本文研究了在相干多色处理中用黑白透射介质进行彩色图象空间编码的方法。这个方法可应用于彩色象的信号检测、去模糊、及相加与相减。并且指出,类似于相干单色处理,这种多色处理方法有能力处理彩色图象。这个方法虽然有某些不足之处,例如需要对被处理对象事先进行编码。但是,这个方法展示了在彩色图象处理中的一个新的方向。而且,它并不只局限于处理彩色图象,也可应用于处理某些具有灰度变化的图象。 关键词:  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel pattern recognition system for invariance to noise and distortions. The technique first generates a synthetic discriminant function of the target image from its different distorted versions. It then takes four different phase-shifted versions of the reference image, which are individually joint transform correlated with the given input scene. Thus the proposed algorithm produces a single cross-correlation signal corresponding to each potential target. Also a fringe-adjusted filter is designed to generate a delta-like correlation peak with high discrimination between the signal and the noise. The pattern recognition system is also designed for the identification of multiple targets belonging to multiple reference objects simultaneously in a given input scene. The proposed technique is investigated using computer simulation including real-life images in different complex environments.  相似文献

We have developed a method to obtain a set of spectral components of three-dimensional (3D) images for a spatially incoherent, polychromatic light source distribution by a fully passive interferometric technique. The principle of the method is based on the measurement of a five-dimensional (5D) spatial coherence function and signal processing including the synthetic aperture technique and spectral decomposition. This paper gives a mathematical formulation illustrating the principle of the method, and we report an experimental demonstration in which the measured object is composed of two statistically uncorrelated point sources. The experimental results verify the applicability of our method to conventional spatially incoherent, polychromatic objects.  相似文献

Time-resolved crystallography is a powerful technique that allows structural transitions to be followed in real time during the course of a chemical reaction. The extension of the time resolution of this technique to nanosecond and picosecond time scales require a short laser pulse to initiate the transition and a rapid polychromatic X-ray pulse to probe the structural perturbations. Unfortunately, polychromatic diffraction patterns are quite sensitive to subtle crystal movements that can occur from laser pulses used to trigger the structural transition. The immobilization of crystals within capillary tubes dramatically improves data quality and allows the utilization of more intense laser pulses for the initiation step. This leads to an increase in the signal to noise present in the electron density maps.  相似文献

The speed of image processing is limited by image acquisition circuitry. While optical pattern recognition techniques can reduce the computational burden on digital image processing, their image correlation rates are typically low due to the use of spatial optical elements. Here we report a method that overcomes this limitation and enables fast real-time analog image recognition at a record correlation rate of 36.7 MHz--1000 times higher rates than conventional methods. This technique seamlessly performs image acquisition, correlation, and signal integration all optically in the time domain before analog-to-digital conversion by virtue of optical space-to-time mapping.  相似文献

Correlation methods for recognition of polychromatic range images are presented. First, polychromatic range images are described. The correlation can be performed using either a single channel compressing both the range and the color images or a multichannel approach. The advantages of both methods are discussed. Translation invariant recognition along the x, y, and z axis is obtained. In the single channel approach, the range and the hue are combined using phase and amplitude coding. Then the double-channel approach is considered using sine-coding for the input image and phase-coding for the reference image. Finally, both channels are combined in order to improve the discrimination capability of the system. Optical implementation is performed.  相似文献

In this work a simple technique to obtain information about the species of wood samples using stress-wave sounds in the audible range is presented. However, spectra of wood sounds generated by pendulum impact are very complex and feature extraction for classification purposes is very difficult. Polyspectral techniques have been successfully applied to several problems from radar pattern recognition to medical signal processing. Following this approach, convolution of four different sound impacts has been done. This permits to extract clear polyspectral features suitable for wood species recognition with possible applications to both human assisted and automatic wood identification systems with minimal intersample variability. Results indicate that using this technique only the two most intense polyspectral peaks are enough for species recognition.  相似文献

A conventional joint transform correlator (JTC) often generates large correlation sidelobes as well as a large correlation peak width, strong zero-order peak, and low diffraction efficiency in target detection and recognition, which make the detection ability of JTC lower. To conquer these difficulties, firstly, a joint power spectrum (JPS) subtraction technique was proposed in Fourier plane, where power spectrum of reference image and power spectrum of object image are subtracted from the JPS before inverse Fourier-transform operation, it is evident that the improved JPS removes the zero-order term. Secondly, a fringe-adjusted filter (FAF) was presented to restrain sidelobes and noises. The revised JPS is multiplied by a FAF before the inverse Fourier-transform operation to obtain the cross-correlation peak. Computer simulations showed the improved method can markedly eliminate zero-order diffraction and effectively control the sidelobes and noises compared to traditional JTC, and then enhance the detection ability for JTC. Experimental results presented the sharp correlation peak and also demonstrated this approach effectiveness.  相似文献

Taking the polychromatic Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beam as a typical example of spatially partially coherent polychromatic beams, the spreading of polychromatic GSM beams in atmospheric turbulence is studied. The mean-squared width of polychromatic GSM beams in turbulence is derived by using the effective source and the strong fluctuation models. It is shown that the same result is obtained using both the models. The diffraction, atmospheric turbulence and beam polychroism result in a spreading of polychromatic GSM beams. If the scaling law fails, the spreading of polychromatic GSM beams increases with increasing bandwidth Γ, but the influence of Γ on the spreading of polychromatic GSM beams becomes small as the structure constant Cn2 of the refractive index and spatial correlation parameter α increase. The spreading of polychromatic GSM beams increases as Cn2 increases and α decreases. Spatially partially coherent polychromatic beams are less sensitive to the effects of atmospheric turbulence than spatially fully coherent polychromatic beams.  相似文献

Large area hydrogenated amorphous silicon p–i–n structures with low conductivity doped layers were proposed as single element monochrome image sensors. The investigation of the sensor output under different scanner wavelengths and varying electrical bias reveals that the response can be tuned to a certain wavelength, thus enabling color separation. The measurement technique is described in detail and two methods for color separation are proposed. The sensor output characteristics are evaluated under different bias voltages and wavelengths. The color separation mechanism can be explained by the variation of the band bending with light wavelength.The operation of the sensor is exemplified under illumination with a polychromatic image and using one of the proposed detection methods.  相似文献

基于暗通道的去雾算法计算初始透射率需要进行大量的数据比较,优化透射率时需要计算融合矩阵,这两个过程耗时巨大,使其难以投入实际应用。针对这一问题,提出了一种快速暗通道去雾方法。首先利用分区最小表的数据结构,提高初始透射率的计算速度;接着,在优化透射率时,采用基于形态学梯度的彩色图像边缘检测算法提取图像边缘信息,减少优化范围,再利用边缘信息与像素的空间信息优化透射率,避免计算复杂矩阵,从而加快了优化速度;最后,运用最小可觉差模型补偿前两个步骤导致的图像画质下降,提高图像清晰度。实验证明,快速暗通道去雾算法在保持恢复图像效果基本不变的基础上,很大程度提高了算法速度。  相似文献

A curvelet is a new and effective spectral transform, that allows sparse representations of complex data. It has many applications in several fields, including denoising, wave propagation in disordered media and pattern recognition. This spectral technique is based on directional basis functions that represent objects having discontinuities along smooth curves. In this work we apply this technique to the removal of Ground Roll, which is an undesired feature signal present in seismic data obtained by sounding the geological structures of the Earth. In this methodology the original seismic data is decomposed by curvelet transform in scales and angular domains. For each scale the curvelet denoising technique allows a very efficient separation of the Ground Roll in angle sections. The precise identification of the Ground Roll pattern allows an effective erasing of its coefficients. In contrast to conventional denoising techniques we do not use any artificial attenuation factor to decrease the amplitude of the Ground Roll coefficients. We have estimated that, depending on the scale, around 75% of the energy of the strong undesired signal is removed.  相似文献

A new non-contact interference method for gauge block or length bar calibration is presented. A central interference fringe of polychromatic light is used for the determination of the end surface position of the measured artefact. Distances referring to these positions are measured using a fringe-counting technique, with a wavelength-stabilized laser interferometer. Absolute and comparative measurement methods are proposed. The spatial correlations of acoustic field have important implications for underwater target detection and other applications in deep water. In this paper, the spatial correlations of the high intensity zone in the deep-water acoustic field are investigated by using the experimental data obtained in the South China Sea. The experimental results show that the structures of the spatial correlation coefficient at different ranges and depths are similar to the transmission loss structure in deep water. The main reason for this phenomenon is analyzed by combining the normal mode theory with the ray theory. It is shown that the received signals in the high intensity zone mainly include one or two main pulses which are contributed by the interference of a group of waterborne modes with similar phases. The horizontal-longitudinal correlations at the same receiver depth but in different high intensity zones are analyzed. At some positions, more pulses are received in the arrival structure of the signal due to bottom reflection and the horizontal-longitudinal correlation coefficient decreases accordingly.The multi-path arrival structure of receiving signal becomes more complex with increasing receiver depth.  相似文献

Results of theoretical and model studies of the probabilistic characteristics of signal detection by a spatial correlation filter are described. A mathematical model of signal processing in the spatial correlation filter is presented. Expressions for estimating the detection probability, missed detection probability, false alarm probability, and threshold level, as well as expressions for choosing the optimal filter parameters to obtain preset probability characteristics, are derived on the basis of this model. Results of computer simulation of the probabilistic characteristics of signal detection by spatial correlation filters with random arrays are shown to corroborate the theoretical findings obtained within the model.  相似文献

 采用第Ⅰ类相位匹配BBO晶体的放大传递函数方法,分别对光参量放大过程中单波长信号光注入和多波长信号光注入出现的参量荧光的空间特性进行了详细的理论研究。结果表明:一方面单波长信号光注入时,在某一特定的非共线角和相位匹配角下,它是以泵浦光为中心,呈锥形分布的,而在其它相位匹配区域内,则呈环形分布;另一方面,在多波长信号光入射情况下,参量荧光的光谱在某一特定的相位匹配角下集中分布在很宽的范围内,而在其余相位匹配区域内,参量荧光光谱呈分散分布状态。该结论对于光参量放大中三波群速失配的补偿,高增益和窄脉冲宽度的参量光的产生以及对于参量荧光的控制提供了理论依据,并且对于近年来量子图像处理和量子通讯等领域所关注的纠缠光场的产生也具有参考价值。  相似文献

In free-space optical communication links, atmospheric turbulence causes fluctuations in both the intensity and the phase of the received light signal, impairing link performance. In this paper, we describe several communication techniques to mitigate turbulence-induced intensity fluctuations, i.e., signal fading. These techniques are applicable in the regime in which the receiver aperture is smaller than the correlation length of the fading, and the observation interval is shorter than the correlation time of the fading. We assume that the receiver has no knowledge of the instantaneous fading state. The techniques we consider are based on the statistical properties of fading, as functions of both temporal and spatial coordinates. Our approaches can be divided into two categories: temporal domain techniques and spatial domain techniques. In the spatial domain techniques, one must employ at least two receivers to collect the signal light at different positions or from different spatial angles. Spatial diversity reception with multiple receivers can be used to overcome turbulence-induced fading. When it is not possible to place the receivers sufficiently far apart, the fading at different receivers is correlated, reducing the diversity gain. We describe a ML detection technique to reduce the diversity gain penalty caused by such fading correlation. In the temporal domain techniques, one employs a single receiver. When the receiver knows only the marginal statistics of the fading, a symbol-by-symbol ML detector can be used to optimize performance. When the receiver also knows the temporal correlation of the fading, maximum-likelihood sequence detection (MLSD) can be employed, yielding a further performance improvement, but at the cost of very high complexity. We describe two reduced-complexity implementations of the MLSD, which make use of a single-step Markov chain model for the fading correlation in conjunction with per-survivor processing. Next, we also investigate the performance of using error-control coding and pilot symbol-assisted detection schemes through atmospheric turbulence channels.  相似文献
