Based on three methods of particle identification (PID) of BES,we study the identification of p and p in momentum range from 0.3 to 1.2 GeV using real particle samples of e,μ,π,K,p and p which were collected in 2-5GeV R scan,J/(ψ) and ψ′ data taking periods. The paper presents the optimized method of PID:p(p) is identified by dE/dx only if momentum below 0.6GeV,and by TOF or the combination of dE/dx and TOF for higher momentum.The PID efficiency of p, p and contamination from the other charged particles are also given.  相似文献

The reaction γppπ0η has been studied with the CBELSA detector at the tagged photon beam of the Bonn electron stretcher facility. The reaction shows contributions from Δ+(1232)η , N(1535)+π0 and pa 0(980) as intermediate states. A partial-wave analysis suggests that the reaction proceeds via formation of six Δ -resonances, Δ(1600)P 33 , Δ(1920)P 33 , Δ(1700)D 33 , Δ(1940)D 33 , Δ(1905)F 35 , Δ(2360)D 33 , and two nucleon resonances N(1880)P 11 and N(2200)P 13 , for which pole positions and decay branching ratios are given.  相似文献

Understanding of the production processes of the η meson will strongly rely on the precise determination of spin observables. So far these observables have been determined only for few excess energies and with low statistics (Winter et al. Eur. Phys. J. A18, 355 2003; Czyzykiewicz et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 98, 122003 2007; Balestra et al. Phys. Rev. C69, 064003 2004). In the year 2010 WASA detector was used for the measurement of the \(\overrightarrow {p}p\rightarrow pp\eta \) reaction with the polarized proton beam of COSY (Moskal and Hodana J. Phys. Conf. Ser 295, 012080 2011). The measurement was done for the excess energy of Q = 15 MeV and Q = 72 MeV. In total about 106 events corresponding to the \(\overrightarrow {p}p\rightarrow pp\eta \) reaction have been collected.  相似文献

The relativistic3 P 0 model is applied to the \(p\bar p\) annihilation into twoS-wave mesons. We calculate the branching ratios of the \(p\bar p\) annihilation at rest into two mesons in the quark rearrangement model and in the quark annihilation model. In the annihilation model, we project the intermediate \(cq\bar q\) state to eigenstates ofSU (4) with the relative angular momentum of \(cq\bar q\) equals orp. In the rearrangement model, no annihilation occurs from theS-wave \(p\bar p\) and certain branching ratios conflict with the experimental data. Detailed comparison with the experiment needs inclusion ofP-wave mesons in the final state, nevertheless we find that the annihilation model gives qualitatively better results than the rearrangement model. The effect of initial state interaction through \(N\bar \Delta \pm \Delta \bar {\rm N}\) or \(\Delta \bar \Delta \) channels is discussed.  相似文献

The cross-sections for the reactions of the strange production p + p ↦ p + Λ + K+ and p + p ↦ p + Σ0 + K+ near thresholds of the final states pΛK+ and pΣ0K+ are calculated in the effective Lagrangian approach. Our approach is based on the dominant contribution of the one-pion exchange and strong interaction of the colliding protons in the initial state. The theoretical values of the cross-sections agree reasonably well with the experimental data. The polarization properties of the Λ- and Σ0-hyperons are discussed.  相似文献

Based on the multiple-scattering self-consistent-field method, we have studied the photoabsorption spectra near the Si 2p thresholds of silane. According to our calculations, the clear assignments of the inner-shell photoabsorption spectra are provided. In comparison with the high-resolution experimental spectra, the geometric structure of the Si 2p-excited SiH_{4}^{**} is recommended to be of a C_{2v} symmetry. More specifically, the Si 2p-excited SiH_{4}^{**} have two bond lengths of 2.50 a.u. and another two bond lengths of 2.77 a.u., and the corresponding two bond angles are 104.0° and 112.5° respectively.  相似文献

We have studied the p+p0+X inclusive reaction data of Carey et al. in the framework of the scaling in the mean hypothesis first proposed by Dao et al. These data have been used to obtain the gamma ray spectrum in terms of the average value of the Feynman variablex, written as x.A comparison with the observed gamma ray spectrum at Mt. Chacaltaya by the Japanese and Brazilian Group gives the energy dependence of x at very high energy.  相似文献

Predictions based on axiomatic field theory are obtained from the assumption that the difference between thepp and thep \(\bar p\) elastic scattering observed at the CERN ISR is caused by an “odderon-like” term in the scattering amplitude. A wide class of amplitudes violating the Pomeranchuk relation is considered. Contrary to common opinion, severe restrictions on the high-energy behaviour of the phase of the crossing-odd amplitude are shown to follow for the whole class. Less pronounced but still visible consequences follow for the phases of thepp andp \(\bar p\) amplitudes separately. We derive the corresponding high-energy bounds and correlations using the general frame of analyticity, crossing symmetry and unitarity. As a special case, the maximal odderon amplitude is discussed.  相似文献

The spectrum of both classical and relativistic Boltzmann operator for hard interactions in a whole space is shown to be independent of p in L p for 1≤p<∞. It consists of a half-plane $\operatorname{Re} \lambda\leq -\nu_{0}$ and countably many branches in the strip $-\nu_{0}<\operatorname{Re} \lambda \leq0$ . Moreover the resolvent set is independent of p for all 1≤p≤∞ but in L this operator possesses in addition to the continuous also an uncountable set of point spectrum.  相似文献

The OZI suppressed reactions¯pp and¯pp are reanalyzed, evaluating the unitarity contributions from two meson intermediate states with full spin, partially correcting earlier results. An estimate for¯pp without spin is also given. Together with earlier VDM results for¯pp the conservative estimates reported here easily explain the observed rates for all the meson channels considered.It is a pleasure to thank the following colleagues for numerous discussions: C. We have measured the weak radiative decay branching ratio ( +pγ)/( +pπ0). The experiment was carried out at Brookhaven National Laboratory using a low-energy separatedK ? beam stopping in liquid hydrogen. The + was tagged by observing the pion fromK ? K + p +π? in a range telescope, and the gamma was detected in a segmented NaI detector. The result is (2.81±0.39 ?0.43 +0.21 )×10?3, which is consistent with previous measurements. This corresponds to a branching ratio for ( +pγ)/( + → all) of (1.45±0.20 ?0.22 +0.11 )×10?3, where the quoted errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. A total of 408 signal events were observed, doubling the previous world total.  相似文献

A manganite p-n heterojunction composed of Lao.67Sro.33MnO3 film and 0.05 wt% Nb-doped SrTiO3 substrate is fabricated. Rectifying behavior of the junction well described by the Shockley equation is observed, and the transport properties of the interface are experimentally studied. A satisfactorily logarithmic linear dependence of resistance on temperature is observed in a temperature range of 150 K-380 K, and the linear relation between bias and activation energies deduced from the R - lIT curves is observed. According to activation energy, the interfacial barrier of the heterojunction is obtained, which is 0.91 eV.  相似文献

In an experiment performed in the CERN SPS hyperon beam we have obtained a value for the branching ratio $${{\Sigma ^ + \to p\gamma } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\Sigma ^ + \to p\gamma } {\Sigma ^ + \to p\pi }}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\Sigma ^ + \to p\pi }}^0 of\left( {2.46_{ - 0.35}^{ + 0.30} } \right) \times 10^{ - 3} ,$$ corresponding to a branching ratio $${{\Sigma ^ + \to p\gamma } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\Sigma ^ + \to p\gamma } {\Sigma ^ + \to all}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\Sigma ^ + \to all}}of\left( {1.27_{ - 0.18}^{ + 0.16} } \right) \times 10^{ - 3} .$$ This result is discussed in the context of present understanding of hyperon radiative decays.  相似文献

Data on the reactionsv μ p→ μ? pπ+ and \( \bar v_\mu p \to \mu ^ + p\pi ^ - \) in the Δ(1232) region are presented and a test of the PCAC hypothesis, using a modified version of the Adler model, is performed. The analysis is based on 1081 events in the neutrino and on 180 events in the antineutrino reaction, obtained in a bubble chamber experiment with BEBC at CERN. The experimental cross-sections for an invariant hadronic massW<1.4 GeV and an (anti-)neutrino energyE v L >10 GeV are determined to be (0.628±0.059)·10?38 cm2 for the neutrino and (0.168±0.023)·10?38 cm2 for the antineutrino reaction. TheQ 2 andW distributions, the density matrix elements of the Δ resonance, and moments of the pion angular distribution are discussed. The data are found to be in good agreement with the Adler model in theQ 2 region below 1 GeV2. A maximum likelihood fit for the axial massm A in the axial-vector form factor yields a value ofm A =1.31±0.12 GeV. At lowQ 2 the data confirm the PCAC hypothesis and the discrepancy, formerly observed between the experimental and theoretical cross-sections forv μ p→ μ? pπ+ at low momentum transfers (Q 2?0.2 GeV2), is understood as being due to inadequate pion ‘off-mass-shell’ corrections.  相似文献

Recent high precision measurements on the lifetime of the metastable 6s[3/2]2 state of atomic xenon display a difference with previous predictions by a factor of 2–3. In the present work, a systematic relaxation and correlation approach, which has been developed on the basis of a widely used multi-configuration Dirac-Fock method, is applied to study the electric dipole allowed E1 and forbidden M1, E2 and M2 transitions between the 5p5 6s and 5p6 configurations. We systematically include the correlation effects which arise from all the single and double excitations from the occupied shells into the (n=6–10) active sets and the relaxation effects caused by change of the electron density between the radiative initial- and final-states. This study not only reduces greatly the existing discrepancy in the lifetime of the 6s[3/2]2 state, but also presents rather consistent results for both the lifetime of the metastable 6s'[1/2]0 state and the oscillator strength of the 5p5 6s - 5p6 E1 resonant transitions.  相似文献
