We investigate the quantum dynamics of a driven two-level system under spontaneous emission and its application in clock frequency estimation. By using the Lindblad equation to describe the system, we analytically obtain its exact solutions, which show three different regimes: Rabi oscillation, damped oscillation, and overdamped decay. From the analytical solutions, we explore how the spontaneous emission affects the clock frequency estimation. We find that under a moderate spontaneous emission rate, the transition frequency can still be inferred from the Rabi oscillation. Our results enable potential practical applications in frequency measurement and quantum control under decoherence.  相似文献

We have carried out an approximate analytical solution to precisely consider the influence of magnetic field on the transverse oscillation of particles in a cyclotron.The differential equations of transverse oscillation are solved from the Lindstedt-Poincare method.After careful deduction,accurate first-order analytic solutions are obtained.The analytical solutions are applied to the magnetic field from an isochronous cyclotron with four spiral sectors.The accuracy of these analytical solutions is verified and confirmed from comparison with a numerical method.Finally,we discussed the transverse oscillation at v_0=N/2,using the same analytical solution.  相似文献

The harmonic balance method is used to construct approximate frequency-amplitude relations and periodic solutions to an oscillating charge in the electric field of a ring. By combining linearization of the governing equation with the harmonic balance method, we construct analytical approximations to the oscillation frequencies and periodic solutions for the oscillator. To solve the nonlinear differential equation, firstly we make a change of variable and secondly the differential equation is rewritten in a form that does not contain the square-root expression. The approximate frequencies obtained are valid for the complete range of oscillation amplitudes and excellent agreement of the approximate frequencies and periodic solutions with the exact ones are demonstrated and discussed.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to study oscillation of fourth-order neutral differential equation. By using Riccati substitution and comparison technique, new oscillation conditions are obtained which insure that all solutions of the studied equation are oscillatory. In this paper, we study a system of three coupled van der Pol oscillators that are coupled through the damping terms. Hopf bifurcations and amplitude death induced by the coupling time delay are first investigated by analyzing the related characteristic equation. Then the oscillation patterns of these bifurcating periodic oscillations are determined and we find that there are two kinds of critical values of the coupling time delay: one is related to the synchronous periodic oscillations, the other is related to eight branches of asynchronous periodic solutions bifurcating simultaneously from the zero solution. The stability of these bifurcating periodic solutions are also explicitly determined by calculating the normal forms on center manifolds, and the stable synchronous and stable phase-locked periodic solutions are found. Finally, some numerical simulations are employed to illustrate and extend our obtained theoretical results and numerical studies also describe the switches of stable synchronous and phase-locked periodic oscillations.  相似文献

Changes in vocal fold oscillation threshold pressure were induced in excised canine larynges by experimentally causing fluid movement into and out of the vocal folds. The transport was facilitated by exposing the vocal folds to various osmotic solutions, and it was assumed that changes in hydration caused changes in the internal tissue viscosity. A range of oscillation threshold pressures was measured for each condition of hydration by varying length and glottal width. The oscillation threshold pressure shifted as predicted. Decreased hydration (increased viscosity) raised the threshold of oscillation, and increased hydration (decreased viscosity) lowered the threshold of oscillation. This apparently represents the first in vitro model for the study of the effect of viscosity changes of the internal environment of the vocal folds on phonation.  相似文献

本文提出一个新的光学双稳性模型.基于平均场近似,慢变振幅近似和绝热近似的思想,把光学双稳系统看成一个“黑箱”,类比非线性振动理论,指出不同的光学双稳过程(包括不同的工作物质和不同的腔(F-P腔或环腔)),能用一个恰当的强迫振动方程统一地描述.方程中所包含的都是可测量的宏观参量,使得可能直接用实验拟合,与理论结果进行定量对照.用振动理论的方法,把方程演变成自治方程组,从而方便地得到光学双稳性稳态和动态解的一般形式.并用若干已报道的具体例子验证了这个模型的普适性.  相似文献

We prove the uniqueness of Riemann solutions in the class of entropy solutions in with arbitrarily large oscillation for the 3 × 3 system of Euler equations in gas dynamics. The proof for solutions with large oscillation is based on a detailed analysis of the global behavior of shock curves in the phase space and the singularity of centered rarefaction waves near the center in the physical plane. The uniqueness of Riemann solutions yields their inviscid large-time stability under arbitrarily large perturbation of the Riemann initial data, as long as the corresponding solutions are in L and have local bounded total variation satisfying a natural condition on its growth with time. No specific reference to any particular method for constructing the entropy solutions is needed. The uniqueness result for Riemann solutions can easily be extended to entropy solutions U(x,t), piecewise Lipschitz in x, for any t > 0, with arbitrarily large oscillation. It is shown that the problem of potential deformations that preserve the energy dependence of the oscillation frequency corresponds in the classical limit to the isospectral problem for the Schrödinger equation. The solutions of the corresponding evolutionary equations for the potential (with respect to the deformation parameter) are simple Riemann waves. The relation between such solutions and the solutions of the inverse problem of mechanics — the problem of reconstructing the potential given the energy dependence of the oscillation frequency — is determined.  相似文献

We present an asymptotic algorithm to solve a problem of wave propagation in a thin bi-material strip with an array of cracks situated at the interface between two materials. For small frequencies we construct an asymptotic solution which takes into account the singular behavior near the crack tips and the smooth nature of the oscillation far away from them. We construct the boundary layer solutions near the crack tips. The boundary layers are harmonic solutions in scaled domains. Dispersion equations are derived and solved within the frame of the asymptotic model.  相似文献

This letter applies energy balance method and variational iteration method to a nonlinear oscillation of a mass attached to a stretched wire. We describe the correct cubic relation between the mass configuration of a Kater reversible pendulum and its period of oscillation. From an analysis of its solutions we conclude that there could be as many as three distinct mass configurations for which the periods of small oscillations about the two pivots of the pendulum have the same value. We also discuss a real compound Kater pendulum that realizes this property.  相似文献

Many cells reveal oscillatory behavior. Some cells reveal action-potential firing resulting from Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) type dynamics of ion channels in the cell membrane. Another type of oscillation relates to periodic inositol triphospate (IP3)-mediated calcium transients in the cytosol. In this study we present a bifurcation analysis of a cell with an excitable membrane and an IP3-mediated intracellular calcium oscillator. With IP3 concentration as a control parameter the model reveals a complex, rich spectrum of both stable and unstable solutions with hysteresis corresponding to experimental data. Our results reveal the emergence of complex behavior due to interactions between subcomponents with a relatively simple dynamical behavior.  相似文献

本文根据四腔强流相对论速调管设计过程中出现的高次模振荡现象,采用电磁场软件模拟,分析了这种振荡的产生原因,给出抑制这种高次模振荡的方法.利用二维和三维模拟软件,研究了谐振腔谐振频率、谐振腔Q值、漂移管长度、特性阻抗等参数的变化对高次模振荡的影响,模拟上验证了高次模振荡抑制方法的有效性,并在输出端模拟获得了功率2.13 GW、效率26%、增益60 dB的输出微波,实现了2D,3D中高次模振荡的有效抑制.最终在实验中获得了功率1.9 GW、效率24%、增益61 dB的输出微波.  相似文献

We address the coherence of the dynamics of spin-currents with components transverse to an external magnetic field for the spin-1/2 Heisenberg chain. We study current autocorrelations at finite temperatures and the real-time dynamics of currents at zero temperature. Besides a coherent Larmor oscillation, we find an additional collective oscillation at higher frequencies, emerging as a coherent many-magnon effect at low temperatures. Using numerical and analytical methods, we analyze the oscillation frequency and decay time of this coherent current-mode versus temperature and magnetic field.  相似文献
