The tunable optical constants of the stoichiometric (ZrO2)x-(Al2O3)1−x composite films with thin inserted TiO2 layers are simulated as π-phase shifters. The optimized composition range of the superlattices to be used as a high transmission attenuated phase shift mask (HT-APSM) blank is found. The absorption edge shifts to the longer wavelengths when the thickness fraction of the TiO2 layer increases. The optimized film for ArF-line HT-APSM blank applications must have the lower inspection transmittance for the better inspection and the lower reflectance at the exposure wavelength for a better aerial image as π-phase shifters, and they will be easier to fabricate than a superlattice. In order to find such a film, (ZrO2)x-(Al2O3)1−x composite films with various inserted TiO2 layers are simulated. The optimal deposition processes of such a film are also determined. For example, a (ZrO2)0.187-(Al2O3)0.813 composite film with two inserted TiO2 thin layers is fabricated. The optical properties are as follows: a transmittance of 19.8%, a reflectance of 9.1%, a calculated phase shift of ∼181.5° at the exposure wavelength of 193 nm, and a transmittance of 18.9% at the inspection wavelength of 257 nm. Such a film should be used as an optimized HT-APSM blank.  相似文献

New morphologies of net-like and flake-like TiO2 thin films with different concentrations of Fe dopant were successfully fabricated by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) process of Ti plates and a subsequent chemical treatment of the as-prepared MAO-TiO2 thin films. It was found that Fe ions can be easily introduced into the MAO-TiO2 samples with the increase concentration of K4(FeCN)6·3H2O precursor, and the amount of Fe determined the morphologies of TiO2 thin films after chemical treatment; net-like morphology was observed with low Fe dopant, while it transformed to a flake-like one when Fe exceeds 1.7 at.%. UV-vis spectroscopy test showed that the absorption edge of the Fe ions doped TiO2 thin films with new morphologies has an obvious red shift.  相似文献

In this work, TiO2-SiO2-In2O3 composite thin films on glass substrates were prepared by the sol-gel dip coating process. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to evaluate the structural and chemical properties of the films. UV-vis spectrophotometer was used to measure the transmittance spectra of thin films. The water contact angle (WCA) of thin films during UV/vis irradiation and storage in a dark place was measured by a contact angle analyzer. The results indicated that fabrication of composite film has a significant effect on transmittance and superhydrophilicity of TiO2 films.  相似文献

We report structural, magnetic and electronic structure study of Mn doped TiO2 thin films grown using pulsed laser deposition method. The films were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), dc magnetization, X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) and near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy measurements. XRD results indicate that films exhibit single phase nature with rutile structure and exclude the secondary phase related to Mn metal cluster or any oxide phase of Mn. Magnetization studies reveal that both the films (3% and 5% Mn doped TiO2) exhibit room temperature ferromagnetism and saturation magnetization increases with increase in concentration of Mn doping. The spectral features of XMCD at Mn L3,2 edge show that Mn2+ ions contribute to the ferromagnetism. NEXAFS spectra measured at O K edge show a strong hybridization between Mn, Ti 3d and O 2p orbitals. NEXAFS spectra measured at Mn and Ti L3,2 edge show that Mn exist in +2 valence state, whereas, Ti is in +4 state in Mn doped TiO2 films.  相似文献

Multiferroic thin films with the general formula TiO2/BiFe1−xMnxO3 (x=0.00, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15) (TiO2/BFMO) were synthesized on Au/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates using a chemical solution deposition (CSD) method assisted with magnetron sputtering. X-ray diffraction analysis shows the thin films contained perovskite structures with random orientations. Compared with BFMO films, the leakage current density of the TiO2/BFMO thin films was found to be lower by nearly two orders of magnitude, and the remnant polarizations were increased by nearly ten times. The enhanced ferroelectric properties may be attributed to the lower leakage current caused by the introduction of the TiO2 layer. The J-E characteristics indicated that the main conduction mechanism for the TiO2/BFMO thin film was trap-free Ohmic conduction over a wide range of electric fields (0-500 kV/cm). In addition, ferromagnetism was observed in the Mn doped BFO thin films at room temperature. The origin of ferromagnetism is related to the competition between distortion of structure and decrease of grain size and decreasing net magnetic moment in films due to Mn doping.  相似文献

Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 (BST) thin films were deposited on copper foils via sol-gel method with La2O3 as a buffer layer. The films were processed in almost inert atmosphere so that the substrate oxidation was avoided while allowing the perovskite film phase to crystallize. The existence of a La2O3 buffer layer between the BST thin film and Cu foil improved the dielectric constant and reduced the leakage current density of the BST thin film. Meanwhile, the BST thin film exhibited ferroelectric character at room temperature, which was contrast to the para-electric behavior of the film without the buffer layer. Effects of La2O3 buffer layer on the crystallizability and microstructure of BST thin films were also investigated.  相似文献

We report the optical and electronic properties of the inverse spinel ferrite NiFe2O4 and CoFe2O4 thin films deposited on single crystal sapphire by electron beam deposition. We carried out variable temperature (78–500 K) transmittance measurements on the thin films to investigate the optical properties and electronic structures of these ferrites. The absorption spectra of both NiFe2O4 and CoFe2O4 thin films show insulating characters with Ni (Co) d to d on-site transitions below 3 eV. The energy bands above 3 eV are mainly due to the O 2p to Fe 3d charge transfer transitions. The observed electronic transitions have been assigned based on the first principles calculations and comparisons with structurally similar Ni and Co-containing compounds. The Co2+ d to d transition in the CoFe2O4 thin film shows a strong temperature dependence, likely due to the spin-charge coupling effect.  相似文献

We report on spatially selective change of magnetism from paramagnetic to ferrimagnetic-like behaviors in normal spinel ZnFe2O4 thin film under irradiation with 780 nm femtosecond laser pulses. The distribution of Zn2+ and Fe3+ ions in the irradiated region on the film surface becomes disordered because of local heating to high temperatures, and the metastable phase of ZnFe2O4 is frozen in by the rapid quenching after irradiation, resulting in the formation of the ferrimagnetic phase. The ferrimagnetic phase reverts to the paramagnetic state by annealing at 800°C. The present technique is useful for two-dimensional patterning of magnetic thin films.  相似文献

TiO2 doped WO3 thin films were deposited onto glass substrates and fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) coated conducting glass substrates, maintained at 500 °C by pyrolytic decomposition of adequate precursor solution. Equimolar ammonium tungstate ((NH4)2WO4) and titanyl acetyl acetonate (TiAcAc) solutions were mixed together at pH 9 in volume proportions and used as a precursor solution for the deposition of TiO2 doped WO3 thin films. Doping concentrations were varied between 4 and 38%. The effect of TiO2 doping concentration on structural, electrical and optical properties of TiO2 doped WO3 thin films were studied. Values of room temperature electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power and band gap energy (Eg) were estimated. The films with 38% TiO2 doping in WO3 exhibited lowest resistivity, n-type electrical conductivity and improved electrochromic performance among all the samples. The values of thermoelectric power (TEP) were in the range of 23-56 μV/K and the direct band gap energy varied between 2.72 and 2.86 eV.  相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶技术在玻璃衬底上制备了ZnO薄膜和ZnO-SiO2复合膜.原子力显微镜照片显示ZnO薄膜具有球状纳米晶粒;可见光-紫外透射光谱表明ZnO-SiO2复合膜在可见光区的透过率大约是85%,透过率从330 nm开始下降,到290 nm附近降为零.由于量子效应,吸收边出现明显的蓝移.在室温下用不同波长的光激发ZnO-SiO2复合膜,光致发光谱显示ZnO-SiO2复合膜对应于激子发射的290 nm附近的紫外发光峰与透射谱所显示的吸收边位置一致,没有出现斯托克斯红移.同时,ZnO-SiO2复合膜出现了双光子和三光子吸收现象和上转换发光现象. 关键词: 2')" href="#">ZnO-SiO2 量子效应 双光子和三光子吸收 上转换发光  相似文献

运用溶胶-凝胶法在Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si基片上旋涂制备了2-2型CoFe2O4/Pb(Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3磁电复合薄膜.制备的磁电薄膜结构为基片/PZT/CFO/PZT*/CFO/PZT,通过改变中间层PZT*溶胶的浓度,改变磁性层间距以及静磁耦合的大小.SEM结果表明,复合薄膜结构致密,呈现出界面清晰平整的多层结构.制备的复合薄膜具有较好的铁电与铁磁性能.实验还研究了静磁耦合对薄膜磁电性能的影响,结果表明,随着复合薄膜磁性层间距的减小,静磁耦合效应的增加,磁电电压系数有逐渐增大的趋势.  相似文献

Thin films of TiO2 with high volume fraction (40–55%) and crystallite size (6–40 nm) of CdTe nanoparticles had been prepared by rf magnetron sputtering from a composite TiO2:CdTe target at room temperature and 373 K. A detailed optical properties of nanocrystalline CdTe:TiO2 films as-deposited and after thermal treatment (300 °C) are studied. The absorbance of the TiO2 films with CdTe nanocrystallite dispersions depends both on the nanocrystallite size and volume fraction. The blue-shifts of the optical absorption edge concurrent with the CdTe nanocystal size reduction for as-deposited and after thermal treatment of nanocrystalline CdTe:TiO2 thin films with respect to the bulk semiconductor agrees quite well with the strong quantum confinement theory. A slight deviation in absorption edge values than the predicted values from the strong quantum confinement model can be attributed to change in interplanar distance due to oxygen incorporation and inhomogeneous size distribution of CdTe nanocrystallites in these films.  相似文献

X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to characterize the structural and chemical properties of the films. A UV-vis spectrophotometer was used to measure the transmittance spectra of the thin film. The hydrophilicity of the thin film during irradiation and storage in a dark place was measured by a contact angle analyzer. TiO2/Fe2O3 core-shell nanocomposition film has been fabricated via two-step method. TiO2 nanorod arrays are synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, and followed by Fe2O3 nanoparticles deposited on TiO2 nanorod arrays through an ordinary chemical bath deposition. The phase structures, morphologies, particle size, chemical compositions of the composites have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectrophotometer. The results confirm that Fe2O3 nanoparticles of mean size ca. 10 nm coated on the surface of TiO2 NRs. After depositing Fe2O3, UV-vis absorption property is induces the shift to the visible-light range, the annealing temperature of 600 °C is the best condition for UV-vis absorption property of TiO2/Fe2O3 nanocomposite film, and increasing Fe content, optical activity are enhanced one by one. The photoelectrochemical (PEC) performances of the as-prepared composite nanorods are determined by measuring the photo-generated currents under illumination of UV-vis light. The TiO2 NRs modified by Fe2O3 show the photocurrent value of 1.36 mA/cm2 at 0 V vs Ag/AgCl, which is higher than those of unmodified TiO2 NRs.  相似文献

Previous studies suggest that granular interfaces induce a natural and persistent super-hydrophilicity in TiO2-SiO2 composite thin films deposited by sol-gel route. This effect enables to consider self-cleaning applications that do not require a permanent UV exposure, whereas such a permanent exposure is necessary for pure TiO2 films. In this study, TiO2-SiO2 composite thin films have been deposited from a TiO2 anatase crystalline suspension and different SiO2 polymeric sols. Wettability studies show that a suitable control of the TiO2-SiO2 mixed sol formulations noticeably enhances persistence of the natural super-hydrophilicity in composite films. It is shown that, beside granular interface effects, modifications in the composite film morphologies can noticeably influence wettability properties.  相似文献

Oxysulfide systems undergo structural transformations upon illumination with laser light of near bandgap energy, as well as chalcogenide materials (glasses and films). In this paper, photoinduced effects such as photoexpansion and photobleaching were observed in GeS2+Ga2O3 (GGSO) films synthesized by electron beam evaporation. A surface expansion of the thin films and a shift to shorter wavelengths of the optical absorption edge were observed as a result of UV laser irradiation (wavelength of 351 nm) and they are dependent on laser power density, exposure time and film composition. These parameters were varied to evaluate and enhance the observed effects. In addition, the irradiated GGSO samples exhibited a decrease in refractive index, measured with a prism-coupling technique, which makes these films suitable candidates for applications as gratings and waveguides in integrated optics.  相似文献
