(4)(PEt(3))(2)]. Electronic structure calculations were carried out for a model ion, [Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(4)(PH(3))(2)](-), and another well-known anion, [Ti(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(3)Cl(6)](3)(-), by employing an ab initio configuration interaction method. The results of the calculations reveal that the metal-metal interaction in these Ti(III) face-sharing compounds can be best described by strong antiferromagnetic coulping that leads to a singlet ground state and a thermally accessible triplet first excited state. Accordingly the measured magnetic data were satisfactorily fitted to a spin-only formula.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuCl(PR(3))] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] in refluxing ethanol proceeds with partial degradation (removal of a boron atom adjacent to carbon) of the closo species to give [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PR(3))] [PR(3) = PPh(3) (1), PPh(2)Me (2), PPh(2)(4-Me-C(6)H(4)) (3), P(4-Me-C(6)H(4))(3) (4), P(4-OMe-C(6)H(4))(3) (5)]. Similarly, the treatment of [Au(2)Cl(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] under the same conditions leads to the complexes [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] [P-P = dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (6), dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (7)], where the dppe or dppp ligands bridge two gold nido-diphosphine units. The reaction of 1 with NaH leads to removal of one proton, and further reaction with [Au(PPh(3))(tht)]ClO(4) gives the novel metallocarborane compound [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(9)}(PPh(3))(2)] (8). The structure of complexes 1 and 7 have been established by X-ray diffraction. [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PPh(3))] (1) (dichloromethane solvate) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 17.326(3) ?, b = 20.688(3) ?, c = 13.442(2) ?, beta = 104.710(12) degrees, Z = 4, and T = -100 degrees C. [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-dppp)] (7) (acetone solvate) is triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.432(3) ?, b = 18.888(3) ?, c = 20.021(3) ?, alpha = 78.56(2) degrees, beta = 72.02(2) degrees, gamma = 73.31(2) degrees, Z = 2, and T = -100 degrees C. In both complexes the gold atom exhibits trigonal planar geometry with the 7,8-bis(diphenylphosphino)-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborate(1-) acting as a chelating ligand.  相似文献

X-ray crystal structures are reported for the following complexes: [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O (tacn = 1,4,7-triazacyclononane), monoclinic P2(1)/n, Z = 4, a = 14.418(8) ?, b = 11.577(3) ?, c = 18.471(1) ?, beta = 91.08(5) degrees, V = 3082 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.039 (0.043) using 4067 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, monoclinic P2(1)/a, Z = 4, a = 13.638(4) ?, b = 12.283(4) ?, c = 18.679(6) ?, beta = 109.19(2) degrees, V = 3069.5 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.052 (0.054) using 3668 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2), cubic P2(1)/3, Z = 3, a = 14.03(4) ?, beta = 90.0 degrees, V = 2763.1(1) ?(3), R (R(w)) = 0.022 (0.025) using 896 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K. All of the cations have cofacial bioctahedral geometries, although [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O, [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, and [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2) are not isomorphous. Average bond lengths and angles for the cofacial bioctahedral cores, [N(3)Ru(&mgr;-X)(3)RuN(3)](2+), are compared to those for the analogous ammine complexes [Ru(2)Cl(3)(NH(3))(6)](BPh(4))(2) and [Ru(2)Br(3)(NH(3))(6)](ZnBr(4)). The Ru-Ru distances in the tacn complexes are longer than those in the equivalent ammine complexes, probably as a result of steric interactions.  相似文献

The platinum(II) complexes trans-[PtCl(2)(RR'C=NOH)(2)], where R = R' = Me, RR' = (CH(2))(4) and (CH(2))(5), react with m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid in Me(2)CO to give the platinum(IV) complexes [PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CRR')(2)] in 50-60% yields. The complexes [PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CRR')(2)] were characterized by elemental analysis, EI-MS, and IR and Raman spectroscopies; X-ray structure analyses were performed for both trans-[PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CC(4)H(8))(2)] and trans-[PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CC(5)H(10))(2)]. The former compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 8.088(2) ?, b = 8.327(2) ?, c = 8.475(2) ?, alpha = 103.54(3) degrees, beta = 102.15(3) degrees, gamma = 108.37(3) degrees, V = 501.0(2) ?(3), Z = 1, and rho(calcd) = 1.917 g cm(-)(3). The latter complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 12.5260(10) ?, b = 9.3360(10) ?, c = 18.699(2) ?, beta = 98.320(10) degrees, V = 2163.7(4) ?(3), Z = 4, and rho(calcd) = 1.862 g cm(-)(3). The structures of [PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CC(4)H(8))(2)] and [PtCl(2)(OCMe(2)ON=CC(5)H(10))(2)] show an octahedron of Pt where two Cl atoms and two chelate ligands are mutually trans, respectively.  相似文献

As starting materials for heterobimetallic complexes, [RuCp(PPh(3))CO(PPh(2)H)]PF(6) and [RuCp(PPh(3))CO(eta(1)-dppm)]PF(6) were prepared from RuCp(PPh(3))(CO)Cl. In the course of preparing [RuCp(eta(2)-dppm)(eta(1)-dppm)]Cl from RuCp(Ph(3)P)(eta(1)-dppm)Cl, the new monomer RuCpCl(eta(1)-dppm)(2) was isolated. The uncommon coordination mode of the two monodentate bis(phosphines) was confirmed by X-ray crystallography [a = 11.490(1) ?, b = 14.869(2) ?, c = 15.447(2) ?, alpha = 84.63(1) degrees, beta = 70.55(1) degrees, gamma = 72.92(1) degrees, V = 2378.7(5) ?(3), d(calc) = 1.355 g cm(-)(3) (298 K), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2]. The dppm-bridged bimetallic complexes RuCp(PPh(3))Cl(&mgr;-dppm)PtCl(2), RuCpCl(&mgr;-dppm)(2)PtCl(2), and [RuCp(PPh(3))CO(&mgr;-dppm)PtCl(2)]PF(6) each exhibit electrochemistry consistent with varying degrees of metal-metal interaction. The cationic heterobimetallic complexes [Mo(CO)(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)Pt(H)]PF(6) and [MoCp(CO)(2)(&mgr;-PPh(2))(&mgr;-H)Pt(PPh(3))(MeCN)]PF(6) were prepared by chloride abstraction from the corresponding neutral bimetallic species and show electrochemical behavior similar to the analogous Ru/Pt complexes.  相似文献

Five new vanadium selenites, Ca(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2), Sr(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3), Ba(V(2)O(5))(SeO(3)), Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), have been synthesized and characterized. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds exhibit one- or two-dimensional structures consisting of corner- and edge-shared VO(4), VO(5), VO(6), and SeO(3) polyhedra. Of the reported materials, A(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) (A = Sr(2+) or Pb(2+)) are noncentrosymmetric (NCS) and polar. Powder second-harmonic generation (SHG) measurements revealed SHG efficiencies of approximately 130 and 150 × α-SiO(2) for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Piezoelectric charge constants of 43 and 53 pm/V, and pyroelectric coefficients of -27 and -42 μC/m(2)·K at 70 °C were obtained for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Frequency dependent polarization measurements confirmed that the materials are not ferroelectric, that is, the observed polarization cannot be reversed. In addition, the lone-pair on the Se(4+) cation may be considered as stereo-active consistent with calculations. For all of the reported materials, infrared, UV-vis, thermogravimetric, and differential thermal analysis measurements were performed. Crystal data: Ca(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2), orthorhombic, space group Pnma (No. 62), a = 7.827(4) ?, b = 16.764(5) ?, c = 9.679(5) ?, V = 1270.1(9) ?(3), and Z = 4; Sr(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 12), a = 14.739(13) ?, b = 9.788(8) ?, c = 8.440(7) ?, β = 96.881(11)°, V = 1208.8(18) ?(3), and Z = 4; Ba(V(2)O(5))(SeO(3)), orthorhombic, space group Pnma (No. 62), a = 13.9287(7) ?, b = 5.3787(3) ?, c = 8.9853(5) ?, V = 673.16(6) ?(3), and Z = 4; Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), orthorhombic, space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 25.161(3) ?, b = 12.1579(15) ?, c = 12.8592(16) ?, V = 3933.7(8) ?(3), and Z = 8; Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), orthorhombic, space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 25.029(2) ?, b = 12.2147(10) ?, c = 13.0154(10) ?, V = 3979.1(6) ?(3), and Z = 8.  相似文献

The new isomeric ruthenium/zirconium dihydrides of the formula (PPh(3))HRuH(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ClZrCl (1, 2) (Cp = C(5)Me(4)) have been characterized by elemental analysis and NMR ((1)H, (31)P and (1)H relaxation data). Complex 1, stabilized by Cl and H bridges, has been isolated from the room temperature reaction between RuH(2)(H(2))(PPh(3))(3) and (PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrCl(2). The X-ray crystallographic study of 1 revealed a bimetallic complex. The six-coordinate Ru atom and the five-coordinate Zr atom are held together by two bifunctional phosphinocyclopentadienyl ligands and by H and Cl bridges. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.901(2) ?, b = 18.205(6) ?, c = 16.633(3) ?, beta = 92.43(1) degrees, V = 4206 ?(3), Z = 4, d(calc) = 1.472 g cm(-)(3), R(F) = 0.056, R(w)(F) = 0.058. Complex 2 with two H bridges and terminal Cl ligands at Ru and Zr has been obtained by an irreversible isomerization of 1 in the presence of HNEt(3)BPh(4). This transformation has been proposed to occur through slow protonation of one of the phosphorus ligands with the five-coordinate Ru center formed by undergoing rapid pseudorotation. Complexes 1 and 2 do not react with H(2), N(2), or 3,3-dimethyl-but-1-ene. Treatment of 1 with 1 equiv of NaHBEt(3) in C(6)D(6) gives a mixture of new trihydrides (PPh(3))HRu(&mgr;-Cl)(&mgr;-H)(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrH (3) and (PPh(3))HRu(&mgr;-H)(2)(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrCl (4). Complex 3 transforms to 4 upon standing in solution for a period of several days. Under the same conditions, complex 2 leads smoothly to trihydride 4. Both trihydrides are new and have been characterized by (1)H, (31)P NMR, and (1)H NMR relaxation data. Complexes 1 and 4 are fluxional in solution at room temperature, showing hydride exchange between the terminal and bridging positions. The variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectra allowed determinations of the DeltaG() values of 16.4 (313 K, THF-d(8)) and 13.5 kcal/mol (295 K, toluene-d(8)) for the exchange in complexes 1 and 4, respectively. Possible exchange mechanisms have been discussed. Complex 2 is rigid on the NMR time scale.  相似文献

An example of a direct axial interaction of a platinum(II) atom with a Mo(2) core through a uniquely designed tridentate ligand 6-(diphenylphosphino)-2-pyridonate (abbreviated as pyphos) is described. Treatment of PtX(2)(pyphosH)(2) (2a, X = Cl; 2b, X = Br; 2c, X = I) with a 1:1 mixture of Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(4) and [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(6)](2+) (3a) in dichloromethane afforded the linear trinuclear complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)](2) (4a, X = Cl; 4b, X = Br; 4c, X = I). The reaction of [Mo(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(4)](2+) (3b) with 2a-c in dichloromethane afforded the corresponding pivalato complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)](2) (5a, X = Cl; 5b, X = Br; 5c, X = I), whose bonding nature is discussed on the basis of the data from Raman and electronic spectra as well as cyclic voltammograms. The linear trinuclear structures in 4b and 5a-c were confirmed by NMR studies and X-ray analyses: 4b, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 34.733(4) ?, b = 17.81(1) ?, c = 22.530(5) ?, beta = 124.444(8) degrees, V = 11498(5) ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.060 for 8659 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 588 parameters; 5a, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.541(3) ?, b = 17.029(3) ?, c = 12.896(3) ?, alpha = 101.20(2) degrees, beta = 117.00(1) degrees, gamma = 85.47(2) degrees, V = 2599(1) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.050 for 8148 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 604 parameters; 5b, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 12.211(2) ?, b = 20.859(3) ?, c = 10.478(2) ?, alpha = 98.88(1) degrees, beta = 112.55(2) degrees, gamma = 84.56(1) degrees, V = 2433.3(8) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.042 for 8935 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters; 5c, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 13.359(4) ?, b = 19.686(3) ?, c = 20.392(4) ?, beta = 107.92(2) degrees, V = 5101(2) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.039 for 8432 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters.  相似文献

The sulfates Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3), MoO(2)(SO(4)), WO(SO(4))(2,) and two modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) have been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of NbCl(5), WOCl(4), Re(2)O(7)(H(2)O)(2), and MoO(3) with sulfuric acid/SO(3) mixtures at temperatures between 200 and 300 °C. Besides the X-ray crystal structure determination of all compounds, the thermal behavior was investigated using thermogravimetric studies. WO(SO(4))(2) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.453(1) ?, b = 11.8232(8) ?, c = 7.881(1) ?, β = 107.92(2)°, V = 660.7(1) ?(3), Z = 4) and both modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) (I: orthorhombic, Pba2, a = 9.649(1) ?, b = 8.4260(8) ?, c = 5.9075(7) ?, V = 480.27(9) ?(3), Z = 2; II: orthorhombic, Pbcm, a = 7.1544(3) ?, b = 7.1619(3) ?, c = 16.8551(7) ?, V = 863.64(6) ?(3), Z = 4) are the first structurally characterized examples of tungsten and rhenium oxide sulfates. Their crystal structure contains layers of sulfate connected [W═O] moieties or [Re(2)O(5)] units, respectively. The cohesion between layers is realized through weak M-O contacts (343-380 pm). Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3) (orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 9.9589(7) ?, b = 11.7983(7) ?, c = 8.6065(5) ?, V = 1011.3(1) ?(3), Z = 4) represents a new sulfate-richer niobium oxide sulfate. The crystal structure contains a three-dimensional network of sulfate connected [Nb═O] moieties. In MoO(2)(SO(4)) (monoclinic, I2/a, a = 8.5922(6) ?, b = 12.2951(6) ?, c = 25.671(2) ?, β = 94.567(9)°, V = 2703.4(3) ?(3), Z = 24) [MoO(2)] units are connected through sulfate ions to a three-dimensional network, which is pervaded by channels along [100] accommodating the terminal oxide ligands. In all compounds except WO(SO(4))(2), the metal ions are octahedrally coordinated by monodentate sulfate ions and oxide ligands forming short M═O bonds. In WO(SO(4))(2), the oxide ligand and two monodentate and two bidentate sulfate ions build a pentagonal bipyramid around W. The thermal stability of the sulfates decreases in the order Nb > Mo > W > Re; the residues formed during the decomposition are the corresponding oxides.  相似文献

A series of new complexes, the blue compounds [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PR(3))] (PR(3) = PEt(3), PPr(n)(3), PBu(n)(3), PMe(2)Ph, PMePh(2), PPh(3), PTol(3)) and the red [PtCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PR(3))] (PR(3) = PMe(2)Ph, PMePh(2)), were synthesized and studied spectroscopically ((1)H and (31)P NMR, UV/vis) and by cyclic voltammetry. The structures of [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PPr(n)(3))] (2b) [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2e), [PtCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2i), and the related [PtCl(SeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PEt(3))] (3) were determined crystallographically, revealing a typical pattern of trans-positioned neutral N and P donor atoms in an approximately square planar setting. The molecules 2b, 2e, and 2i were calculated by TD-DFT methodology to understand the origin of the weak (epsilon approximately 200 M(-1) cm(-1)) long-wavelength bands at about 600 nm for Pd/Te complexes such as 2b or 2e, at ca. 460 nm for Pt/Te systems such as 2i, and at about 405 nm for Pt/Se analogues such as 3. These transitions are identified as charge transfer transitions from the selenolato or tellurolato centers to unoccupied orbitals involving mainly the phosphine coligands for the Pt(II) compounds and more delocalized MOs for the Pd(II) analogues. Calculations and electrochemical data were used to rationalize the effects of metal and chalcogen variation.  相似文献

A series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) ?, b = 11.0448(2) ?, c = 12.6418(2) ?, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) ?, b = 7.8620(10) ?, c = 11.7845(3) ?, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) ?, b = 10.9078(3) ?, c = 12.5518(3) ?, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) ?, b = 7.8443(10) ?, c = 11.6790(2) ?, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) ?(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

Platinum bisphosphine complexes bearing dichalcogen-derivatised naphthalene, acenaphthene or phenanthrene ligands have been prepared by either oxidative addition to zero-valent platinum species or from [PtCl(2)(PPhR(2))] (R=Ph or Me) and the disodium or dilithium salts of the parent disulfur, diselenide or mixed S/Se species. The parent naphthalene, acenaphthene and phenanthrene chalcogen compounds were treated with either [Pt(PPh(3))(4)] or [Pt(C(2)H(4))(PMe(3))(2)] (prepared in situ from [PtCl(2)(PMe(3))(2)], ethene and sodium naphthalide or super hydride [LiBEt(3)H]) to give the appropriate platinum(II) species. The dilithium salts of 1,8-E(2)-naphthalene (E=S or Se) prepared in situ by reduction of the E-E bond with [LiBEt(3)H] were treated with [PtCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] to give [Pt(1,8-E(2)-nap)(PPh(3))(2)]. The tetraoxides [Pt(1,8-(S(O)(2))(2)-nap)(PR(3))(2)] (PR(3)=PPh(3) or PMe(2)Ph) were prepared in a similar metathetical manner from the appropriate [PtCl(2)(PR(3))] complexes and the disodium salt of naphthalene 1,8-disulfinic acid (1,8-(S(O)ONa)(2)-nap). The X-ray structures of selected examples reveal bidentate coordination with the naphthalene-E(2) unit hinged (111-137 degrees) with respect to the coordination plane. The naphthalene ring suffers significant distortion from planarity.  相似文献

Treatment of [Mo(N(2))(PMe(3))(5)] with two equivalents GaCp* (Cp* = η(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5)) leads to the formation of cis-[Mo(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(4)] (1), while AlCp* did not react with this precursor. In addition, [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2a), [Ni(AlCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2b), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PCy(3))(2)] (3a), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(2)] (3b), [Ni(GaCp*)(3)(PCy(3))] (4) and [Ni(GaCp*)(PMe(3))(3)] (5) have been prepared in high yields by a direct synthesis from [Ni(COD)(2)] and stoichiometric amounts of the ligands PR(3) and ECp* (E = Al, Ga), respectively. All compounds have been fully characterized by (1)H, (13)C, and (31)P NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The hexaphosphapentaprismane P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4) undergoes specific insertion of the zerovalent platinum fragment [Pt(PPh(3))(2)] into the unique P-P bond between the 5-membered rings to afford [Pt(PPh(3))(2)P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)]. A similar reaction with the Pt(ii) complexes [{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}(2)] and [PtCl(2)(eta(4)-COD)] results in both insertion and chlorine migration reactions. The complexes [Pt(PPh(3))(2)P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)], trans-[PtCl(PMe(3))P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl], cis-,trans-[{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}micro-{P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)}{PtCl(2)(PMe(3))}], [{PtClP(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl}(2)] and cis-[PtClP(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4)Cl(P(6)C(4)(t)Bu(4))] have been structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and multinuclear NMR studies.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of nido-[1,1,2,2-(CO)(4)-1,2-(PPh(3))(2)-1,2-FeIrB(2)H(5)] (1) is reported. 1 is formed in low yield as a degradation product from the reaction between [{&mgr;-Fe(CO)(4)}B(6)H(9)](-) and trans-Ir(CO)Cl(PPh(3))(2) in THF and is characterized from NMR, IR, and analytical data and by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 12.8622(12), b = 14.3313(12), c = 23.579(3) ?, beta = 97.12(2) degrees, Z = 4, V = 4257.0(8) ?(3), R(1) = 4.83%, and wR(2)()(F(2)) = 12.43%. The heterobimetallaborane structure may be viewed as a derivative of the binary boron hydride nido-[B(4)H(7)](-) and is related to the known homobimetallatetraborane analogues [Fe(2)(CO)(6)B(2)H(6)] and [Co(2)(CO)(6)B(2)H(4)]. 1 exhibits proton fluxionality in its (1)H NMR spectrum, which is related to that found in the latter two compounds.  相似文献

The stabilization of unsupported Ti-M (M = Fe, Ru, Co) heterodinuclear complexes has been achieved by use of amidotitanium building blocks containing tripodal amido ligands. Salt metathesis of H(3)CC(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)TiX (1) and C(6)H(5)C(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)TiX (2) as well as HC{SiMe(2)N(4-CH(3)C(6)H(4))}(3)TiX (3) (X = Cl, a; Br, b) with K[M(CO)(2)Cp] (M = Fe, Ru) and Na[Co(CO)(3)(PR(3))] (R = Ph, Tol) gave the corresponding stable heterobimetallic complexes of which H(3)CC(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)Ti-M(CO)(2)Cp (M = Fe, 6; Ru, 7) and HC{SiMe(2)N(4-CH(3)C(6)H(4))}(3)Ti-M(CO)(2)Cp (M = Fe, 12; Ru, 13) have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. 6: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 15.496(3) ?, b = 12.983(3) ?, c = 29.219(3) ?, beta = 104.52(2) degrees, Z = 8, V = 5690.71 ?(3), R = 0.070. 7: monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 12.977(3) ?, b = 12.084(3) ?, c = 18.217(3) ?, beta = 91.33(2) degrees, Z = 4, V = 2855.91 ?(3), R = 0.048. 12: monoclinic, I2/c, a = 24.660(4) ?, b = 15.452(3) ?, c = 20.631(4) ?, beta = 103.64(3) degrees, Z = 8, V = 7639.65 ?(3), R = 0.079. 13: monoclinic, I2/c, a = 24.473(3) ?, b = 15.417(3) ?, c = 20.783(4) ?, beta = 104.20(2) degrees, Z = 8, V = 7601.84 ?(3), R = 0.066. (1)H- and (13)C-NMR studies in solution indicate free internal rotation of the molecular fragments around the Ti-M bonds. Fenske-Hall calculations performed on the idealized system HC(CH(2)NH)(3)Ti-Fe(CO)(2)Cp (6x) have revealed a significant degree of pi-donor-acceptor interaction between the two metal fragments reinforcing the Ti-Fe sigma-bond. Due to the availability of energetically low-lying pi-acceptor orbitals at the Ti center this partial multiple bonding is more pronounced that in the tin analogue HC(CH(2)NH)(3)Sn-Fe(CO)(2)Cp (15x) in which an N-Sn sigma-orbital may act as pi-acceptor orbital.  相似文献

The second method for the synthesis of cis-[Ru(III)Cl(2)(cyclam)]Cl (1) (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), with use of cis-Ru(II)Cl(2)(DMSO)(4) (DMSO = dimethyl sulfoxide) as a starting complex, is reported together with the synthesis of [Ru(II)(cyclam)(bpy)](BF(4))(2).H(2)O (2) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) from 1. The syntheses of Ru complexes of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) are also reported. A reaction between K(3)[Ru(III)(ox)(3)] (ox = oxalate) and tren affords fac-[Ru(III)Cl(3)(trenH)]Cl.(1)/(2)H(2)O (3) (trenH = bis(2-aminoethyl)(2-ammonioethyl)amine = monoprotonated tren) and (H(5)O(2))(2)[K(tren)][Ru(III)Cl(6)] (4) as major products and gives fac-[Ru(III)Cl(ox)(trenH)]Cl.(3)/(2)H(2)O (5) in very low reproducibility. A reaction between 3 and bpy affords [Ru(II)(baia)(bpy)](BF(4))(2) (6) (baia = bis(2-aminoethyl)(iminomethyl)amine), in which tren undergoes a selective dehydrogenation into baia. The crystal structures of 2-6 have been determined by X-ray diffraction, and their structural features are discussed in detail. Crystallographic data are as follows: 2, RuF(8)ON(6)C(20)B(2)H(34), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.448(3) ?, b = 13.200(7) ?, c = 17.973(4) ?, beta = 104.28(2) degrees, V = 2862(2) ?(3), and Z = 4; 3, RuCl(4)O(0.5)N(4)C(6)H(20), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/a with a = 13.731(2) ?, b = 14.319(4) ?, c = 13.949(2) ?, beta = 90.77(1) degrees, V = 2742(1) ?(3), and Z = 8; 4, RuKCl(6)O(4)N(4)C(6)H(28), trigonal, space group R&thremacr; with a = 10.254(4), c = 35.03(1) ?, V = 3190(2) ?(3), and Z = 6; 5, RuCl(2)O(5.5)N(4)C(8)H(22), triclinic, space group P&onemacr; with a = 10.336(2) ?, b = 14.835(2) ?, c = 10.234(1) ?, alpha = 90.28(1) degrees, beta = 90.99(1) degrees, gamma = 92.07(1) degrees, V = 1567.9(4) ?(3), and Z = 4; 6, RuF(8)N(6)C(16)B(2)H(24), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a = 10.779(2) ?, b = 14.416(3) ?, c = 14.190(2) ?, beta = 93.75(2) degrees, V = 2200.3(7) ?(3), and Z = 4. Compound 4 possesses a very unique layered structure made up of both anionic and cationic slabs, {[K(tren)](2)[Ru(III)Cl(6)]}(n)()(n)()(-) and {(H(5)O(2))(4)[Ru(III)Cl(6)]}(n)()(n)()(+) (n = infinity), in which both sheets {[K(tren)](2)}(n)()(2)(n)()(+) and {(H(5)O(2))(4)}(n)()(4)(n)()(+) offer cylindrical pores that are occupied with the [Ru(III)Cl(6)](3)(-) anions. The presence of a C=N double bond of baia in 6 is judged from the C-N distance of 1.28(2) ?. It is suggested that the structural restraint enhanced by the attachment of alkylene chelates at the nitrogen donors of amines results in either the mislocation or misdirection of the donors, leading to the elongation of the Ru-N(amine) distances and to the weakening of their trans influence. Such structural strain is also discussed as related to the spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of the cis-[Ru(II)L(4)(bpy)](2+) complexes (L(4) = (NH(3))(4), (ethylenediamine)(2), and cyclam).  相似文献

The reactions of the binuclear oxomolybdenum(V) complex [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;-OEt)(2)(&mgr;-HOEt)Mo(O)Cl(2)] (1) with Me(3)Si(allyl) and SbF(3) produce the compounds [Mo(6)O(6)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(6)(&mgr;(2)-Cl)(2)] (2) and [Mo(8)O(8)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(4)(OH)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OH)(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(4)] (3), respectively. Treatment of 1 with the Lewis base PMe(3) affords the tetrameric complex [Mo(4)O(4)Cl(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(2)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)] (4), which represents another link in the chain of clusters produced by the reactions of 1 and simulating the build-up of polymeric molybdenum oxides by sol-gel methods. The crystal structure of 4 has been determined [C(12)H(32)Cl(4)Mo(4)O(12), triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 7.376(2) ?, b = 8.807(3) ?, c = 11.467(4) ?, alpha = 109.61(1) degrees, beta = 92.12(3) degrees, gamma = 103.75(2) degrees, Z = 1]. By contrast, reaction of 1 with the nitrogen base NEt(3), followed by treatment with [PPN]Cl.2H(2)O ([PPN](+) = [Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)](+)), gives the complex [PPN](+)[Et(3)NH](+)[Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-) (6) in 90% yield. Its crystal structure [C(36)H(30)Cl(4)MoNOP(2), triclinic, Pna2(1), a = 21.470(6) ?, b = 16.765(2) ?, c = 9.6155(14) ?, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 16] includes the anion [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-), which is a charged derivative of the species forming the gels in sol-gel processes starting from chloromolybdenum ethoxides. Furthermore, compound 1 is found to be catalytically active in esterification and dehydration reactions of alcohols.  相似文献

The 1:1 mole ratio reactions of boron trihalides (BX(3)) with tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphine [P(SiMe(3))(3)] produced 1:1 Lewis acid/base adducts [X(3)B.P(SiMe(3))(3), X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (5)]. Analogous 1:1 mole ratio reactions of these boron trihalides with lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)phosphide [LiP(SiMe(3))(2)] produced dimeric boron-phosphorus ring compounds {[X(2)BP(SiMe(3))(2)](2), X = Br (3), Cl (4)}. X-ray crystallographic studies were successfully conducted on compounds 1-4. Compound 1 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.420(3) ?, b = 17.044(5) ?, c = 21.731(7) ?, V = 4970.6(25) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.229 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.022(9) ?, Compound 2 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.581(6) ?, b = 17.106(7) ?, c = 22.021(9) ?, V = 5116(4) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.540 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.00(2) ?. Compound 4 crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 9.143(5) ?, b = 16.021(8) ?, c = 9.170(4) ?, V = 1342.2(11) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.282 g cm(-3) for Z = 2; the B-P bond length was 2.025(3) ?. Thermal decomposition studies were performed on compounds 1-4, yielding colored powders with boron:phosphorus ratios greater than 1:1 and significant C and H contamination indicated by elemental analyses.  相似文献

The preparation of a number of binuclear (salen)osmium phosphinidine and phosphiniminato complexes using various strategies are described. Treatment of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(sol)](X) (sol = H(2)O or MeOH) with PPh(3) affords an osmium(IV) phosphinidine complex [Os(IV){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))(OMe)](X) (X = PF(6)1a, ClO(4)1b). If the reaction is carried out in CH(2)Cl(2) in the presence of excess pyrazine the osmium(III) phosphinidine species [Os(III){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))(pz)](PF(6)) 2 can be generated. On the other hand, if the reaction is carried out in CH(2)Cl(2) in the presence of a small amount of H(2)O, a μ-oxo osmium(IV) phosphinidine complex is obtained, [(L(1)){PPh(3)N(H)}Os(IV)-O-Os(IV){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))](PF(6))(2)3. Furthermore, if the reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(OH(2))]PF(6) with PPh(3) is done in the presence of 2, the μ-pyrazine species, [(L(1)){PPh(3)N(H)}Os(III)-pz-Os(III){N(H)PPh(3)}(L(1))](PF(6))(2)4 can be isolated. Novel binuclear osmium(IV) complexes can be prepared by the use of a diphosphine ligand to attack two Os(VI)≡N. Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(OH(2))](PF(6)) with PPh(2)-C≡C-PPh(2) or PPh(2)-(CH(2))(3)-PPh(2) in MeOH affords the binuclear complexes [(MeO)(L(1))Os(IV){N(H)PPh(2)-R-PPh(2)N(H)}Os(IV)(L(1))(OMe)](PF(6))(2) (R = C≡C 5, (CH(2))(3)6). Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(2))Cl] with PPh(2)FcPPh(2) generates a novel trimetallic complex, [Cl(L(2))Os(IV){NPPh(2)-Fc-PPh(2)N}Os(IV)(L(2))Cl] 7. The structures of 1b, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献
