We calculate Wigner function, tomogram of the pair coherent state by using its Sehmidt decomposition in the coherent state representation. It turns out that the Wigner function can be seen as the quantum entanglement (QE) between two two-variable Hermite polynomials (TVHP) and the tomogram is further simplified as QE of two single-variable Hermite polynomials. The Husimi function of pair coherent state is also calculated.  相似文献

We find that the squeezed two-mode number state is just a two-variable Hermite polynomial excitation of the two-mode squeezed vacuum state (THPES). We find that the Wigner function of THPES and its marginal distributions are just related to two-variable Hermite polynomials (or Laguerre polynomials) and that the tomogram of THPES can be expressed by one-mode Hermite polynomial.  相似文献

The nonclassicality of the two-variable Hermite polynomial state is investigated. It is found that the two-variable Hermite polynomial state can be considered as a two-mode photon subtracted squeezed vacuum state. A compact expression for the Wigner function is also derived analytically by using the Weyl-ordered operator invariance under similar transformations. Especially, the nonclassicality is discussed in terms of the negativity of the Wigner function. Then violations of Bell’s inequality for the two-variable Hermite polynomial state are studied.  相似文献

Using the thermal-entangled state representation and the operator-ordering method, we investigate Wigner function(WF) for the squeezed negative binomial state(SNBS) and the analytical evolution law of density operator in the amplitude decay channel.The results show that the analytical WF is related to the square of the module of single-variable Hermite polynomials, which leads to a new two-variable special function and its generating function, and the parameters s and γplay opposite roles in the WF distributions.Besides, after undergoing this channel, the initial pure SNBS evolves into a new mixed state related to two operator Hermite polynomials within normal ordering, and fully loses its nonclassicality and decays to vacuum at long decay time.  相似文献

The properties of muonic helium atom (^4He+2μ-e-) in ground state are considered. In this work, the energy and average distance between particles have been obtained using a wave function, which satisfies boundary conditions. It is shown that the obtained energy are very close to the values calculated by others. But the small differences of the expectation values of r^2n are due to the incorporated boundary conditions in proposed wave function and are expected.  相似文献

Based on the Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen (EPR) entangled state representation, this paper introduces the wave function for the squeezed atomic coherent state (SACS), which turns out to be just proportional to a single-variable ordinary Hermite polynomial of order 2j. Based on the fact that a two-mode squeezed number state is a two-variable Hermite polynomial excitation of the two-mode squeezed vacuum state, the result of one-mode l-photon measurement for the two-mode squeezed number state $S_2|m,n\rangle$ is discussed. It is found that a remaining field-mode simultaneously collapses into a number state $|n-m+l\rangle$ with the coefficient being a Jacobi polynomial of n, m and l, which manifestly exhibits the entanglement between the two modes, i.e. it depends on the number-difference between the two modes. The second mode collapses into an excited coherent state when the first mode is measured as a coherent state.  相似文献

By virtue of the entangled state representation we concisely derive some new operator identities with regard to the two-variable Hermite polynomial (TVHP). By them and the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators we further derive new generating function formulas of the TVHP. They are useful in quantum optical theoretical calculations. It is seen from this work that by combining the IWOP technique and quantum mechanical representations one can derive some new integration formulas even without really performing the integration.  相似文献

We investigate how the photon addition operation affects the nonclassical properties of the non-Gaussian squeezed state generated by adding photons to each mode of the two-mode squeezed coherent state (TMSCS). By the generating function of two-variable Hermite polynomials, the compact expression of normalization factor is derived. We show that the fields in such states exhibit remarkable sub-Poissonian photon statistics. The photon addition operation can enhance the cross-correlation for appropriate combinations of several parameters involved in the TMSCS. Compared with that of TMSCS, the Wigner function of the photon–added TMSCS (PA-TMSCS) is modulated by a factor which is also related with two-variable Hermite polynomials. Such Wigner functions have some negativity regions and show a strong quantum mechanical interference. In addition, the normalization factor, Mandel’s Q parameter, cross-correlation function and Wigner functions are all sensitive to the compound phase involved in TMSCS.  相似文献

By virtue of operator ordering technique and the generating function of polynomials, we provide a simple and neat approach to studying operator identities and mathematical formulas regarding to two-variable Hermite polynomials, which differs from the existing mathematical ways. We not only derive some new integration formulas and summation relations about two-variable Hermite polynomial, but also draw a conclusion that two-variable Hermite polynomial excitation of two-mode squeezed vacuum state is a squeezed two-mode number state. This may open a new route of developing mathematics by virtue of the quantum mechanical representations and operator ordering technique.  相似文献

Based on the newly constructed Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen (EPR) entangled state representation we introduce macroscopic classical functions associated with atomic coherent state τ with angular momentum value j. These functions are proportional to the ordinary one-variable Hermite polynomials of order 2j. The corresponding Wigner quasiprobability function for τ in phase space is also derived which turns out to be a two-variable Hermite polynomial H 2j, 2j. In so doing, a new classical-quantum correspondence scheme for angular momentum system is established. Using the entangled state representation of Wigner operator and some formulae related to the two-variable Hermite polynomials, the Wigner function of the squeezed pair coherent state (SPCS) and its two marginal distributions are derived. Based on the entangled Husimi operator introduced by Fan et al. (Phys. Lett. A 358:203, 2006) and the Weyl ordering invariance under similar transformations, we also obtain the Husimi function of the SPCS and its marginal distribution functions. The comparison between the two quasibability functions shows that, for the same amount of information included in two functions, the solving process of the Husimi function is simpler than that of the Wigner function.
