作为一种新颖的MEMS器件,光栅光阀(GLV)被应用于高清晰数字电视和光通信的动态增益均衡(DGE)上,使用角度谱方法分析了这种光调制器的衰减机理,并对其仿真,得到了输入光衰减的曲线。在长距离传输过程中,由于多个EDFA级联产生的非线性,提出了对增益进行动态均衡的要求。基于GLV可以集成为一维阵列的特点,提出了基于这种光调制器的动态增益均衡器的结构,并进行了4路输入光信号的功率均衡实验,在实验中,输出的光功率可以衰减10dB以上,纹波可以控制在0.5dB以内。 相似文献

为了对宽可调谐微环耦合半导体激光器进行理论研究,提出了一种新型半导体激光器动态理论模型对其动态特性进行仿真分析。激光器的有源区采用传统的时域行波法进行模拟,由于调谐带宽大于40nm,需要考虑增益谱线型,而无源区则先利用频域模型计算其频谱特性,再利用有限冲击响应数字滤波器转化到时域与有源区进行连接。通过仿真分析得出,微环的耦合系数对激光器的大信号调制具有十分重要的影响。低耦合系数可以获得极窄的线宽但是激光器大信号直接调制能力也会随之急剧劣化。仿真结果还显示出该类型激光器可以进行高速大范围波长调谐。 相似文献

基于液晶分子的双折射特性,设计并制作了一种结构简单的可用于波分复用系统中的可调谐液晶法布里-珀罗滤光片。对器件的光谱调谐特性进行了分析和模拟,并得到了液晶分子的折射率调制与其分子在电场作用下产生的转动角度之间的关系式。最后,对所设计的结构进行了制作和实验,测试结果显示了滤光片的性能受液晶分子的排列特性和法布里-珀罗腔的反射镜参量的影响较大,同时实验表明了这种利用向列型液晶分子作为法布里-珀罗腔内介质的可调谐滤光片在加电压调试下其调谐性能良好,调谐范围可覆盖C波段,透过峰的半峰全宽达到了0.8nm,实验结果与设计相吻合。 相似文献

将铁电液晶作为缺陷层引入一维光子晶体中,用电场改变液晶分子的取向,形成光子晶体快速可调谐滤波器.用传输矩阵法研究了铁电液晶缺陷光子晶体的可调谐滤波特性,计算了电压和液晶材料参量对滤波器透射谱的影响.结果表明:改变电压能容易改变光子晶体滤波器透射峰的位置、强度、个数和带宽,实现良好的调谐滤波功能. 相似文献

分析了液晶法布里-玻罗可调滤波器中介质反射镜反射相位引起的峰值波长漂移. 液晶法-玻滤波器通过外加电压调谐峰值波长, 反射相位会导致峰值波长漂移使器件不能达到DWDM系统的使用要求. 本文推导了一套计算反射镜反射相位的公式,将它应用于液晶法-玻可调滤波器的理论设计, 模拟结果定量表示了反射相位对峰值波长造成的影响. 这对确定液晶可调滤波器峰值波长和设计器件电驱动装置具有重要意义. 由此设计了一个在光通讯波段可单调调谐的液晶法-玻滤波器. 相似文献

为了满足光纤射频链路和相位阵列人线应用要求,提出并实验验证了基于半导体光放大器(SOA)的全光微波滤波器,该结构利用SOA的放大自发辐射的交义增益调制(XGM)原理,可以实现通带和阻带的相互切换.它是基于由SOA和可调谐窄带光学滤波器构成的光纤延时环,利用SOA的放大自发辐射谱的交义增益调制产生负系数.当可调谐窄带光学滤波器的中心波长对准激光器的波长时,可获得一个高Q的带通滤波器频率响应;当可调谐窄带光学滤波器的中心波长偏离激光器波长一定量时,可获得陷波宽度较窄和通带相对较平的陷波滤波器频率响应.此结构通过调节可调谐窄带滤波器的中心波长可实现高Q与通带相对较平的陷波频率响应的切换. 相似文献

A bandwidth-tunable optical passband filter with tunable attenuation is proposed. The filter, composed of a transmission liquid crystal array and high-resolution diffraction grating, was successfully demonstrated based on the compact spatial light design. Experimental results showed that the bandwidth, wavelength, and attenuation could be tuned by controlling the voltage applied on the liquid crystal array. The insertion loss was less than 3 dB;the attenuation tuning range was from 0 to 15 dB. The bandwidth tuning range was from 50 to 5000 GHz, which covered the full C band. The tunable nanojet-induced mode achieved by coupled core–shell microcylinders with nematic liquid crystals is reported. The optical transmission properties of touching core–shell microcylinders with nematic liquid crystals are studied by using high resolution finite-difference time-domain simulation. We identify two rotation mechanisms of liquid crystal in terms of the coupling efficiency between neighboring core–shell microcylinders. The nanojet-induced guided modes depend strongly on the directors of liquid crystals. The optical transport can be continuously tuned in the core–shell microcylinder by controlling the directors of liquid crystals. The coupled core–shell microcylinders can be assembled inside hollow structures to build tunable optical waveguides for effective and low-loss guiding of photons. 相似文献

A voltage controlled multiple-stage tunable filter with broad continuous tuning range was studied in theory and experiment. Four liquid crystal retarders, two quartz plates with certain integral ratio phase retardations and five polarization films were assembled into a traditional Lyot filter. The tunable function was achieved by using the electro-birefringence effect of liquid crystal. The result of numerical simulation showed that the spectral resolution was ∼10 nm around bands of 500-700 nm; side forms rejection ratio and FWHM changed in contrast to considering and not considering the birefringence dispersion effect of liquid crystal and quartz; the shape of filtered light displayed by spectral photometer would be affected by spectrum bands of light source in spectral photometer. A four-stage tunable filter was made and tested, experiment results agreed with the numerical simulation results very well, the research results could be applied as reference for the study of broad spectrum tunable filters. 相似文献
