This paper presents a method for estimating the upper and lower bounds of eigenvalues of structures with uncertainties. The uncertain parameters are described by the convex model. For structural parameters with uncertainties, interval mathematics can, in the case where the probabilistic distribution density of uncertain variables is unavailable, deal with the influence of uncertainties in structural parameters on the response of structures. In order to evaluate the region containing natural frequencies of structures with interval parameters, the interval parameter perturbation method is presented in this paper. The advantage of the present method is its computational efficiency in evaluating the region containing natural frequencies. A numerical example is used to illustrate the efficiency of the method proposed. Two non-probabilistic, set-theoretical methods for determining the maximum and minimum impulsive responses of structures to uncertain-but-bounded impulses are presented. They are, respectively, based on the theories of interval mathematics and convex models. The uncertain-but-bounded impulses are assumed to be a convex set, hyper-rectangle or ellipsoid. For the two non-probabilistic methods, less prior information is required about the uncertain nature of impulses than the probabilistic model. Comparisons between the interval analysis method and the convex model, which are developed as an anti-optimization problem of finding the least favorable impulsive response and the most favorable impulsive response, are made through mathematical analyses and numerical calculations. The results of this study indicate that under the condition of the interval vector being determined from an ellipsoid containing the uncertain impulses, the width of the impulsive responses predicted by the interval analysis method is larger than that by the convex model; under the condition of the ellipsoid being determined from an interval vector containing the uncertain impulses, the width of the interval impulsive responses obtained by the interval analysis method is smaller than that by the convex model.The project supported by the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation of China (10425208), the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Institute of Engineering Physics of China (10376002) The English text was polished by Keren Wang.  相似文献

In this paper the generalized cell mapping (GCM) method is used to study multiple-attractor coexisting system with parameter uncertainties. The effects that the uncertain parameters has on the global properties of the system are presented. And It is obtained that the attractor with much smaller value of protect thickness, will disappear firstly with the degree of the uncertainty of parameter increasing. Adaptive robust fuzzy control for a class of uncertain chaotic systems   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, the output feedback control of uncertain chaotic systems is addressed via an adaptive robust fuzzy approach. Fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate uncertain nonlinear functions in the chaotic systems. Because only partial information of the system’s states is needed to be known, an observer is given to estimate the unmeasured states. Compared with the existing results in the observer design, the prior knowledge on dynamic uncertainties is relaxed and a class of more general chaotic systems is considered as well as robustness to the approximation error is improved. It can be proven that the closed-loop system is stable in the sense that all the variables are bounded. Simulation example for the unified chaotic systems is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The control of a free-floating space manipulator system is discussed. With the augmentation approach, the nonlinear parameterization problem of the dynamic equations of the space manipulator system is overcome. Based on the results, the robust control scheme for free-floating space manipulator with uncertain payload parameters to track the desired trajectory in jointspace is proposed, and the global convergence of the tracking is verified by using the Lyapunov method. The proposed control scheme is computationally simple, because we choose to make the controller robust to the uncertain inertial parameters rather than explicitly estimate them online. In particular, it needn't control the position and attitude of the floating base. A two-link planar space manipulator system is simulated to verify the control scheme proposed. The distribution of stress and strain fields in a micro-structural area of a particle reinforced composite is studied by a combination of experimental and numerical method (hybrid method). With the experimental values of displacements in a micro-region as the boundary loading condition, strain and stress fields inside the micro-region are calculated by the finite element method under two different kinds of modeling, namely, as plane stress and plane strain condition. The differences between the two kinds of modeling conditions as applied to micro-structural areas are discussed. This paper deals with the global exponential stability analysis problem for a general class of uncertain stochastic neural networks with mixed time delays and Markovian switching. The mixed time delays under consideration comprise both the discrete time-varying delays and the distributed time-delays. The main purpose of this paper is to establish easily verifiable conditions under which the delayed stochastic neural network is robustly exponentially stable in the mean square in the presence of parameters uncertainties, mixed time delays, and Markovian switching. By employing new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and conducting stochastic analysis, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to derive the criteria for the robust exponential stability, which can be readily checked by using some standard numerical packages such as the Matlab LMI Toolbox. The criteria derived are dependent on both the discrete time delay and distributed time delay, and, are therefore, less conservative. A simple example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed testing criteria. A new family of set-valued mappings from a topological space into generalized convex spaces was introduced and studied. By using the continuous partition of unity theorem and Brouwer fixed point theorem, several existence theorems of maximal elements for the family of set-valued mappings were proved under noncompact setting of product generalized convex spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize many important results in recent literature. An alternative strain energy method is proposed for the prediction of effective elastic properties of orthotropic materials in this paper. The method is implemented in the topology optimization procedure to design cellular solids. A comparative study is made between the strain energy method and the well-known homogenization method. Numerical results show that both methods agree well in the numerical prediction and sensitivity analysis of effective elastic tensor when homogeneous boundary conditions are properly specified. Two dimensional and three dimensional microstructures are optimized for maximum stiffness designs by combining the proposed method with the dual optimization algorithm of convex programming. Satisfactory results are obtained for a variety of design cases. Partial linearization method is proposed for controlling Lü-system. Through partially cancelling the nonlinear cross-coupling terms the stabilization of the resulting system was realized. A new class of constrained multiobjective games with infinite players in noncompact locally convex H-spaces without linear structure are introduced and studied. By applying a Fan-Glicksberg type fixed point theorem for upper semicontinuous set-valued mappings with closed acyclic values and a maximum theorem, several existence theorems of weighted Nath-equilibria and Pareto equilibria for the constrained multiobjective games are proved in noncompact locally convex H-spaces. This paper presents a new simple method of implicit time integration with two control parameters for solving initial-value problems of dynamics such that its accuracy is at least of order two along with the conditional and unconditional stability regions of the parameters. When the control parameters in the method are optimally taken in their regions, the accuracy may be improved to reach of order three. It is found that the new scheme can achieve lower numerical amplitude dissipation and period dispersion than some of the existing methods, e.g. the Newmark method and Zhai’s approach, when the same time step size is used. The region of time step dependent on the parameters in the new scheme is explicitly obtained. Finally, some examples of dynamic problems are given to show the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed scheme applied in dynamic systems. Laurent has discussed inf-dif-stability conditions respectively for horizontal perturbation and for vertical perturbation. This paper presents an improved precise integration algorithm for transient analysis of heat transfer and some other problems. The original precise integration method is improved by means of the inverse accuracy analysis so that the parameterN, which has been taken as a constant and an independent parameter without consideration of the problems in the original method, can be generated automatically by the algorithm itself. Thus, the improved algorithm is adaptive and the accuracy of the algorithm is not dependent on the length of the time step in the integration process. It is shown that the numerical results obtained by the method proposed are more accurate than those obtained by the conventional time integration methods such as the difference method and others. Four examples are given to demonstrate the validity, accuracy and efficiency of the new method.
