通过数值求解中红外飞秒光脉冲与一维单电子多阱势相互作用的含时薛定谔方程, 研究了晶体环境下的高次谐波发射光谱, 发现了晶体谐波谱的截止位置公式.研究发现, 不同于气体环境下的谐波谱截止频率规律, 晶体谐波谱的截止频率与激光电场的峰值振幅及晶格参数成线性关系. 鉴于准经典力学的三步模型对于气体谐波截止频率的解释, 进一步采用准经典力学方法验证了晶体谐波截止位置规律的正确性. 关键词: 中红外飞秒光脉冲 晶体 高次谐波 截止频率  相似文献

The generation of ultraviolet (UV) light at 335.5 nm based on frequency quadrupling of a diode-end- pumped Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser at 1342 nm was demonstrated. KTP crystal was used for generation of wavelength of 671 nm by intracavity doubling and LBO (BBO) crystal was exploited for the subsequent external fourth harmonic generation (FHG). With 6.3-W absorbed pump power and 10-kHz frequency repetition rate, the UV output power of 35 and 63 mW were obtained by using LBO and BBO as frequency quadrupling nonlinear crystals, respectively. The experimental results show that the conversion efficiency (red-UV) of 6.4% for BBO crystal is higher than that of 3.5% for LBO crystal, but the UV beam quality obtained by LBO crystal is better than by BBO crystal.  相似文献

Picosecond pulse pumped supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fiber is investigated by performing a series of comparative experiments. The main purpose is to investigate the supercontinuum generation processes excited by a given pump source through the experimental study of some specific fibers. A 20-W all-fiber picosecond master oscillator-power amplifier (MOPA) laser is used to pump three different kinds of photonic crystal fibers for supercontinuum generation. Three diverse supercontinuum formation processes are observed to correspond to photonie crystal fibers with distinct dis- persion properties. The experimental results are consistent with the relevant theoretical results. Based on the above analyses, a watt-level broadband white light supercontinuum source spanning from 500 nm to beyond 1700 nm is demonstrated by using a picosecond fiber laser in combination with the matched photonic crystal fiber. The limitation of the group velocity matching curve of the photonic crystal fiber is also discussed in the paper.  相似文献

First, it is demonstrated that with a c-cut Ti:sapphire crystal the generation of a nonpolarized laser beam is possible, in contrast to the conventional a-cut Ti:sapphire crystal, which produces a linearly polarized beam. Second, the generation of a radially polarized Ti:sapphire laser beam is demonstrated in combination with a c-cut YVO(4) crystal used as a selector of radial polarization.  相似文献

Tangential phase-matching has been realised in cesium lithium borate (CLBO) crystal for the first time for the generation of fourth harmonic (266 nm) of Nd:YAG and third harmonic (226.7 nm) of a dye laser radiation by second harmonic generation and sum-frequency mixing with the angular tolerance as large as 22 mrad and 21 mrad respectively, over one of the interacting beams. An energy conversion efficiency of 15% for fourth harmonic generation is obtained with a 5.5 mm thick crystal and with the average pump powers only 170 and 70 mW. A set of Sellmeier dispersion equations for the CLBO crystal have also been formulated.  相似文献

Widely tunable terahertz (THz)-wave generation using difference frequency generation (DFG) in an organic N-benzyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (BNA) crystal was demonstrated. To our knowledge, this is the first report of THz-wave generation by BNA DFG. Large, high-quality single crystals of BNA (phi 8 mm x 30 mm) were grown using the vertical Bridgman method. The nonlinear optical (NLO) coefficient d(33) of the BNA crystal is approximately 234 pm/V, which is the largest value reported for any yellow NLO material. The collinear phase-matching condition of the type-0 configuration is satisfied using a 0.7-1 microm band pump wavelength. We generated THz waves using an organic BNA crystal; the generation range is 0.1-15 THz.  相似文献

In this article, we present studies on therahertz (THz) wave generation and frequency up-conversion in a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal. A frequency at 1.37 THz was generated as femtosecond pump pulses passed through a PPLN crystal with grating periods of 30 μm. The pump-induced THz wave interacts with the probe wave in the crystal by frequency mixing. The frequency up-converted THz wave is easily detected by a normal photodiode. A new scheme for generation and detection of THz wave in one non-linear crystal was proposed.  相似文献

 非线性KTP(KTiOPO4)晶体的各向异性导热性能对于部分消除热应力以改善倍频效果具有重要作用。建立了3ω法测试系统,介绍了其测量各向异性材料的原理。测试了SiO2薄膜/Si衬底试样的导热系数,验证了该实验方法及系统的合理性。应用此方法测试得到KTP晶体沿径向和倍频方向(轴向)的导热系数,得到其不均匀度为0.737。结果验证了KTP晶体导热系数的各向异性。设计的实验系统可以有效测量各向异性晶体的导热性能。  相似文献

介绍了在1~20 Hz电光调Q情况下,半导体脉冲激光侧面泵浦Nd∶YAG晶体腔外四倍频266 nm紫外激光器的输出特性.实验采用直腔结构,在腔外分别利用KTP和BBO晶体产生532 nm倍频绿光、266 nm四倍频紫外激光.当泵浦电流为120 A、重复率为1 Hz时,266 nm紫外激光最大单脉冲能量为15.4 mJ、脉宽8 ns,峰值功率高达1.93 mW;重复率20 Hz时,获得了最大平均功率为156.2 mW的266 nm紫外激光输出,四倍频的转换效率为10.63%.同时利用一组分光镜,获得了352 mW的532 nm脉冲绿光和423 mW的1 064 nm脉冲红外光输出.  相似文献

The generation of a spatially single-mode white-light supercontinuum has been observed in a photonic crystal fiber pumped with 60-ps pulses of subkilowatt peak power. The spectral broadening is identified as being due to the combined action of stimulated Raman scattering and parametric four-wave-mixing generation, with a negligible contribution from the self-phase modulation of the pump pulses. The experimental results are in good agreement with detailed numerical simulations. These findings demonstrate that ultrafast femtosecond pulses are not needed for efficient supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers.  相似文献

A partly periodically poled KTiOPO(4) (KTP) crystal has been designed to integrate quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic generation (QPM SHG) with sum-frequency generation in one crystal for generating a third-harmonic beam. The highest conversion efficiencies of 45% and 3% have been achieved in our experiments for QPM SHG and third-harmonic generation, respectively, by use of picosecond laser pulses at 1.327 microm . We have also discovered that periodically poled KTP has slightly different indices (n(z)) from bulk KTP.  相似文献

采用脉冲重复频率可调的高功率皮秒脉冲光纤激 光抽运光子晶体光纤产生了平均输出功率为101 W的全 光纤化超连续谱. 通过一系列的对比实验, 详细研究了抽运激光的脉冲重复频率以及光子晶体光纤的长度对超连续谱产生的影响. 最后, 对如何实现更高平均功率的超连续谱输出进行相关的分析和讨论. 相关研究结果可以为进一步发展基于光子晶体光纤的高功率超连续谱光源提供一定的参考. 关键词: 光子晶体光纤 非线性光纤光学 超连续谱产生  相似文献

A tunable Ti:sapphire laser pumped by an intracavity frequency-doubled YAG laser was designed, and third-harmonic generation of the tunable Ti:sapphire laser was achieved by rotating the cardinal plane of the crystal through a multi-crystal cascade method. Noncollinear optical parametric up-conversion generation and amplification are realized in a thick β-barium borate (BBO) crystal, and a couple of visible femtosecond up-conversion laser pulses can be achieved by a femtosecond pulse at 800 nm as the pump sources. The theoretical and experimental results indicate that there exist phase-matching conditions for dual-color noncollinear parametric up-conversion generation and amplification, and their wavelengths can be tuned by rotating the BBO crystal. This parametric up-conversion generation and amplification can be attributed to three and five-wave mixing in a thick BBO crystal, and it shows the potential application on optical parametric chirped pulse amplification (OPCPA) to generate multi-color ultraviolet or visible femtosecond laser pulses pumped directly by femtosecond fundamental laser pulses without frequency-doubling or tripling.  相似文献

Theoretical analyses are presented on the critically phase-matched second-harmonic generation (SHG) in a biaxial crystal with the focused fundamental Gaussian beams. The dependence of the second-harmonic light power on the phase matching conditions, focused geometries, walk-off effects, and absorptions are discussed in detail. Expressions are presented for calculating the light power of the types I and II SHGs in the biaxial crystal, applied to optimize the blue light generation with the LiB305 crystal. A maximum conversion efficiency of around 37% is obtained with 798-nm laser power of 500 mW.  相似文献

The generation of continuously tunable UV radiation in the wavelength range 2300–3000 Å by frequency doubling the output of a nitrogen pumped dye laser is described. A lithium formate monohydride crystal 10 mm long yields a conversion efficiency of typically 2% at fundamental powers in excess of 50 kW and allows the generation of harmonic radiation at wavelengths 150 Å below those attainable using a refrigerated ammonium dihydrogen phosphate crystal.  相似文献

Collinear cascaded mid-IR frequency conversion in a single nonlinear optical crystal was accomplished. Concurrent collinear generation of the sum frequency of multiline fundamental band carbon monoxide laser radiation as a first frequency conversion cascade resulted in collinear difference frequency generation within the 4.3 to 4.9 μm spectral range when mixing this sum frequency radiation with the fundamental one as the second cascade in the same ZnGeP(2) nonlinear optical crystal.  相似文献

Specific features of difference-frequency generation of terahertz radiation in the regime of parametric microwave generation in a nonlinear crystal are investigated. It is suggested to use a periodic stripe structure formed in the crystal to achieve phase matching. The dynamics of the wave at difference frequency, which falls into terahertz or far-IR spectral region, is determined based on solution of the set of parametric interaction equations taking into consideration quadratic and cubic nonlinearities.  相似文献

By inserting an electro-tunable planar-oriented liquid crystal cell into the resonator, tuning of the generation wavelength was realized.
