Geoacoustic Inversion Based on a Vector Hydrophone Array   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
We propose a geoacoustic inversion scheme employing a vector hydrophone array based on the fact that vector hydrophone can provide more acoustic field information than traditional pressure hydrophones. Firstly, the transmission loss of particle velocities is discussed. Secondly, the sediment sound speed is acquired by a matchedfield processing (MFP) procedure, which is the optimization in combination of the pressure field and vertical particle velocity field. Finally, the bottom attenuation is estimated from the transmission loss difference between the vertical particle velocity and the pressure. The inversion method based on the vector hydrophone array mainly has two advantages: One is that the MFP method based on vector field can decrease the uncertain estimation of the sediment sound speed. The other is that the objective function based on the transmission loss difference has good sensitivity to the sediment attenuation and the inverted sediment attenuation is independent of source level. The validity of the inverted parameters is examined by comparison of the numerical results with the experimental data.  相似文献

浅海波导中传播的脉冲信号可以通过频散特征映射方法(warping变换)进行简正波的有效分离,这使得频散曲线的获取更加容易和准确.利用简正波频散特征映射方法分析2010年南海声层析实验中单个阵元接收的声学信号,有效分离出各号简正波,并进一步通过Wigner-Ville分布处理提取出波导中各号简正波的频散曲线.将提取的频散曲线与理论计算到达时差进行匹配,实现了利用单水听器信号的海洋环境参数反演.实验结果表明:将简正波分离与Wigner-Ville分布相结合可有效消除Wigner-Ville分布在估计多分量信号时的交叉干扰,提取的频散特征可很好地用于同时反演海水和海底声速剖面。为评价反演结果的有效性,对反演结果进行了后验概率分析,并将一小时内的海水声速剖面反演结果与温度链实测值作对比,二者符合较好.   相似文献

Theoretical and experimental issues of acquiring dispersion curves for bars of arbitrary cross-section are discussed. Since a guided wave can propagate over long distances in a structure, guided waves have great potential for being applied to the rapid non-destructive evaluation of large structures such as rails in the railroad industry. Such fundamental data as phase velocity, group velocity, and wave structure for each guided wave mode is presented for structures with complicated cross-sectional geometries as rail. Phase velocity and group velocity dispersion curves are obtained for bars with an arbitrary cross-section using a semi-analytical finite element method. Since a large number of propagating modes with close phase velocities exist, dispersion curves consisting of only dominant modes are obtained by calculating the displacement at a received point for each mode. These theoretical dispersion curves agree in characteristic parts with the experimental dispersion curves obtained by a two-dimensional Fourier transform technique.  相似文献

The normal modes and their dispersions for poly(l-asparagine) (PLN) in the α-helical form have been obtained in a reduced zone scheme with Wilson's GF matrix method as modified by Higgs. The results indicate that the modes below 1350 cm?1 show appreciable dispersion. Optically active frequencies corresponding to the zone center and zone boundary are identified and discussed. Some of the characteristic features of the dispersion curves are repulsion accompanied by an exchange of character and von Hove singularities. Amide modes, side chain modes, and mixed modes are reported. The heat capacity calculated from the dispersion curves via density-of-states using Debye's relation is compared with the experimental data in the temperature range of 220–390 K.  相似文献

This paper introduces a single-receiver geoacoustic-inversion method based on dispersion analysis and adapted to low-frequency impulsive sources in shallow-water environments. In this context, most existing methods take advantage of the modal dispersion curves in the time-frequency domain. Inversion is usually performed by matching estimated dispersion curves with simulated replicas. The method proposed here is different. It considers the received modes in the frequency domain. The modes are transformed using an operator called modal reversal, which is parameterized using environmental parameters. When modal reversal is applied using parameters that match the real environment, dispersion is compensated for in all of the modes. In this case, the reversed modes are in phase and add up constructively, which is not the case when modal reversal is ill-parameterized. To use this phenomenon, a criterion that adds up the reversed modes has been defined. The geoacoustic inversion is finally performed by maximizing this criterion. The proposed method is benchmarked against simulated data, and it is applied to experimental data recorded during the Shallow Water 2006 experiment.  相似文献

斯通利波的频散特性常用于反演横向各向同性地层的各向异性。该文重点对斯通利波频散曲线随井孔和地层弹性模量相关参数的变化规律进行了探讨,提出了频散曲线的快速插值计算方法,经过误差分析验证了插值频散计算的可行性。据此提出了通过对参数大间隔取值建立理论频散数值表,插值计算不同各向异性参数的频散曲线,对比波形频散快速反演横向各向同性地层各向异性的方法。基于实轴积分法计算的横向各向同性地层井孔声场分别进行了插值频散快速反演和传统方法反演,对比结果证实了该文提出的快速反演方法的准确高效性,并且对数据加噪后验证了快速反演方法的抗噪性。  相似文献

根据地声参数对不同声场物理量影响不同,提出了一种利用简正波频散特征结合声传播损失反演地声参数的联合反演方法。首先,考虑到简正波的频散特性(群速度)对海底的密度和声速较为敏感,而对海底吸收系数不敏感,利用自适应时频分析方法,获得不同频率不同号数简正波的到达时间差,以此作为代价函数,采用全局优化算法,反演出海底密度和海底声速的分层结构,并用概率统计的方法评价反演结果的有效性。反演出海底密度和声速后,利用实验船辐射噪声得到随距离连续的声传播损失来反演出海底吸收系数。最后,把反演的参数很好的用于声源匹配定位验证了反演结果的有效性。   相似文献

宽带声源在远距离传播中的频散过程反映着海洋环境特性的重要信息,准确提取这一过程中各简正波的有关信息是有效实现海洋声场反演的重要前提。小波变换虽然已被用于获取宽带声源的时频分布,但不具备适用于不同信号的柔性。在此背景下,本文介绍了一种自适应基小波方法,可适应不同形式的爆炸声信号,从而有效实现了频散现象的获取。在此基础上,本文同时建立了各号简正波的重构方法,经仿真测试,重构出的简正波与实际波形几乎相同。  相似文献

在浅海环境中, 海底环境参数对声传播有着重要的影响. 由于利用单个宽带声源进行海底参数反演时, 随着距离的增大, 误差变大, 本文提出利用warping变换对在浅海波导中传播的, 不同距离上的两个宽带爆炸声源进行简正波的有效分离, 实现了宽带爆炸声源的远距离海底参数反演. 采用全局寻优遗传算法对提取出的模态频散到达时间差与理论计算的模态频散到达时间差进行匹配处理, 并结合随距离连续变化的声传播损失, 实现了利用单水听器进行海底参数的反演. 实验结果表明: 运用反演出的海底参数提取模态频散时间差和实测数据提取出的模态频散时间差吻合得较好; 而通过传播损失反演得到的海底衰减系数与频率呈指数关系. 最后, 对反演结果进行了后验概率分析, 并将本组爆炸声源的反演结果用于另一组不同距离上爆炸声源时仍然有效, 来评价反演结果的有效性.  相似文献

In this study, we present a model study of guided wave dispersion and resonance behavior of an array of piezoelectric plates with arbitrary cross-sections. The objective of this work is to analyze the influence of the geometry of an element of a 1D-array ultrasound transducer on generating multi-resonance frequency so as to increase the frequency bandwidth of the transducers. A semi-analytical finite-element (SAFE) method is used to model guided wave propagation in multi-layered 1D-array ultrasound transducers. Each element of the array is composed of LiNbO3 piezoelectric material with rectangular or subdiced cross-section. Four-node bilinear finite-elements have been used to discretize the cross-section of the transducer. Dispersion curves showing the dependence of phase and group velocities on the frequency, and mode shapes of propagating modes were obtained for different geometry consurations. A parametric analysis was carried out to determine the effect of the aspect ratio, subdicing, inversion layer and matching layers on the vibrational behavior of 1D-array ultrasound transducers. It was found that the geometry with subdiced cross-section causes more vibration modes compared with the rectangular section. Modal analysis showed that the additional modes correspond to lateral modes of the piezoelectric subdiced section. In addition, some modes have strong normal displacements, which may influence the bandwidth and the pressure field in front of the transducer. In addition, the dispersion curves reveal strong coupling between waveguide modes due to the anisotropy of the piezoelectric crystal. The effect of the matching layers was to cluster extensional and flexural modes within a certain frequency range. Finally, inversion layer is found to have a minor effect on the dispersion curves. This analysis may provide a means to analyze and understand the dynamic response of 1D-array ultrasound transducers.  相似文献

At low-to-mid frequencies (1-15 kHz), sound penetrates better into lossy saturated sediments such as sandy seabeds than at the higher frequencies typical of many sonar systems. At the lower frequencies the signature of a man-made object, such as an oil can or a mine, is characterized by relatively strong elastic components that may help in detecting the object when partially or totally buried in high-density-clutter areas. Using simulations, we studied the low frequency elastic response of representative elastic objects such as spherical and cylindrical shells. This was done by selecting the strongest elastic waves supported and predicting how their characteristics (i.e., dispersion and attenuation) change as the bottom type or the object’s burial depth varies. Based on this study, experimental results of physics-based detection of man-made buried objects are shown. At-sea data were selected from the measurements conducted during the GOATS’98 trial in a cluttered, sandy seabed area in coastal waters.  相似文献

表面粗糙是材料制造过程中必有的副产物, 粗糙表面会引起其中传播的声表面波的速度发生变化. 在利用激光声表面波对材料性质进行评估时, 常用宽带的激光声表面波速度频散特性对材料性质进行反演. 为了研究表面粗糙度是否能作为反演的特征参数之一, 本文建立了激光在表面粗糙样品中激发声表面波、聚偏氟乙烯换能器宽带接收声表面波的实验装置来研究不同粗糙度表面对声表面波速度的影响; 理论上建立了激光在粗糙表面中激发声表面波的计算模型, 利用有限元法得到声表面波的时域特征, 并进一步得到声表面波的速度色散曲线, 理论结果和实验结果能很好地拟合. 这为利用激光声表面波对表面粗糙的评估提供理论和实验依据. 关键词: 表面粗糙 激光声表面波 速度色散 聚偏氟乙烯传感器 有限元法  相似文献

The shear-wave velocity profile can be obtained by the velocity of Rayleigh waves through the back-calculation based on dispersion curves. However, the dispersion curves obtained in practical application are always discontinuous and correspond to different mode branches due to mode jumping, especially in the presence of low-velocity layer. Mode misidentification may be encountered in inversion based on these jumped dispersion curves. Mode analysis demonstrates that the mode jumping is caused by a different surface displacement distribution with frequency for each mode. This indicates that the surface displacement distribution of the modes should be taken into account for the case of a low-velocity layer. Shear-wave velocity profiles are inversed based on the (possibly discontinuous) dispersion curves of fundamental and/or higher modes using a genetic algorithm (GA). In addition to the dispersion characteristics, the surface displacement distribution is also taken into account for the case of a low-velocity layer; as a result, mode misidentification is avoided. 为了获得浅海海底地声模型参数,利用warping变换方法分离出单模态简正波.对于接收深度固定、定深爆炸声源情况,以简正波理论为基础定义了距离归一化的简正波传播损失,并且其随传播的距离呈线性关系,故可通过此变化规律得到声压值实部的衰减因子,进而可求得海底地声模型参数:海底衰减系数.为验证此方法的有效性,仿真了warping变换提取单模态简正波的过程,同时将warping变换提取的单模态简正波与数值计算的结果进行比较验证;并针对某次黄海试验数据进行了处理,得到在150—550 Hz频带范围内海底衰减随频率的变化规律为α=0.581f_k~(1.86)(dB/m).通过与其他学者在相同海域试验结果的对比验证,变化规律基本相同.此外不同模态间反演相同频点的衰减系数接近也较好地支撑了结果.  相似文献

Chu’s theory for the impulse response of a point source to an isovelocity density contrast wedge [Chu D. Impulse response of density contrast wedge using normal coordinates. J Acoust Soc Am 1989;86:1883-96] enables wedge-assemblage rough surface scattering models to be extended to a broad range of penetrable seafloors, but is computationally intensive since it necessitates finding the multifold roots of a characteristic eigenvalue equation, and summing a power series, for each wedge apex. This present work considers the properties and relationships of the direct, reflected, and diffracted field components of a density contrast wedge. In particular, an analysis of the physical origin and behavior of diffractions associated with specular reflections of the source in the wedge faces leads to a simple extension of the Biot-Tolstoy theory [Biot MA, Tolstoy I. Formulation of wave propagation in infinite media by normal coordinates with an application to diffraction. J Acoust Soc Am 1957;29:381-91] to density contrast wedges with reflectivity ∣R∣ < 1, for wedge angles within the range 150 ? θw ? 210°, where the diffractions are predominantly associated with a single reflection in each wedge face. Cavitation within a pump causes structural vibration with noise, among other by-products. Experiments have shown that there is a discrete frequency or broadband peak within the audible noise spectra, which is in strong correlation with the development of the cavitation process in the pump. Furthermore, the peak of the discrete frequency, or broadband peak, coincides with the net positive suction head (NPSH) critical value, which corresponds to a 3% drop in the total delivery head. Therefore, the discrete frequency tone can be used to detect the incipience of cavitation and its development as well as to determine the NPSH required or critical value with in situ operation of a pump. In this study, we wanted to clarify the mechanism of noise generation, which is responsible for the discrete frequency component and on which cavitation has an important effect. For this purpose, three different measurement methods were used: the first is based on measurement of the sound pressure level (SPL) in the surrounding air, the second is based on measurement of the underwater acoustics and the third is based on measurement of the structural vibration. Experiments have shown that the characteristic discrete frequency tone, which is in close correlation with the cavitation process, is a result of structural vibrations (modes) or resonances caused by implosion of bubbles and bombardment of the inner surfaces of the pump.  相似文献

We obtain an asymptotic solution to the vertical branch-cut integral of shear waves excited by an impulsive pressure point source in a fluid-filled borehole, by taking the effect of the infinite singularity of the Hankel functions related to shear waves in the integrand at the shear branch point into account and using the method of steepest-descent to expand the vertical branch-cut integral of shear waves. It is theoretically proven that the saddle point of the integrand is located at ks-i/z, where ks and z are the shear branch point and the offset. The continuous and smooth amplitude spectra and the resonant peaks of shear waves are numerically calculated from the asymptotic solution. These asymptotic results are generally in agreement with the numerical integral results. It is also found by the comparison and analysis of two results that the resonant factor and the effect of the normal and leaking mode poles around the shear branch point lead to the two-peak characteristics of the amplitude spectra of shear waves in the resonant peak zones from the numerical integral calculations.  相似文献

现有深海地声参数反演研究通常基于全波场理论,存在计算量大、多值性以及需要准确的水文环境信息等问题。针对这一问题,提出一种基于简正波频散特征的深海低声速沉积层海底参数反演方法。在南海北部大陆坡海域的一次实验中,坐底式水听器(深度约1740 m)接收的沉底弹信号中观察到一种低频成分先到而高频成分后至的到达结构,由被限制在低声速沉积层的简正波组成。通过匹配沉积层简正波60-220 Hz频段内的到达时间差对实验海域的低声速海底参数进行反演,得到沉积层厚度为16.4 m,沉积层声速为1450.5 m/s,与底质采样数据比较吻合,且具有较高的可信度,验证了所提方法的有效性。由于沉积层密度对简正波频散特征的敏感性较差,其反演结果可信度不是很高,需要进一步研究。  相似文献
