Determining the structural behavior of masonry structures is a challenge due to their lack of homogeneity. The seismic behavior of masonry structures is especially complex. The aim of this study was to examine the structural behavior of Za?anos Bastion using both experimental and numerical methods. The Operational Modal Analysis technique, including the Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition Method, and the Stochastic Subspace Identification Method were used to illustrate experimentally the dynamic characteristic of the bastion. A finite element model was developed using ANSYS software in order that the dynamic characteristics of the bastion, including natural frequencies and mode shapes, could be calculated numerically. Seismic analysis was carried out using the 1999 Kocaeli earthquake ground motion record to determine the linear and nonlinear seismic behavior of the bastion. The Turkish Earthquake Code and its general technical specifications were used to evaluate the seismic results. The results show that the maximum and minimum principal stresses exerted on the masonry components exceeded the code requirements at some points, but in general the requirements for the stresses were satisfied.  相似文献

以黄登重力坝的溢流坝为研究背景,考虑混凝土的高应变率效应,运用Lagrange-Euler耦合算法建立大坝-库水-空气-炸药全耦合数值模型,研究溢流坝在接触爆炸荷载作用下的抗爆性能。分析满库与空库时溢流坝在爆炸冲击波作用下的动力响应及损伤程度,并进一步研究满库时大坝在不同炸点的水下接触爆炸荷载作用下的动力响应及损伤分布。研究结果表明,满库时水下爆炸比空库时爆炸的动力响应及损伤程度大得多;溢流坝的抗爆薄弱部位主要集中在溢流道顶部及坝体上游折坡处。研究溢流坝的抗爆性能时应重点研究满库时水下爆炸对大坝的破坏特性。  相似文献

在销-盘摩擦磨损试验机上进行了船用柴油机缸套-活塞环摩擦配副摩擦磨损试验,应用谐波小波包变换分析了不同磨损状态下的摩擦振动信号.结果表明:谐波小波包变换可提取微弱的摩擦振动特征.当磨损机制为轻微的黏着磨损时,摩擦振动信号的频谱以边频为主,没有明显的固有频率,平均幅值小;当磨损机制以磨粒磨损为主时,摩擦振动信号的频谱出现较大峰值的固有频率,但仍存在大量的边频,平均幅值变大;当磨损机制以疲劳磨损为主时,摩擦振动信号频谱的固有频率更加明显,边频显著减弱,平均幅值最大.因此,谐波小波包变换可实现微弱摩擦振动信号的特征提取.  相似文献

高拱坝的动力破坏特性越来越受到关注,动力特性和动力响应是其研究的一个重要方面。通过模型试验的方法研究高拱坝动力特性和动力响应的特征,动力特性试验比较了完好结构与有施工横缝结构的基阶动力特性,表明当结构存在施工横缝时,结构基阶频率降低,阻尼增大。结构动力响应采用振动台模拟地震波激励,试验结果表明,完整结构与有施工缝结构动力响应具体数据不同,但规律相同。加速度最大响应沿拱顶水平向在坝中拱顶的值最大,向两边的坝肩处,加速度最大响应逐渐减小。沿拱坝垂向加速度最大响应从坝顶到基础,响应均逐渐减小。试验结果可为高拱坝结构动力安全研究提供技术依据。  相似文献

Historic masonry arch bridges are vital components of transportation systems in many countries worldwide, ensuring the ready access of goods and services to millions of people. The structural failure of these historic structures would severely and adversely impact the economies of these nations due to the massive disruptions of transportation systems accompanying such failures. To successfully maintain these aging masonry structures, performance assessment must incorporate the unique mechanical characteristics of masonry. Therefore, the preferred analysis technique must go beyond a linear approach. This study assesses the earthquake performance of a restored historical masonry arch bridge through nonlinear finite element analysis incorporating the Drucker–Prager damage criterion. The case study structure is the Mikron Arch Bridge, a nineteenth century Ottoman Era structure built over the Firtina River near Rize, Turkey, and restored in 1998. The Mikron Arch Bridge was first subjected to ambient vibration testing, during which accelerometers were placed at several points on the bridge span to record the bridge vibratory response. The investigators then used Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition and Stochastic Subspace Identification techniques to extract the experimental natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping ratios from these measurements. Experimental results were compared with those obtained by the linear finite element analysis of the bridge. Good agreement between mode shapes was observed during this comparison, though natural frequencies disagree by 8–10%. The boundary conditions of the linear finite element model of Mikron Arch Bridge are adjusted such that the analytical predictions agree with the ambient vibration test results. By introducing the Drucker–Prager damage criterion, the calibrated linear FE model was next extended into a nonlinear model. Nonlinear analysis of seismic behavior of Mikron arch bridge was performed considering the acceleration record of Erzincan earthquake in 1992 that occurred near the Mikron Bridge region. The displacement and stress results were observed to be allowable level of the stone material. Moreover, linear FE model calibrations elicited a significant influence on the nonlinear FE model simulations.  相似文献

为了研究高拱坝的气幕隔震效果,基于动力相似准则,设计了坝体-坝基-气幕-库水三相耦合系统的动力试验模型。其中,坝体材料采用河沙、重晶石粉、铁粉、松香、酒精调制而成,坝基材料采用膨胀珍珠岩和石膏调制的轻质材料,气幕厚度为1cm,均匀地覆盖在坝体上游面,气室壁材料选用ABS工程塑料。基于该模型,完成了两种实测地震波不同峰值加速度共计12个工况的大型振动台试验。试验结果表明:气幕使动水压力显著降低,坝体加速度也相应减小;靠近坝底的测点动水压力削减达70%以上,坝顶加速度减小约20%。因此,气幕可提高坝体的抗震性能。  相似文献

Thermo-mechanical vibrations of a simply supported spring-mass-beam system are investigated analytically in this paper. Taking into account the thermal effects, the nonlinear equations of motion and internal/external boundary conditions are derived through Hamilton’s principle and constitutive relations. Under quasi-static assumptions, the equations governing the longitudinal motion are transformed into functions of transverse displacements, which results in three integro-partial differential equations with coupling terms. These are solved using the direct multiple-scale method, leading to closed-form solutions for the mode functions, nonlinear natural frequencies and frequency–response curves of the system. The influence of system parameters on the linear and nonlinear natural frequencies, mode functions, and frequency–response curves is studied through numerical parametric analysis. It is shown that the vibration characteristics depend on the mid-plane stretching, intra-span spring, point mass, and temperature change.  相似文献

In the design of electric machines, devices, and plasma generator bearing constructions, it is sometimes necessary to study the influence of magnetic fields on the vibration frequency spectra of thin-walled elements. The main equations of magnetoelastic vibrations of plates and shells are given in [1], where the influence of the magnetic field on the fundamental frequencies and vibration shapes is also studied. When studying the higher frequencies and vibration modes of plates and shells, it is very efficient to use Bolotin’s asymptotic method [2–4]. A survey of studies of its applications to problems of elastic system vibrations and stability can be found in [5, 6]. Bolotin’s asymptotic method was used to obtain estimates for the density of natural frequencies of shallow shell vibrations [3] and to study the influence of the membrane stressed state on the distribution of frequencies of cylindrical and spherical shells vibrations [7, 8]. In a similar way, the influence of the longitudinal magnetic field on the distribution of plate and shell vibration frequencies was studied [9, 10]. It was shown that there is a decrease in the vibration frequencies of cylindrical shells under the action of a longitudinal magnetic field, and the accumulation point of the natural frequencies moves towards the region of lower frequencies [10]. In the present paper, we study the influence of a transverse magnetic field on the distribution of natural frequencies of shallow cylindrical and spherical shells, obtain asymptotic estimates for the density of natural frequencies of shell vibrations, and compare the obtained results with the empirical numerical results.  相似文献

This paper presents information on the usefulness of a particular aluminum-particle-filled epoxy for dynamic modeling. Damping characteristics in terms of the loss factor are presented for this epoxy and some structural metals. Though the damping of the epoxy was larger than that of any metal tested, it can still be considered small. Portal frames were modeled using the epoxy. Natural frequencies of vibration for the metal frames and epoxy models were determined. The scaled-epoxy-model frequencies accurately predicted the metal prototype frequencies. A possible area of error is pointed out with respect to the modeling of the shear modulus.  相似文献

The Feed Support System (FSS) addressed here is the receiver carrier of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) in China. The FSS is a complex hybrid manipulator, which consists of a cable-driven Stewart manipulator, an A–B rotator and a rigid Stewart manipulator. The cable-driven Stewart manipulator, which is a long-span flexible cable structure, is sensitive to the wind disturbance and induces the FSS vibration. The rigid Stewart manipulator is designed to suppress the vibration and improve the terminal accuracy of the FSS. In the paper, the elastic dynamic model of the cable-driven Stewart manipulator is deduced by simplifying the flexible cable as the spring damping model, while the rigid-body dynamic model of the A–B rotator and the rigid Stewart manipulator is obtained in detail, using the Newton–Euler method. The internal coupling forces of the FSS are figured out. The wind disturbance model is established according to the Davenport spectrum. By adopting the kinematic and dynamic parameters of the FAST prototype, the simulation model of the FSS is completed. Kinematic and dynamic vibration control strategies are evaluated with simulations. Results show that the dynamic vibration suppression strategy well satisfies the FSS terminal accuracy requirement, keeps the rigid Stewart manipulator working with reasonable driving forces, and should be adopted in the control system of the FAST prototype.  相似文献

This paper presents the analysis of dynamic characteristics of horizontal axis wind turbine blade, where the mode coupling among axial extension, flap vibration(out-of-plane bending), lead/lag vibration(in-plane bending) and torsion is emphasized. By using the Bernoulli-Euler beam to describe the slender blade which is mounted on rigid hub and subjected to unsteady aerodynamic force, the governing equation and characteristic equation of the coupled vibration of the blade are obtained. Due to the combined influences of mode coupling, centrifugal effect, and the non-uniform distribution of mass and stiffness, the explicit solution of characteristic equation is impossible to obtain. An equivalent transformation based on Green's functions is taken for the characteristic equation, and then a system of integrodifferential equations is derived. The numerical difference methods are adopted to solve the integrodifferential equations to get natural frequencies and mode shapes. The influences of mode coupling, centrifugal effect, and rotational speed on natural frequencies and mode shapes are analyzed. Results show that:(1) the influence of bending-torsion coupling on natural frequency is tiny;(2) rotation has dramatic influence on bending frequency but little influence on torsion frequency;(3) the influence of bending-bending coupling on dynamic characteristics is notable at high rotational speed;(4) the effect of rotational speed on bending mode is tiny.  相似文献

本文针对斜拉桥的受力特点,基于索和浅拱的经典动力学运动方程,结合拉索与浅拱之间的耦合边界条件,并且考虑两者的几何非线性,建立了斜拉桥的多索-浅拱面内自由振动模型。将浅拱分段处理,结合索、浅拱连接处的动态平衡条件,应用分离变量法,建立多索-浅拱模型的面内自由振动理论。以双索浅拱模型为例,求解其特征值问题。同时,建立了相应的有限元模型,有限元计算结果与本文理论分析吻合良好。最后针对CFRP索斜拉桥的关键参数,基于本文的索-浅拱理论,对面内自由振动进一步研究。研究表明:浅拱的矢高在一定范围内变化,仅对某一阶频率产生影响,而其他各阶频率几乎没影响;CFRP拉索能显著改善索-浅拱组合结构的基本动力学特性。  相似文献

现代柔性航天器通常安装有大型太阳翼为其在轨运行提供所需动力. 航天器入轨后太阳翼展开并锁定成为铰链连接多板结构, 此类结构质量轻、跨度大、刚度低的特点使其低频振动和非线性振动问题越来越凸显. 分析和处理此类结构出现的复杂振动问题的关键在于建立系统精确的非线性动力学模型. 为此, 本文提出铰链连接多板结构解析全局模态的提取方法, 获取太阳翼的固有频率和解析函数表征的全局模态. 提出可变刚度的扭转弹簧等效模型, 考虑铰链非线性刚度及摩擦力矩等因素, 通过全局模态离散得到系统的低维高精度非线性动力学模型, 研究了太阳翼在周期激励作用下的非线性特性. 开展太阳翼地面振动实验研究, 采用锤击法获取系统模态, 利用振动台施加正弦扫频激励, 将物理实验结果与理论结果进行对比, 从而验证全局模态动力学建模方法的合理性与准确性. 结果表明, 铰链刚度等结构参数对系统固有特性的影响较大, 铰链的存在会使太阳翼的动态响应出现跳跃等非线性现象. 全局模态动力学建模方法能很好地解决多板结构在非经典边界下解析全局模态求解的困难, 系统全局模态反映的是系统各个部件弹性振动的真实模态, 所建立的动力学模型具有低维高精度的特点, 对于复杂组合结构非线性动力学建模具有重要的参考价值.   相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the dynamic behavior of clamped-clamped micromachined arches when actuated by a small DC electrostatic load superimposed to an AC harmonic load. A Galerkin-based reduced-order model is derived and utilized to simulate the static behavior and the eigenvalue problem under the DC load actuation. The natural frequencies and mode shapes of the arch are calculated for various values of DC voltages and initial rises. In addition, the dynamic behavior of the arch under the actuation of a DC load superimposed to an AC harmonic load is investigated. A perturbation method, the method of multiple scales, is used to obtain analytically the forced vibration response of the arch due to DC and small AC loads. Results of the perturbation method are compared with those obtained by numerically integrating the reduced-order model equations. The non-linear resonance frequency and the effective non-linearity of the arch are calculated as a function of the initial rise and the DC and AC loads. The results show locally softening-type behavior for the resonance frequency for all DC and AC loads as well as the initial rise of the arch.  相似文献

桥梁环境振动试验具有简单方便和花费少等优点.本文以吉林市临江门大桥为工程背景,通过动力试验,研究了该桥在天然脉动荷载作用下的固有特性.采用结构分析软件ANSYS建立全桥的空间模型,计算该桥的固有特性.有限元计算结果与动力试验结果比较吻合.结果表明,环境振动响应足以识别出该桥所感兴趣的模态,可作为该桥的有限元模型修正、损伤检测、使用状态评估和健康监测的基础.  相似文献

Modal identification of engineering structure in operation deals with the estimation of modal parameters from vibration data obtained in working conditions rather than laboratory conditions. After one structure destruction during a flight test, it was strongly required to carry out full-scale model testing to acquire the low-frequency vibration acceleration data of the investigated rocket (its structural dynamic properties could be represented by a beam). These vibration data were used to assess the modal properties of the modified structure. In this paper, a new modal identification method based on vibration displacement is suggested. The displacements of the measured points on the rocket are obtained by the integration of the low-frequency vibration accelerations during free flight test. In the method, the data are filtered through wavelet transform. For comparison, several methods are used to extract the modal frequencies of the investigated beam. In terms of the results of standard deviation of identified frequencies, it is believed that the generalized displacement-based modal identification method is more practicable in modal identification for similar problems.  相似文献
