本文研究结构几何非线性与气动力非平面效应对大展弦比复合材料机翼的气动弹性行为的影响.将非线性有限元法与曲面涡格法结合,计算机翼静气动弹性变形;通过曲面偶极子格网法结合静气动弹性平衡位置处的结构切线刚度,建立气动弹性方程并求解得到机翼颤振速度.针对板模型机翼,分析了迎角对机翼几何非线性气动弹性特性的影响.结果表明:本文复合材料板模型机翼的颤振形式不受水平弯曲模态影响,属于经典弯扭颤振;在几何非线性的影响下,机翼扭转频率随结构变形增大而明显减小,颤振速度随迎角增大而减小.  相似文献

Nonlinear dynamic aeroelasticity of composite wings in compressible flows is investigated. To provide a reasonable model for the problem, the composite wing is modeled as a thin walled beam (TWB) with circumferentially asymmetric stiffness layup configuration. The structural model considers nonlinear strain displacement relations and a number of non-classical effects, such as transverse shear and warping inhibition. Geometrically nonlinear terms of up to third order are retained in the formulation. Unsteady aerodynamic loads are calculated according to a compressible model, described by indicial function approximations in the time domain. The aeroelastic system of equations is augmented by the differential equations governing the aerodynamics lag states to derive the final explicit form of the coupled fluid-structure equations of motion. The final nonlinear governing aeroelastic system of equations is solved using the eigenvectors of the linear structural equations of motion to approximate the spatial variation of the corresponding degrees of freedom in the Ritz solution method. Direct time integrations of the nonlinear equations of motion representing the full aeroelastic system are conducted using the well-known Runge–Kutta method. A comprehensive insight is provided over the effect of parameters such as the lamination fiber angle and the sweep angle on the stability margins and the limit cycle oscillation behavior of the system. Integration of the interpolation method employed for the evaluation of compressible indicial functions at any Mach number in the subsonic compressible range to the derivation process of the third order nonlinear aeroelastic system of equations based on TWB theory is done for the first time. Results show that flutter speeds obtained by the incompressible unsteady aerodynamics are not conservative and as the backward sweep angle of the wing is increased, post-flutter aeroelastic response of the wing becomes more well-behaved.  相似文献

引入微分求积法,分析高速小展弦比机翼的气动弹性问题。将小展弦比机翼等效为悬臂板,基于一阶活塞气动力理论建立机翼颤振偏微分方程,采用微分求积法将偏微分方程转化为常微分方程,根据频率重合理论对颤振问题进行求解。分析了机翼的固有频率及颤振速度,并与有限元软件计算结果进行比较,误差在2%以内,很好的验证了微分求积法求解小展弦比机翼颤振问题的有效性。分析了机翼面积、展弦比及厚度对颤振速度的影响,结果表明,小展弦比机翼的颤振速度受结构尺寸的影响较大,颤振速度随面积和展弦比的增大而减小,随机翼厚度的增大而增大。  相似文献

The aeroelastic stability of cantilevered plates with their clamped edge oriented both parallel and normal to subsonic flow is a classical fluid–structure interaction problem. When the clamped edge is parallel to the flow the system loses stability in a coupled bending and torsion motion known as wing flutter. When the clamped edge is normal to the flow the instability is exclusively bending and is referred to as flapping flag flutter. This paper explores the stability of plates during the transition between these classic aeroelastic configurations. The aeroelastic model couples a classical beam structural model to a three-dimensional vortex lattice aerodynamic model. The aeroelastic stability is evaluated in the frequency domain and the flutter boundary is presented as the plate is rotated from the flapping flag to the wing configuration. The transition between the flag-like and wing-like instability is often abrupt and the yaw angle of the flow for the transition is dependent on the relative spacing of the first torsion and second bending natural frequencies. This paper also includes ground vibration and aeroelastic experiments carried out in the Duke University Wind Tunnel that confirm the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The dynamic stability of a tapered viscoelastic wing subjected to unsteady aerodynamic forces is investigated. The wing is considered as a cantilever tapered Euler–Bernoulli beam. The beam is made of a linear viscoelastic material where Kelvin–Voigt model is assumed to represent the viscoelastic behavior of the material. The governing equations of motion are derived through the extended Hamilton’s principle. The resulting partial differential equations are solved via Galerkin’s method along with the classical flutter investigation approach. The developed model is validated against the well-known Goland wing and HALE wing and good agreement is obtained. Different solution methods, namely; the k method, the p-k method, and the flutter determinant method are compared for the case of elastic wing. However, when the viscoelastic damping is introduced, the k and p-k methods become less effective. The flutter determinant method is modified and employed to carry out non-dimensional parametric study on the Goland wing. The study includes the effects of parameters such as the taper ratio, the density ratio, the viscoelastic damping of wing structure and many other parameters on the flutter speed and flutter frequency. The study reveals that a tapered wing would be more dynamically stable than a uniform wing. It is also observed that the viscoelastic damping provides wider stability region for the wing. The investigation shows that the density ratio, bending-to-torsion frequency ratio, and the radius of gyration have significant effects on the dynamic stability of the wing. Based on the obtained results, a wing with an elastic center and inertial center that are located closer to the mid-chord would be more dynamically stable.  相似文献

Based on the piston theory of supersonic flow and the energy method, the flutter motion equations of a two-dimensional wing with cubic stiffness in the pitching direction are established. The aeroelastic system contains both structural and aerodynamic nonlinearities. Hopf bifurcation theory is used to analyze the flutter speed of the system. The effects of system parameters on the flutter speed are studied. The 4th order Runge-Kutta method is used to calculate the stable limit cycle responses and chaotic motions of the aeroelastic system. Results show that the number and the stability of equilibrium points of the system vary with the increase of flow speed. Besides the simple limit cycle response of period 1, there are also period-doubling responses and chaotic motions in the flutter system. The route leading to chaos in the aeroelastic model used here is the period-doubling bifurcation. The chaotic motions in the system occur only when the flow speed is higher than the linear divergent speed and the initial condition is very small. Moreover, the flow speed regions in which the system behaves chaos axe very narrow.  相似文献

采用时域计算分析方法进行了机翼跨音速颤振特性研究。在结构运动网格的基础上,采用格点格式有限体积方法进行空间离散和双时间全隐式方法进行时间推进求解雷诺平均N-S方程。针对流动粘性分别应用了SST湍流模型和SSG雷诺应力模型,通过对跨音速标模算例AGARD445.6机翼的计算结果与实验值的对比分析,其中应用SST湍流模型得到的颤振速度与实验值最为接近,特别是在跨音速段平均相对误差在3%以内;并且计算结果整体上反映了跨音速颤振"凹坑"物理特性,验证了方法的有效性。  相似文献

In this study, the nonlinear aeroelastic stability of wind turbine blade with bending–bending–twist coupling has been investigated for composite thin-walled structure with pretwist angle. The aerodynamic model used here is the differential dynamic stall nonlinear ONERA model. The nonlinear aeroelastic equations are reduced to ordinary equations by Galerkin method, with the aerodynamic force decomposition by strip theory. The nonlinear resulting equations are solved by a time-marching approach, and are linearized by small perturbation about the equilibrium point. The nonlinear aeroelastic stability characteristics are investigated through eigenvalue analysis, nonlinear time domain response, and linearized time domain response.  相似文献

Effects of engine placement on flutter characteristics of a very flexible high-aspect-ratio wing are investigated using the code NATASHA (Nonlinear Aeroelastic Trim And Stability of HALE Aircraft). Gravity for this class of wings plays an important role in flutter characteristics. In the absence of aerodynamic and gravitational forces and without an engine, the kinetic energy of the first two modes are calculated. Maximum and minimum flutter speed locations coincide with the area of minimum and maximum kinetic energy of the second bending and torsion modes. Time-dependent dynamic behavior of a turboshaft engine (JetCat SP5) is simulated with a transient engine model and the nonlinear aeroelastic response of the wing to the engine’s time-dependent thrust and dynamic excitation is presented. Below the flutter speed, at the wing tip and behind the elastic axis, the impulse engine excitation leads to a stable limit cycle oscillation; and for the ramp kind of excitation, beyond the flutter speed, at 75 % span, behind the elastic axis, it produces chaotic oscillation in the wing. Both the excitations above the flutter speed are stabilized, inboard of the wing.  相似文献

The aeroelastic behavior of wing models is nonlinear particularly in the transonic speed range. The interaction between aerodynamic and structural forces can lead to the occurrence of Limit-Cycle Oscillations (LCOs). If in addition the wing model is flexible and backward swept, the kinematic coupling between bending and torsion makes the situation even more complex.In the research project “Aerostabil” such a wing was investigated, which was equipped with pressure transducers in three sections and accelerometers. The experiments were performed in the adaptive test section of the transonic wind tunnel TWG in Göttingen. Already Dietz et al. (2003) have reported about experimental details and preliminary results. Based on these data Bendiksen (2008) studied numerically LCO-flutter behavior using a very similar, theoretical model (G-wing) and Stickan et al. (2014) used the original data as a LCO flutter test case. The influence of flexibility on the steady aerodynamics of the wing was described in Schewe & Mai (2018). In this paper now the flutter experiments with the same flexible model were analyzed systematically in the transonic range 0.84 <Ma <0.89 and for six angles of attack from 1.46°to 2.7°. Maps of stability, LCO amplitudes and instantaneous pressure distributions are presented. It was found that unstable regions are islands, whose extent depends on the angle of attack. A LCO test case, already treated in the literature is examined in more detail. The analysis of the time functions showed that during LCO-flutter the motion induced aerodynamic sectional lift forces particularly in the outer wing are asymmetric and thus acting as amplitude limiter. The reason for the asymmetry lies in the shock/boundary layer interaction. The test case, containing the stages of built-up and the transition to the limit cycle provides an excellent opportunity for improving our knowledge about LCOs and for code validation purposes.  相似文献

The paper presents a computational and experimental study of the nonlinear aeroelastic response of a pre-tensed, high aspect-ratio, thin membrane strip. The goal of the study is to derive and validate a computational model that can be used for analysis and design of membrane strips, for the purpose of energy harvesting from flutter at low airspeeds. The mathematical model is based on a pre-tensed-beam model, accounting for bending and torsional stiffening effects due to pretension and large deformations. The aerodynamic model is a potential flow model. The equations of motion are written as a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations, using Galerkin’s method, and are simulated numerically. The nonlinear aeroelastic model is used to study the oscillation characteristics of the membrane strip in the various stability regions. The effects of the initial pretension and non-linear stiffening on the energy-harvesting potential of the system are studied. The combined effect of the preload on the flutter onset speed, on the flutter frequency and amplitude, and on the loss of orbital stability, indicate that an optimal preload can be determined based on the intended airspeed range for energy harvesting. A series of wind tunnel tests are conducted, in which the flutter onset velocity, and the post-flutter frequencies and amplitudes are measured. Good agreement between the experimental data and computational results validate the computational model.  相似文献

本文首先对某飞机原机翼外形进行了详尽的气动分析计算,然后确定了设计思路和方案,探讨了后掠角变化对机翼气动性能的影响,研究选定了减小外翼后掠角的机翼新平面形状,采用先进的CFD软件优化机翼的气动设计,根据不同设计思想进行了多个机翼的外形优化,包括新的翼剖面和弯扭配置,最后将优化设计结果与原机翼进行了对比,对比结果表明,以Q5-M2T和Q5-N2T为代表的优化结果取得了十分理想的改进效果,优化机翼提高了气动性能,机翼升阻比提高了20%-30%,满足了飞机载弹量增大后性能仍可以全面提高的设计要求。  相似文献

This paper aims to investigate aeroelastic stability boundary of subsonic wings under the effect of thrust of two engines. The wing structure is modeled as a tapered composite box-beam. Moreover, an indicial function based model is used to calculate the unsteady lift and moment distribution along the wing span in subsonic compressible flow. The two jet engines mounted on the wing are modeled as concentrated masses and the effect of thrust of each engine is applied as a follower force. Using Hamilton's principle along with Galerkin's method, the governing equations of motion are derived, then the obtained equations are solved in frequency domain using the K-method and the aeroelastic instability conditions are determined. The flutter analysis results of four example wings are compared with the experimental and analytical results in the literature and good agreements are achieved which validate the present model. Furthermore, based on several case studies on a reference wing, some attempts are performed to analyze the effect of thrust on the stability margin of the wing and some conclusions are outlined.  相似文献

This study proposes the parametric active aeroelastic control of a folding wing, which is a promising concept of morphing wings, by integrating the parameterized aeroservoelastic model and the receptance-based control strategy. It starts with establishing the parameterized aeroservoelastic model of the folding wing with respect to its folding angle and air speed. The transfer functions between the embedded sensors and the actuators of the folding wing are then efficiently obtained using the parameterized aeroservoelastic model. Finally, control gains for varying folding angle and air speed of the wing are synthesized using the receptance method. The results of numerical analyses show that smooth evolutions of the control gains can be obtained over a wide range of folding angles and air speeds, although the dynamic behavior of the folding wing is sensitive to these parameters. In addition, the active aeroelastic control can effectively suppress aeroelastic vibrations and expand flutter boundaries of the folding wing. The benefit of the parametric active aeroelastic control for the folding wing, i.e., smoothly switching among the control laws without exciting undesirable vibrations is highlighted.  相似文献

Aeroelastic analyses are performed for a 2-D typical section model with multiple nonlinearities. The differences between a system with multiple nonlinearities in its pitch and plunge spring and a system with a single nonlinearity in its pitch are thoroughly investigated. The unsteady supersonic aerodynamic forces are calculated by the doublet point method (DPM). The iterative V-g method is used for a multiple-nonlinear aeroelastic analysis in the frequency domain and the freeplay nonlinearity is linearized using a describing function method. In the time domain, the DPM unsteady aerodynamic forces, which are based on a function of the reduced frequency, are approximated by the minimum state approximation method. Consequently, multiple structural nonlinearities in the 2-D typical wing section model are influenced by the pitch to plunge frequency ratio. This result is important in that it demonstrates that the flutter speed is closely connected with the frequency ratio, considering that both pitch and plunge nonlinearities result in a higher flutter speed boundary than a conventional aeroelastic system with only one pitch nonlinearity. Furthermore, the gap size of the freeplay affects the amplitude of the limit cycle oscillation (LCO) to gap size ratio.  相似文献

In this paper, the aeroelastic analyses of a rectangular cantilever plate of varying aspect ratio is presented. The classical plate theory has been selected as the structural model. The main point that distinguishes this study from previously reported research is employing Peters’ theory to model aerodynamic effect which is not straightforward. The Peters’ aerodynamic model was originally developed to provide lift and moment, which is only applicable to the structural model based on the beam theories. In this study, using the basic concept of the Peters’ aerodynamic model in addition to utilizing the Fourier series, the pressure distribution is derived, which makes Peters’ model applicable to structural models based on plate theory. This combination provides a much simpler state–space aeroelastic model for plates in comparison to the prevalent panel methods, which could lead to a significant reduction in computational time. In addition, the aeroelastic response of the plate with respect to changes in the structural model from the beam theory to the plate theory is evaluated. By using data from an experiment carried out at Duke University, the theoretical results are evaluated. Furthermore, the differences in structural models obtained from the plate and beam theories can be divided into two distinct parts, which are responsible for differences in bending and torsional behaviors of the structure, separately. This approach enables us to measure the effects of differences of each behavior separately, which could provide with a new insight into the problem. It has been determined that the flutter speeds obtained from the beam and plate aeroelastic models are little affected by the difference in bending behavior, but rather is mainly caused by the difference in torsional frequencies.  相似文献

This paper aims the nonlinear aeroelastic analysis of slender wings using a nonlinear structural model coupled with the linear unsteady aerodynamic model. High aspect ratio and flexibility are the specific characteristic of this type of wings. Wing flexibility, coupled with long wingspan can lead to large deflections during normal flight operation of an aircraft; therefore, a wing in vertical/forward-afterward/torsional motion using a third-order form of nonlinear general flexible Euler–Bernoulli beam equations is used for structural modeling. Unsteady linear aerodynamic strip theory based on the Wagner function is used for determination of aerodynamic loading on the wing. Combining these two types of formulation yields nonlinear integro-differentials aeroelastic equations. Using the Galerkin’s method and a mode summation technique, the governing equations will be solved by introducing a numerical method without the need to adding any aerodynamic state space variables and the corresponding equations related to these variables of the problem. The obtained equations are solved to predict the aeroelastic response of the problem. The obtained results for a test case are compared with those of some other works and show a good agreement between results.  相似文献

Numerical aeroelastic simulation of a high-aspect-ratio transport type wing model in transonic region is presented. The aeroelastic responses of the wing are extracted by integrating compressible thin-layer Navier-Stokes equations coupled with the equations of motion of the wing structure, in a time dependent manner. The Yee-Harten implicit TVD scheme and the Wilson's θ method are employed to integrate these equations, respectively. Flutter boundaries were found for Mach number range, 0.7 to 0.85 and the results were compared with experimental flutter boundaries. Futhermore, Limit Cycle Oscillations were found and the characteristics of the flutter and limit cycle oscillations are investigated and discussed.  相似文献

The fluid–structure interactions of a finite aspect ratio, cantilevered, flexible wing were investigated using a cyber-physical system to virtually augment the torsional dynamics of the wing. Cyber-physical systems (CPS), which have recently been pursued by a small number of research groups, have proven to be a very useful mechanism to interrogate the fluid–structure interaction parameter space. The premise of a CPS is to use dynamic feedback control to make a system behave according to desired equations of motion. Systems are composed of embedded hardware and software coupled with real-time computing to give the user the flexibility to quickly explore a range of structural parameters. With the advancement of modern control theory, robotics and embedded systems, CPSs integrate both simulation and physical properties into a smart structure which can be used to push the boundaries of research investigations.The CPS in this work allows for the investigation of dynamic aeroelastic instabilities of a three-dimensional, flexible, rectangular planform wing. Two dynamic instability regimes are observed: first, stall flutter, in which the torsional or pitch mode is excited through the dynamic stall process, and second, coupled (or classical) flutter, in which the pitch mode couples with the bending mode. By varying the torsional stiffness and therefore the frequency of torsional versus bending oscillations of the wing, both of these regimes can be attained at the same aerodynamic conditions using the CPS.  相似文献
