A Green's function approach is used to formulate and obtain the stress field, under torsional loads in a radially finite solid cylinder with radially variable elastic modulus. With this approach a certain dual static-geometric analogy in the solution is readily proved and applied to generate the solution with stress boundary conditions from that with displacement boundary conditions and vice-versa.The problem is solved using both boundary conditions and for an exponentially varying shear modulus. In particular, under displacement boundary conditions, the stress field in the solid with a generalised Reissner-Sagoci boundary condition is easily deduced. With stress boundary conditions, the criteria for crack propagation in such elastic models are also obtained using the Griffith-Irwin condition of rupture.  相似文献

研究了具有CdS型相变本构材料的宏观相边界传播规律。相边界包括纯新相和混合相两段。纯新相段可用逐步近似法,混合相段则必须用数值方法求解。给出了三种加卸载应力边界条件下的算例。在突加突卸的应力边界条件下,给出了相边界传播的解析解。在算例中,各种解法得到的结果彼此很好符合。  相似文献

The effect of boundary condition nonlinearities on free nonlinear vibrations of thin rectangular plates is analyzed. The method for analysis of the plate vibrations with geometrical nonlinearity and the boundary condition nonlinearity is suggested. The nonlinear boundary conditions for membrane forces are transformed into linear ones using the in-plane stress function. Additional boundary conditions for the in-plane displacements vanishing on the clamped edge of the plate are imposed on the stress function. Simply supported and cantilever plates are analyzed. The backbone curves obtained by satisfying linear and nonlinear boundary conditions are compared. It is shown that the results of the calculations with nonlinear boundary conditions differ essentially from the data obtained without these boundary conditions.  相似文献

基于雷诺应力湍流模型(简称RSM模型),研究了平衡大气边界层风场数值模拟问题.假设流体不可压,且不计雷诺应力输运方程中的对流项、浮力产生项、系统旋转产生项和扩散项,在准各向同性的条件下,推导出RSM模型湍动能k的表达式是标准k-ε模型k常数表达式的0.893倍.考虑k沿高度变化的修正,根据在标准k-ε模型中满足水平均匀性的湍流来流边界条件,提出在RSM模型中产生平衡大气边界层的湍流来流边界条件.基于空风洞的数值模拟结果表明,与工程上常用的湍流来流边界条件相比,基于本文提出的湍流来流边界条件得到的风场水平均匀性更优,且在整个流域内,得到的雷诺应力剖面更合适.从而验证了该湍流来流边界条件的适用性.  相似文献

In this paper analytical solutions for the steady fully developed laminar fluid flow in the parallel-plate and cylindrical channels partially filled with a porous medium and partially with a clear fluid are presented. The Brinkman-extended Darcy equation is utilized to model the flow in a porous region. The solutions account for the boundary effects and for the stress jump boundary condition at the interface recently suggested by Ochoa-Tapia and Whitaker. The dependence of the velocity on the Darcy number and on the adjustable coefficient in the stress jump boundary condition is investigated. It is shown that accounting for a jump in the shear stress at the interface essentially influences velocity profiles.  相似文献

An improved near‐wall modeling for large‐eddy simulation using the immersed boundary method is proposed. It is shown in this study that the existing near‐wall modeling for the immersed boundary (IB) methods that imposes the velocity boundary condition at the IB node is not sufficient to enforce a correct wall shear stress at the IB node. A new method that imposes a shear stress condition through the modification of the subgrid scale‐eddy viscosity at the IB node is proposed. In this method, the subgrid eddy viscosity at the IB node is modified such that the viscous flux at the face adjacent to the IB node correctly approximates the total shear stress. The method is applied to simulate the fully developed turbulent flows in a plane channel and a circular pipe. It is demonstrated that the new method improves the prediction of the mean velocity and turbulence stresses in comparison with the existing wall modeling based solely on the velocity boundary condition. 采用平面波和远场散射波混合透射,引入无限介质线弹性本构关系建立了一种应力人工 边界条件. 其优点在于边界结点反应与内部有限元结点反应采用相同的积分格式计算,有限 元积分方法稳定时不存在人工边界失稳问题. 数值算例表明:边界精度高于现有黏性边 界、黏弹性人工边界,以及一、二阶透射人工边界.  相似文献

For a rigid/plastic, hardening material model, it is shown that the velocity fields adjacent to surfaces of maximum friction must satisfy the sticking condition. This means that the stress boundary condition, the maximum friction law, may be replaced by the velocity boundary condition. An experimental-numerical hybrid method for the stress separation in photoelasticity is proposed in this study. In the proposed method, boundary conditions for a local finite element model, that is, tractions along boundaries are inversely determined from photoelastic fringes. Two algorithms are proposed for determining the boundary condition. One is a linear algorithm in which the tractions are obtained by the method of linear least-squares from both principal stress difference and principal direction. Another is the nonlinear algorithm in which the tractions are determined only from the principal stress difference. After determining the boundary conditions for the local finite element model, the stresses can be obtained by finite element direct analysis. The effectiveness is demonstrated by applying the proposed method to a perforated plate under tension and contact problems. Results show that the boundary conditions of the local finite element model can be determined from the photoelastic fringes and then the individual stresses can be obtained by the proposed method. Furthermore, the stresses can be evaluated even if the boundary condition is complicated such as at the contact surface. It is expected that the proposed method can be powerful tool for stress analysis.  相似文献

The antiplane stress analysis of two anisotropic finite wedges with arbitrary radii and apex angles that are bonded together along a common edge is investigated. The wedge radial boundaries can be subjected to displacement-displacement boundary condi- tions, and the circular boundary of the wedge is free from any traction. The new finite complex transforms are employed to solve the problem. These finite complex transforms have complex analogies to both kinds of standard finite Mellin transforms. The traction free condition on the crack faces is expressed as a singular integral equation by using the exact analytical method. The explicit terms for the strength of singularity are extracted, showing the dependence of the order of the stress singularity on the wedge angle, material constants, and boundary conditions. A numerical method is used for solving the resul- tant singular integral equations. The displacement boundary condition may be a general term of the Taylor series expansion for the displacement prescribed on the radial edge of the wedge. Thus, the analysis of every kind of displacement boundary conditions can be obtained by the achieved results from the foregoing general displacement boundary condition. The obtained stress intensity factors (SIFs) at the crack tips are plotted and compared with those obtained by the finite element analysis (FEA).  相似文献

采用离散元方法,构建了考虑PBX炸药晶体颗粒与黏结剂非均匀性的计算模型,通过在炸药试样两端采用相向飞片加载、将原SHPB实验的应力边界替代为速度边界的方法,开展了PBX炸药的动态压缩数值模拟研究,再现了考虑PBX炸药非均质特性的SHPB实验过程,获得了不同加-卸载路径下炸药应力应变曲线以及相应的损伤破坏图像。模拟结果表明:在动态压缩过程中,虽然PBX炸药处于整体应力平衡,由于PBX高度非均质性,内部应力分布并不均匀,晶体间应力以应力桥形式传递;应力曲线为试样整体平均,试样内局部所受真实应力可能高于曲线峰值应力;出现卸载回滞曲线的试样发生局部损伤破坏,而完全软化曲线的试样发生整体失稳破坏。  相似文献

Two-dimensional magnetic field and stress analyses have been presented for soft ferromagnetic, paramagnetic, and diamagnetic materials of an infinite thin plate with an elliptical hole under steady electric current. The magnetic stress has been analyzed in the Maxwell Stress Model. Except for the approximation of the plane stress state since the plate is the thin plate, any assumption is not made for the stress analysis, though the Maxwell stress components are expressed by nonlinear terms. The boundary condition expressed by Maxwell’s stress is completely satisfied without any linear assumptions on the boundary. Two ways for the boundary condition are stated. The analysis of σ z in the direction of the plate thickness is also carried out. Figures of the magnetic field and stress distribution are shown. Stress intensity factors are also derived, and the magnitude of the stress intensity factor for the magnetic stress and thermal stress due to the Joule heat caused by the electric current is discussed.  相似文献

The different physical states of saturated sand, including shear elasticity, positive dilatancy, and negative dilatancy (preliminary negative dilatancy, secondary negative dilatancy and reversal negative dilatancy) are revealed based on the pore water pressure response of saturated sand in undrained dynamic torsional tests of thin cylinder samples and also checked by the drained cyclic triaxial tests under a given mean effective normal stress. According to the effective stress path of different physical states under the undrained cyclic torsional tests the physical state transformation surface, stress history boundary and yield surface are determined, and the state boundary surface is also determined by the range of effective frictional stress state movement. Based on the moving yield surface without rotation, and the expanding stress history boundary surface relevant to the stress path variations under different physical states in 3D stress space, a physical state model is proposed to provide a new app  相似文献

This paper describes a technique for computing lower bound limit bearing capacity of rectangular surface footings. A perfectly rigid plastic model is adopted to describe the property of soil materials. The bearing capacity of footing is regarded as the objective function in this method, subject to the stress boundary condition, stress discontinuity equilibrium condition, stress equilibrium condition and yield condition. By solving a non-linear optimization problem, i.e., searching the maximum value of objective function, the bearing capacity of smooth surface rectangular footing and the corresponding 3D stress field are obtained.  相似文献

边界元方法作为一种数值方法, 在各种科学工程问题中得到了广泛的应用.本文参考了边界元法的求解思路, 从Somigliana等式出发, 利用格林函数性质,得到了一种边界积分法, 使之可以用来寻求弹性问题的解析解.此边界积分法也可以从Betti互易定理得到. 应用此新方法, 求解了圆形夹杂问题.首先设定夹杂与基体之间完美连接, 将界面处的位移与应力按照傅里叶级数展开,根据问题的对称性与三角函数的正交性来简化假设, 减少待定系数的个数.其次选择合适的试函数(试函数满足位移单值条件以及无体力的线弹性力学问题的控制方程),应用边界积分法, 求得界面处的位移与应力的值. 然后再求解域内位移与应力.得到了问题的精确解析解, 当夹杂弹性模量为零或趋向于无穷大时,退化为圆孔或刚性夹杂问题的解析解. 求解过程表明,若问题的求解区域包含无穷远处时, 所取的试函数应满足无穷远处的边界条件.若求解区域包含坐标原点, 试函数在原点处位移与应力应是有限的.结果表明了此方法的有效性.   相似文献

A method for the stress separation of interferometrically measured isopachics using an Airy stress function is proposed in this study. A Poisson equation that represents the relationship between the sum of principal stresses and an Airy stress function is solved using a finite element method. The Dirichlet boundary condition for solving the Poisson equation is determined by the approximation of an assumed Airy stress function along the boundary of the model. Therefore, the distribution of the Airy stress function is obtained from the measured isopachic contours. Then, the stresses are obtained from the computed Airy stress function. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by applying the proposed method to the isopachic contours in a perforated plate obtained by Mach-Zehnder interferometry. Results indicate that stress components around a hole in a plate can be obtained from isopachics by the proposed method.  相似文献

We study the Navier–Stokes equations for incompressible fluids in a three-dimensional thin two-layer domain whose top, bottom and interface boundaries are not flat. In addition to the Navier friction boundary conditions on the top and bottom boundaries of the domain, and the periodicity condition on the sides, the fluid velocities are subject to an interface boundary condition which relates the normal stress of each fluid to the relative velocity between them on the common boundary. We prove that the strong solutions exist for all time if the initial data and body force, measured in relevant norms, are appropriately large as the domain becomes very thin. In our analysis, the interface boundary condition is interpreted as a variation of the Navier boundary conditions containing an interaction part. The effect of that interaction on the Stokes operator and the nonlinear term of the Navier–Stokes equations is expressed and carefully estimated in different ways in order to obtain suitable inequalities.  相似文献
