A simple, yet accurate modi?ed multi-scale method(MMSM) for an approximately analytical solution in nonlinear oscillators with two time scales under forced harmonic excitation is proposed. This method depends on the classical multi-scale method(MSM) and the method of variation of parameters. Assuming that the forced excitation is a constant, one could easily obtain the approximate analytical solution of the simpli?ed system based on the traditional MSM. Then, this solution for the oscillator under forced harmonic excitation could be established after replacing the harmonic excitation by the constant excitation. To certify the correctness and precision of the proposed analytical method, the van der Pol system with two scales subject to slowly periodic excitation is investigated; this system presents rich dynamical phenomena such as spiking(SP),spiking-quiescence(SP-QS), and quiescence(QS) responses. The approximate analytical expressions of the three types of responses are given by the MMSM, and it can be found that the precision of the new analytical method is higher than that of the classical MSM and better than that of the harmonic balance method(HBM). The results obtained by the present method are considerably better than those obtained by traditional methods,quantitatively and qualitatively, particularly when the excitation frequency is far less than the natural frequency of the system.  相似文献

The primary resonances of a quadratic nonlinear system under weak and strong external excitations are investigated with the emphasis on the comparison of different analytical approximate approaches. The forced vibration of snap-through mechanism is treated as a quadratic nonlinear oscillator. The Lindstedt-Poincaré method, the multiple-scale method, the averaging method, and the harmonic balance method are used to determine the amplitude-frequency response relationships of the steady-state responses. It is demonstrated that the zeroth-order harmonic components should be accounted in the application of the harmonic balance method. The analytical approximations are compared with the numerical integrations in terms of the frequency response curves and the phase portraits. Supported by the numerical results, the harmonic balance method predicts that the quadratic nonlinearity bends the frequency response curves to the left. If the excitation amplitude is a second-order small quantity of the bookkeeping parameter, the steady-state responses predicted by the second-order approximation of the LindstedtPoincaré method and the multiple-scale method agree qualitatively with the numerical results. It is demonstrated that the quadratic nonlinear system implies softening type nonlinearity for any quadratic nonlinear coefficients.  相似文献

针对非线性弹性关节机械臂,研究传动过程中的时滞效应对机械臂系统周期振动的影响.本文改进了具有弹性关节的非线性机械臂动力学模型,引入时滞参数,应用多尺度法,得到系统的近似解析解,考察了时滞对机械臂系统周期运动的影响规律.数值软件计算结果表明解析解与数值解具有较好的吻合度.从而验证了本文多尺度方法的有效性和正确性.  相似文献

以载流导线激发的磁场中轴向运动梁为研究对象,同时考虑外激励力作用,推导出梁的磁弹性非线性振动方程.通过位移函数的设定和伽辽金积分法,将非线性振动方程离散为常微分方程组.采用多尺度法得到系统的近似解析解.应用Matlab 和Mathematica 软件求解幅频响应方程,并对稳态解进行稳定性判定.通过具体算例得到前两阶假设模态的响应幅值随不同参数的变化规律.结果发现:系统在内共振条件下发生超谐波共振时,二阶假设模态幅值明显小于一阶;随着外激励的增大,多值解区域范围明显缩小;随着电流强度增加,振动幅值减小,表明载流导线能够起到控制共振的作用.  相似文献

A new approximate analytical approach for accurate higher-order nonlinear solutions of oscillations with large amplitude is presented in this paper. The oscillatory system is subjected to a non-rational restoring force. This approach is built upon linearization of the governing dynamic equation associated with the method of harmonic balance. Unlike the classical harmonic balance method, simple linear algebraic equations instead of nonlinear algebraic equations are obtained upon linearization prior to harmonic balancing. This approach also explores large parameter regions beyond the classical perturbation methods which in principle are confined to problems with small parameters. It has significant contribution as there exist many nonlinear problems without small parameters. Through some examples in this paper, we establish the general approximate analytical formulas for the exact period and periodic solution which are valid for small as well as large amplitudes of oscillation.  相似文献

运用近似解析方法和数值方法研究轴向变速运动黏弹性Rayleigh梁的次谐波共振和组合共振的稳定性区域。基于变分原理,考虑梁断面旋转惯性的影响,推导轴向速度有周期波动的微变形梁横向振动的数学模型;采用多尺度方法建立前两阶次谐波共振和组合共振范围内的参数振动的可解性条件;进而确定梁两端简支边界条件下,因共振而产生的失稳区域;通过微分求积方法求解表征细长Rayleigh梁横向振动的运动微分方程。数值算例分析了黏弹性系数和扭转系数对梁振动失稳区域的影响,将数值仿真结果与近似解析方法的结论进行比较。算例表明:近似解析解的精度较高,第一、第二阶主共振的最大误差分别为3.206%、4.213%。  相似文献

This paper deals with non-linear oscillation of a conservative system having inertia and static non-linearities. By combining the linearization of the governing equation with the method of harmonic balance, we establish analytical approximate solutions for the non-linear oscillations of the system. Unlike the classical harmonic balance method, linearization is performed prior to proceeding with harmonic balancing, thus resulting in a set of linear algebraic equations instead of one of non-linear algebraic equations. Hence, we are able to establish analytical approximate formulas for the exact frequency and periodic solution. These analytical approximate formulas show excellent agreement with the exact solutions, and are valid for small as well as large amplitudes of oscillation.  相似文献

We investigate dynamic characteristics of vibratory compaction system with asymmetrical hysteresis. An asymmetrical model derived from Bouc-Wen differential equation is employed to describe hysteretic behavior of vibration engineering. A practical polynomial expression for hysteretic restoring force is deduced to be substituted into standard equation of the system, assuming that the non-linearity of the restoring force is weak. An asymptotic method, which combines Krylov-Bogolyubov-Mitropolsky (KBM) method with harmonic balance (HB) method, is applied to analyze steady-state responses of the asymmetrical hysteretic system subjected to harmonic excitation. Dynamic responses, such as the restoring force time histories and frequency responses of the system for the first order approximate, are obtained. Furthermore, numerical solution obtained using Runge-Kutta method as well as results of experiments (asphalt compaction on the Beijing-Fuzhou highway) are compared with the asymptotic solution. These results investigated that asymmetrical hysteretic model and the methods applied in this paper are quite appropriate for engineering applications.  相似文献

In this paper, the large-amplitude (geometrically nonlinear) vibrations of rotating, laminated composite circular cylindrical shells subjected to radial harmonic excitation in the neighborhood of the lowest resonances are investigated. Nonlinearities due to large-amplitude shell motion are considered using the Donnell’s nonlinear shallow-shell theory, with account taken of the effect of viscous structure damping. The dynamic Young’s modulus which varies with vibrational frequency of the laminated composite shell is considered. An improved nonlinear model, which needs not to introduce the Airy stress function, is employed to study the nonlinear forced vibrations of the present shells. The system is discretized by Galerkin’s method while a model involving two degrees of freedom, allowing for the traveling wave response of the shell, is adopted. The method of harmonic balance is applied to study the forced vibration responses of the two-degrees-of-freedom system. The stability of analytical steady-state solutions is analyzed. Results obtained with analytical method are compared with numerical simulation. The agreement between them bespeaks the validity of the method developed in this paper. The effects of rotating speed and some other parameters on the nonlinear dynamic response of the system are also investigated.  相似文献

研究了线性动力吸振器复合非线性能量阱对线性镗杆在外部简谐激励下的振动控制. 忽略镗杆系统中的非线性因素, 建立了附加线性动力吸振器和非线性能量阱的镗杆系统的三自由度运动方程, 研究了附加复合式动力吸振器的镗杆系统的受迫振动. 通过平均法得到了附加复合式动力吸振器的镗杆系统的近似解析解, 并利用数值解验证了近似解析解的准确性, 两者具有很好的一致性. 利用近似解析解详细分析了线性动力吸振器和非线性能量阱的参数对镗杆振动抑制性能的影响. 对给定质量的复合式动力吸振器进行了参数优化, 其中线性动力吸振器参数采用H优化方法的近似解析解进行了优化, 非线性能量阱的阻尼利用系统的近似解析解进行了优化. 分析结果表明, 线性动力吸振器与非线性能量阱组合可以有效抑制线性镗杆系统的振动, 而且采用参数优化后的复合式动力吸振器可以获得更好的减振效果. 通过附加非线性能量阱, 不但可以提高线性动力吸振器的振动抑制效果, 而且还可以提高振动控制系统的鲁棒性.   相似文献

An analytical approach is developed for the nonlinear oscillation of a conservative, two-degree-of-freedom (TDOF) mass-spring system with serial combined linear–nonlinear stiffness excited by a constant external force. The main idea of the proposed approach lies in two categories, the first one is the transformation of two nonlinear differential equations of a two-mass system using suitable intermediate variables into a single nonlinear differential equation. Another is the treatment a quadratic nonlinear oscillator (QNO) by the modified Lindstedt–Poincaré (L-P) method presented recently by the authors. The first-order and second-order analytical approximations for the modified L-P method are established for the QNOs with satisfactory results. After solving the nonlinear differential equation, the displacements of two-mass system can be obtained directly from the governing linear second-order differential equation. Unlike the common perturbation method, the modified L-P method is valid for weak as well as strong nonlinear oscillation systems. On the other hand, the new approach yields simple approximate analytical expressions valid for small as well as large amplitudes of oscillation. In short, this new approach yields extended scope of applicability, simplicity, flexibility in application, and avoidance of complicated numerical integration as compared to the previous approaches such as the perturbation and classical harmonic balance methods. Two examples of nonlinear TDOF mass-spring systems excited by a constant external force are selected and the approximate solutions are verified with the exact solutions derived from the Jacobi elliptic function and also the numerical fourth-order Runge–Kutta solutions.  相似文献

以充液航天器为工程背景,借助多尺度方法研究刚--液耦合动力学系统非线性动力学特性.利用多维模态方法,将描述横向外激励下圆柱贮箱中液体非线性晃动的自由边界问题转换为液体模态系数相互耦合的有限维非线性常微分方程组.推导液体晃动产生的作用于贮箱壁的晃动力和晃动力矩的解析表达式,进而建立航天器刚体部分平动和液体晃动耦合的非线性动力学方程组.应用多尺度方法对刚--液耦合系统的动力学特性进行解析分析,通过固有频率的特征方程求解耦合系统固有频率,推导外激励频率接近耦合系统第一阶固有频率时液体晃动稳态解的幅值频率响应方程.结合数值方法,研究了液体晃动稳态解的幅值频率响应曲线和激励--幅值响应曲线.结果表明, 随充液比变化,液体晃动稳态解的幅值频率响应曲线会发生软、硬弹簧特性转换现象和"跳跃"现象;幅值频率响应曲线的软、硬弹簧特性转换点受重力加速度和弹簧刚度系数影响;以上所得研究结果表明,考虑非线性效应时的刚--液耦合系统动力学特性与传统的线性系统模型所显示的动力学特性具有本质区别.本文的研究工作对进一步分析充液航天器刚--液耦合非线性动力学特性具有重要参考价值.   相似文献

An analytical approximate technique for large amplitude oscillations of a class of conservative single degree-of-freedom systems with odd non-linearity is proposed. The method incorporates salient features of both Newton's method and the harmonic balance method. Unlike the classical harmonic balance method, accurate analytical approximate solutions are possible because linearization of the governing differential equation by Newton's method is conducted prior to harmonic balancing. The approach yields simple linear algebraic equations instead of non-linear algebraic equations without analytical solution. With carefully constructed iterations, only a few iterations can provide very accurate analytical approximate solutions for the whole range of oscillation amplitude beyond the domain of possible solution by the conventional perturbation methods or harmonic balance method. Three examples including cubic-quintic Duffing oscillators are presented to illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed technique.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel scheme for nonlinear displacement-dependent (NDD) damper is introduced. The damper is attached to a simple mass-spring-damper vibration system. The vibration system equipped with a NDD damper is mathematically modeled and the nonlinear governing differential equation of the system is derived. To obtain the displacement of the system, the approximate analytical solution of the governing equation is elaborated using the multiple scales method. The advised approximate analytical algorithm is performed for several case studies and is also verified by the numerical fourth-order Runge?CKutta method. In addition, the performance of the NDD damper is analyzed and compared with the performance of the traditional linear damper. It is found that the proposed NDD damper scheme along with the multiple scales method is not only feasible for vibration reduction but also yields satisfactory response performance rather than the existing traditional linear damper.  相似文献

The resonant resonance response of a single-degree-of-freedom non-linear vibro-impact oscillator, with cubic non-linearity items, to combined deterministic harmonic and random excitations is investigated. The method of multiple scales is used to derive the equations of modulation of amplitude and phase. The effects of damping, detuning, and intensity of random excitations are analyzed by means of perturbation and stochastic averaging method. The theoretical analyses verified by numerical simulations show that when the intensity of the random excitation increases, the non-trivial steady-state solution may change from a limit cycle to a diffused limit cycle. Under certain conditions, impact system may have two steady-state responses. One is a non-impact response, and the other is either an impact one or a non-impact one.  相似文献

The axial fluid-induced vibration of pipes is very widespread in engineering applications. The nonlinear forced vibration of a viscoelastic fluid-conveying pipe with nonlinear supports at both ends is investigated. The multi-scale method combined with the modal revision method is formulated for the fluid-conveying pipe system with nonlinear boundary conditions. The governing equations and the nonlinear boundary conditions are rescaled simultaneously as linear inhomogeneous equations and linear inhomogeneous boundary conditions on different time-scales. The modal revision method is used to transform the linear inhomogeneous boundary problem into a linear homogeneous boundary problem. The differential quadrature element method (DQEM) is used to verify the approximate analytical results. The results show good agreement between these two methods. A detailed analysis of the boundary nonlinearity is also presented. The obtained results demonstrate that the boundary nonlinearities have a significant effect on the dynamic characteristics of the fluid-conveying pipe, and can lead to significant differences in the dynamic responses of the pipe system.

对一类采用有限相对位移控制的含时滞单自由度半主动悬架系统进行了动力学分析.首先通过平均法得到了该系统的一阶近似解, 然后基于Lyapunov理论建立了系统的稳定性条件, 结果表明近似解的稳态幅值和稳定性条件都是时滞量的周期函数, 并且和外激励具有相同周期.通过对数值解和解析解的幅频曲线进行比较, 验证了一阶近似解析解的准确性, 并且解释了半主动控制中的高频颤振现象.研究了被动悬架系统并且和半主动悬架系统进行了比较, 证实了半主动悬架系统的优越性.最后, 探讨了一些关键的系统参数, 如控制间隙、时滞量、最小阻尼比等对半主动悬架系统稳态幅值的影响.  相似文献
