A self-consistent theory is developed for current drive by intense radiation in the presence of the ion-acoustic instability. The spectrum of ion-acoustic turbulent noise generated by the driven current and concentrated in a limited cone of angles along the propagation direction of the wave is found. Excitation of the instability is accompanied by the establishment of an electron drift that is excited by the electromagnetic wave and has a velocity on the order of the ion acoustic speed. This current drive regime is realized over a wide range of intensities, as long as the region of turbulence in the angles of the acoustic wave vector is expanding. At yet higher intensities, the driven current increases in proportion to the intensity of the fundamental wave. Similar behavior is found for driven heat fluxes. Zh. éksp. Teor. Tuning of gamma radiation by exciting the ultrasonic vibrations of different coherency degree in crystals is discussed. The quantum approach based on the formalism of coherent quantum states is used to take into account statistical properties of the stimulating ultrasonic wave. Multi-quantum transitions with emission of gamma quanta and simultaneous stimulated emission of recoil phonons or absorption of one or several phonons from an external ultrasonic wave are considered as an example of multi-quantum transitions with quanta coupled to different degrees of freedom of the radiating nuclei. The spectrum of gamma radiation is determined for a partially coherent stimulating ultrasonic wave with fixed amplitude and uncertain phase, and completely incoherent casual acoustic oscillations. It is shown that first-principles inclusion of nonuniform exchange interaction leads to the creation of a new type of generalized shear acoustic wave propagating near the mechanically free surface of a magnet. Criteria are formulated that can be used to specify conditions under which an “exchange” type of surface acoustic wave can exist at the boundary between a magnetic and a nonmagnetic medium once the spectrum of magnetoelastic oscillations of the unbounded magnetic crystal is known. The effect of structural relaxations, which are caused by a temperature change as well as induced by external ultrasonic loading, on the velocity of elastic waves and on the acoustic noise spectrum in the chalcogenide glass Ge0.18As0.28Se0.54 is investigated. The acoustically stimulated “softening” of the glass, observed for the first time, and acoustic emission signals, also observed for the first time, suggest that this method can be used to study structural changes in glass-like materials. 表面织构是一种通过有效的光俘获增加短路电流从而提高太阳电池效率的主要途径之一.在加入间隙式超声和NaClO添加剂的碱性四甲基氢氧化铵(TMAH)溶液中对单晶硅表面进行织构化处理,研究超声与NaClO在织构过程中对金字塔成核和生长的影响,以及金字塔大小对高温工艺之后的单晶硅少子寿命的影响.研究表明,通过在织构溶液中加入间隙式超声控制气泡停留在硅片表面的时间和脱离硅片表面速度,增强了小尺寸金字塔的均匀分布.织构之后硅片在AM1.5G光谱下的加权平均反射率能够达到12.4%,在高温扩散和氧化之后少子寿命的大小与金字塔大小之间存在近似于指数衰减函数的关系. 关键词: 表面织构化 反射率 少子寿命 单晶硅太阳电池  相似文献

A theory of parametric excitation of acoustic waves is constructed. It is shown that nonlinear attenuation is the main restriction mechanism for a parametrically generated sound wave. The intensity of generated waves is directly proportional to the difference ε between the value of pumping and bare attenuation. The calculated proportionality coefficient depends on the shape of the generated sound wave. Why an ordinary pattern does not form for acoustic waves is explained. The structure of the spectrum of excited waves was studied. It is shown that this structure has exponential asymptotic behavior at the frequency. The width of the intensity distribution depends on the shape of a wave. For different cases it behaves as ε α with α=1, 8/7, and 4/3. The results are compared with the experimental data of Ref. 5. 非线性系数是描述材料中微纳尺度损伤的特征参量,非线性系数常通过接触式压电超声进行检测,但耦合剂引起的非线性一般是未知的,针对这一问题,提出了一种非接触式电磁超声非线性纵波检测方法。该方法基于洛伦兹力机理在试件表面产生的振动弹性波,利用不同拉伸载荷下所制备的损伤试件,分别利用压电超声、电磁超声进行非线性超声系数测量。实验结果表明:利用两种非线性超声检测的相对非线性系数与铝合金的拉伸形变呈单调关系,同时也论证了电磁超声纵波基于非线性理论对塑性变形评估的可行性。   相似文献

Abstract

Three types of statistical fourth moments of acoustic waves forward scattered by a randomly rough ocean surface are derived and numerically evaluated. The first one is related to the scintillation index which characterizes intensity fluctuations. The second one is the two-position intensity correlation function which describes the spatial correlation of wave intensity. The third is the fourth-moment two-position coherence function which carries information on the phase fluctuations of the scattered wave. In the range of weak scattering, the ratio of the absolute value of the fourth-moment two-position coherence function over the two-position intensity correlation exactly describes the mean-square fluctuation of the relative phase between the two positions. The acoustic frequency is high so that the Kirchhoff approximation can be used. Two types of spectral functions for surface-height fluctuations are considered: a Gaussian spectrum and the Donelan-Pierson spectrum. The latter is obtained from a model for the fluctuations of the ocean surface height which are controlled by the wind speed at the ocean surface.  相似文献

将非线性声波方程和改进的Rayleigh-Plesset方程联立可以描述空化环境中的声场及相应的气泡动力学特征. 用时域有限差分方法模拟了圆柱形容器内两种气泡相互混合时的空化情况. 在烧杯内的稳态背景声场形成过程中, 瓶壁耗散吸收扮演了重要的角色. 在稳态背景声场的基础上, 分析了混合气泡与声场的相互作用、气泡之间的相互作用、混合情况下的频谱特性. 结果表明: 两种气泡平衡半径都不太大时, 气泡与声场的相互作用不强, 声场及气泡的行为也比较规律; 相反, 当其中一种气泡平衡半径相对比较大时, 声场与气泡具有较强的非线性相互作用, 声场及气泡的行为表现出复杂的特性.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper Presents numerical simulations, theoretical analysis, and millimeter wave experiments for scattering from one-dimensional very rough surfaces. First, numerical simulations are used to investigate the effects of roughness spectrum, height variation, interface medium, polarization, and incident angle on the backscattering enhancement. The enhanced backscattering due to rough surface scattering is divided into two cases; the RMS height close to a wavelength and RMS slope close to unity, and RMS height much smaller than a wavelength with surface wave contributions. Results also show that the enhancement is sensitive to the roughness spectrum. Next, a theory based on the first- and second-order Kirchhoff approximation modified with angular and propagation shadowing is developed. The theoretical solutions provide a physical explanation of backscattering enhancement and agree well with the numerical results. In addition to the scattering of a monochromatic wave, the analytical results of the broadening and lateral spreading of a pulsed beam wave scattering from rough surfaces are also discussed. Finally, the existence of backscattering enhancement from one-dimensional very rough conducting surfaces with exact Gaussian statistics and Gaussian roughness spectrum is verified by a millimeter-wave experiment. Experimental results which show enhanced backscattering for both TE and TM polarizations for different angles of incidence are presented.  相似文献

采用激光干涉方法对水下声辐射激励水表面声波的特征参数频率和振幅进行了测量研究。从理论上对水表面声波激光相干测量信号的频谱构成进行了分析,在此基础上提出了水表面声波两个重要声学参数频率和振幅的解算方法,并通过数值仿真进行了验证。搭建了一套简单的激光干涉测量实验系统,对不同频率和声压激励的水表面声波进行了测量实验,验证了水表面声波频率和振幅解调方法的准确性。对水表面声波横向传播的振幅衰减现象进行了初步的实验研究,结果表明水表面声波的频率越高,振幅的横向衰减越快。研究表明激光相干检测方法能够准确地实现水表面声波振幅和频率的测量。   相似文献

应用角谱方法理论研究了聚焦声束在层状生物组织中的非线性传播特性,将声波分解为角谱,可计算垂直于声轴的任意平面的非线性声场。在圆形平面活塞聚焦换能器的焦区中插入多种生物组织样品,数值计算了样品内部及外部的二次谐波声场,并通过实验测量验证了理论方法的有效性。基于快速傅氏变换的角谱方法可直观地描述非线性声传播,对非线性声成像有指导作用。  相似文献

The influence of transverse relaxation on a nonlinear acoustic wave generated in the presence of the acoustic self-induced transparency (SIT) phenomenon is investigated. An explicit analytical equation for the profile of the nonlinear acoustic wave is derived by a perturbation theory developed on the basis of the inverse scattering problem. This equation provides a possible means for investigating experimentally the profile of an acoustic SIT pulse with allowance for relaxation effects, so that these results can be used to construct new types of acoustoelectronic devices. 为防止流体沿井轴向窜槽,水泥与套管和地层的胶结必须是良好的。在固井质量检测中,超声反射法因具有较强的方位指向性而被广泛使用。但套管的高声阻抗导致了套管后的反射波信号比较微弱,使得水泥胶结质量的判别变得困难。为提高超声反射法的识别能力,我们以套管的共振频率为中心频率对反射全波进行滤波,降低套管的前表面反射波幅度,凸显套管后面携带水泥胶结信息的反射波。滤波后的波形呈现出数个波包,不同胶结情况下这些波包的幅度存在明显差异,通过这些差异可以判断水泥胶结质量。我们还利用有限声束模型计算了斜入射时的反射全波,探讨了入射角对超声反射波的影响。   相似文献

We propose an experimental approach to directly detect the acoustic radiation induced static component(SC)of primary longitudinal(L) wave propagation in solids using an ultrasonic pitch-catch technique,where a lowfrequency ultrasonic transducer is used to detect the SC generated by the co-propagating primary L-wave tone burst that is excited by a high-frequency ultrasonic transducer.Essentially,the experimental approach proposed uses a dynamic method to detect the SC generated.The basic requirement is that the central frequency of the low-frequency ultrasonic transducer needs to be near the center of the main lobe frequency range of the time-domain envelope of the primary L-wave tone burst.Under this condition,the main lobe of the frequency spectrum of the SC pulse generated adequately overlaps with that of the low-frequency ultrasonic transducer.This will enable the generated SC pulse to be directly detected by the low-frequency ultrasonic transducer.The performed experimental examination validates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach for direct detection of the acoustic radiation induced SC generated by L-wave propagation in solids.  相似文献

A modification of the parabolic approximation of the diffraction theory is based on the approximation of the wave surface with allowance for the shape of the angular spectrum of the ultrasonic beam. It is demonstrated that such an approach is more accurate in the analysis of the acoustic field at a relatively high diffraction divergence and/or high acoustic anisotropy. An acoustic field is simulated in paratellurite, which is a leading acoustic material with anomalously high acoustic anisotropy.  相似文献

Objective and motivationThe method for measuring derived acoustic power of an ultrasound point source in the form of a sonotrode tip has been considered in the free acoustic field, according to the IEC 61847 standard. The main objective of this work is measuring averaged pressure magnitude spatial distribution of an sonotrode tip in the free acoustic field conditions at different electrical excitation levels and calculation of the derived acoustic power at excitation frequency (f0  25 kHz). Finding the derived acoustic power of an ultrasonic surgical device in the strong cavitation regime of working, even in the considered laboratory conditions (anechoic pool), will enable better understanding of the biological effects on the tissue produced during operation with the considered device.Experimental methodThe pressure magnitude spatial distribution is measured using B&;K 8103 hydrophone connected with a B&;K 2626 conditioning amplifier, digital storage oscilloscope LeCroy Waverunner 474, where pressure waveforms in the field points are recorded. Using MATLAB with DSP processing toolbox, averaged power spectrum density of recorded pressure signals in different field positions is calculated. The measured pressure magnitude spatial distributions are fitted with the appropriate theoretical models.Theoretical approachesIn the linear operating mode, using the acoustic reciprocity principle, the sonotrode tip is theoretically described as radially oscillating sphere (ROS) and transversely oscillating sphere (TOS) in the vicinity of pressure release boundary. The measured pressure magnitude spatial distribution is fitted with theoretical curves, describing the pressure field of the considered theoretical models. The velocity and displacement magnitudes with derived acoustic power of equivalent theoretical sources are found, and the electroacoustic efficiency factor is calculated. When the transmitter is excited at higher electrical power levels, the displacement magnitude of sonotrode tip is increased, and nonlinear behaviour in loading medium appears, with strong cavitation activity produced hydrodynamically. The presence of harmonics, subharmonics and ultraharmonics as a consequence of stable cavitation is evident in the averaged power spectral density. The cavitation noise with continuous frequency components is present as a consequence of transient cavitation. The averaged pressure magnitude at the frequency components of interest (discrete and continous) in the field points is found by calculating average power spectral density of the recorded pressure waveform signal using the welch method. The frequency band of interest where average power spectral density is calculated is in the range from 15 Hz up to 120 kHz due to measurement system restrictions. The novelty in the approach is the application of the acoustic reciprocity principle on the nonlinear system (sonotrode tip and bubble cloud) to find neccessary acoustic power of the equivalent acoustic source to produce the measured pressure magnitude in the field points at the frequency components of interest.ResultsIn the nonlinear operating mode, the ROS model for the considered sonotrode tip is chosen due to the better agreement between measurement results and theoretical considerations. At higher excitation levels, it is shown that the averaged pressure magnitude spatial distribution of discrete frequency components, produced due to stable cavitation, can be fitted in the far field with the inverse distance law. The reduced electroacoustic efficiency factor, calculated at excitation frequency component as ratio of derived acoustic power with applied electrical power, is reduced from 40% in the linear to 3% in the strong nonlinear operating mode. The derived acoustic power at other frequency components (subharmonic, harmonic and ultraharmonic) is negligible in comparison with the derived acoustic power at excitation frequency.Discussion and conclusionsThe sonotrode tip and loading medium are shown in the strong cavitation regime as the coupled nonlinear dynamical system radiating acoustic power at frequency components appearing in the spectrum. The bubble cloud in the strong nonlinear operating mode decreases the derived acoustic power significantly at the excitation frequency.  相似文献
