This paper studies Morse decompositions of discrete and continuous-time semiflows on compact Hausdorff topological spaces. We extend two classical results which are well-known facts for flows on compact metric spaces: the characterization of the Morse decompositions through increasing sequences of attractors and the existence of Lyapunov functions.  相似文献

A new class of constrained multiobjective games with infinite players in noncompact locally convex H-spaces without linear structure are introduced and studied. By applying a Fan-Glicksberg type fixed point theorem for upper semicontinuous set-valued mappings with closed acyclic values and a maximum theorem, several existence theorems of weighted Nath-equilibria and Pareto equilibria for the constrained multiobjective games are proved in noncompact locally convex H-spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize the corresponding results of the multiobjective games in recent literatures. We consider a spherically symmetric static problem of general relativity whose solution was obtained in 1916 by Schwarzschild for a metric form of a special type. This solution determines the metric coefficients of the exterior and interior Riemannian spaces generated by a gravitating solid ball of constant density and includes the so-called gravitational radius r g. For a ball of outer radius R=r g, the metric coefficients are singular, and hence the radius r g is traditionally assumed to be the radius of the event horizon of an object called a black hole. The solution of the interior problem obtained for an incompressible ideal fluid shows that the pressure at the ball center increases without bound for R=9/8r g, which is traditionally used for the physical justification of the existence of black holes. The discussion of Schwarzschild’s traditional solution carried out in this paper shows that it should be generalized with respect to both the geometry of the Riemannian space and the elastic medium model. In this connection, we consider the general metric form of a spherically symmetric Riemannian space and prove that the solution of the corresponding static problem exists for a broad class of metric forms. A special metric form based on the assumption that the gravitation generating the Riemannian space inside a fluid ball or an elastic ball does not change the ball mass is singled out from this class. The solution obtained for the special metric form is singular with respect to neither the metric coefficients nor the pressure in the fluid ball and the stresses in the elastic ball. The obtained solution is compared with Schwarzschild’s traditional solution.  相似文献

We present some Nekhoroshev stability results for nearly integrable, generalized Hamiltonian systems, which can be odd dimensional and admit a distinct number of action and angle variables. Using a simultaneous approximation technique due to Lochak, Nekhoroshev stabilities are shown for various cases of quasi-convex generalized Hamiltonian systems along with concrete estimates on stability exponents. This paper is devoted to the study of the basic theory and applications of probabilistic metric spaces (PM-space). In this paper the topological structure and properties for PM-space are considered. The conditions of metrization and the form of metric functions for PM-spaces. Menger PM-spaces and probabilistic normed linear spaces (PN-space) are given and the characterizations of various probabilistically bounded sets are presented. As applications we utilize these results obtained in this paper to study the linear operator theory and fixed point theory on PM-spaces. The present paper is concerned with the numerical modelling of the large elastic–plastic deformation behavior and localization prediction of ductile metals which are sensitive to hydrostatic stress and anisotropically damaged. The model is based on a generalized macroscopic theory within the framework of nonlinear continuum damage mechanics. The formulation relies on a multiplicative decomposition of the metric transformation tensor into elastic and damaged-plastic parts. Furthermore, undamaged configurations are introduced which are related to the damaged configurations via associated metric transformations which allow for the interpretation as damage tensors. Strain rates are shown to be additively decomposed into elastic, plastic and damage strain rate tensors. Moreover, based on the standard dissipative material approach the constitutive framework is completed by different stress tensors, a yield criterion and a separate damage condition as well as corresponding potential functions. The evolution laws for plastic and damage strain rates are discussed in some detail. Estimates of the stress and strain histories are obtained via an explicit integration procedure which employs an inelastic (damage-plastic) predictor followed by an elastic corrector step. Numerical simulations of the elastic–plastic deformation behavior of damaged solids demonstrate the efficiency of the formulation. A variety of large strain elastic–plastic-damage problems including severe localization is presented, and the influence of different model parameters on the deformation and localization prediction of ductile metals is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, a central essentially non‐oscillatory approximation based on a quadratic polynomial reconstruction is considered for solving the unsteady 2D Euler equations. The scheme is third‐order accurate on irregular unstructured meshes. The paper concentrates on a method for a metric‐based goal‐oriented mesh adaptation. For this purpose, an a priori error analysis for this central essentially non‐oscillatory scheme is proposed. It allows us to get an estimate depending on the polynomial reconstruction error. As a third‐order error is not naturally expressed in terms of a metric, we propose a least‐square method to approach a third‐order error by a quadratic term. Then an optimization problem for the best mesh metric is obtained and analytically solved. The resulting mesh optimality system is discretized and solved using a global unsteady fixed‐point algorithm. The method is applied to an acoustic propagation benchmark.  相似文献

研究了考虑不确定性因素的有限元屈曲模型验证和确认方法,提出了不确定参数选择的相关性和敏度分析方法以及基于面积度量的模型评估方法.针对化铣整体壁板,开展了有限元屈曲模型验证研究,首先利用8件试验件,获得了壁板屈曲载荷的试验值,然后依据试验加载情况,建立了考虑试验台的壁板有限元模型,最后利用面积度量方法对有限元模型进行了验证和确认.本文的模型验证和确认方法可为其他工程结构开展类似的工作提供借鉴.  相似文献
