Topological degree theory and fixed point theorems in probabilistic metric spaces

The Leray-Schauder topological degree theory is established in the probabilistic linear normed spaces. Based on this theory, some fixed point theorems for mappings in the probabilistic linear normed spaces are shown.The projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China.     

Probabilistic contractor couple and solutions for a system of nonlinear equations in non-archimedean menger probabilistic normed spaces

The Purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of probabilistic contractor couple in non-Archimedean probabilistic normed spaces and to study the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a system of nonlinear operator equations with probabilistic contractor couples in non-Archimedean probabilistic normed spaces.The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results in[1-5].     

On the existence of solutions for equations with accretive mappings in probabilistic normed spaces

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of accretive mapping inprobabilistic normed space(PN space,in short)and to study the existence problem ofsolutions for equations with accretive mappings in PN space and some existence theoremsare shown.     

On the probabilistic inner product spaces

In this paper a new definition for probabilistic inner product spaces is given. By virtue of this definition, some convergence theorems, Schwarz inequality and the orthogonal concept for probabilistic inner product spaces are established and introduced. Moreover, the relationship between this kind of spaces and probabilistic normed spaces is considered also.Projects Supported by the Science Fund of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.     

Solution and stability of mixed type functional equation in non-Archimedean random normed spaces

The generalized stability of the Euler-Lagrange quadratic mappings in the framework of non-Archimedean random normed spaces is proved. The interdisciplinary relation among the theory of random spaces, the theory of non-Archimedean spaces, and the theory of functional equations is presented.     

BASIC THEORY AND APPLICATIONS OF PROBABILISTIC METRIC SPACES (Ⅰ)

This paper is devoted to the study of the basic theory and applications of probabilistic metric spaces (PM-space). In this paper the topological structure and properties for PM-space are considered. The conditions of metrization and the form of metric functions for PM-spaces. Menger PM-spaces and probabilistic normed linear spaces (PN-space) are given and the characterizations of various probabilistically bounded sets are presented. As applications we utilize these results obtained in this paper to study the linear operator theory and fixed point theory on PM-spaces. Fixed point theorems in probabilistic inner product spaces

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new maditying detinition for probabilistie inner product space, and to establish seveeral new fixed point theorems for mappings on such kind of spaces, As an example of applications. we utilize the results of this paper to study the existence and uniqueness of solution of Uryson’s integral equation in IV.

Non-Contraction of Heat Flow on Minkowski Spaces

We study contractivity properties of gradient flows for functions on normed spaces or, more generally, on Finsler manifolds. Contractivity of the flows turns out to be equivalent to a new notion of convexity for the functions. This is different from the usual convexity along geodesics in non-Riemannian Finsler manifolds. As an application, we show that the heat flow on Minkowski normed spaces other than inner product spaces is not contractive with respect to the quadratic Wasserstein distance.     

Stability of a cubic functional equation in intuitionistic random normed spaces

In this paper, the stability of a cubic functional equation in the setting of intuitionistic random normed spaces is proved. We first introduce the notation of intuitionistic random normed spaces. Then, by virtue of this notation, we study the stability of a cubic functional equation in the setting of these spaces under arbitrary triangle norms. Furthermore, we present the interdisciplinary relation among the theory of random spaces, the theory of intuitionistic spaces, and the theory of functional equations.     

The embedded theorem for family of quasi metric spaces in Menger space and its application

In this paper the notion of embedding for family of quasi metric spaces in Menger spaces is introduced and its properties are investigated. A common fixed point theorem for sequence of continuous mappings in Menger spaces is proved. These mappings are assumed to satisfy some generalizations of the contraction condition. The proving technique herein seems to be new even for mappings in Menger spaces.

Maximal elements and generalized games involving condensing mappings in locally FC-uniform spaces and applications (Ⅰ)

First, the notions of the measure of noncompactness and condensing setvalued mappings are introduced in locally FC-uniform spaces without convexity structure. A new existence theorem of maximal elements of a family of set-valued mappings involving condensing mappings is proved in locally FC-uniform spaces. As applications,some new equilibrium existence theorems of generalized game involving condensing mappings are established in locally FC-uniform spaces. These results improve and generalize some known results in literature to locally FC-uniform spaces. Some further applications of our results to the systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems will be given in a follow-up paper.

Nonempty intersection theorems and system of generalized vector equilibrium problems in product G-convex spaces

By using an existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of set-valued mappings in G-convex spaces due to the author, some new nonempty intersection theorems for a family of set-valued mappings were established in noncompact product G-convex spaces. As applications, some equilibrium existence theorems for a system of generalized vector equilibrium problems were proved in noncompact product G-convex spaces. These theorems unify, improve and generalize some important known results in literature.

This paper is a continuum of the preceding paper of author. Some new systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems involving condensing mappings are introduced and studied in locally FC-uniform spaces. By applying the existence theorem of maximal elements of condensing set-valued mappings in locally FC-uniform spaces obtained by author in the preceding paper, some new existence theorems of solutions for the systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems are proved in locally FC-uniform spaces.
