基于等效原理和互易性定理研究了两个靠近目标对平面波、高斯波束的光散射问题,给出了这一复合光散射模型的二阶散射结果。通常一阶散射结果容易求解,但由于耦合效应的复杂性,很难给出二阶散射结果的解析形式。为了解决这一问题,应用互易性定理给出了求解任意相邻介质目标二阶散射场的公式,同时借助等效原理将求解散射场公式中的体积分简化为面积分的形式,从而降低了求解难度。求解了两相邻球形粒子的复合散射场,并将求解结果与应用时域积分方程法求得的结果进行了比较。同时,还讨论了束腰半径、目标位置对散射截面及偏振度的影响。  相似文献

This paper derives, in the exact framework of multiple scattering theory for point targets, a noniterative analytical formula for the nonlinear inversion of the target scattering strengths from the scattering or response matrix that can be applied after the target positions have been estimated in a previous step via, e.g., time-reversal multiple signal classification or another approach. The new formula provides a noniterative analytical alternative to the iterative numerical solution approach for the same problem presented in a recent paper [A. J. Devaney, E. A. Marengo, and F. K. Gruber, "Time-reversal-based imaging and inverse scattering of multiply scattering point targets," J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 118, 3129-3138 (2005)]. The two methods (noniterative versus iterative) are comparatively investigated with two numerical examples.  相似文献

The solution of boundary value problems (BVP) for fourth order differential equations by their reduction to BVP for second order equations, with the aim to use the available efficient algorithms for the latter ones, attracts attention from many researchers. In this paper, using the technique developed by the authors in recent works we construct iterative method for a problem with complicated mixed boundary conditions for biharmonic equation which is originated from nanofluidic physics. The convergence rate of the method is proved and some numerical experiments are performed for testing its dependence on a parameter appearing in boundary conditions and on the position of the point where a transmission of boundary conditions occurs.  相似文献

提出一种用于数值求解带有一条边界裂纹的多角形区域上的Navier's方程组边值问题的半离散方法。做一个适当的坐标变换后,将原边值问题化为半无限长条上的不连续系数问题。将其半离散化以后,等价于一个常系数常微分方程组的边值问题。进一步,用直接法来求解这个边值问题,便得到原问题的半离散近似解。值得指出的是,这个用分离变量形式给出的半离散近似解自然地具有原问题的奇性。数值例子显示,用该方法可以很方便地计算出在裂纹顶端的应力强度因子的近似值。  相似文献

A numerical analysis of wave propagation in one dimensional inhomogeneous media is presented in this paper, the first (Part I) of two companion papers. The aim is to provide a natural and physical basis for the solution of the inverse scattering problem in one dimension. The paper includes (i) a discussion of some aspects of the numerical solution of the direct problem, (ii) typical results of calculation and (iii) a comparison between exact solutions and forward scattering approximation (FSA) solutions of the direct problem. It is shown that the FSA allows accurate calculations of the reflected wave and thus constitutes a sound basis for the solution of the inverse problem treated in Part II.  相似文献

This article deals with the numerical solution to the magneto-thermo-elasticity model, which is a system of the third order partial differential equations. By introducing a new function, the model is transformed into a system of the second order generalized hyperbolic equations. A priori estimate with the conservation for the problem is established. Then a three-level finite difference scheme is derived. The unique solvability, unconditional stability and second-order convergence in $L_{\infty}$-norm of the difference scheme are proved. One numerical example is presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new formulation of high frequency time-harmonic scattering problems in view of a numerical finite element solution. It is well-known that pollution error causes inaccuracies in the finite element solution of short-wave problems. To partially avoid this precision problem, the strategy proposed here consists in firstly numerically computing at a low cost an approximate phase of the exact solution through asymptotic propagative models. Secondly, using this approximate phase, a slowly varying unknown envelope is introduced and is computed using coarser mesh grids. The global procedure is called Phase Reduction. In this first paper, the general theoretical procedure is developed and low-order propagative models are numerically investigated in detail. Improved solutions based on higher order models are discussed showing the potential of the method for further developments.  相似文献

Multiple scattering of acoustic waves in a planar horizontal waveguide by finite-length cylinders is considered. Cylinder height equals the waveguide depth, and both are vertically constrained by the pressure-release boundaries. An analytically exact solution is obtained via normal mode expansion method in conjunction with the concept of the T matrix. The problem is decomposed into an infinite number of two-dimensional multiple scattering problems, modulated by waveguide mode shapes. Examples are presented for an isovelocity waveguide in which the medium is uniform and the waveguide depth is constant. It is found that, in numerical computations, including one or two evanescent modes captures the essence of the evanescent modes. Multiple scattering in the waveguide is compared with the corresponding two-dimensional case. It is concluded that, in low frequencies, the wave patterns in the two cases are very similar, with a shift in the frequency. The similarity diminishes when there are multiple propagating modes. Despite the mode mixing, some key features in the scattering as observed in the two-dimensional problem remain observable in the waveguide case.  相似文献

A regularization of the exact Fredholm integral equations for the field or its derivative on a scattering surface is proposed. This approach allows one to calculate the scattering or diffraction of pulsed wave fields by curved surfaces of arbitrary geometry. Mathematically, the method is based on the replacement of the exact Fredholm integral equations by their truncated analogs, in which the contributions of the geometrically shadowed regions are cancelled. This approach has a clear physical meaning and provides stable solutions even when the direct numerical solution of mathematically exact initial integral equations leads to unstable results. The method is mathematically substantiated and tested using the problem of plane-wave scattering by a cylinder as an example.  相似文献

A solution of the problem of X-ray specular reflection from a statistically rough surface is presented. It is based on using the Green function formalism. The Kirchhoff formula is used to describe the transmission of the wave field through a rough interface. Generally, microscopically exact expressions for the coefficients of transmission through a rough surface and reflection from it are obtained by taking multiple scattering effects into account. Averaging of the obtained expressions over possible realizations of random roughness of the interface between media allows to obtain rigorous expressions for specular reflection and transmission coefficients. The behavior of exact solutions in the limiting case of infinite correlation lengths is studied. It is shown that, in this case, the obtained solution corresponds to the Debye-Waller normalization. Expressions for the reflection and transmission coefficients making it possible to carry out numerical calculations are obtained in the Bourret approximation of multiple-scattering theory.  相似文献

An approximate solution is derived with using a factorization approach to the original Helmholtz equation. As a result, the system of two equations of parabolic type appears. The first system equation has an exact analytical solution whereas for the second one, an approximate solution, is considered in terms of perturbation series. It is shown that the obtained approximate solution is the modified classical small perturbation series with respect to small Rayleigh parameter. In Appendix A it is demonstrated that, when the derived perturbation series is converged, it is possible to summarize it and to represent the exact solution of original boundary problem in an analytical symbolical form.  相似文献

介绍常用的电磁场分析方法——解析法、有限差分法、有限元法.以静态电磁场边值问题为例,分别用自己编写的MATLAB有限差分程序及大型有限元分析软件ANSYS求出了数值解,并与解析法得到的精确解进行比较,得出了用数值法求解电磁场问题基本满足工程需要的结论.采用数值计算时,对如何减小计算机内存,取消冗余数据,也做了进一步的讨论.  相似文献

The initial value problem of convex conservation laws, which includes the famous Burgers’ (inviscid) equation, plays an important rule not only in theoretical analysis for conservation laws, but also in numerical computations for various numerical methods. For example, the initial value problem of the Burgers’ equation is one of the most popular benchmarks in testing various numerical methods. But in all the numerical tests the initial data have to be assumed that they are either periodic or having a compact support, so that periodic boundary conditions at the periodic boundaries or two constant boundary conditions at two far apart spatial artificial boundaries can be used in practical computations. In this paper for the initial value problem with any initial data we propose exact boundary conditions at two spatial artificial boundaries, which contain a finite computational domain, by using the Lax’s exact formulas for the convex conservation laws. The well-posedness of the initial-boundary problem is discussed and the finite difference schemes applied to the artificial boundary problems are described. Numerical tests with the proposed artificial boundary conditions are carried out by using the Lax–Friedrichs monotone difference schemes.  相似文献

We consider the exact iterative algorithm for solution of the direct and inverse scattering problems in 1D inhomogeneous half-space using piecewise-constant approximation of the constitutive parameter profiles (e.g., refractive index). A novel modification of the Gelfand–Levitan equation is derived for solution of the inverse scattering problem. Numerical examples are given and the effects related to a finite frequency band of the sounding pulse are discussed.  相似文献

A fundamentally new model of multiple photoelectron scattering in solids is described in this paper. It takes into account the nonuniform depth distribution of photoelectron sources and the anisotropic character of single scattering and yields an exact solution to the problem of multiple elastic scattering. Highly accurate and fast algorithms for calculating X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy signals can be developed on the basis of this model.  相似文献
